It had been a deep and distant night. Filled with hope and justice. That's what it meant to be a hero. Koriand'r had eventually found her pillow for the night. Found peace and sleep until the day would greet this side of the planet. Until she felt the warm sun that gave her energy and what made her powers stronger. Waking early. Kory had generally found herself risen to watch the sunrise. Only from a different position. One where very few humans would ever see it from. As much as she tried to make Earth home, there was still plenty that separated her from humans. Waking up alone. Dressed back into her Starfire attire. Starfire exited out of her window in Bludhaven. She would return to it in time. It was a titan day or would be in a few hours.
A contrail of red fire ran behind her as she flew between the darkened buildings. Sounds were still faint. As moved higher and higher. At a descent speed. Though she could go at a very fast speed if she wished to, but for now wished to enjoy it. As Starfire moved to leave Earth. Just. So that she could truly see the sun come as it moved over this side of the planet. It was a golden glow. Though unable to fully see it, Starfire could defiantly feel the coming heat. Finding a fine spot in space. Oddly it felt comforting whenever she took to space. Perhaps it was because unlike humans, she knew what was out there. Worlds and beings of all kinds. Her green eyes looked between the stars. Knowing most of that suns they were and which galaxy. Not as easy to spot the exploded pieces of Tamaran, but her eyes did linger for a moment in its direction. It was still. It was quiet. It was quite beautiful. The view of Earth, was quite a stunning one. There was no air. Just space around. Darkened space. With globe below her purple covered feet. If only she had company, it would be a complete morning, but she would soon see her friends. The titans. She defiantly was in need of seeing Donna. Who apparently had some news to tell Starfire, but wanted to tell her in person.
"Good morning sunrise!"
Starfire spoke low to herself, as more of a glow was moving. It was coming, a little more time and the day would be greeted. The city of New York would be busy as always, but beautiful as always. As she smiled gently to herself. Her red hair tousled faintly on its own around her body. As it gently floated. Recalling the night just passed. "What are you? Why are you here?" It was things said like that, which made it feel as if it was your first day on Earth again. Why was Kory here? It wasn't always so easy to answer. A part of wanted to be here. Was that not enough? As much as she tried, she is strongly reminded she isn't one of them and she never will be.

There was a lull in trouble in Metropolis so Superman decided that he would take this chance to go and recharge via yellow sun energy. He was floating in space with his back to the sun and facing toward Earth. He had his eyes closed and was letting his arms float at his side. His cape was also floating behind him as well.
He then had a feeling that someone else was nearby... Not a bad feeling just the feeling that he wasn't alone. He opened his eyes slowly and glanced around. He saw a certain orange skinned alien up here with him. He thought about going over to talk. After all it couldn't hurt to make a friendly conversation.
He flew over towards the alien and smiled kindly. "I didn't expect to be seeing anyone else up here." He said kindly offering a smile.

There was no shift in space. No air. No wind. There wasn't the usual smells, but somehow it did have the sense of belonging. It was defiantly not new to Starfire. She could look upon a star. Like The Sun and appreciate it for what it truly was. The smile upon her already joyful face grew as more and more of the Earth was being lit up. The first signs of blue and green. Although mostly white fluffy clouds. Maybe some darker one. It was one of the wonders, the weather always changed. Winters were few and far between on a planet like Tamaran. Feeling the more direct rays just upon her skin. Starfire felt the energy build up and make her stronger. Just as if it wasn't beautiful enough. Out came a voice. Not female. So it certainly wasn't Donna. It still was kind. A humble voice and very strong.
"Kal-el!!! I mean Superman… Of course this is the best spot to watch the sun rise. Did you come to watch it as well? Plus I feel quite at home out here. Have you travelled much through the vacuum?"
With her rather joyful tone and manner. Starfire bubbly greeted the kryptonian by his real name. Least the one he is most known by in the large massive thing called the universe. He was someone that you'd be silly not to respect nor admire. He was the ultimate superhero to a lot people and other heroes. Motioned happily and instinctually to hug him as friendly as she could. Before her eyes caught the symbol on his chest, with such power and grace. The red cape. The blue. As Starfire lightly placed a finger to his steel chest as she sweetly called him Superman. Out of respect. It was hard to know what he saw himself most as. Human or Kryptonian. Starfire floated back a little in her words upon the sunrise. Her hand expression just proving her point as she happily smiled. How could she not be excited? She had company and very very good company. Her eyes looked over him as she asked. It was nice to be in the company of someone that knew more of how space was like a home. Or at least how it had an appeal and understanding. Curiously Starfire asked about his travels through space, knowing he had grown up on Earth, but he still was much human as she was.

As Starfire talked Superman smiled then chuckled slightly when she called him by both his kryptoinian name and the name he used when protecting the innocent. "You can say that." He said glancing at the sun. "I need to recharge with yellow sun energy so in a way yes I am coming to see the sun rise." He explained looking back to Starfire.
He stopped to think about where he felt most at home. In all honesty he did feel more at home on Earth. But he always felt out of place at the same time. He looked towards the Earth and shrugged. "I feel at home both on Earth and in space. But granted I've lived there longer." He commented as he raised a hand to make a point. Not in a forceful way. But like someone pointing something out.
"Yes I have been to a few other planets over the years." He said with a nod. "I tend to remain here to protect Earth though. It makes me feel much better to know that I'm not the only alien protecting Earth." He looked Starfire over and notice she was still wearing her usual attire. She certainly had a style that was unique to her. "So how are things going?" He asked seeing as they were alone and there wasn't really any harm in some idle conversation. It would make the time pass faster after all. But all the while Superman kept an ear out for any signs of trouble anywhere on Earth.

It was that either way situation. Whether to call him by his birth name or the one the humans gave him. One thing for sure he was Superman. He was an icon to Earth. Not just to the everyday human, but to heroes. Not only that he reached planet after planet. Even lifetimes from what she knew about the legions. It quite purifying to see him this element. Of which seemed more than a natural place for Starfire to be herself. Getting that little sparkled eyed by his cape. As it floated, given the lack of gravity and yet he was no way near about to fall. As she looked and heard his comment. She too smiled. Similar need for the sun, of course. Only difference Starfire's powers would survive without it.
"Of course… Its similar for me… Mostly it just brings me a lot joys to watch as I do feeling it."
Lightly Starfire commented kindly with her words. Starfire knew the basic structure of kryptonians. Though she hadn't ever truly sat down with Superman to know where he knew all that much about Tamaraneans. There similarities, but also differences. She didn't need to be up here, more than she wanted to be. As she smiled softly, just with the sun peaking then, she could feel a whole lot of heat. Not as strong as the sun Tamaran was born with, but this sun still struck with very good rays. He was silent. It was curious. He had a moment of misplacement, maybe. As Starfire looked over him. To think he hadn't felt the difficulties of being an 'alien' on Earth, Starfire was sure he wouldn't be that strong to escape it. Not all of it. No matter how at home he would feel, he wasn't one of them. He wasn't human. Starfire knew the feeling well. It was most in part down to her friends, the ones she felt most closest towards that made her feel at home. Even more than her own people made her feel.
"Understandable, you were raised here, in Smallville. Which I've heard of by name, but haven't gotten to see yet. What is it like? To be honest for me its my friends on Earth that made it a home for me, in a lot of ways they are my family."
It was natural for him. Was what Starfire was seeing. He was raised on Earth. He was a baby when his planet died. Earth was his home, it of course didn't make Kryton any less apart of him. It created him. It was easy to see, but as she could tell in his words. There was that something extra in his eyes when regarding Earth. More so perhaps as she spoke of Smallville. Her eyes had moved at that time to the symbol on his chest. She never knew in great detail. As her smile grew as she mentioned and asked him for what it was like for him. That seemed where his down to earth nature came from, but Starfire could be wrong. Her eyes had moved to Earth for a moment in her words of it being home. It was mostly down to those who welcomed her. She didn't feel so alone. She would go to great lengths to protect them.
"Knowing of your father, I'm sure he left you with great knowledge of the universe? The universe is generally well covered, the Lanterns are a great asset most of the time… Even though so young, Earth needs the help. I've seen planets die, not long ago I saw Tamaran die. I won't see it become of Earth. I won't let it die. I am a warrior…"
There was never really any question about it. Starfire took the battles before her head on. It was vague to really answer. Why she was here? But she did do she could to protect and save these people. Even if many didn't want her here. Just as she did for Tamaran who didn't lift a finger to save her. She didn't do or not do it because they deserved it. She did it from strength and because she was in her heart a good person. It was a place that stirred inside. Of passion. Of her bravery. As she said it. Proclaimed it to Superman. In calling herself a warrior. No not calling. She was a warrior. Her reputation was also quite different on Earth than the rest of the universe. It didn't mean she wasn't a great force here than through the galaxies, here she had to hold back. She would also be the tamaranean princess. As Starfire floated in her attire. There was the faint notice of Superman's eyes. It didn't bother her in anyway. If anyone began guessing who she was by simply what she wore, then they already were losing in trying to know who she was. Only Starfire defined who and what she was. She was unique, she was also a tamaranean. They just were two different aliens. There in that very humble question. He was someone whether it was human or Kryptonian. One thing he was a kind soul. A good person.
"Things are well. Very well. Its pretty much between time spent in New York with the Titans and Bludhaven. I'm surrounded by those I care about, my family. It can't get more joyful than that… Speaking of joy. I heard you had a little run in with Dick recently. Who actually won? I know first hand though with his lack of powers, he's very determined."
Kory sweetly with her kind natural charm answered. Everything was good, despite the need for justice still in world of course, but as far as personal things were good. Though for Starfire if things weren't she would find a way so they were good again. Brightened in a little more light as she mentioned what Dick had mentioned about when he race Superman. Naturally one would think a human would think twice to race Superman. Unless one was say wally or another with those flash feet. Starfire smiled though, she knew Dick well. He was probably almost if not as brave as she was and not many trumped her in bravery. He didn't even have powers or unnatural abilities. Not that Starfire was admitting of him beating her. It was hard for Donna most of the time. As warrior and the training she had. Starfire, Koriand'r loves a challenge. Though Dick he defiantly tried. Even in many ways she was worried she might actually damage him, it sure got close. It was with him that she learnt the control, particularly with her natural instinct to kill when in the moment and he was one that knew just how much she held back.

Superman smiled and inclined his head slightly as Starfire made her comment about the sun bringing her much joy. "Well I will confess it does have that effect on me too." He said glancing at the sun for just a second. It was true there was just something about the warmth it gave off. It was a comforting warmth..... A warmth that was something to be cherished when it was around.
Superman allowed more of his attention to be placed on Starfire as she talked about Smallville and having never been there. He looked down at the Earth and looked right down to where he knew it was. He may not have been human or native to this world but Smallville would always hold a special place in his heart. "Yes I was raised in Smallville it really is a rare place. Everyone knows one another and they don't put too much stock into where you're from." He started to think back to his time living there. It was a pleasant place to live. It was also where he met Lois. He smiled slightly as he remembered that day in the corn fields. He kept remembering his past until he heard Starfire mention his father... His real father.
He looked back to her and nodded. "Yes he did leave me much information on the universe. But I didn't learn any of it or about Krypton for a few years." He looked out into the stars and wondered what Hal was up to at the moment when the Lanterns were mentioned. "Yes the universe is well protected but I feel better that Earth is more so. Seeing as in away it is my home. Even if I'm not human." He smiled abit and looked back to Starfire. His smile wasn't the usual smile. It was a smile a father would have when talking about his children. "They may be young like you said but they have the potential to be great." He said crossing his arms.
Superman chuckled at her questioning of they race he had with Dick. "I went ahead and toyed with him some before I caught him. I'm sure that if it had gone on longer though he would have gotten away. He knows Bludhaven well."

It was beautiful. At her words, Starfire caught the glimpse of Kal-el's smile and the motion of his head. A common ground, well figurally speaking of course. It was a large ball of power and quite the centre of this galaxy. The sun from the Vega was more red, much older, but this sun was very powerful despite its age. Starfire smiled at his confession, when did Superman have things to confess. He was so confident, even in regards he had secrets here and there, but he was anything than hiding. As if a beacon of his own. A symbol. He was Superman. As her eyes got a little caught in watching his cape float. The S on his chest. They were different aliens, but still both with a large capacity for love. Of hope.
Floating rather comfortably herself, Starfire caught the movement of Kal-el's eyes to Earth at her mentioning Smallville. As if he was staring right down through it. At a glimpse Starfire was sure she saw an extra glimmer, it was meant a lot. For a time it was all he knew. That was fascinating and sweet. Just hearing, he never felt trapped there. It was comfort. Though at the end of his words, Starfire was assuming that he didn't mean that they knew their home grown farm boy was really an alien. Starfire flew a little closer. Almost over his shoulder as her green eyes followed his gaze. She had keen eye sight, but not as keen as his own. Starfire could break through the clouds, as if just a peak and see the hint of lush green, but not into detail.
"I can see that, it is in your heart… All I see is speckles, but it does sound wonderful… I'd love a guided tour one day, if you have spare time?"
Starfire had commented with not even a flinch she could see the effect it had on him. She knew emotions well enough, thats the funny thing about emotions they're not subject to just one race, but by all. Just not always the same, of course. As Starfire smiled sweetly as her eyes showed she was trying to take shape of Smallville and was almost there, but just barely the hints of trees. For all Starfire could guess, Kal-el was spying right through to his backyard or farm or crops or whatever it was, Starfire glowed warmly expressing the desire to see it. Especially from a local's perspective, but it was no secret, he was a busy kryptonian. It mostly was a kind extension, he needed not feel any means to fill, only if he wanted to. Somehow though from the looks, seeing Smallville again wasn't something he'd simply object to.
"A part of you would have always known… I know how you feel. I have found happiness, maybe even love on Earth. Whether it is just for today or forever this is where I must be."
Starfire simply commented about Kal-el not knowing until a few years later in life, but she knew he would have known on some level. That he was different, more than simply being unique as humans would say. Though as alone he must have felt at times because of that, Starfire knew, could see the happiness or home he had found was what grounded him. At his words of home, it defiantly hit a familiar spot for her as Starfire said she knew that feeling and it wasn't even a second thought. She had come from a world that had turned their backs on her and one point before breaking free, wanted to destroy them, but in reaching her freedom Starfire learnt to forgive them, but it was here. On Earth that she truly tasted happiness for the first time. Not by all humans, as she knew Kal-el would also understand, but Starfire defiantly felt happiness amongst her friends here. Maybe even love. As Starfire glowed sweetly. However long it would last, well that be as long as Starfire would stay here. No other place felt like home. Home is where the heart is.
"Oh, I know… I was just referring to the planet itself as being young. I feel the coming wars Earth hasn't even begun to see nor experience. Which is why it needs our protection."
Starfire mildly trying to rephrase that she had meant the planet itself being young, not exactly the people. Given when Tamaran and Krypton exploded they were much older, thus the red suns and they had seen wars or least knew of them. All there was 100 years of peace of Tamaran, but still had its share of war prior and after. Earth would probably face many in the future and it needed the protection now and forever. Starfire wouldn't let this world die and she knew with help by Superman, and many other heroes, they wouldn't let it die either.
"Sounds it was a lot of fun, then. Hmmm, I think he just knows the shadows well, but could he really challenge your super sense? Bludhaven does seem like it is a good place for him, he seems happier there. I still don't think he sees what I see, what we all know… We should catch up, if you are ever in Bludhaven again."
It was really happy to hear Kal-el's words. Starfire from all she heard it was a lot of fun and oddly Dick always seemed more hopeful when he ever spoke with Superman, then really who didn't it. She smiled at Kal-el's mentioning Dick knowing Bludhaven well, it was true, he seemed rather suited to the shadows, but that really wasn't any surprise. There was always something different than what Bruce had taught him and with this change of location. Bludhaven was home to Nightwing. He least felt he had a voice there and well despite the over work. Which was probably a trait by now, he did seem more at peace there. As Starfire spoke of what Dick couldn't see, that was more Starfire speaking out loud, a result of wearing so much on ones sleeve. Smiled sweetly at least Dick was trying to find his place and who he was. He knew more about himself than when she met him, but he was very much an onion. Layer after layer after amazing layer… Starfire opened the invite if Kal-el ever wanted to visit. He was defiantly warming company, maybe not as much as her own, but he was close. Starfire smiled. That wasn't exactly an invitation to race her, that wouldn't exactly be a fair race. What is faster? A Shooting star or a speeding bullet?

Superman didn't really need to use his powers to see Smallville he instead do to having lived there for the first few years of his life he just needed to think of it. "If I have the time." He said nodding at her question for a tour of Smallville one day.
He listened to her as she spoke about him having always known that he wasn't human and he thought back to the day he learned he was Kryptoinian and had to admit he hadn't really been surprised at what he learned. "I was more surprised to learn my home world had been destroyed . I wasn't to surprised to see I wasn't human." Then he chuckled when she mentioned she had possibly found love. He may have too. Part of him wondered how many extra-terrestrials had met they're loves on Earth.
He nodded when she explained what she meant. "That too. I will say that if anything happens to this world the humans will help us as well. I don't think anything can happen to these people and they won't stop and without a fight." He said in response.
"We'll have to team up on him him if we're ever both in Bludhaven at the same time." He chuckeld at the thought of two flying aliens chasing down Nightwing. He may have been the Man of Steel but he had his moments of wanting to protect to have a small bit of fun.

Time. It more or less didn't exist. As Starfire simply remarked what Superman said, at least in terms of space. It did to a point, but it was vastly different than time on Earth. Though he was Superman. Ears and eyes to all. With so many in need, moments as such would be rare, but in everything he seemed the kind to make time. Or maybe it was just his ability of speed. Starfire smiled softly as her green eyes escaped through the surrounding space. It was so quiet. Simple. At least it was for her.
"What time do you have now?"
Starfire sweetly and playfully asked. As she looked to him curiously, time seemed to be theirs now. To an extent anyways. Not that Starfire was impatient, but it defiantly sounded like a lot of fun. Today for Starfire was free for now, when your a hero there is the unexpected usually during the day unlike the night when the action was a little more expected. Besides Dick showing her the farmlands, seemed less likely to happen. There that look in Superman's eyes as recalled the destruction of Krypton. Destroyed before Kal-el could really know where he came from. Looking in the spot. The direction of where the rubble was left of Tamaran. She had grown up there. Known her people. It didn't take much to recall the paradise, even if that paradise in parts was tainted for her. Her green eyes looked over Superman as he wasn't surprised he wasn't human. As much as one tries you just can't hide what you are. Not completely. The feeling of being alone can creep in. Starfire did what she could to change and fit on Earth, but she embraced what she was. Somethings just cannot be changed.
"Did you ever get too see Krypton? Tamaran is lost as well, it puts it in perspective when your race is all but gone. As home as Earth can be, there are times you feel simply alone. We can't escape what we are."
Starfire politely asked, knowing there were chances he probably jumped back in time, but even with that. Starfire knew it wouldn't be the same. Had his parents not done what they had for him, he would have perished. So much was lost, but clearly so much more was gained. As Starfire mentioned the loss of her own planet. What was worse not knowing or knowing what it was like? Because certainly Starfire felt the missing space, but there were also parts she hadn't missed. There was only a portion of her race that had survived, maybe even less for Krypton it was not something you'd wish upon a world. It was more than just a city crumbling. Unlike Kal-el. Starfire saw the destruction. She had offered her help, but just as before Tamaran turned her away. She was banished. Starfire could more than understand the feeling of not being human. She had her childhood in Tamaran. Her every basic nature was alien. Even moments with her friends Starfire could feel quite different. Alone, but then wasn't every human different. Just in their case they were extra different. Though there was never a greater time Starfire felt alone than when she was a slave. Betrayed not by humans, but by her own people. Coming to Earth she not only found love, but a belonging and she had realised though born to be queen. Having been a slave herself, she never wanted to rule anyone.
"They are capable, I should know I'm in love with one of them, but some can be quite brutal."
Starfire of course agreed there was a lot of strong points with humans, but like really any race it came down to the person. As there were humans that weren't as moral centred or as generous. Some too easily turned. It was easier for Superman, they saw him more as one of their own and as Clark he was mistakably human. Starfire. Koriand'r wasn't as easily welcomed, maybe helped with the fact she didn't look entirely human. She quite enjoyed the flattery some would give her, but when she hadn't done anything to them. Like when it came out Starfire was dating Mr Grayson. An alien dating a human. The question if they married stirred even more. It did hurt at times, knowing she was a good person, but she was also tamaranean she had a natural strong nature. Stronger or maybe weaker depending how you looked at it from her time as a slave. Starfire changed what she could but she couldn't sacrifice her dignity nor her soul. But those good humans, Starfire more than cared about. She would go to any lengths to protect those she loved. There were great humans. Many in fact. As she had simply mentioned Dick, but she knew of many others. Even the ones that didn't understand her. Starfire was always open to know who they were. Put it down to her joyful nature.
"I'm sure Dick will love that… Should we make it a date? We might just have a chance, but it isn't too difficult to bring him back down to Earth once you know how. In all of the universe, very few have a heart as he does… How is Lois?"
Tag teaming against Nightwing. It was defiantly an amusing thought. Would Dick expect that? Well least he'd be chased by two good aliens as suppose to the bad, but not like that hasn't happen before. Starfire smiled recalling that sort of how she met him and the titans. With aliens trying to get her. Well maybe a bit more than two. That was a playing on words in regards to bringing him back down to Earth, given Dick can generally have a wall up and completely encased in his work, but Starfire knew how to find him when he needed it. Not many did, mostly because Starfire wasn't sure they really saw him as she did. Not that she was one to fix his flaws, she rather admired them, because it all came from an important place in the end. Not too mention the passion, but it was clear the smile around her face. The spark in her eyes. The countless goosebumps like fire. The feelings wouldn't simply die down. In which he helped her come back down to Earth. Guided her on this planet and on occasion to his arms, not that she was reliving several memories. As her emotions had more or less spoken for her, before asking about Lois. In truth she didn't know a lot, but enough between heroes and mostly because Dick would tell her these things.

Superman looked at her and thought about it trying to remember if he had anything pressing at the time. "Well I do have a High School reunion of shorts coming up today. But I wasn't planning on going though." He said as he thought some. He thought that maybe he could bring Koriand'r to Smallville under the guise of a friend from Metropolis.
When she asked if he ever got to see Krypton he shook his head. "I never got to see it in person. Only through what I've learned through the records my father left me." He said soberly. He looked out into the vastness of space and couldn't help but wonder what his life would have been like if he had grown up on Krypton. He looked back at Starfire after a while bringing himself back to the conversation. "How is your relationship with Dick going?" He asked casually. There was no harm in asking her about that. Plus he found it to be one of the things they had in common. They were both alien to this world and yet they had both fallen in love with a human. "He might like being chased by you. I might annoy him slightly after a while." He said smirking.
He thought slightly then decided that he might as well offer. "I guess I could make time to go to the High School reunion so I can show you Smallville." He offered after all it didn't seem like there was going to be anything rough happening today. Of course that was only judging by what was happening at the moment. He hoped the rest of the day would be this way.

This was a day and a time, Starfire hadn't so much planned. Just going with it. How often does one running into Superman? In her case flying into, well in a manner of speaking. As the sun now rose over the side of the planet they floated before. The two aliens. One of few left of their race and found a home on Earth. With the notion of Smallville, it seemed like something wonderful and it was still there too be seen. The place that could raise such an extraordinary boy, how many didn't realise? As Starfire smiled warmly to the last son of Krypton. High School wasn't something Starfire had a lot of experience with, but caught how he cut short on him not planning go
"Oh really? That sounds like it could be fun… I never got to do this high school thing, but I certainly enjoyed watching Dick study… Well in ways at least… It be quite a shock I'm sure if they knew Clark bloomed into Superman… You should go."
Yes going partially hand in hand with Kal-el to a high school reunion would defiantly be a page turner. Starfire kindly commented. In ways a party, as far as Kory knew about these events. Before mentioning of course she hadn't even gone to high school. Kory was interested to check it out, yeah all of high school she knew was then the other titans went and of course Dick. As Kory amusingly recalled and smiled playfully. A lot of times waiting when he had a moment free, between everything else and at times she was the distraction. Kory also helped, but most resulted in losing an item of clothing from her. Encouragement of course. Starfire's knowledge was vast throughout in regards to the universe. It was Dick that had helped guide her way especially when she first arrived. Before Starfire's eyes ran over Superman in light gesture to the possibility if his high school were to find out exactly who Clark had grown up to become. Of course he wouldn't want them to know, it would create unnecessary attention.
"You needn't look far, Kal-el. You are Krypton."
Starfire responded with more light. More positive tone. Upon seeing the sober look with in his kryptonian eyes. Before looking to some space within the universe. To find the place it once stood and the questions were looming. Starfire could tell, but he was a generous portion of kryptonian. He gave their race a chance. A vast reminder of just how powerful the planet once was. Not that Starfire herself had seen it, she was younger than him, so all she knew was after his landing on Earth and after Krypton was gone from the universe. Didn't mean she didn't know of it. There came the swift change in direction, well not greatly. Just looking into the eyes of Superman, you looked into a soul who had kindness. Undoubtedly. As Starfire felt the rippled heat across her skin as he spoke Dick's name and asked her. Even her orange cheeks couldn't hide the extra tone of colour, but who was she to hide. When all she wanted was to love him. With everything beating of her heart.
"It's been going quite wonderfully. I had only my hope in my return. I had come home, but mostly I had come back for him. I'm not sure if it is exactly like before, but that is ok. It feels more… There is still that stubbornness in him that he needs to keep proving himself to me, but the thing is. I love him as much now as when I first met him."
There was nothing to prove. Starfire spoke as openly as she could manage. As things between them seemed to being going rather splendid. There was never any lack of passim, but that was a given by this stage. It was different to when they had dated before she had been betrothed and left. There seemed hardly if anything could pull them apart back then, before suddenly the laws of Tamaran caused her to marry another. Back. It had been slow, but eventually unable to deny there was still something there. More so. He was still a little cautious in places, perhaps the fear she'd be taken away or run away, but there was little way Starfire would just up and leave him. Not forever. Starfire giggled a sweet soft sound. It was something to be talking about this to Superman, but to anyone Starfire felt pure joy in talking about Dick. At the smirk and mentioning of Dick preferring to be chased by her. Starfire giggled softly a little more. He was probably right.
"I'm sure he would, but somehow I don't think I'd have to chase him for too long… I'm sure I've lost count the many different training sessions we've had. Knowing our likeness for competition, he'd find a way to turn the tables and chase me… But I don't know about that, you are someone he looks up to. He is Nightwing after all.
Starfire smile innocently as she spoke without he hint of her playful side. It may cause a problem if Starfire found herself running after him for lengths of time, no even for Dick that might be a little hard to keep to. Besides he wasn't completely hard to find and pin him down. Ok, maybe a little. As Starfire mentioned about the training sessions, as was expected to have especially for the titans and there had been many spars between the two. A lot of them was Dick dodging her Starbolts and asking for more, but Kory holding back so she wouldn't slice something off. Like an ear. It wasn't new to say Dick enjoyed the competition and it was the same for Starfire, knowing Dick he's end up chasing her. Perhaps a bit of both… But at Superman thinking he'd annoy Dick, well he was generally the worrying type, but as Kory complimented that he was a role model for Dick. That much Starfire did know. At one point they had shared the same name, Nightwing.
"Oh, I'd be honoured to go with you, Kal-el. I mean Mr Kent… I suppose I'll need some form of a dress, will there be some in Smallville? Would you know anything about cooking a home cook meal? That I could surprise Dick with. I hear its common in places like Smallville."
The expression was that of joy and high spirits as Starfire openly accepted his kind invitation. To visit Smallville with Kal-el. Clark. It was defiantly something to be excited about. Starfire had only seen farms, but not quite like this nor long enough. Starfire sweetly offered out a hand. To follow his lead to where Smallville was. As her green eyes lightly skimmed her attire, she was probably a little over dressed for the reunion or Smallville. As Starfire kindly questioned, she was sure there be something there she could find. She wasn't overly picky by any means. It was just clothes, but as fun as walking the corn fields naked sounded, it was maybe not what they expect to see.

Clark nodded slightly at her comment about not having gone to high school "Well I've been here longer then you have. So I had to take it." He said looking back towards the Earth as he remembered those days. "It wasn't that bad. Though no one thought much of me at the time." He added with a slight laugh. He remembered what it was like for him. Not only did he live as the mild-mannered individual that didn't do much out of the ordinary. At the same time he had to learn his powers. A small smile crossed his face at the thought that humans go through something similar. Though not quite the same as he did.
Clark smiled with amusement as he saw the extra tone appear on her cheeks. Yes she was clearly in love with her. "Well He is a luck man. I'm sure that one day he'll come to realize just how strong his feelings are for you." He thought back as he remembered how he felt while he was trying to learn what his feelings were for Lois when he had started to grow feelings for her.
He thought back to his chase with Dick. It was actually rather fun to be able to chase someone without the worry that he was going to eventually have to stop and fight him later on. Plus he had to admit Dick was getting much better at what he did. Not that he wasn't good to begin with. Batman did teach him well. And in someways you could see Batman in Dick. But at the same time Nightwing wasn't anything like Batman.
When Kory took up his offer to go to Smallville and asked if she needed a type of dress. "It might not need to be a dress. But it would at the very least you might want to cover up abit more. The people in Smallville aren't used to you're style. Unlike Dick might be." He commented playfully. When he finished speaking he turned to lead the way but he didn't start up quickly. Instead he moved slowly so that it didn't appear as though he was just leaving her behind. Also even though he was the Man of Steel he didn't forget the people he went to school with. He was wondering how well the others had turned out.

There was still no added sounds. Or really scents, beside the kryptonian. With even barely the move of his cape, save gravity wasn't so easily holding it down. Just mildly danced above him. Starfire smiled softly over it and at his words of course. There was just no reason for her to attend their school and nor had she really needed it. Starfire had the knowledge of most of the universe. Perhaps more so than the kryptonian, even in some of the things he said was hard not to hear the stubbornness in his voice. Though as stubborn as his race could be, he was at a default a good man. Starfire looked to him as he mildly joked about his time in school. Was it really funny to him? Starfire had to think from what he said to how he laughed. WIth the look she gave him before looking to Earth, such treatment, it wasn't all that friendly or that pleasant. Not enough to find it overly funny...
"Still… It couldn't of been easy knowing you were different… Without knowing exactly why. I mean no matter how close a human could get, they'd never really understand. Especially the changes if I recall the process a kryptonian goes through… At this point they just become a part of who you are. As if they were always meant to be."
Starfire spoke mildly as if she could relate. Understand. Least simply during the fact they were both strangers to this planet once, sometimes it still felt that way. Though of course tamaranean and kryptonian were completely two different things. He defiantly had more human touch to him though, perhaps that made him a little different. As Starfire spoke of his growth into who he was now, particularly at times when he wouldn't of had a clue. Where as Starfire was born in her world. As Starfire meant process of his own powers, which she was aware wasn't as natural born least not as most of hers were… Starbolts were something that came to be her own, as Starfire mentioned they become who you are, instead of something that your detached from. Shooting out starbolt glows as she she smiled to him. Not at any great shooting of them. Starfire had control over them. When once it had been the torture that brought them upon her, it was now Starfire that wielded the power to do good with. Least those were her intentions.
"Are the rumours true… That it took you such time to take flight? That is just unworldly to me."
Starfire paused for a moment as she then curiously asked, perhaps the process was different from kryptonian to kryptonian, but it still seemed unnatural not to fly for her. Having been born with it, it was like walking least by the time she was 4 years old. Of course Starfire wasn't trying to make him feel bad, but of course when one naturally thinks of superman. It is all up, up and away. It's hardly an imagine to just imagine he is grounded unless of some blue rock or he was back on krypton and away from the yellow sun. He evoked power. It radiated from him. Much of why most of Tamaran didn't like Krypton. They practically destroyed themselves, as harsh as it was to think. Let alone say. Of course. Kal-el was kinda. Gentler. As was Kara to a degree. It must have been the earthly touch. As Starfire caught the smile. The kindness even from simply talking about one singular man. One who meant more than she could probably describe. He was Earth in a lot of ways. What it meant. He was the first one to really love her. Especially after all the destruction set upon her and managed to survive. He was the first good thing she saw. Fell upon, literally.
"What ever does happen… I do believe I will always be in his heart, as he will always be in mine. He's my soul mate."
There was very little doubt in her voice. She knew the connection between them. Whether they were lovers or friends, it wouldn't change it. They'd always know each other. Both be what and who they needed in the times that counted. Human emotions did change in ways a tamaraneans never did, but she knew simply looking in Dick's eyes. Looking in his heart, she'd always have a place there, no matter what happened. They had gone through so much together and for each other. Starfire's desires of course hoped for more. She always did. Hoped for the day he would wrap her in his arms and set into their own destiny. For now, they were young in a world that needed much more than just their love, but everything seemed swell. Their love was growing as was Dick's affections. It was really something to just stand beside him in Bludhaven… Standing together. Even so much so as going back to the tower.
"Oh? Well I of course wouldn't want to go around in my Starfire suit, … Do you have any female attire, I could borrow? What do you mean by my style? I'm tamaranean and i am a model. There are other models in the world, that are human…."
Starfire responded lightly. Her green eyes trailed her shape and suit. Well, she sort of made the point she needed to be out of her suit. That would kind of ring the bell there is an alien in smallville, with barely having her foot in the door. Not that the public knew who Starfire was, but there was the line of those that showed affection and distaste. Starfire questioned what he had in his wardrobe that maybe of use as Starfire also took flight beside him, but picked up the pace a little more. Allowing her hair to make a contrail behind them. Skimming through the layer of Earth before they fell down into the sky in flight. Starfire looked him curiously as he so pointedly spoke about her style… 'My style.' Was he just as prudish. Starfire could half giggle. especially when her style seemed all quite normal to her. Especially her Starfire suit given it was tamaranean in style, not just Koriand'r's, but she was born princess. Thus the purple. Did he really not know who or what she was? That and of course she was also a model. That seemed more earthly. It was always still about a time and a place in regards to how minimal to wear or even not to wear something… Only that time and place differed a little different in her mind. What was the point of a bikini? It barely hid anything to begin with. Though the human reactions to it, was certainly amusing to her. Starfire flew alongside the red and blue. Skimming clouds in the blue sky, with the sun now shining brightly down below. There were trees and hills in sight. Greenery. Starfire had an idea where Smallville was, but not down to point. So Starfire kept her eyes out below.
