Engine's running high, Baby. Can you come and check it?
The up beat lyrics pumped out of the speakers, the music. The vibe of this nightclub was most certainly 'pumping'. As Kory led her young lady friends in through the front entrance. Yep, they passed security rather swell. There was a little questions raised, but Kory assured she'd keep a safe on them and no drinking. Which worked perfectly, given Kory wasn't much of a drinker and one really could still have fun… Tonight was about dancing and having fun. Possibly a girls night, but you never did know who you could run into, in such a place. For now it was Kory, Barbara and Kara. After a long day with the titans, Kory had been keen to check out this new happening club down in the south. There always seemed to be a new one opening, not all were thrilling, many dirty depending on where, but this seemed rather classy in its modern set up. Not over stated by any means, but a positive environment. That was felt from the moment they entered. After ditching her Starfire gear, Kory opted for a more casual attire, but fun. With a nice form fitting playsuit… There was perhaps some reason to wear it simply from the fact it was called a playsuit and tonight she was indeed ready to dance. All else Kory needed was the cute little purple belt and low to medium pumps, she really didn't need the extra height, but certainly liked the pop of colour. Her colour if she ever had a colour. Not overly stated, affordable was this outfit and revealed her long smooth golden leg. Her red fiery hair flowed out in tousled curls. Pair of dark aviators. To help shield some of the wintery blues and maybe just to keep her heart warm. Kory wore a well used, well loved bomber jacket she borrowed from Dick. Unzipping it and pulling it off her arms. As Kory stopped at the little station to keep coats and jackets. There was a fair chance, it was going to get hot in the club.
"Welcome to the club… First, would you like to put your coats away, ladies? They'll be safe here."
Spoken kindly and sweetly as Kory welcomed the girls into the club, perhaps a place they had not been until now. As the tamaranean smiled. Before of course offering for them the chance to remove any coats or jackets. Of course they were free to keep them. Though assured they would be safe here, in most of her experiences they had been safe. As Kory folded her jacket and kindly passed it to the nicely lady behind the booth and received a little tag for later when she needed it. After the few moments spent there. Kory then led them into the heart of the club. With already a vast amount of dancing going on. A big open dance floor. A recent sized bar to the right. There was some tables, chairs and couple of couches sprung in varies parts mostly surrounding the dance floor. The dance floor also rose in a couple levels, like a stage, used to dance, but perhaps for performances on certain nights… There was also elegant stairs that went up to more levels, including theVIP area, which was very well spaced. The lights were dimmed, but moved and popped with the current beat flowing out. Mostly shades of deep gold at the moment. The warm and inviting feel for fun. The music flowing out of the DJ station on the first level. Kory could almost unwind her shoulders and smile. First things first. As Kory led to the bar for refreshments.
"Hi… I'd like a diet coke with raspberry, please… Would either of you care for a refreshment? Its on me!"
Kory kindly told the charming funky looking man behind the bar, taking her drink order. No alcohol, she was sure she didn't need it. Besides, diet coke with raspberry was not something she'd lightly turn down. Before offering Barbara and Kara if they'd want any drinks, non-alcoholic. Insisting she was happy to pay for them, it would be less that ten dollars, she could more than afford it and the price of joy tonight was worth every penny. Lingered at the bar, allowing them to order any drinks if they so desired and awaited on the drink. Brushing her red hair mindfully over her shoulder and turned to face the dance floor. Resting her golden elbows on the bar gently. Bobbing her head to the beat.
"So what do you think of the place so far? I can get us in the Vip area, if you like?"
Raising the question to both inexperienced club girls. Offering a pleasant expression. As her eyes looked through the happening joint. It really was looking like a really nice club, it was only telling if it would stick or simply get replaced by another, but for now they were here… Offering to take them into the VIP area, if they liked. She wasn't greatly known, but she was well known enough to have been spurn VIP before, whether it be because she was model or because she was a superhero. Although looking around there were some comfy spots to sit on the main floor or they could go straight to dancing… Or potentially check out boys. As Kory caught young lads down the bar potentially checking them out.

If her dear father would have known that she was going to the South end of Gotham, he would have confined her to her room for the entire night, despite her age. While the teenager was convinced that she was fully capable of handling herself after years of experienced martial arts training, she amused her father in order to keep her double life as Batgirl a secret. However, not only was she going to experience the South side of Gotham, but she was accompanying some of her newfound friends now that she had distinguished herself as part of the bat family and had formed herself a n exclusive few ‘super’ friends. Both excitement and dread bubbled inside the college student as she prepared for the evening ahead of her. Kory had persisted on taking her to a club, but what Kory didn’t know was that Babs was merely nineteen. However, her advanced computer skills enabled her to create a fake ID for herself within several hours and harmlessly borrowing her mother’s ID as a template and guide. Getting in wasn’t the problem, it was what to wear.
Thankfully enough, Kory was more experienced in the nightlife than she was, helping her put together the perfect – though revealing outfit to flatter her ample chest, distinguished curves and overall flattering frame. Barbara hardly recognized herself in the mirror as she prepared to go out, though she couldn’t deny the adventure before her. When she was little she practically dreamed of this experience; accompanying those who resembled the superheroes that she read and obsessed over. This was basically a dream come true for the redhead. Not only had a woman she recently befriended and idolized picked out her outfit, but she was escorting her around to one of the hottest nightclubs – her first night club.
The music was unusual from what she typically listened too. A huge fan of classical, the beat was a bit unusual to her taste, but it wasn’t a bad thing. “Sure, thanks” Handing over her coat, she noticed a majority of eyes retreat to the three beauties’ that had entered the club. Barbara went to push her glasses up the bridge of her nose only to blush when she remembered that she had decided to wear her contacts instead this evening. “Guys,” the redheaded beauty started nervously. “I know it is a little late for confessions…but I have never been to a club before.” Clearly, she was nineteen, though her recently formed fake ID seemed to have gotten her through the door just fine.
The scene was a lot to take in, and Barbara scanned the facility with her blue eyes wide, trying to ignore the hungry looks she was getting. Her outfit was much too revealing for her tastes, though she knew that Kory’s expertise was sure to benefit her more than her usual button-ups and plaid skirts. When it was her turn to order, she looked like a deer in the headlights. “Um, “ She looked over at Kory, “What do you recommend?” This was all so overwhelming, but she couldn’t stop smiling. Accidently meeting the gaze of a handsome man across the club, she brashly looked away, assuming they were just looking at Kory. After all, she was practically flawless. At the model’s suggestion to move to VIP, she looked from one of her companions to the other. “I honestly have no idea. “ She replied with a smile. “I’m clearly down for anything.” notes: FIRST BABS POST AHH! Still getting used to her, so cut me slack <3 outfit: clicky

Kara had followed Kory's lead. She may be supergirl, but tonight she couldn't act like it. It was enough to slight change her hair style and keep on a pair of thin rimmed glasses to through off people at first glance. Clark always said to give them something else to focus on rather than what they might recognize. There was always the risk of someone recognize her with ease. But it was a chance they all took. And she much preferred her normal hair compared to having to go to wearing a wig. Kara had chosen a rather simple black dress with the skirt being navy blue. And she topped it off with a darker shade of navy blue to cinch it off to emphasize her curves. And she carried a small black purse with her. And wore a pair of black heels to give her some height. clickThis wasn't something she hadn't done before. Compared to the reputation of Supergirl, the civilian Kara, had gotten a fake ID with the help of some other girls at school. It's not like she used it that often. And when she did, it was pretty much just to get into the nightclubs to dance. She had her limits. She had followed Kory into the place. And Barbara wasn't much further ahead from her. "Thank you Kory," Kara replied as she slipped off her wool black overcoat. Kara just followed Kory's lead. This was a place she had not been too before. And the place was pulsing with a lively rhythm as they moved through the crowd. When they got to the bar, Kara thought about what she wanted. Though she thought she'd stick to something she regularly like to order when out. "I'll just take a ginger-ale, thanks," Kara spoke up. She joined Kory at the bar. Climbing up into one of the tall bar stools. It was funny seeing how alcohol had not effect on someone like her. She had learned that from some of Superman's closer friends. Not like she'd ask Clark flat out. "This place is awesome," Kara smiled at Kory in response. "It'd be cool to check out the VIP section. If you're up for it as well Barbara?"Kara turned and smiled at Barbara. Sure she'd like to herself go and do it, but the came together and she planned to stay with them.

The nightclub was just about to heat up with the arrival of the three young women, two being underaged, with Kory and their help they certainly managed to get in. It was hardly unlikely that Kory would lose sight of them once in. Stick closely, although with the underlining knowledge they were capable of kicking the butt, they could manage. Though still being the two teens were not experienced, Kory would keep a kind eye on them, without of course stopping the fun… The fun was the main reason. They deserved to do something fun. Let loose a little bit. Shake all stresses and dance the night a little away. A heroes day is never really over. With the deep and good rapid beat stirring through the glamourous nightclub, it certainly was driving Kory's pulse just that little bit. Earth music was once something new to her, new to her completely, but certainly grew to enjoy it.
"You are both very welcome… May I add you are both looking stunning tonight, ladies."
Kory kindly responded to the two young girls. As they slipped off their coats, folding them nicely before she handed the coats to the nice lady behind the booth. Taking the little collection slips in hand, passing them to Kara and Barbara. Sweetly commenting how beautiful the girls looked. Even though Kory had helped put Barbara's outfit together, still wow. Her red hair was really popping with that dress. The blue in Kara's outfit truly brought out her beautiful eyes. Their outfits, but most of all just themselves. Those fresh smiles. Hinted with a little bit of nerves, but also excitement. They were ready to have fun. Leading Kara and Barbara through the buzzing crowd, it was early hours, but being a new up and coming, it well it was certainly creating a buzz. It wasn't long though until Kory had led them to the bar or at least the main bar. Start with a little refreshment, if they really were going to be dancing the night, they needed to keep a little hydrated. Perhaps water had been better for that, but Kory couldn't help her sweet tooth with her order.
"Thats ok, Barbara. There is a first time for everything. Relax and enjoy yourself. You'll be fine. If in doubt just follow my lead. I assure you I will not lead you into anything dangerous…"
Kory caught Barbara's words, heard the little nerves in her voice. X'hal, she could see it on her fact. Although to be fair as Kory smiled to her sweetly, it was a little written on her face… As assuringly as Kory could be, to help ease Barbara's mind and nerves. There was as humans said a first time for everything. You never know really unless you take that little leap. Sometimes it maybe what you expect, but you never know unless you try. Though there was really little fear. With simple sweet drinks, a little girl talk and a lot of dancing. Really all they needed to was just enjoy themselves. Something soon would be calling for capes again… Barbara will be fine. Kara will be fine as Kory kindly looked to both of them to follow her lead if in doubt, though with a playful smile mentioned there be no danger. Hmmm, maybe a little danger. When it came to leading them into the dance floor.
"Good choice! One ginger-ale, please! Hmmm! To go with the new experience. How about a mocktail, Barbara?"
Picking up Kara's choice of beverage. With a kind smile and asked the kind, funky looking man behind the bar. Certainly was in good taste, Kory had tried that before. Even if it didn't taste what she originally thought it would, it was pleasantly surprised her. At Barbara's request for Kory to recommend, she couldn't completely imagine what Barbara's taste buds would like, but she certainly could think up some options. Some suggestions. Pondering shortly. Given this was Barbara's first time and cocktails would be out of the question, but these places certainly did some amazing non-alcoholic cocktails. Fun and often in delicious colours. As Kory pulled at a drink menu. Flipping through it on the bar before Barbara. Some soda based. Some tea based. Mixed with didn't fruit.
"Any take your fancy? Oooh! The Virgin Sangria. That can be quite refreshing."
Kindly Kory enquired, there were a few options, leaving the menu for Barbara to choose. For Kory the Virgin Sangria jumped out a little, if Barbara needed a suggestion. Made with black tea and soda water. Mixed with a little cinnamon, sugar, pomegranate juice, orange juice and chopped up pieces of fruit. It was certainly something that could pinch at Kory's taste buds. It was also colourful, perhaps not to cool for winter, but it was certainly a lot warmer in here. It would only get warmer. A smile grew at Kara's compliments of the club. It really was a pumping club. Had a good turn out and it all around had a really nice inviting vibe. After drinks were ordered. It didn't take long before they were ready and Kory paid the man. Taking a long sip from her drink. Between Kara and Barbara it seemed the VIP was a go.
"If we all got our drinks. Lets check it out. We can chill out and catch up a little before the dancing… I trust there will be dancing?"
Kory checked with a glance the drinks were in hand. Barbara certainly was still nervous and unsure, but seemed a go to just roll with it at this point. As Kory pipped up to check out the VIP up stairs. Her covered eyes glancing up. It should defiantly have a good view to truly feel out the place. The tamaranean smiled they could chill out and catch up. Yes, indeed. When was the last time they really hung out? The fact Kory couldn't recall meant it was too long. Kory began to lead them, before pausing with a playful smile at her question. To assure they wanted to dance? Not that they had to, but Kory certainly hoped they were up for it. Even if slow she was sure it will pick up. Kory then continued the minor weave to the staircase on one of the sides of the room. First floor was still open to the non-VIP. Stopped at the next set of stairs, Kory happily mentioned her name. It just happened to be on that list. Eyes certainly strayed to them, but Kory paid little to no attention to it. She was used to it. Certainly wouldn't stop her momentum. Soon arriving in the VIP area. The area had a little more space, but still had a decent amount of people. Enough to keep the buzz going. The music just as pumping.
Hit me Blared now out of the speakers, a destiny's child beat. Uplifting beat. Kory certainly stepped with it as she lead through some of the seating, before finding a couple cosy looking dark couches around a table. It was a little off on its own, to give them a little privacy, but still very much in with the environment. Moments as Kory reached the seating. A waitress came. It wasn't a club with really a dinner menu, but there were finger food available. Kory happily agreed to a sampler of things, just to keep their little stomachs happy. With drink in hand, Kory offered Kara and Barbara to sit, before she would join them on the left couch. With a sip, Kory placed her glass on the table.
"So what do we think? The view is amazing up here! I hope you don't mind I ordered us some finger food."
Turned kindly to Kara and Barbara as Kory asked with a delighted smile. It was also her first time to this club. To this section, so she was just as new to check it out. Gazing through the place, it was by far even more inviting and exciting. Commenting of course the view. They were a couple floors up now, with an open balcony kinda deal. A good view of the club, particularly the dance floor below and the beautiful chandeliers that filled the room. Not long did it take then for the food to arrive. Perhaps even smelling the warm aroma moments earlier, Kory did have a keen sense of smell. As she sweetly piped into the two girls she had ordered the finger food. Got a little bit of everything. As the waitress put the platters down. With some salsa and dip with a decent serving of some corn chips and carrots. A couple coconut shrimp with its own dip. Tiny pastries with cream cheese and salmon. Some frittatas'. Some beef and chicken sliders. Ok, maybe she ordered more than needed, but they certainly were going to help them get into the swing of things. As well as allowing as little or really as much as they needed. Kory happily helped herself to some shrimp and was delicious. Gently tapping her feet to the music and took the time now to take off her sunglasses. People would see, but with so much happening in a night club, it was much easier to just be yourself. Felt certainly more comfortable and certainly didn't need to be hiding from Kara nor Barbara.

Barbara wasn’t exactly used to the amounts of attention and looks that the group of them seemed to acquire within seconds of their arrival. Instinctively, she went to push her glasses up the bridge of her nose only to remember that they were not there and she had traded them for her contacts that evening. Kory seemed to be in her natural environment, reeking of a sexy confidence that Barbara admired. She wasn’t sure why she was allowing herself to worry so much, then again the scene before her was far from the college parties that she was used too. “Alright, Kory. I’ll follow you.” She said with a smile, though she couldn’t help but admit to herself that she didn’t mind a bit of danger that evening. With the drink suggestion, Babs shrugged and nodded in agreement. “Yes, what she said – only not virgin” She smiled sweetly in the direction of the man, making sure to thank him before he turned his back to them. Babs looked from both girls with a smile, keeping her voice low. “What the hell is a mocktail like, fake cocktail? That’s no fun” She asked seriously, though her white smile still illuminated her face.
Barbara waited patiently after her drink was handed to her, being the last one and the only to indulge in something a little bit more risky she sipped it quickly in order to taste it. Kory was right; it was delicious and lit up her face as she took another slightly larger drink. However, she was going to have something much stronger next time. Nodding in agreement to the agenda, Barbara was more than down to catch up a bit and give the liquor a chance to slip into her system before she hit the dance floor. Knowing the liquid courage would loosen her up a little bit, she just had to be extremely careful. Not only was she extremely under aged but she didn’t exactly have that much of a tolerance to begin with. Taking another few small sips of her drink, she followed her friends closely. “I’m pretty much down for anything. Lead the way!” Drink in hand, she didn’t stray too far from them, though paused occasionally as she was stopped. Brushing them off as politely as she could, she quickly regained sight of Kory’s bright hair and Kara’s silky blonde locks which enabled her to quickly catch up.
Ascending a series of stairs, Barbara was surprised how well she was managing in her heels. It seemed as though her numerous experiences as Batgirl complete with the high-heeled knee-high boots were beginning to pay off in regards to her social life. Starting toward a plush couch, she sat down carefully and crossed one of her long, slender legs over the other. “You were right Kory; this was such a good idea. For my first visit to a club, this is certainly an experience. It’s going to be hard to top my second time going out.” Barbara felt like a celebrity, sitting in VIP and being served and waited on at and surrounded by an amazing array of décor. While she knew she shouldn’t let it go to her head, she could certainly get used to this. To think, she had gone through the effort to lie about her location all day only to end up at an exciting place like this. Her heart felt like it was practically beating in time the music as she turned to smile at her companions. “So how have you and Dick been?” She asked casually, taking the initiative to start the conversation.

Kara followed suit of Kory and Barbara. It was nice for once to spend some quality time with her closest friend and her teammate. It was a different situation this time around. They were all undercover of their civilian identities.
And it seemed the both out ranked Kara on this. Kory had the whole supermodel thing going for her. And Barbara...well she was the Commissioner's daughter after all. Who could top that.
And being Supergirl, Kara kept her identity a secret. She was sure she could stir up trouble if she were to walk in there as the Maid of Steel.
"Same goes for you, Kory. Where did you get that outfit," Kara replied.
As they would get their drinks at the table when they were ready, Kara was content with walking along the lower floor for now.
But the chance to be up in the VIP section!! How often did that happen at this hot nightclub?
"I take it being a supermodel has more perks to it when it comes to the nightclubs," Kara said. When people knew your name and face, it was pretty easy to get what ever you wanted.
Kara followed them up the stairs. A smile on her face as she took in the view from the second floor once they settled at their table for now. There would be plenty of time for dancing later.
"I'm sure their food is as amazing as the looks of this place," Kara replied.
At Barbara's questioning of Kory and Dick, Kara couldn't help but hide a smile. She and Roy had been talking quite a bit and sometimes things slipped. That and it was easy to see the connection and tensions between Starfire and Nightwing.

Kory had been born and grew up generally with eyes upon her. Of course it was quite a different reason than why there was possible eyes on her now. Where once it had been purely she was royalty, now it was either because she was an alien, sexy or a freak. Going by case by case. Kory of course took it all in her stride. For all the ways she stood out, she had also been a slave. Denied her freedom, she wasn't just going to sit and twiddle her thumbs. She had a life worth living, as anyone should have the right to do, of course on Earth that being in the realm of law… Of course, it wasn't so bad to bend a rule here or there. Who really could walk such a narrow and straight path. Least if it was done with kindness and a smile of fun. Wasn't that worth it. As Kory certainly caught the beaming smiles of the young fresh faces of her girlfriends. With her mild cheeky look in possibility in getting them to let their hair down, have fun, they were also safer with her. No one was more about fun and protection of friends, than Koriand'r. Kory smiled sweetly as Babs nodded, yet insisted in a non-virgin. Hmmm, now who was the cheeky one… Suppose, one was no harm, though if her legs were gonna get loose, Kory wasn't gonna be far to catch her… Though Kory did peak at how freely and knowingly Babs spoke, virgin.
"Not virgin? X'hal, is there a story I am missing? Were their fireworks like the 4th of july?"
Kory asked with playfully curious look and tousling of her red fiery hair. Not intentionally to make Barbara uncomfortable, but Kory generally was up for a good story and some what pointedly in her questions. She was tamaranean, they naturally didn't do secrets. She generally didn't like being out of the loop, especially regarding her friends. She valued always being connected, despite her being of more humorous in her words right now. Perhaps even Kory could be taken a back at such a young and vibrant woman such as Barbara, maybe Kory shouldn't be totally surprised. When it was good it could be good.. Kory playfully smiled and giggled softly taking a sip of her other more virgin like drink, but she certainly wasn't… Yes, envisioning the raining down of the colourful lights in the sky or their case the nightclub.
"Oh! Gratitudes, Kara… I think Target, Dick took me window shopping!"
Placing her drink down momentarily as Kory thanked Kara kindly for her sweet on her outfit. Her playsuit. As Kory mindfully played a little with the fabric at her shoulders and a little at her upper thighs. It certainly fit her like a glove, whilst leaving there plenty of room to play. From what she could recall, it was Target or something similar as she retailed. Mostly recalled passing a window. They tended to do that from time to time. Well, more often back when she first arrived and was practically new to all things human. Their cloths included. It continued from time to time. As human as Kory could feel, she was still tamaranean and they certainly found the suit remarkably playful… As Barbara spoke again, keeping her voice low and remarking on what a mocktail was, Kory simply smiled in the amusement and ever subtle shake of her head.
"Sort of, they can be quite colourful… I suppose a cocktail can be fun too. Particularly when it comes in black and blue."
Kory said in response of mocktails, playing off the various bright colours in her mind, but cocktails certainly couldn't be knocked off… The last time was probably with.. Donna. Though Kory hardly needed the extra buzz to loosen her up, nor have more fun, but certainly could play around with cocktail in her head. As she laughed innocently and joked harmlessly as her mind playfully thought about it… Spinning around almost on her otherwise slight heels, Kory led the way from the bar and the young ladies just as keen to follow suit. They were certainly here for a good time, a party time. Let down the hair and put a little more sway in those hips. As Kory led through the quite buzzing crowd in the club and through to the VIP. Kept a decent pace, so not to accidentally lose one of them in the crowd, as Kory mindfully kept an eye out or both.
"It certainly doesn't hurt, model or Starfire leasts gets me more than a free trip up Space mountain. Usually..! Doesn't mean I haven't been turned away. It can pay to be kind."
Now, Kory wouldn't exactly call herself a supermodel, but she certainly wasn't going to deny on some of the perks, although she looked at it slightly different. Modelling though not the hardest job in the world, was still a job. A job she very much enjoyed and had fun with. Though of course perks came when she was Starfire, if potentially more so, if you weighed what name was more familiar to the world. As Kory kindly joked with Kara, ever so vibrantly and subtly. Perhaps without model and Starfire, some of the perks could have been helped by the fact Kory was simply comfortable in her stride and not to mention completely kind, but not always did perks come her way. Nor was it always so easy, despite being beautiful to some, she was still an alien in others. A something, rather than a someone, that perhaps didn't fit with them… Right now, wasn't so much the case, a night club such as this saw all varies people. She all but blended in, if that was truly possible with her bright skin and fiery hair. She had a big personality, but never truly in your face. Simply put she was accepting. Most of all a seeker of all things joyful and of course freedom. As the three girls took theirs in their stride to the sitting area up in the rocking VIP area. It was certainly buzzing, though a little more laid out than in the general area. Less crowded, so they could have room to breathe, talk and still soak in the fun. X'hal, Kory was certainly glad to hear Barbara and Kara were certainly soaking it in. Kory bubbly smiled, as she caught their young wide eyes checking the place out. The extra shade of excitement on their cheeks. Reaching out a golden hand to some of the corn chips and salsa. Just that right amount of spice. Oh. Kory motioned her hand to her lips, expressing the burst of wild flavour in her mouth.
"X'hal, so delicious… I'm glad to hear, I know it can be a little difficult sometimes, to find the time for ourselves, doing what we do, but we do deserve a little fun every once in a while… Hmmm, I think we could cheers to that… "
Kory remarked in Kara's words about the food, certainly confirming it was as good if not better than it looked. Not over done, but boy was it certainly enough. As it certainly got her taste buds going and would for the very least offer up the right amount of energy for the rest of the night. Her kind smile certainly grew in her response to Barbara in the idea. The fun. Kory wasn't solely responsible for the choice, but she was certainly someone that knew where the fun was… Ok, maybe she could literally take the fun where ever she went. She was tamaranean after all. They usually knew how to have fun, although as her green eyes now uncovered and wide open. They certainly didn't have this kind of music, earthlings were so amazing in their ways sometimes. Good food and good music. That was just the beginning of what was making this night… Hmmm, hands down it came to the company of course. As Kory sincerely expressed they deserved to take a moment for themselves, otherwise one could go a little stir crazy. Toiling with that, felt certainly an excuse for a toast, but then again just the shear company was worth that. Kory motioned for her sweet fizzy drink and raised it out over the little table. Offering to cling a little with the other glasses, with minor spillage. Before taking that reunited sip. Seal that toast. Kory would express happily with glee. Her attention certainly was raised when Barbara asked and instinctually her thoughts were thrown to Dick. He certainly wasn't bad rush to her head… Hmmm, how have they been? Kory thought for a moment with a soft smile. Though just as Kory was about to answer, she heard a voice calling in her direction and coming over. "Miss Anders, Miss Anders" Came oddly familiar. Followed by asking for her autograph, which Kory happily gave, with a kind smile. It happened from time to time, most often in the NYC than Gotham. As soon as admiring fan came, they soon left the girls in more peace again.
"Apologises for that, but to answer your question. Very well, if not better… Its certainly been hard for Dick, well not just him, but everyone after losing Wonder girl… We're getting there together! There's defiantly been reason to smile again and more… Just got a couple more boxes and he should be officially moved in. Just in time for the summertime… How about you two, got your eyes on anyone?"
Sweetly Kory apologised, before diving into her response. Their relationship was certainly on the positive side these later days. Not that there weren't hiccup or two, but after the huge lumps of them. They were certainly breathing cleaner air now, well figuratively given she technically didn't breathe oxygen. Kory mindfully mentioning Donna, that passing had certainly shaken a lot of things and she was going to always be missed. She had been like a sister. Like family to so many. Whether or not Barbara knew in detail, Kory was sure she was aware or understood. Kory smiled again, when mentioning they certainly more on the mend. Of course Dick would always be the worrying kind and the hard working time, but he had certainly broken into a smile here and there. Of course that was most certainly due after he rescued her and well… Long story short, he was one step closer to officially moving in, as Kory announced, not that it really would change much, he at her place far more than he was ever at his place. Men, can be so confusing sometimes. Kory certainly had the gut feeling there was going to be plenty of sunbathing. With Roy soon out of the house. Let the shoes fly where they may. Was, that the correct saying? Kory was pretty sure it was going to be more than shoes… Ties, most defiantly ties… Whilst Kory thought about it, she wasn't sure if she had heard Barbara was exclusively dating anyone, wasn't she still in uni? Kory thought, before as she asked the two girls, if their were anyone they perhaps were having feelings for. Getting the butterflies. The goosebumps. The weakened knee feeling. Kory found herself swooning often with Dick, she could only hope her friends found such affections. She had no doubt they would. As Kory motioned for more of the food and a little more comfy in her seat. Tapping her foot to the beat. Hmmm, with the growing beat. Perhaps it wouldn't take long before someone was dancing on a table… Oh, scratch that. As Kory giggled joyfully as her eyes escaped at the view below at the dance floor and pointedly people letting loose on a table. Decidedly there for that purpose no doubt. X'hal it was only going to get hotter and soon burning on fire.
Well, it's midnight, damn right, we're wound up too tight...

The star treatment wasn’t exactly something the redhead was familiar with, though it was a great switch from the live that she was used to. Rather than coming home from a long day of school and work, filling out endless scholarships and internships and preparing dinner for her father – it was almost nice to go out dressed in something short and freeing rather than her skin-tight batsuit. Babs could only imagine how exciting Kory’s life was, and she felt that both girls had her beaten in the looks department. As they chatted about fashion, careers and their lives Barbara couldn’t help but smile, they certainly needed to do this more often.
Sampling another of the petite little finger foods that consisted of the spread, her eyes grew wide as she bit into the tasty morsel. Her eyes grew wide and she nodded to show that she agreed with Kara. “Have you tried these ones?” She asked the blonde, “They are absolutely delicious.” Then again, she hadn’t eaten all day and the redhead was practically convinced that she could eat tofu and still feel as though it was a tasty treat.
Raising her glass to support Kory’s toast, she allowed her glass to clink amongst the others before bringing it to her lips. It was surprisingly strong, causing an involuntary shiver to race through the eighteen-year olds body. “Here, here, to a little fun.” Babs managed finally with a smile.
Adjusting the top of her dress as she crossed one of her slender legs over the other, she listened to Kory’s lament, attempting to be sympathy towards their loss. As much as she adored Kory and Dick as a pair, she couldn’t hide the fact that she sorely missed him. However, the question that followed caused Barbara to smile and shake her head. “I don’t have time for a boy. I might be getting accepted for a summer internship with LexCorp, so the preparations have been taking up most of my time. What about you Kara?” She asked, almost devilishly

Kara gave a slight laugh over Kory's reaction to what Barbara had asked for drink wise.
The chat between them all was mildly amusing. Just a bunch of girls out for some fun out on the town. This was the kind of unwinding they needed.
And Kara was enjoy the chance to get away from the bunker a bit as well as the school work.
At Barbara's comment over the food and question, Kara shook her head,"I haven't. But I'm bound to." She gave a smile as she picked up one the the tasty treats on the table and gave it a try.
"These are delicious," she exclaimed as she finished the last bite of the one she had sampled.
As they raised their glasses, Kara held have her strength to try and not break the glass as they did this. It was the smaller motor skills she was still working on with her strength at times.
Kara knew fairly well about what had happened to Donna. Roy had talked to her a bit as well regarding the lose. It seemed a touchy subject for the three of them to talk about. So Kara through it best to let them handle it. Unless they needed someone to talk to.
But she lacked the experience in dealing with people in these ways. As much as she had lost...she didn't understand them as much as they wouldn't understand her. Kory was more closer in ways. But still, it was hard to understand.
Then the conversation changed tides to a more cheerfully subject. If not a bit cheeky in ways.
And by Barbara's tone, Kara knew she was looking for some details on this friend who had not been part of a social circle in recent times. Though, Kara was willing to trust her. Besides this was girls' night. And Barbara was a close friend of her's.
"It's hard to say at time. But yes, I do have my eyes on someone at this time. Though there are days I wonder why in the first place," Kara replied to the two to get them started.

This was certainly a way to enjoy an evening. Vip! Hmmm, mmm! Though really, was this the high life? If you asked Kory, it definitely would be more wings and more sky. Yet, this was certainly…. Not bad! The most enjoyable was the fact the two companions were throughly excited. Kory didn't even have to offer much of a glance to see the endless smirks, smiles and possible wide eyes looking through the brand new sparkly club. It was hardly dance floor in Kory's opinion if there wasn't at least glitter on the floor. Now with sweet drinks in hand and the overly enlarged platters of food. It was a jetting evening. If Kory said so herself. With music beating out, all that was missing was dancing, but that was certainly going to come. That was the main reason Kory even came. Put her anywhere and she was pretty good at getting conversations started and a little endless. Kory added a particular sweet smile at Kara's laugh, it was most surprising to say the least to see Babs drinking such non-virgin drinks. Not that Kory judged, just wondering how little she may know about Barbara. Perhaps it was never too late…. Sipping at her own fizzy drink and putting it back down… Golden fingers entwined a little more at the finger food. Kory was definitely a little peckish, so this was most delightful… Chomping down on some shrimp, sucking her fingers a little as Barbara and Kara remarked over the mini sized food items.
"After a hefty day, they definitely help the cravings! "
Knowingly Kory remarked subtly, not that one could measure one day against another, but there certainly seemed to be some level of similarity. Some understanding. Well, Kory's cravings could be a little more burning for different reasons, but all in meaning… Kory smiled playfully before wrapping her tongue around a spring roll. Crumbled ever so nicely… Earth food was certainly something to enjoy, tamaranean food was much harder to obtain, but all was impossible… Getting a little spinach out of her teeth, before Kory had regained her drink to make the toast. To express more heartedly that this was a very delightful unity they had between the three of them or least was building there. Clinging the glasses with an almost musical sounds as the two ladies took part, with quite delight as Kory noted the smiles… Yep, Kory was already convinced there be a next hang out planned… Well, maybe not planned perfectly… Being you know heroes and all, but nothing was impossible… Never in her tamaranean in mind. If it could be thought of, it more than likely could be done. Taking that cheerful union sip with the two. With a subtle delightful sound of refreshment and replaced her glass down.
"We most definitely will need to do this again…. Maybe next time, a slumber party?"
Delightfully Kory responded as her green eyes shone that extra sparkle, as it sprang a thought. A slumber party. That definitely had her mind churning just that little bit. Pillows and popped corn… That was always a delight, as childlike it maybe… It was far from a tamaranean experience, well apart from the whole joyful emotion. That just was embodied in life. As there was clear thoughts to eventually dance this night away. A little sweet banter. It seemed too long since she had sat down with either girl and just talked about life. Or about boys. As there was little mentioning of Dick… Her eyes traced Barbara lightly…. Kory knew there had been hardships and some sense of forgiveness… Perhaps there was still some hang ups… As she caught almost drifting of Barbara's eyes ever so subtly. Of longing? Kory reached through the space with her golden hand to Barbara's that was closest to Kory. In a suggestion of, its ok! Offering a subtle understanding smile, perhaps Kory couldn't understand all the depths of Barbara's feelings and emotions, but at the base Kory knew emotions, quite well. They were easier for her, than it seemed in humans…. Perhaps that vulnerability made them that more fascinating.
"You miss him? I'd suggest you can call him, but I think we both know Dick's quite bothersome in picking up! Being as busy as he is, then again… You wouldn't imagine the amount of times I've caught him crushed by virtual candy…!"
Asked Kory with sweet care more speaking her mind. Not needing to tumble right into the brink, least open the gates if Barbara was reluctant, yet desired to a degree. Being a little more playfully and sweetly, putting it out there, as Kory had no problems if Barbara did want to call Dick, even visit upon occasion. It wasn't like they lived that far that it was impossible. Then again she could fly, so maybe it seemed shorter of a distance to her… Before she jested, harmlessly of course in relation to the knowledge of Dick being the busy bee that he was. Even on occasion he ignored her calls and everyones calls… As well as sometimes distracted by game playing, of course that was less, but not impossible. Who was overreacting now to Kory downloading candy crush into his Nightwing mark? It like as she said past the time… When of course he ever had the time to spare. To which Kory laughed subtly and openly within the tight, yet highly energised seating area…
I need a doctor 'cause this is startin' to burn…!
Softly Kory mumbled and mouthed the words as the thumping music blared. Least burning, she knew a little something about… Ok, this was a slightly didn't burn… Kory still tapped a little with her golden fingers, taking a little more finger food, whilst listening to Barbara speaking of little time for boys. In reason, Kory was sure. Because if you really wanted something, you only needed to make time for it. Hard, maybe… Not impossible, in her opinion…. Though her eyes lit up a little more emerald glow as Barbara mentioned an internship… Like a job, right? She recalled Donna having an intern once… Hmmm, this was for Lexcorp… Slightly different job…. X'hal! Though with the shear excitement, she also pondered…. Metropolis? She looked a little more longing to Barbara… That would be quite a distance...
"X'hal… That is exciting… We will definitely need to celebrate for that, with all your credibilities I imagine you've given them all the reasons to say yes… Though I wonder, would this take you to Metropolis?"
Sincerely Kory responded to the, news. The good news. Well, here's Kory hoping greatly that Barbara would get the job, call it the positive attitude, with with Barbara's intellect and sweet, strong personality. Who would say no? What little Kory knew of Lexcorp, she probably would be shown the door, even before getting a foot in, but not that she was stereotyping… They just didn't seemed all that high up on heroes, let alone those from outer worlds. Asking as she was curious if Barbara would be going to metropolis? Batgirl in Metropolis, now that would be news… A change…. Before Kory shifted more pointedly to Kara as she responded to Barbara, in relation to having eyes on someone… YES? Kory smiled curiously… Was this someone here? As Kory found herself mindfully without being to rude, looked around the seating area… Even trying to take a peak over the balcony railing… Perhaps Roy was right, she did seem a little distracted… Little did she know, he was probably throwing her off… She's sweet and kind, but she can be unintentionally nosy. Pick up things better than others… Dick was a great detective on the field, but she was far better in detecting more personal matters of the heart…
"Is that someone, here? What's he or she look like? Oh, is it him? He's cute… Why…? Sometimes, the heart wants what the heart wants… And sometimes, not always just the heart… Have you ever had these kinds of feelings before?"
With curious eyes over the young kryptonian, questioning. In case this was on of those times she was doing the cryptic thing. Looking continually around the room, she be quite delighted to meet them, even ask this someone to join them, if they were here… It would only be kind. Smiling innocently, asking perhaps what this person looked like or any detail Kara could give, if she was playing coy on details. Pointing a little a cute young looking man a few tables down with eyes on their table… Was it him? Was this someone Kara liked, going both ways? Though of course Kory remained calm, but hell she throughly enjoyed seeing others happy. More pointedly seeing other make others happy… As Kory hang on Kara asking why… Why did they need to ask why? She smiled and shook her eyes ever so slightly. It was cute. It did really somewhat just come down to the heart or in more details the emotions getting carried away and in some cases literally. As Kory playfully wavered a brow… Hmmm, yeah. It was often different for others, but her… And Dick, it was definitely passion… For her more pointedly unmistakable. What she felt, she knew to be the truth, why hide or disguise herself? Kindly Kory asked curiously if this was Kara's first time to feel like this before. Being as young as she was, Kory was hardly surprised if she was this unsure about most of it, if not life outside of the hero world. The structure!

“Oh! A slumber party sounds awesome! I’ll make brownies!” The redhead volunteered excitedly. A majority of her time was spent around boys and it was a relief to spend some time around females for once. These women were not your typically everyday women either; they all shared one major secret. However, Babs was well aware that she didn’t have a lot of the abilities that these two possessed, but she didn’t count herself short because of it. With that, she took another sip of her strong and fruity drink.
She smiled at Kory’s suggestion and nodded. “You are right; it’s really my fault that we haven’t kept in touch. I should give him a call.” She stated simply so the topic would drop. Not that she was bothered or anything, but it felt weird and was sure to kill her buzz if she dwelled on it too much.
Thank goodness for technology. Her familiarity with computers helped her a great deal in everyday life and while she did strive for justice, she felt as though a fake ID was simply engaging in a bit of harmless fun. Besides, she was in college with one degree under her belt and about to partake in one of the more amazing internships of her life at the mere age of nineteen. If that didn’t call for a glass-raising celebratory drink Babs didn’t know what did. She blushed slightly at Kory’s praise. “I don’t know honestly. I think it’s going to take me everywhere. He’s already requested I get a passport if I am accepted. I am so excited!”
However, right now her intentions seemed to be on Kara. Who was she talking to and why was Babs one of the last to find out. Babs had teamed up with the blonde bombshell on numerous occasions. It was almost comical to see the public’s reaction when the two arrived on the scene and how the press automatically deemed them as close friends because of their cooperation. She did value her friendship with the girl and it was hard to hide the appalled look from her face when she found herself unfamiliar with this news.
