It had begun midday. In which mostly Kory had come to sunbath in a white bikini upon the sandy beaches of a remote island. A very familiar remote island at that. This was perhaps the first will place spent on earth all that years ago. The ship she had travelled in form her starship had crashed here, just a few walks from where she had been resting. Just taking some extra time to collect her strength back. This was a good place to do that. It was harder doing it in the freezing cold of Gotham, more so after the damaging attack of Scarecrow. It was rough, but Kory was growing bit by bit more orange. The quiet was also nice, after having so much telling her what to do and not to do. Kory had to shake it off. That was when the less expected thing happened. An explosion? Ocean water spurting out some distance. Before she saw shadows of some machine, a sub? Kory had gotten to her feet at this point. Flying above. Just spotting the sub jetting off, but saw something… No someone… Kory dove into the ocean. Swimming down until her hand grasped his jacket. He was out of it. Kory pulled him and herself out of the water. As she glimpsed him, her heart half stopped.. It couldn't be.
Soon taking him to the beach. Upon the sand. She put the man down and inspected his features. His pulse ever so lightly. There were wounds, nasty ones at that she could tell. What had just happened to him? But mostly… No… For some time she had thought it was Dick. Coming to find her. Smiling softly, he had the same softness in his eyes. A lot of things similar. Kory hadn't the oxygen to help and by the looks. He needed more than that. Kory picked him up and took him to her little hut she had built. Placed him upon the bed of leaves and foliage. Kory had stripped him of his clothes. Treated his wounds and bound up his banged up arm. Brought in a little machine from her spaceship and hooked it to one of his veins. To allow oxygen or perhaps it was fluids. It remains to be seen, but it was helping to bring the colours to his cheeks. As he laid upon her bed beside the window with the view of the beach and ocean just out side. He needed to rest. So Kory did that for the next few days, besides treating his wounds and making him more comfortable to get better.
"How is the patient, conscious yet?"
Kory spoke the sweet words from her lips, as she walked the path and at the entrance of where he laid. Carrying a bowl with water upon her hand which she warmed up from her heat, to help sooth him and keep him a little clean. Dressed in very little, some white fabric she had managed into a small top and purple bikini bottoms. Kory took a seat beside the young man she had saved and was now treating. It was still the question. Who was he exactly. With everything that had happened with her mind, it was a little getting used to everything now and something about his face seemed familiar. With a cloth she soaked in the water and pressed it gently upon his forehead. Between at a point her fingers brushed at his hair. Muttering he was familiar, as he reminded her of times once lived, but he wasn't him. He wasn't Dick. Still he was familiar. Kory wished she could pin point that down. Just as she listened to the calming sounds as he slept, it was very sweet and comforting. There was something about him she was just drawn to.

It all happened so quickly. The sub, the nukes, the explosion. His mind was teetering back and forth as he was unconscious. He did not feel a thing when the sub exploded other than his last memory was trying to reach the top and avoid explosion radius. Was hea dead, or was he alive. At this point he was not sure.
He had taken leave from gotham, to track down other leads. He head gotten intel about a bunch of smugglers around Miami trying to smuggle nukes in. If anyone got a hold of those, it would be a bad day, for everyone. Not just good or bad, everyone. He had to stop this before they were delivered. But then he heard something, as if from a memory. Or a dream, long since past.
He was awake, and had been for a day now. He opened an eye, from time to time, noticing his surroundings, and scents as well. He was somewhere tropical, near the coast. He could smell the salt in the air. He saw the leaves that made a makeshift window as wwell as planks of wood that made a splint for his broken arm. However something not of the norm was there as well. It looked like an alien device of some sort. He qwas not sure who or what had got him, but this could be a good thing or a bad thing for him. He was not sure so when this alien, who appeared to have large breasts, and a excellent figure, with green eyes, he determined that he must have been captured by an alien. Just by looking and observing her actions, he could make the safe call and say he was ok. But bruce had always taught him to never assume you are safe, even in your own home.
But he saw his moment to strike, shortly after she had asked if he was conscious yet. Proceeding to grabbing one of his pistols, he held the gun at point blank range, on the aliens throat. "Who are you, where am i, and why'd you save me?" said Jason todd, as he held the gun still and firm, demanding answers.

The waves crashed like a soothing sound, just out side the window and the sounds of birds. The rattling of the curtains from the mild sea breeze. There was no one else here. Until this rather handsome young man had fallen in her wake, Kory had been alone here. Resting herself. After taking those last steps into the undercover just across from her ship. Kory sat beside her patient. There was a little more colour to his cheek. That was a good sign. Then just as Kory made more attempts to touch him, he more than came awake. Eyes open and Kory felt the chill of the metal. His gun aimed at her throat. Dropping the bowl from her hands, lightly raised her hands in a mild show of surrender and then came his questions. The rapid demand in his tone. This wasn't good for him, not after not having moved for a few days. Her green eyes now saw clearer into his blue eyes, he didn't know her anymore than she was trying to place him.
"Please… You're only exhausting yourself… I am Koriand'r, Princess of Tamaran."
There was the shear gentleness and kindness, her caring nature as she hushed him with her words. His frustration had been plain to see. Her right orange hand out at him now reached at a gentle hold at his arm. To help ease him back to being comfortable. With a simple smile as Kory offered him her name. Her real name. Along with having been born with the title of princess. It was only proper to tell him exactly who she was and where she was born. Just as the words formed, she pressed against his gun at her throat. With little to fear from it. As more of her orange flesh touched it, with little effort and radiated her heat just enough. It was understandable his reaction, he didn't know whether to trust her, but Kory knew he could. With now both hands to place upon his arms, Kory aimed to help lay him back down to a more comfortable position. Leaning in close to do it, finding her eyes barely escaping his, but checked the wrapping around his broken arm. Fingers trailing up across it, not to cause a great deal of comfort, but to inspect it. It seemed in better shape now. Kory wasn't in the know how as a human was, especially in treating someone, so it was a little more tamaranean style, but it was affective, mostly helped because she knew what she was doing.
"You're on an island, don't worry your safe here. No one knows… You were worth saving… Please rest. How do you feel?"
That seemed simply enough to tell him, going into great detail would probably be too much, but it was just a small island a few good miles from any coast. Assuring him with a smile that no one knew. It was safe here. Safe from the rest of world for the both of them really. Her place to hide out in really. To feel that little touch of home of Tamaran, that only this place seemed to fill. There was a pause in her words as he questioned why. Kory had sat back up, looked over him curiously. There only seemed to be one answer to that and to be honest she hadn't really thought about to save him or not to save him. Kory just did it. It seemed the right thing to do and as she spoke. Looking upon him Kory still felt it was the right thing. No regrets. He deserved this life and he just happened to fall just off her beach, it was meant to be. There was the added smile as if it had been a joy for her to do it, not at all a burden. In fact the company. It was new and possibly exciting. Taking back the bowl and soaking the cloth again. Kory's hand moved to clean his chest a little as she spoke up softly. Asking how he was feeling. If he was getting back to reality or if it all was still spinning. Of course not trying to ask to many questions. Just with what he was comfortable with.

The woman introduced herself. Koriand'r, Princess of Tamaran. It had a nice ring to it, especially considering that they were on an island together. Alone. His gun had been withdrawn, because he felt he could truly trust her now, seeing as how if she wanted to kill him, she probably could have with ease. He did not know what he was going against, so best to try peace before blowing a .38 shell into his possible allies head.
The scene in itself was very serene and quiet, reminding him of the many times bruce got him to meditate, and somewhat when he did this with the all caste back in inida. But this time, he was living it, and there was a rather hot Alien in front of him. He was not complaining but him lying in a bed naked, against someone that obviously had some good strength on her, considering he must have been two miles deep in the ocean with that sub.
He was told that he was on an island, probably around cuba, considering he was about a few miles off the coast of miami. "I feel like ive just been jettisoned out of a sub." said Jason rubbing his head and arm that was clearly in a sling. He debated on it and he said "The name is Jason Todd." said Jason as he leaned up, resting his back on the makeshift bed. He was still debating telling this girl his entire life story, but he would wait on it, considering that the just met a few days ago, and it would be mighty rude of him to splat out everything. After all, anyone would get freaked out about a man that had died once and was brought back. He'd seen enough cartoons, and movies where that happened. Then, they usually try to kill him again. That was not going to happen. "So princess, i suppose i should thank you for saving my hide back there. Must have some incredible talents iif you can rescue a drowning man two miles deep in the ocean, that weight 150 lbs plus." said Jason as he set his pistol back on a nearby desk. His outfit was probably torn to shreds. His mask, he definatley knew was outta here. It did not matter, he had a safe house in miami, where he could easily undergo his alter ego.

The light in this young man's eyes changed once she had spoken her name. As little it probably made sense, it wasn't the most troubling thing he had heard. Least it seemed by the reaction. There had been little ill manner towards the actions that had driven his gun to her throat. It barely tickled if nothing else, but as moments before her skin could melt the tip. He restrained from it completely. Kory couldn't help glow just that tiny bit, the hint of trust, but Kory had little reason if any not to trust him. As she sat beside she calmly rested her elbow to her knee. Her fingers playful at her chin and was somehow content in watching him. There was something fascinating. More than she had come to see when she had watched him over the days with his eyes closed, but now he spoke. His eyes had that warm touch. As he began to shed words again, Kory listened intently, with her red hair falling in and around her shoulders.
"What's a Jettison?"
Kory asked curiously with great interest. Mostly she understood it was a bad thing as Kory watched him rub his head and his arm. With a simple trace of her eyes and twitch of her lips, she knew it was still painful for him. It probably be for a little while longer, but Kory was sure the worst was over. Least for now. WIth a life like theirs, things like this were bound to happen, more so to a human, but there were ways to get to someone like her as well. Kory was just trained to take them out before that happened, so far she was still here. So was he. That counted for something. Sitting back herself as he then introduced himself and Kory smiled kindly to him, before reaching out a hand, to his better hand of course.
"Greetings Jason… You can of course just call me Kory, I don't mind and you seem nice… Familiar… You were younger then… Smaller as well…"
His name fell just as nicely upon her tongue. Jason Todd. Kory thought over as she intently motioned to shake his hand. As if a bond was just at the brink and it seemed only right to offer him to call her Kory. That was what her friends usually called. From the looks there was little harm and she could recall him. Vaguely, given she had never really properly met him before, save a long long time ago when he was a child and she had knocked on the mansion door, but she had no way of knowing it was him at the time. Just a boy. It wasn't until Kory had returned from Tamaran that Jason was already missing. She had heard his name and heard opinions about him, but frankly he was all but new to her. As Kory delightedly remarked how he was familiar, her eyes had then scanned his body, but barely noting the fact he was naked. By this point she had seen his body enough times, all of him. Referring to his size because he was just a boy then, but he was unlike the boy, Dick had exactly described to her. Though of course it would very un-tamaranean to see him as something that he wasn't. Who ever he was, it mattered little in comparison to who he was before her. Now.
"It was my pleasure to save your grabnack, it is very beautiful… You were like carrying a pillow filled with feathers… It wasn't really talents, their natural traits of tamaraneans. Apart from my starbolts… Were you hungry? Thirsty? "
With a simple and pleasant nod of her head. Responded happily to his gratitude and what she assumed he was meaning. Was saving his behind and which her cheeks glowed. Politely complimenting him and it was certainly not a waste of her time. It needed to be done. He needed to be saved and Kory wanted to save him. Kory laughed softly as he mentioned his weight as if he was trying to convince her and reached a hand to his stomach. Lightly rubbing it as she mentioned how he wasn't heavy at all. Before sitting back again referring to her flight and strength abilities, they were natural for her kind. Only real trait that was uncommon, but she hadn't used it in rescuing him. Was her starbolts. As her eyes went to her right hand as glowed a pink energy mass at her palm, before her eyes, aimed it and shot it out the window. Bouncing over the near sandy beach. They were practically apart of her now. The energy that had been created and put inside her, felt natural. It was meant to be there, despite how dangerous many may see it to be. Kory then asked if he was hungry. It had been days since he'd actually really eaten anything, apart from what she had fed him through the tube, but it wasn't the same. Wondering when it was safe enough time for him to start walking, she could show him her home. Her ship, it was a little more spacious in there and probably in need of a proper bath. Apart from the little washing of his body Kory had attended to while he was sleeping, but not to a full extent.

So it was true, she was indeed an alien. It was not too uncommon for him at this point but being saved never happened. When she asked the question of what is a jettison jason smiled and said "Exiting something at a high rate of speed. Kinda like a bullet being fired out of a gun." said Jason as he simply smiled and shook her hand. "That'll work Kory, Koraindir is too long of a name to remember anyhow." said Jason as he smiled a little and went back to his scenario.
But something raised of the question of when he was younger and smaller. Had she seen him before his death? He did not remember her at all and most of the time, he had a pretty clear memory, in all aspects. Guaranteed the first few days after his death were a blur, and the first moments being alive were as well, but he does not remember her in any aspect. "What do you mean, smaller and younger?" jason asked as he cocked one eyebrow.
Jason held this pose for a little while longer about her carrying him by his grabnack, and he did not want to know. But when she did mention about being light as feathers and that was only one of the abilities of a tameranean, he was indeed intrigued. He was wondering if having an allie like her would be worth it, a princess though with these kind of talents might not use them as much. Unless if she was a warrior princess, THEN that would be very much useful in his plight. "I've never heard of you, or tameran. Please do explain more" said Jason as he used his perhiphial vision to try and escape. Then she had asked if he was hungry or thirsty. Obviously she didnt want to kill him, so he nodded to some food and drink.

From the day she had saved him to this moment. The moment right now. Kory already liked the extra company, even if she barely knew him, but he was worth knowing. Most importantly he was worth saving. Not to mention he was quite cute. There was something warm about him and it wasn't just down to the fact he was familiar. As much as he was familiar he also wasn't. Not to the extent. There was something different. He was different. Kory smiled at the thought with ever the delight to know him better. To know the man that laid so peacefully with her along on her island. Kory looked intently taking in what he had said, well she could be guilty for being out of this world and would happily put her hand up. Kory giggled a little at what he described what jettison meant, in and around him being saved. Before her bubbly self contained a soft laughter to best attain to his hand shaking her hand. Taking the warmness of his smile. Having that feeling she liked him, she was yet to be proven wrong and everyone is deserving of that chance.
"Or in you're case like a shooting star than a bullet. I'm a little bit faster."
Amusingly Kory responded with the finishing of the warm greeting and casually took her hand. Smiled as Kory recalled, well at least the save a little differently and even had her little extra glow in her eyes, because well she quite literally a living embodiment of a star. Least more so than a bullet as Kory added with the little bit with her fingers. Not that she was faster than bullet like another well known alien. Kory wasn't kryptonian, she was made up of pure energy and emotions. Soon which her emotions bubbled up in a little more soft laughs at Jason talking about her name or least trying to say it. Well, Kory glowed it was mighty cute of him.
"You're funny! Can I call you Jason? I like Jason."
There was little way around it. Kory simply spoke her mind and out loud, what was the point of hiding it. Kory remarked rather joyfully and comfortably beside him. Her green eyes looked over him and he was so interesting. Kory was wondering what he was thinking, but Kory could feel there was a lot there. Perhaps more so than others may see, but some humans don't really take enough time to really say Hello and mean it. Before Kory asked him kindly if she could call him Jason, unless he preferred Jason Todd or Mr Todd. She found herself smiling as she asked. Hearing the sound of his name. It was well suited and Kory very much liked it. Jason. As Kory could faintly recall. It was a faint moment and she wasn't as good at recalling the past so easily, depending on what it is of course. Everything else Kory had just been an ear to mostly. Smiling sweetly as Jason questioned.
"It was only briefly at Wayne Mansion you opened the door to me, I believe you were becoming or just became the new Boy Wonder. I mostly remember you being cute and small… Oh, I wanted to ask… Who's he?"
Kory simply recalled with a soft expressing smile about when, well when Starfire had came to the door and Jason at the time was very young. She couldn't exactly recall if he was Robin at that point or becoming, he was a kid that was for sure, but it was only for a few minutes. When Dick had gone missing from the Titans at the time. Perhaps Jason didn't know Starfire was Koriand'r? Least probably not back then. It was so long ago. As Kory smiled comfortably at Jason, half imaging his small self in the Robin suit… With bare legs, from what she was told Dick gave him one of his suits… Given Kory had most of them… Kory's eyes trailed to Jason's new mask… At least she thought it was. as Kory spoke up, she had been trying to figure it out since he was knocked out. Kory then motioned her hand and pointed at the red face on the other side of him upon a makeshift side table. Along with his jacket. That Kory had managed to save and mend. His actual suit, was too far gone to mend back together. Sitting back, but still very much beside him. Kory caught his slight hesitation as to what she had exactly said. In her native tongue. She wanted to assure him it wasn't something bad.
"Don't worry. Grabnack… Its tamaranean for your butt or as you poetically put it, your hide."
Kory tried to reassure him, least she assumed that would ease a human's mind. Right? It had been her way of using the figure of speech. Just. She wasn't always so well at doing it, surprisingly she did get it, sometimes. In which Kory offered him a kind smile, it wasn't often she did speak her native language, but on rare occasions it did come. There was just no one here that could so easily respond to it. Dick knew a couple of the words, but Kory was content in speaking english, of course. Kory simply looked down with a smile for a moment as Jason said he had never heard of her nor Tamaran.
"Some earthlings know me as Starfire… Certainly… What would you like to know, Jason?"
Looking back up to Jason, Kory mentioned she was sometimes better known as Starfire on Earth or amongst the humans. Just by chance Jason may have heard that, but it didn't really matter. what mattered was here and them meeting right now. At least was for Kory. As Kory kindly agreed to explain what Jason wanted to know. As Kory caught the nod of food and drink. Kory had gotten to her feet and motioned nearby for the food she had prepared. As she had questioned what exactly he wanted to know. Everything was rather vast and there were certain things best left not talked about and better off forgotten. Not that Kory couldn't talk about it to s degree, but not in such vast detailing. Kory had lived it once before, there was no reason to relive it, but Kory was an honest person. Returning to the seating beside him with a warm bowl of soup, with vegetables and fish. Along with a cup of water. Least it was a start. Swirled the spoon in the soup, getting a good scoop, bringing the spoon out of the bowl and Kory gently blew upon the soup on the spoon.
"It isn't much… Once you're feeling better to walk, I'll introduce you to my ship and there'll be more food, even Cotton candy if you like? As well as male clothing."
Kory kindly remarked about the soup. It was much, but it was something. It was soup and wasn't bad by any means. Kory was sure he was hungry to a point, but she couldn't be sure exactly. Soup seemed to be the safer option, plus it had that element of making people feel better. Kory brought the soup to his lips to offer it to him. As Kory went along in her bubbly way of mentioning her homer. Her starship just a little walk from where they were now. Where Kory and Jason could better sit down to a meal. It was an island so there was just mainly fruit, vegetables and fishes. Oh and some Cotton Candy. Of course. Along with clothing, Jason would probably be needing at some point. That was of course once Jason was well rested enough. Kory was in no hurry. Just soup in hand along with her caring self and answers to what Jason wanted to know bout herself. Or Tamaran.
