Dr. Crane was hell bent on getting to the other side of the dark water before he was caught again by the guards. He knew that it was possible there was something in the water with him, but he didn't have very much time to stop and think about it. Besides, There was nothing for him to fear in or outside of the water. Dr. Crane swam quite a great distance across from underneath the water. He didn't dare surface considering that there was already enough evidence that he had leapt into the water. He had more important things to do right now than deal with Penguin's hired guns.
He felt something brush across the outside of his leg and he stopped to surface at the water. He only got to turn for half a second before a large shark surfaced with a labyrinth of teeth staring him wide in the face. But before the aquatic beast could swallow him whole he was suddenly ripped out of the water. Dr. Crane struggled in the grip but went still when he saw the tank explode in a green light. Starfire had picked him up. He felt a sudden sensation shoot through his body as her hand slid under his jaw. A flash of memories came to the surface and the moment she set him down he jerked away from her. He felt at his own jaw, soaking wet. His hair was cast in front of his eyes and his mind raced with what he was trying to do before he had so abruptly distracted him.
Yes....The Penguin. The Scarecrow turned to see Starfire blast through another invidual. It didn't matter to him, it was certainly a waste of a life that he could have put to good research but because of this man's actions research was impossible. But he was going to remedy that. While Starfire flew off he managed to shimmy up the side of the caving in building, it lead to a large hole that had appeared to the roof. Through much debri and rubble he was able to climb himself to the top and take in the Gotham City air. The screams from the people below filled him up like a symphony raising into his ears and drinking from his soul. His hands lifted out slightly as if he could embrace the moment he held, but no sooner did she show up with the very man that he had sought out to punish. His moment of bliss quickly ended as a shot came to his left and then his right. He looked up to see that damn umbrella, a deceptive tool that he had face more than once with several types of potency.
Like he had been struck dead his muscles relaxed and he fell backward into a roll. Instead of coming back out he used his hand in motion on the ground to roll his back with a twist to the left, avoiding another shot and jumped back up behind a metal casing on the roof, probably a large air conditioning unit that was now falling to pieces. The roof wouldn't hold for long, as the thought went through his mind his foot actually went through the floor and he had to move closer to the edge of the box. He peered out to see the buzzard flying around Starfire.
"Excellent Starfire. Get rid of the feathered demon! And his toy..." He gave her a rare moment of praise but not for her sake as she would probably think. He needed her to get the umbrella away from him before he could make his steps forward. There was no telling how he had modified it to hold bullets so it would be impossible for him to count them correctly. Still he peered around the corner to see how she was doing and thought to bring his demand forward. "You have something of mine..." The distortion cracked through the air but faded quickly, becoming wet had not helped it in the slightest and in that moment it had a short and the fans stopped turning.

Gotham may not be up in flames, least not yet, but potentially the lounge was melting. Destruction was just the dangerous side of the sun. As nurturing as Starfire could be, well given when she was fully connected within herself, but she could be very lethal. Passion and with passion there was little for in-between… Taken flight with the mangled car below. Left much like a ticking time bomb, but penguin was vastly in her golden grasp. Firmly, but not so much need to hold him. Despite his weight, he was still considerably lighter for her. Mostly her hand was to keep him in place. His panic was easily felt. He was potentially a flightless bird, least thats what his name suggested. Starfire couldn't say she had known of him greatly. Even more so in her current state. Somehow faint tales came to mind, but her mind was less than fill with nursery rhymes… Least not ones favoured. Somehow more chances of blinded mice and the echoing of a clock… Starfire flew not for height, though they were considerably high, a sight Gothamnites would have been used too, only the tamaranean princess was usually out too protect. To save… Not to potentially drop penguins.
"And have you potentially squished? I think not."
It was questioned, but the answer very much followed. It seemed either very bad timing or merely silliness that one would demand release at very high altitudes. Wasn't like he had a great monkey grip on his umbrella, but alas. It would still avoid the point. Releasing him at the wrong time. The wrong place… There was only release when master granted the word… The faint tick tick tock, echoed louder… With master in sight and in remarkable condition, despite the wreckage that crumbled in ice. Smoke bellowed in random places. The city was naturally dark, but it oddly felt more dead. Even her golden bright burning flame flying down from the skies could really elevate it. Carting Penguin coiled in her grasp. Not even in moments of Starfire warming up to the praise Scarecrow had remarked, the shear emotions from the chubby bird changed… Although not to fear as one would have expected for the straw man of darkness… Rage. Aggression. Though as Starfire motioned to block the attack. Wings as hear and not of blue or black. In a shift motion, the vulture is aiming for her head. Blocking an attack with a fist, before aiming pinkish starbolts in its very direction, did it aim true? All one could really see was feathers, perhaps there was a faint chance it wasn't roast turkey now. It would say a trip to the local supermarket, then that seemed rather unlikely. Starfire flew more level with the Scarecrow as he laid out his demands. Threats… Remained a little off the ground and kept a hold on Penguin. Although somehow she doubted he could out run her, even if she was no West… Friends! Such a faint and yet the deepest star!

Well trained to fly into dangerous situations though the vulture may be she wasn't quite so used to people who could throw painful bolts of light around and was lucky to escape with just a few singed feathers. While quick to back off from Starfire's attack and seeming wary the bird stubbornly refuses to leave the area while they were manhandling her beloved Oswald and starts circling overhead, trying to build up the courage to attack again as Oswald only other means of weaponry, his umbrella, is cruelly destroyed and he's left unarmed.
Outside the sirens fill the air as the police and fire crew set up in heated debate on who gets the pleasure of going in first while the camera crews roll in and fight for the best spot to set up. The late night crowds and those who ran from the club stop to watch and stare as the fire starts to take over though the sensible never stopped running. Very few of the lounge staff stop to gawp, with the majority of them in the possession of a criminal record and several years of Gotham experience they knew better than to stop and watch rogues at work.
Under Starfire's firm grip Oswald gives his token struggle to get free but ultimately settles down and dangles as he's held there as if he's given in. Brute strength wasn't working at that moment, he'd rather they think he had surrendered while he looks for an opportunity to take advantage of. The hardest part of the act was burying his rage deep enough not to show it but Oswald has great experience in such things.
Crane's words still earn a sneer though there's an edge of uncomfortable nervousness that shows as his eyes flick to the fires that are spreading around the club "Your research was mine to take Jonathan, you decided to do business. I merely took what was owed to me when you decided to take my generous funding and run...Perhaps however we can come to some sort of mutually beneficial agreement?" Revenge would come but now he must bottle his rage, he wasn't in a good position to negotiate but he wasn't about to lay down and wait for Jonathan to do something without at least trying to talk his way out of his current predicament.
Obviously Oswald considered Crane to be complaining about his research. Even with the information that there may be something between Jonathan and Heather it's near impossible for Oswald to imagine Jon attached to anyone so the orange haired irritation of a woman barely enters Oswald's mind at all, Heather's involvement in his attack on Crane is entirely irrelevant.

The Scarecrow stayed behind the large unit for a moment longer. Slowly his glowing lenses peeked around to see the bird being beaten off and the umbrella destroyed. If it could be seen it would be plainly stretched upon his face, a sinister grin, the Scarecrow had beaten him.
Having no presenting threat The Scarecrow ripped around from the unit and shoved his hands into his pockets. He took long, slow strides back toward the Penguin that swung wide with each step as if he was deep in thought. The Helicopters came and buzzed around in the air, there were several spotlights whipping around. One of the closer Helicopters stopped and hovered to keep a light on the three of them. The light was bright and hot, he lifted his hand to shield his lenses from the light.
”Agreement?” He tilted his head in question and rose his arms to show around him. ”What possible thing do you have that I haven’t already taken for myself?” The Scarecrow asked and finally stepped up to him. He towered over him, still dripping wet from the dip in what now seemed to be a giant shark tank. The condition of his mask had only deteriorated since he had come up here and the fans continued to stop and restart, making the light flicker on and off in his eyes. It only added to the ominous presence he felt he held over him at that moment and The Scarecrow was going to bask in it as long as he could.
And what did the Penguin think that he could offer him? The Scarecrow was no fool. He knew that Mr. Cobblepot would try to weasel his way out of facing his fears if he thought that he was able to. The Scarecrow shook his head and suddenly extended his hand to clasp around the man’s thick neck. He leaned in close enough for the fibers of the mask to fray against his face as he spoke. “I didn’t run…I just had better things to do with my time….So tell me….” The Scarecrow paused in his statement, tempted to ask the question that got him shot in the knee by this man previously. “Tell me what you fear giving up….”. His eyes darkened and his fingers tightened to his neck.
“Tell me so I can take it away.”

The nasty looking bird was easy enough to shake off without any deadly scratches, but really it was like apples and oranges. Despite the pun Starfire was golden in colour. Starfire just didn't take to it with much concern, then she wasn't really her true sense of mind. The Scarecrow wanted one thing, well one thing for now. That was this penguin fellow, whom Starfire held grasped tightly in one of her hands. Despite his chubby self, Starfire didn't feel the weight too greatly, maybe a little bit of the tickling feeling. Starfire was all but lost from the moment. Doing what she was controlled to do. As the ice lounge mere footsteps way almost crumbling into a puddle of melted ice. Bits and pieces. What was left of the fleeing people! When the flames had come. Bursting into a loud and fast roar from the car. There was that added feel of panic in the section of Gotham city… Truly, truly Starfire was clearly showing what many humans feared would become in allowing aliens to live among them. Not that many held great trust in the tamaranean. She didn't exactly blend like the kryptonian… Starfire's green eyes whipped around mildly as the spotlights came. The whirling sound of helicopters above. Felt the many random eyes upon them… Remaining a hold on the Penguin, but all at the ready to fire at any attacks that might come… Somewhere deep inside, far far within the cell of her mind. Starfire had to wonder at the cameras…. The news… Was he watching? Even at the thought of his name. The brief glimpse of his face. Her golden hand ever so lightly trembled… She was so, so far from home.
In the whole confrontation happening before her, Starfire remained merely observant. Though it did strike her odd, that a man in Penguins position would ask for an agreement, rather than just coughing up what they needed. Was easier and potentially closer for not to his insides burnt out, depending on how much Scarecrow wanted and how many loose ends. Starfire casually looked over the Scarecrow. Her controller. Her puppeteer. Her master. Which ever he truly was to her. There was something stella in him, he brought danger and fear through ease. Stillness. But did he have agreement truly in his eyes? Or is he simply out to get what he wants? As much as one could ask what he was going to with Starfire once this was over, she didn't feel it was freedom… No, that was something she was gonna have to bite down her teeth for and bide her time… Starfire flinched, but only slightly in her own grasp at the back of Penguin's head, as Scarecrow made to close the gap. Clasping his own hand at Penguin's throat. Even as he stepped close, Starfire herself glimpsed this monster that he was, only she less afraid of anything, than simply intrigued.
"Tell him! Or you're going to have a lot more to fear than a second degree burn!"
Starfire added whether or not the master needed it or not, but it certainly couldn't hurt. As Starfire felt just that inch of a degree warmer in the palm that held Penguin. Potentially burning a hair or two, but of course in her threat, hinted she was far more dangerous. Far more given she was in Scarecrow's control. Her voice darkly spoke in Penguin's ear, while her eyes flashed upon the Scarecrow. Who's hand tightened around Penguin's throat… The sound of the helicopters were still circling. Potentially closer. Green eyes darted mildly as voices or maybe it was a voice calling out through some sort of megaphone, causing it to bounce a little on the surrounding acoustics. Starfire didn't grasp all words, but potentially could try to throw a spanner in getting this plan done. Looking to master as if to ask if he wanted. If he needed her to take care of this, but could Starfire really leave him with the Penguin!

Oswald urked as his throat was grasped by Jon and his shoulders stiffened as Starfire added her own threat. This was becoming increasingly dangerous, while Jonathan was highly unlikely to kill him out right due to his obsession he was less certain of the Scarcrow's little pet, particularly in her current mental state. He could only assume Jonathan had done something to her to gain her loyalty, presumably more of his drugs. What he wouldn't give for that little secret. To control someone as powerful as Starfire...He'd have to look into that if he survived this ordeal with enough sense to remember the idea.
Greed must come later. Money and power couldn't help the dead and it did very little for the insane in this city "You still require funding, I could provide you a new laboratory" Oswald strains out the words around the hand on his neck. He'd destroyed Jonathan's former base of operations, while Oswald knew he would have set up a new one he was certain it could never be as sophisticated as something Oswald could offer. In the end it was always money with him.
"Name your price" Oswald almost snarls out the words, he's avoiding answering Jonathan's question. He didn't want to play into the Scarecrow's insanity and hurry him on the inevitable path to breaking out the fear toxin, the longer he could stall that the better, he didn't want to even imagine what he'd see.
A quick glance was shot at the helicopter and Oswald wishes it was one of his. Keeping helicopters full time was a little inefficient cost wise but he had the ability to quickly arrange the use of a few. Sadly it was only the police which he considered almost as useless as the news helicopters who were starting to circle "You are surrounded! Surrender and come quietly or we will be forced to open fire!" Came a voice on a megaphone outside. It seemed the police had ended up in charge of the situation much to their dismay and Oswald's general displeasure. The only plus side was perhaps they would be distracting and some of them would die to Starfire, making up for the loss of some of his better men.

His heart was thudding hard against his chest. Was it because of her? Was it because he had just had thousands of volts shot through his heart? It felt good, it made him feel alive in this world that had killed him. Dr. Crane, ever the masochist in every situation, even one detrimental to his own life. What made his heart come into his throat he wasn’t certain, but it was certainly there and made it difficult to swallow, as if the grip on his neck wasn’t making it hard enough.
This was beginning to drag out far too long. With heilocopters, sirens, chaos, megaphones and the beautiful symphony of people screaming he knew that they didn’t have much time. He wanted to stay and do more but with the authorities close at hand and beginning to demand their surrender it was time he demanded what he wanted.
Dr. Crane had no problem letting Starfire speak. The more he could get the look of fright on his enemies face the better. Starfire was certainly one that could intimidate people like Mr. Cobblepot. They were always so set in their way of doing things, all it takes is a little change to ruin everything. He could smell the singe of his hair, or what was left of his painfully receeding hairline. He deserved to burn, but not tonight.
What? A price? Did he really just ask him to name his price? Did he not remember the last time he gave him a lab. Dr. Crane was never one for wealth in the first place. Lavish living wasn’t for him as the funds could be better put to use for his research. There was never anything that he really ever needed the money for. This made him different from the other professionals when it came to bribes and extortion.
No, Dr. Crane couldn’t be bought with paper.
However, there is something he wanted. Something that he came here for. ”Don’t burn him yet Starfire” He made her calm so that he could speak without him bursting to flame.”Ast I said before, you have something of mine. Where is she?” His tone asked him hard and serious. He wasn’t going to take much more stalling and as the police threatened….
It was time to decide.

Starfire really was much, but a vessel for however the Scarecrow thought to see fit his plan or plans unravel. She was all, but gone. Out of control, just not out of control as in simply letting go. She was far more gone. In control by another, but in all his ways to control her. Potentially didn't know 100% who or even what he was truly controlling. The shear power was one thing, but how much could you really control, before you control instinct, but if memories pays proved. Instinct was even harder for Starfire to fight… If anything he had given her the reins, but surely if she was a ticking time bomb. He knew how to cut the cord…. Then, all that was now beneath her golden fingers was a Penguin. Certainly there was something deep inside, even despite his reputation, she wouldn't ultimately kill, although to say it wouldn't exactly cross her mind, that something no one could truly really guess, but once could assume he'd have better chances. Not that Starfire was ever really one to show such great kindness in battle. She was after all bred and raised as a warrior. That instinct was harder to lose, than simply her mind…. The threats made, certainly wavered in their favour. As Starfire's bright green eyes looked upon the strained Penguin coughing up his… Plea? Bribe? All of which Starfire wasn't sure she truly cared about it, unless of course the master did.
"If I can do this to your ice castle… You really think a laboratory is out of reach?"
Not that Starfire was trying to reach, but it hardly seemed anything…. Seriously. As Starfire didn't even have to turn Penguin far to see the damage done upon his Castle or whatever it was called. It was all but puddles now. To break in and take a laboratory, just sort of seemed a walk in a park, perhaps depending on the laboratory, but it could be done. If that was what the master indeed wanted. As in the tone of Starfire's voice. Suggesting to reach a little harder. The Scarecrow wouldn't have her in his palm, if not to use her. Not of course something Starfire deep down would want, but she really wasn't one to entirely protest, other than internally. It really was hopefully only a matter of time. She wasn't the most revenging type, but piss her off enough, one may regret it… Just as the tips of her fingers began to sizzling in more heat, taking all but a couple of hairs. The master stopped her. With the simplest nods, if it even was one. There wasn't any hesitation. Her green eyes were taken remotely at times to the hovering that was trying to surround them… Feeling. No. Knowing if they did unleash fire. She'd be forced to unleash her own…. How many more would that be? Though as Starfire the Terrible, she really didn't have the choice. Nor did that part care… As now calm, with the Penguin still restrained. The Scarecrow, made his demand. Right, the girl. Someone Starfire wasn't really sure she really even knew prior. She usually remembered names. Especially faces. This, was merely faint, but whatever the master wanted. He was was gonna get in spite of anything else. Perhaps he wasn't a monster any different than he claimed.
"Ah, Scarecrow… We have company!"
Starfire voiced her master's name, but it was probably going to be unavoidable, if they didn't wrap things up. There was probably little chances of that. As a bullet, almost silent flew in direction. Missing perhaps its target, but grazing Stafire's shoulder. From the hand that which faintly shook at the grapes of Penguin, but Starfire certainly felt something of the bullet, grazing her skin like a pebbled creating ripples in a river. Instinctually returned with her free hand. Shot a starbolt in the direction of the chopper. From someone… Some of the people, saw as a symbol of hope. They now saw the symbol of destruction. This was a more full flip on her aggressive passion. It would burn and burn hard. As Starfire's words remarked out the obvious, but Starfire didn't unleash from her position without permission.

Oswald's attention divided, trying to work out just how close the police were to acting on their threat and screwing things up even more. He was not a well liked man with many of the police, he wasn't entirely convinced he might not 'accidentally' be caught in the crossfire if it came down to it. Starfire demanded thought, most predominately the thought that he may somehow be able to escape her uncomfortably warm grasp. He was waiting for her to relax, to become distracted. Quite what he'd do if he did get free he's not entirely certain but it would be step one and he mentally noted that she was out of control enough to think and talk. While he didn't imagine Jon would accept the gift of a new lab just to have Starfire destroy it if she could think she could be distracted from her task. Though he didn't enjoy the jab about what she'd done to his place, he really needed to discover a weakness for this woman and destroy her one day.
This was one issue with threatening a man like The Penguin, Jon could hold his neck, it would worry him and the worry shows but the moment he was past the initial shock he'd start thinking, get past that babbling scared mode so many inexperienced people get into when they're backed into a corner. People threatened Oswald all the time, if he hadn't seriously beefed up his security they'd still be trying it on at least a weekly basis. It was all part of the job, his part was practically instinct. People forced his help because they needed him, he'd give them what they wanted and they'd go away because some day they'd need him again. Did Jonathan need him for something? Of course, he was still talking. Whether it was something he wanted to give was another matter.
Jonathan's words finally stop Oswald trying to watch for cops out the corner of his eye and he focuses on the Scarecrow. Where is she? Who's she?
Oswald's eyes narrow as he quickly goes through everyone of importance he can think of before he even considers people actually connected to Crane. Jon didn't usually even have associates to consider and Heather ranked so low on importance he'd been planning to leave he to rot for the next few months just to see if that improved her attitude. She was a pawn, nothing more but now this?!
Ozzy's eye twitched "All this was to get her back?...HER?!" He squawked the last word with rage and seethed as he strained against Starfire's grip a little harder, using the helicopter's destruction instinctively as a distraction to kick and punch out at Jonathan as a little ball of furious rage that blinded him to the idea that he had something to offer as a way out. He could handle the idea that Jon had come for revenge for Oswald destroying his lab and taking his things, the destruction of the club made him angry and he wouldn't let it go unpunished but he could call it business. To destroy it for some insignificant, orange haired, idiotic little brat of a she-devil though! He took that personally.

When he originally planned to get back at the Penguin for beating him senseless and taking his property he knew that Starfire was one of the only choices he could make. When it came to Mr. Cobblepot there were only two things that got his attention and that was the flow of income and his status in what he called society. So if he wanted to get his attention he was going to have to destroy both at once. Starfire was the perfect choice for this, a being powerful enough to level the city if she wished. There was so much more he could do with this, but it would have to wait for a later time. For now she was under his control for this purpose, the purpose of getting VerMillion back where she belonged.
It was out of his character to pursue a woman for this long, especially one that was a kidnapped case. There wasn’t just one incidences of kidnapping there were two, but to him it was completely different than what people saw it as. He knew what people were saying about him and her, but they could say whatever they wished. It wasn’t what they thought and the truth of it was so much more than they could ever begin to understand. She was the perfect expression of fear, she was his and that was how it was going to stay.
Starfire was right…..Law enforcement was upon them and they were running out of time. ”Stall anyone that comes onto the roof…..take out anything in the sky.” He responded to her harshly and expected her to follow through. The police would be on the roof before they knew it but he wasn’t planning on staying here that long. There was no point, he had lost and now he needed to give up the information. He couldn’t be bribed he couldn’t be bought, he wanted the girl.
Mr. Cobblepot’s spat of anger went through his ears and didn’t register properly, maybe they were both having a listening problem. He grabbed and twisted the puffed collar of The Penguins suit and jerked him away from Starfire. He knew he couldn’t hold his weight, but the artic coward wouldn’t dare try to run from him with Starfire standing right there. ”That wasn’t an answer to my question… His from towered over the shorter man as he continue to bite his harsh words. ”Where…IS…SHE?” The doctors voice finally rose as his patience was beginning to run thin. They were out of time and Penguin would have the chancew to escape if he would just be smart enough to cooperate with his demands. Given long enough this was going to be ugly for everyone….But in the end he would get what he wanted.

The tamaranean princess, X'hal maybe Tamaranean slave once again was more fitting. Somewhere deep down. Really deep down she was there. Somewhere, but right now. Whatever part of her was here, was that shell. Instincts here and there, as controlled as she could be, you really could make her 100% human, but she did stand her ground. Mere feet from her master. From the scarecrow. Hmmm yes was impressive, maybe more so under this spell. It was a little like the moth drawn to the flame as odd as the roles reversed. Still clutched in her sturdy grip was the Penguin. Really up at this point she hadn't really seen much of him. Impressed? There certainly was a lot more she bound to see. What threat was a man, maybe he was part bird with an umbrella. Somewhere Mary Poppins took a dark trip down wonderland, Starfire was sure. His mouth trap certainly jolted shut when she pointed out destruction she had caused. Wasn't by choice. Accident, but she confident in this vessel she made her point. Destroy Labs? Not exactly what the tamaranean meant, she was merely pointing out that if the Scarecrow wanted something, she really wasn't out of reach to get it for him. If he wanted a Lab, whether destroyed or up right, it would be unlikely to stop her. She was more powerful than even Scarecrow could imagine. Was imagining.
Despite this lovely get together of the three, hushing things out, making demands and bantering. They really weren't alone. Creating such chaos certainly attracted and it attracted more than on lookers. The Police and law enforcement, the cities attempts to fight back. As cautious as they were approaching. Letting their voices be known, asking for the surrendering before they would fire. Really? It was a little bad timing, but something they couldn't ignore. As powerful as Starfire was, Scarecrow as far as she knew wasn't bullet proof. He'd need protecting. Far more than from being shark food. She was still sure she could smell fish sticks. Flinging off a random bit of shark flesh from her hair. Her sharp ears caught Scarecrows command. Confirmation that she could indeed take some action. Take up some defence. Green eyes shifting from the master, to the many flashing lights that surrounded. The faces and the choppers. It was a little like war, with the destruction already made it was very much a battlefield. A battle she was strong enough to face.
"I will… You have my word!"
Simply and assuringly Starfire responded, perhaps it was less given she would have no choice but to do as he said. Clutched her free hand that sprang a light warm pink glow.. It was really just how it was. Though he didn't need to control how she would, she was a trained warrior. She was trained to go to war… Feeling the tingle in her shoulder from the mere graze of the bullet that had sprung. Opened fire and Starfire had sure returned the favour. Knocking a car, perhaps it was a van off its wheels somewhere down below. The sounds of choppers swirled. Grew louder and louder. It was almost deafening. As one attempted closing behind. With a sweep of Starfire's hand she sent a sharp blast of a starbolt. Causing a deep wound in the machine's engine. Causing the havoc spinning. Crashing. Luckily in the other direction to the building behind. The sounds of glass and metal breaking. smashing. Though being that it was war and it had only began. There was no doubting where there had been one. There would be another and another. It was just in this moment. Perhaps the Penguin could really try, slip from her strong grasp as she felt the rapid movements. Apparently trying to inflict damage on Scarecrow, but it failed it seemed. As Scarecrow was only drawn in and took for himself a tight grasp at the Penguin's neck. In the pull, Starfire let go of her hold. It was in just time as well, though if Penguin would try, Starfire would no doubt be more than his match alone. Though right now… As three choppers opened with rather heavy fire now, from the right. it was much like a in coming wall of bullets. A couple would bounce off the roofs edge, but Starfire took a little flight. To take ground. To stop. To block a few feet from the two questionable villains. Starfire's eyes glowed bright and with hands raised to the air. Before the bullets. With some swirling movements. Building and projecting a massive force from her starbolts. Though unlike the more normal release, Starfire projected it a little most steady. A little more focus. More strength. As the starbolt grew in deep size and strength. Much like a force field. A shield. Stopping the bullets. Purple boots fell planted on the ground, but Starfire did not break from her defence. With more added strength in her projection. In a shear amount of force, Starfire pushed the large starbolt forward, driving and letting the blast finally go. Shooting like rapid pink fire towards the choppers. Taking them all out. Whether pushing them back, spinning, falling to the ground or simply crashing into one another. Out stretched hands that tingled from the impressive heat, fell a little, but there would always be something more. As the movements attempting at some of the edges on the roof caught her attention. Taking a little more flight again, but didn't leave the roof area.

Oswald squawked as his collar was once again grabbed and he was nearly pulled off balance, the movement breaking his rage long enough for him to at least notice the helicopters. He still looked enraged, the angry snarl returned within seconds but his head still shrank down under the Scarecrow's anger. He was pushing his luck.
The war between his temper and his desire to continue living was one Oswald was very familiar with but while rage always puts up a very convincing argument to keep hitting people Oswald is just a little more attached to his continued existence and at the sight of Starfire clearing the sky he finally accepts the situation. He can't fight this, or more specifically he can't fight her. He was not prepared for this. If he took the fall maybe he would live to rebuild and plan for next time. There would always be a next time. This was far from over and Jonathan would see that when he was ready but the battle was lost.
Oswald's eye twitches as he struggles to get his expression back under control. Regain composure. He still glares but carefully forces out an actual answer to the question "There is a complex under warehouse four in the Eastside business park" Maybe if he was fast he could warn the guards there to shoot the scarecrow on sight but to be honest he'd stopped caring. The club was burning and little else mattered, he was already planning ahead for the future, there was nothing in the prison he couldn't afford to lose and he so wanted Jon out of his sight before he lost his temper again. He'd be happy never to see Starfire again at all.
