Gotham City seemed like a fun town in the moonlight. Now if only to start some trouble. A black cape rustled in the night wind looking down at the rooftops. The silver S on the young lady's chest gleamed in the moonlight. Evil Kara was out for a night on the town. She needed to find away to bring down Superman. She could attack him straight on and defeat him easily. But that little club of his would stand in her way. So a few distractions were in order to be formed. The biggest threats were Wonder Woman, Batman, and Green Lantern. Though there was still Green Arrow it seemed. But him and Batman the same were simply humans. She could deal with them easily. But Batman posed a threat with the Kryptonite and his strategies. He need a few distractions in his town. As for Supergirl. She was no problem with her. Evil Kara could handle her with ease. But it was more of a clash of the titans. Evil Kara floated above the city for a bit. Then landing in an alley. Spinning fast with her super speed, she was able change into what these humans called street cloths. Close fitting leather was the way for her. The pants were leather with long knee high heeled boots. A black and red tank top to go with it. She let her long blond hair hang as she walked toward the street. The dark alley hiding her as she walked. She could turn right back to Supergirl when ever she wanted. Her eyes gleamed with the mischief she could cause tonight. Maybe if she had time during the day she could put her plan to use. But she'd have to get Kara out of the way unnoticed to be able to get close to Kal-El.

There's more than one woman enjoying the moonlit skies over Gotham this night, though one of them can't be seen. Able to make herself entirely invisible when she wishes to be, Dionisia drifts aimlessly above the buildings much like a swimmer might drift across a pool while floating on some inflatable device. The bright lights of the city below don't attract much of her interest - while Gotham may be known for its exciting nightlife, in her current form she's merely able to observe and not participate. As least, not without causing massive panic.
And while terrorizing people was amusing the first time and the second, eventually it got boring and started to seem rather childish to her. Not to mention attracting the attention of ghost hunters. And while most people of that profession are frauds, the few legitimate ones can be problematic. No, it's better if she keeps any haunting of mortals pretty quiet. And as she doesn't have plans to do even that much tonight, instead she's watching the sky and letting her mind drift into deep thoughts.
At least until a flicker of movement attracts her attention. Something in the air - too large to be a bird, too small to be a plane. No, it appears to be one of those flying superheros. She's not very overly familiar with them - she knows what they call themselves thanks to the news, but she hasn't paid them that much attention. By day she's an 'innocent civilian' and thus has no need to worry about them, while at night she changes into a form able to crush a majority of them without too much trouble. Most of what she'd need to fear is anything that's magical in nature, and while she's heard that a few of them use that power, most don't seem to.
Then again, a part of it is that she's been living in Gotham, home to vigilantes who don't have a remarkable bone in their body. Even easier to take care of, though as it's just as easy to avoid them she prefers that. They'd have an extremely difficult time getting in her way, so why bother thinking about them at all?
This time, however, she decides to follow. While she's not sure of the physics with which the Supers operate, she's not sensing anything of magic coming off the young woman so she's probably safe to assume that this is one of the ones she doesn't have to worry about at all. But rather than wasting time and energy flying over there, she simply teleports into the alleyway. And she's just in time to see the clothing change - one that she's hardly impressed with. What young people wear these days is disturbing. Terrible, even! She'd like to think that in spite of her many centuries of existence she's been able to keep up with the trends, but this?
Her disembodied laugh suddenly breaks the silence in the alleyway, the echoing distance of her voice probably seeming to come from nowhere as she's still invisible even to someone with enhanced eyesight. Yet the keen hearing of the particular young woman she's following might help pinpoint her location as being about a story up in the air, well away from any hiding spots the more visible might try. "That's a nice trick. Though I personally would have chosen something more tasteful to change into. And out of," she comments before laughing again.

Kara was walking down the alley way. Just making her way to the dark end of town. She knew what trouble she could cause on her own. But this would be more fun to watch some trouble as well. She then heard the sound of someone laughing. It wasn't the normal sound of a human, she knew that right away. Her super hearing picked up on the voice. There was no sound of anyone around, nor sight. Just that one laugh. Staying on her toes now, she knew someone was around. Normally Kara would ignore it and be on her way. But she had an odd feeling about this scene. And this wasn't the normal Kara. Instead of carrying on though....Kara decided to follow the voice. It was coming from over her. Getting back into the alley a bit in the dark, she floated up into the air. Hearing the comment clear as a bell. "I wasn't going for tasteful. More reckless and not caring," she said. Her tone showing no irritation in it. It would take a lot more than just snide comments to get her blood pumping and her eyes burning. She could care less what people thought of her. She wasn't here to make impressions. Just to start trouble. "Care to show yourself? What have you decided to go around the town in," Kara added, looking in the direction of the voice. Though she could not see anyone there.

As she watches the girl react to her laugh, Dionisia can't help but be further amused. People always turn and look right through her on the first try as long as they heard her clearly - the ears are quite good at pinpointing the direction a sound comes from. But then their eyes always shift about for a moment, certain that their ears were mistaken and looking for her elsewhere even though they had it right the first time. For whatever reason, they always trust their eyes more than their ears even though the ears are the better sense in this case.
Though it seems that this one is fairly quick to realize this, and Dionisia can't help but note the sheer accuracy of the girl's hearing as she joins her in the air. As she strongly doubts that she's been seen, she can't help but be impressed that the girl stops at a point in the air that seems to indicate an awareness of exactly where she is. Hmm, perhaps she should raise the difficulty then?
Silently teleporting herself again, Dionisia positions herself on the ground directly below where she was before to say, "Well, if you don't care if you're mistaken for a dominatrix or prostitute I suppose that's your business..." She does note, however, that she doesn't seem to be angering the girl. It wasn't really the goal to make her angry, actually - it was more to see what the reaction would be. Then again, just because she's seen that the Super isn't going to be easily angered doesn't mean that she's not going to keep making such statements. Perhaps she's curious to see if the girl will eventually lose her temper? Or perhaps she's simply bored and saying such things amuses her whether the target of them reacts or not? Even Dionisia doesn't know for sure.
Though when she's asked to show herself, her mood abruptly changes. She teleports again, this time placing herself directly behind the girl. "Are you sure you want to see me?" she asks, her voice suddenly quiet and low, with a hint of menace behind it. At the same time she reaches out to rub a finger down the girl's back. Having not made herself solid - which would be an extremely stupid thing to do in the presence of a Super, even if she's invisible - her finger can't be felt but the chill of its passage can. Literally making someone's spine tingle may be the oldest trick in the book for a ghost, but that's because it works.
Yet the moment she's done that, she teleports to a spot above the girl and remains silent. While she can be fairly certain that she can't be touched by this girl, she is dealing with something she doesn't know everything about so it's only prudent to take some precautions until she's completely sure. Besides, it's not like she needs to put on a show of absolute confidence and bravery when the girl can't even see that she's taking precautions.

The voice came out once again, clear as a bell to Kara. This time it's location was now on the ground. Her line of vision focused in on where the voice was coming from. And from her view...there was still no one there. A voice without a figure to show for itself. That was rather interesting. She must be dealing with another type of meta. Kara knew from experiences through good Kara's memories. She could use those as much as she wanted. But often looking back at that sickened her. Too much goodie goodie for her to stand. But the voice, it did not have any sign of fear of her. Why should it at this point? The voice was heard but not seen. "Does it look like I care what other people think," she replied. Relaxed, she crossed her arms. Her ice blue eyes watched the area like a hawk from where she remained in flight. No point in coming down if things got interesting. Besides, soon enough the voice had made it's way back up to her. A chill was sent down her spine as the words were spoke. She knew the other figure was with her at that time. It wasn't easy to give a Super a chill, but this was supernatural. Kara lingered there for moment letting the silence settle once again. "Yes, I'd like to see who it is that is haunting me right now," Kara spoke.

"No, but my point is that you should," Dionisia replies easily. What people think is important, after all. Wear the right clothing and you can mold their opinion of you into exactly what you want it to be. But if you wear the wrong thing... well, you can usually overcome it anyway, but you make things harder for yourself. And she personally can't imagine an activity that what the girl's wearing wouldn't hurt aside from the ones she listed.
But the comments on the clothing are merely an aside to what she's actually doing - testing the girl: seeing what she's made of in more ways than one. She especially notes that while the Super seems able to quickly and easily tell where her voice is coming from, she did not attempt to strike behind her while Dionisia was there. That's an important point - a sign of bravery, self-control, and good sense all packaged into one absent action. And foolishness too, but she actually prefers it when others are foolish - it makes things easier for her personally, even if it's aggravating sometimes.
She also notes the choice of words the girl uses when she replies. 'Haunting'? So it seems the Super has correctly guessed her nature. That can be a slight worry at times, but overall she's not concerned about that. Few people know how to do anything to a ghost, after all, and even fewer are actually capable of it. And given her great age and experience, she can usually get the best of anyone who isn't actually very good at doing anything to a ghost. Those people she simply tries to avoid, but they're rare enough that she doesn't worry too much about them.
Before speaking she teleports again, this time about arm's length away to the right of the girl. "Oh, I'm sure that you do!" she says with a laugh, her voice calm once again. Abruptly switching over to the left she adds, "Trouble is, I see no reason to show you..." There are a few risks associated with making herself visible, after all. They are few and small, but they do exist - mostly when it comes to being identified. But not because she's worried about what anyone would say about a ghost looking like a certain woman named Aria Lloyd - that would be ridiculously easy to explain away. No, it's more the risk of someone being able to connect her to her actions in the past and figuring out a way to use it against her. But as long as she remains unseen, how is anyone to know one ghost from another?

Kara could hear the voice off to her left. She made no sudden movements to follow it. There was no point. The figure moved fast and she couldn't see it. Hearing was a good thing, but seeing made it easier to target someone. It was unwise to strike when blinded. Kara knew better. To wait it out. Much like a game of chess going on. Waiting for the opponents move. The voice then was to her left. Kara once again stayed and listened. "You have a good mind not to," Kara said. "Though, what am I but a teen with super powers."A slight smirk was on her face as she spoke. She was in no rush to start a fight. And this was not the time. She couldn't give away her position. Or at least give notice as to what city she was in. The League would find the clues if she did. Kara had been on the run from the League as well as her Good self.

This time Dionisia moves herself back to where she'd started - directly in front of the hovering girl at an easy speaking distance. She's learned what she can from the reactions to her movements by now, and perhaps she'll learn a bit more by staying put. And this position is so conventional when you're speaking to someone for a reason - it allows one to comfortably view who you're speaking to from the best vantage point. Assuming that you're talking to someone you can see, anyway - if you can't then the position is simply a matter of habit.
"A person with terrible taste in clothing, but we've already covered that," she responds, sounding amused and unable to help but make another jab. "Better question: what is a teenager with super powers doing in Gotham? Insanity tends to be more the rage here..." she comments idly, her tone indicating simple curiosity.
She has no idea if the girl will be any more open to answering questions than she is, but on the other hand she has an advantage: if the girl chooses not to answer, she suspects that it wouldn't be too difficult to simply follow her around and find out for herself if she decides that she's really that curious. While she has no idea how fast a Super can fly, she's never heard of them teleporting and logic seems to dictate that teleporting would be faster. Therefore the only limitation for Dionisia is if the chase either lasts too long or ventures into the daylight - something that she can't do. But that's an odd limitation for a ghost to have, so she doubts that the girl would think of it as a way to lose her. Especially since if she did decide to follow the Super, she knows how to be rather tricky about it.

Kara stood there, waiting for more questioning. Though it was on both ends considering she couldn't see the ghost figure and the comments she made were leading to question. Kara wasn't dense, she knew what to expect from others. This was the half of Kara that knew how to use her powers to their fullest. As well as what her purpose was, so she was could get straight to the point of all this. "Simple. Creating a distraction for Superman second strongest on the League. The Batman has the brains to figure these things out in a matter of minutes. So I need to have a distraction to last longer," Kara replied. It was that easy to get the information out of her. One might wonder if the girl was speaking the truth. That was all in fun for Kara. Leave the other questioning it all. Though, Kara had nothing to hide. She hadn't said how the distraction was going to work. And she didn't say about the final...To finish off Superman. Whether the woman believed her or not, it was all up to her.

Mildly surprised but pleased that the girl is willing to simply answer her question, Dionisia can't help but be somewhat surprised by what it is. "You mean that you're not on their side? Interesting..." she asks, sounding amused by that. Of course it occurs to her that she may be being lied to, but then again she doesn't see what the advantage of doing so would be unless the Super is trying to determine where her own loyalties lie.
Though if that's the case, she's confident enough in herself now to simply say so. "As it happens, I can't say that I'm fond of either. But why should I worry about people who are completely irrelevant to anything that I do?" she asks rhetorically. Because as long as neither man is even aware that there's a ghost in Gotham, their attempts to fight crime will have no bearing on her. And even if they did, the odds that they'd manage to get in her way very much are very small.

"Suppose not if I am causing some trouble," Kara gave a smirk at her own words. Still she wasn't going to say she was after Superman. One step at a time. And right now the step to find those willing to help cause more chaos in Gotham was her focus. Kara knew more about why she was here on earth than the good Kara did. This was her true form. At least to her it was. To the other Kara it was all a lie, just the split the Kryptonite caused. All the history she remembered from their home planet was more vivid than that of good Kara. "Are you content to just float around. Ghosting in the world, only watching those around you," Kara asked the non-existing figure before her. It seemed crazy, but with the answers an conversation it was worth the moment to try. To anyone else they might have given up. But with her super hearing, it made it easier to focus on where the 'ghost' was. "I'm looking for a little help with all this. After all, I'm just a super. Batman knows my weaknesses, but doesn't know I'm here. What better way to get others to do the work for you or get it started at least," she said. A smile came to her face. It wasn't that she couldn't do it. There was more to her plans than what she was saying. But she was lightly offering the chance for someone to join in on the fun.

"Of course not," Dionisia replies easily, "Merely floating around gets boring after a day or two - I've been around for centuries." But will she say what she does to keep herself entertained instead? Absolutely not! That would be just asking to have someone try and stop her - if not this girl, then someone else.
Especially since her... hobbies as a ghost aren't exactly normal among other ghosts. They get so concerned about each other and the other supernatural beings lurking around, and practically ignore the mortal world. She, on the other hand, greatly prefers to spend all her time and energy on mortal happenings while ignoring the others - probably because she actually lives in the mortal world herself half the time.
She laughs lightly as the Super explains that she's looking for help, commenting, "Delegation is always a wise strategy in anything. Though if you're telling me this because you hope for my help, which I could certainly provide, there is one very important question that I have to ask: What's in it for me?" Her tone abruptly gets more serious as she adds, "I'm not a ghost who gets her jollies by tormenting the living - I expect my efforts to be rewarded."

"One might wonder, how many," Kara said. The last part going up in tone or interest. Just a bit of curiosity from an alien to a ghost.
It wasn't often came across a real ghost. To this point, she might not believe it. For all she knew it may be a meta.
All those stories the humans had. What a laugh they could be. So weak and easy to fool. Kara could crush them easily. But she wasn't here for that. She was sent to earth with another mission. The very opposite of what the other Kara thought of course.
Everything was working out as planned so far. The seed of doubt growing the the good Kara's mind over her identity.
"You name it, and I can get it. I'm Supergirl after all," she said as a wicked little smirk came to her face on that matter.
No human was a match for her. And she could out power most of the Leaguers.

The girl's curious statement causes Dionisia to laugh and comment, "Isn't it still considered impolite to ask a woman's age?" But, seeing no reason why she shouldn't say just how long she's been around, she adds, "But it's six." Her history starts far back in the past, when the middle ages were just beginning to fade into the renaissance. Of course, like anyone, the longer she lives the more the memories of the past fade but she's hardly forgotten everything about her early life. Even though she has upon occasion needed to jog her memory by reading a history book.
The girl's offer only prompts a somewhat contemptuous laugh, "Oh please, I have little interest in material possessions. And if I did, don't suppose that you'd be any better at acquiring them than I would. You may be strong, but you can't walk through walls - at least not without damaging it. No, if you wish to tempt my participation, the reward would have to be much more interesting." Two can play the game of being extremely arrogant about their abilities, after all.

"I thought that applied more to when men ask," Kara replied.
She was happy to get an answer from the ghost though. She was content to be on good terms at the moment. But she could easily snap if for her own safety.
Between the two of them, it seemed there were some similar grounds that peaked their interest. Well, maybe more for one than the other. It was all a matter of playing your cards right.
"Well, with one helping the other....we can take care of two problems in two cities," Kara replied.
The idea of Batman. She wondered how this would sit with the ghost. Was she for or against the vigilantes in the town. Now was the time to find out.
"So is there a vigilante problem in this town that needs to be handled? I've got my bigger problem to deal with. But these two can go hand in hand at times," she started in.
Just trying to draw some interest. And some information to help her cause to find this ghost's price.
