When the sounds of Robin on the back of the car suddenly stop, Nina finds herself unable to stop herself from taking a quick glance over her shoulder. She has to see what happened. But the glance shows her that Robin is very much alive even though he's been knocked from the vehicle. She finds herself relaxing slightly in relief about that - even if he's hurt, having him stopped without being killed is about as good of an outcome as she could hope for.
Turning back quickly she listens to the exchange between Jimmy and Edward without comment, but mostly because its a bit of a distraction from what just happened. What draws her attention more easily is the fence that they've reached. She, like everyone else in Gotham, hates that fence. It's doing nothing but acting like the lid on a pressure cooker, causing the city to slowly boil out of control.
A little surprise registers on her face when Allen and Edward's words indicate that they're waiting on someone else to do something, though she realizes immediately that she shouldn't be. If getting out of Gotham were at all easier, she'd imagine that there's plenty of people inside of it that would have gotten out. It only makes sense that even Edward would need someone else play a part in it with that being the case, and she hasn't failed to notice that it was Robin and not Batman who was trying to stop them - she'd guess that Edward has arranged for him to be elsewhere somehow. Trust Edward to be that clever!
She finds herself relaxing a bit further at first when it seems that they're going to have to wait for awhile, though what he says to Jimmy now causes her to look over at Edward with a somewhat blank expression. Not knowing what he's up to now, she hasn't the slightest idea how to react to that statement other than the fact that saying the word 'gun' repeatedly to Jimmy is something that easily catches her attention.

As far as Robin was concerned, Jimmy was entirely sure at this point that there would be no rescue. And at the same time, he wasn't completely disappointed. It was an odd sort of numbness that he felt instead. As if he'd simply come to terms with the fact that he wouldn't be going home today as he'd planned. True that he did agree to this job, but he hadn't really forseen any of it actually happening.
Edward's voice in the back was tuned out for a moment, Jimmy's eyes watching where the car went and then down at his bag at the floorboard of the front seat. His focus drifted, and he didn't seem to have an interest in getting it back. Instead, he shifted himself in his seat so that he could lean back a bit and was completely calm for the moment. Regaining his apathy after he was certain that no rescue would happen, most likely.
When Allen commented on how Robin was lost from the car, Jimmy let out a light sigh and glanced back up at the roof of the vehicle, but said nothing. Instead, he looked back forward to see where Allen was driving, only a bit of interest was held though and for only a short amount of tie before Edward gave futher instructions. Not that they concerned him, but it was probably a good idea to listen.
As the car pulled up to the fence that blocked one of the exits out of Gotham, Jimmy kept his eyes out the window until they were stopped in front of the fence. His name was spoken again, and his attention grabbed.
A gun was going to be held to his head. Wonderful. At that, he leaned forward and glanced back at Edward. "Um.. okay." He said quietly, knowing it wasn't as if he was going to get out of it. "So just.. shoot at whoever tries to stop you?"

Jason managed to get to his feet again. The helmet had taken a hard hit as well. But it had done the job of protecting his skull. As he stood up, he removed the fractured helmet and let it drop to the ground. Riddler wasn't going to lose him that easily.
Robin got to his feet and started making a run for it. There wasn't much brush along the side of the road at this point. He was running straight on at them now.
If anything came his way, he'd have to dodge to get out of the way. Jason was fully aware of what he had gotten himself into, but he needed to make an effort to help those traveling with the Riddler. And he knew one of them as he saw a kid with blonde hair step out of the car and he saw the Riddler preparing as well. Knowing Robin wasn't going to quit.
Jason was ready, he would go for the batarangs and he had many other tools he could use against them in a face off. But he had to be carefully at this point. They had the upper hand and the target coming right at them. Jason's bike was down, so that was out. He'd have to improvise to make ups for lost time, it was just a matter of foot work and his running speed. Of course, he is only human. But he was trained by the Bat.

Edward had a plan. Edward always had a plan. His eyes glanced down at his watch. They didn't have much longer to wait, but it would still be enough time for Boy Blunder to make it to their car. The comment Jimmy makes gets a light chuckle out of Edward. He is in too good of a mood to be completely upset by stupid comments. "Yes, the simple minded could say that," he commented. He had his gun in hand as he cocked it back before throwing open the door. He barely noticed Allen reaching over and grabbing the gun for Jimmy to take off the safety and prepare it to be shot. All Jimmy had to do was pull the trigger. It was easy enough.
Edward felt his fun trinkets in his pockets of his green suit jacket. Edward was always prepared when he actually faced one of the Bat Family face on and not from behind a computer to television screen. His leg prevented quick movements, but he had taught himself how to use his cane similar to Japanese Kendo. Of course, the old Boy Blunder and Batman knew that, but he doubted this new kid had a clue. He probably never took Edward as a physical threat, that was fine. Edward preferred the aim of a gun to a fight of muscle. He opened up the passenger door to the car and not to gracefully pulled out Jimmy who had the gun tucked in his pocket as Allen had told him too. The boy grunted and didn't seem pleased.
Edward ignored him and kept a smile on his face. Deception was the key to any good performance. He knew Nina would respectfully stay in the car, after all, this wasn't her business. This was his, and he loved it. He pressed the gun to Jimmy's head, as his other hand with reached into his jacket pocket. He grabbed a small green question mark and pinned it to the boy's shirt as his hand went to grip the kid's shoulder. He put it there for insurance. The boy, after all, was still a new to the field.
"Boy Blunder, what a pleasure to see you on this beautiful day," he shouted as he pressed the barrel of the gun harder to Jimmy's temple. He heard the boy mutter something, but it went unnoticed. "Gordon Jr. seems a bit a car sick so I would ignore his rambling, but you know what would solve his headaches?" he asked uncaringly, "I would say advil, but I only have a gun on my possession." He smirked, knowing that having a hostage as important as Jimmy would certainly put a dent in the little birdies plans. Edward took another quick glance at his watch as he waited for what the Boy Blunder would do.

Nina frowns to herself but says nothing. She can see where Edward is going with this, and she's not particularly happy with such tactics. But, like Edward assumed, she stays in the car. She can only hope that Robin is quick enough and clever enough to avoid getting shot, but she also finds herself hoping that it isn't to such a degree that Edward is stopped right now. A part of her knows that thought is selfish; if they're stopped now, the end result will not be very good for her. Yet she's also concerned for Edward and his safety - after her experience with the FBI she's quite certain that she doesn't want Edward in their hands, even if he might partly deserve it. But she placed her bet on who would win this when she decided to come along.
She finds herself examining the back of Allen's seat in front of her, now this is something she doesn't want to watch. Her hand goes back to fingering the sunglasses in her pocket and she simply waits to find out what will happen. Even not looking she's certain to be able to tell what happens just by what she can hear.

Jason high tailed it as fast as he could by foot. They weren't a great distance away, but they had manage a good distance since the chance let up. He wasn't going to let the distance stop him from getting to the Riddler.
He couldn't let this happen. He couldn't let the Riddler get away like that. He needed to keep pushing himself. Batman had trusted him with taking down the Riddler. And he knew Batman was too busy at this point to get right out there. And Nightwing....Well Nightwing was of no use in his condition.
Robin ran as fast as he could, ignoring any and all pain he had from the fall as well as the bullet that grazed him. He could let this end. And Jason still had a chance to strike since they had stopped. But why did they stop at that point? Just to taunt him?
But as he got closer, he recognized another figure with them. A short blonde haired boy standing with them. That was Jimmy! He knew that kid from his school. And that was Barbara's younger brother. This was not good at all.
Jason stopped in his tracks when he saw the Riddler pull out a gun and had his hand on the kid's shoulder. A dirty trick to end the chase. Threatening a kids life just to get him to stop there. Robin was a good couple of yards away. But could not risk moving closer at this point. Jimmy was in trouble and Jason couldn't think of this as for himself any more. The tide had turned and Riddler was in full control at this point. Until he could think of some way to help Jimmy.
He listened to the Riddler's taunting about putting an end to the boy. Jason narrowed his eyes and watched the man in the green suit. Giving that all too familiar glare of the bat-family. Though Jason's were closer to Batman's with how much hate he had toward someone putting a stop to his plans.
"Let him go Riddler. You don't need him," Robin shouted out against him. He still stood. He didn't have the advantage of the city's walls and many buildings. He was outside his comfort zone, but could still find away to manage. But at this point...he couldn't risk it. Riddler had the cards in his hand and had the final say at the moment.

He listened to Robin's protest and smirked. This Boy Blunder had not been playing the game long. He was too rash and quick. He also had no intelligence if he thought merely telling him to let him go would solve anything. Now, that he took in the situation, it was almost degrading that Batman had sent this child to come and capture him. He tried not to look to far into it because after all, he was the one who planned for Batman to be distracted with the Joker. It was an insulting truth, but Batman cared more about the Joker then any other rogue. Normally, he would think the favoritism was an example of hidden feelings, but the idea of the Joker and Batman having hidden feelings was a good laugh.
He kept his grip tight on Jimmy. He felt the boy shaking. He was not certain whether it was from the gun on his head or rather what Edward had asked him to do with his own hidden gun.
“Ah, you might be correct in that Boy Blunder, but the boy asked to come.. Who am I to turn down his request?” he smirked, moving the barrel of the gun along Jimmy’s hair. His eyes glanced down at the watch. One minute. Perfect.
“I am sorry, but I really must make my engagement. It would be so unkind if I made my friend work for nothing,” he commented off hand, seeing Allen step out of the car. He moved to the fence with metal clippers. “You should run back home. I believe this is still far too old for you to understand,” Edward ended on a taunting note. If Robin attempted anything, Jimmy would shoot him. The Boy Blunder really not in the position to argue.

Nina watches Allen as he gets out of the car, though that's mostly because it gives her something to look at so that she's not tempted to turn around. Because her attention really is much more on listening to the words being exchanged by Edward and Robin. She just hopes that Robin decides that he's beaten at this point, though she has a difficult time picturing what the young vigilante would risk doing when Edward has his gun pointed at a kid.
Still, her hand is on the sunglasses in her pocket.

Robin just stood and glared at the crook taunting him. Have not wanting to believe what he had said. Had Jimmy really decided that? Riddler may be a crook, but the guy doesn't often lie seeing as most his riddles do have an answer that one way or another leads you to what he has in store.
Jason knew he couldn't risk the move. He saw the gun in Jimmy's hands as well. This whole thing was a set up. Nothing more than a dead end at both exits. He couldn't risk it. He couldn't risk Jimmy getting hurt. Sure the kid wasn't his friend and seemed to hate him. But he was a victim none the less.
And Barbara...Once she found out what Riddler had said. Jason didn't even want to think about it. He knew red heads were fiery. But Babs..she could take it to another level when she got mad which wasn't often to get her completely ticked off. Out of all the bats, she was probably one of the most level headed and calmer of the two. Emotional, but calmer.
Batman was pretty much like trying to read a wall. And Nightwing..well like Batman in ways of rules. But could get moody at times. They all had their problems and they knew it. Never would say it, but they knew it.
But at this time, Riddler held all the cards in his hand. Jason couldn't risk Jimmy's life and either way one of them would be going down. Robin hated to admit it, but Riddler did have him defeat at this point. Batman probably could have done better with this. But Jason would never say it out in words.

Ah there it was, when the other player realizes he has been checkmated. Edward laughed. This new boy blunder was worse then the last, but he had managed to fool the entire Bat Family. They all would realize soon that the Riddler was better then them all. He was always one step ahead, and no one could catch up. He loved this. He loved that frustrated face that boy blunder was showing him. They were all so stupid and beneath him!
Once his plan succeeds, they will all realize that Edward had been in complete control. He pressed the gun a little tighter to Jimmy's temple, and heard the boy grunt in distaste. Allen finished with the fence and headed to the car. "Ready Boss," he remarked before getting in the car.
Edward didn't look at Allen. He took in the moment for a little longer. Selina shutting down the fence, the Joker entertaining Batman, and Boy Blunder making a half hearted escape to catch him....they were all pawns and they had all performed beautifully.
"This is simple. Even a child could keep up," he smirked again, "If you follow me, little Jimmy here will not be returning to class with you." He then walked over to the car with the kid and opened the back door placing him in it. He then opened the passenger door and paused. "Inform Batman that if he wants the next riddle he has to realize their are other heroes in town," the words came from his lips out of compulsion. Consciously he never knew how he forced clues into all of his statements, but it certainly did make the game more challenging.
He got into his seat, shutting the door. "We do have a flight to make," he remarked.
"Shouldn't we kill him boss?" Allen mumbled as he pressed on the gas.
It was a stupid question, but Edward still grinned. "No. No. He has to deliver the message. Besides, I never was a murderer."

Because she's only listening, it isn't until she hears Edward's laugh that Nina knows what the young vigilante has decided to do. She exhales a breath that she didn't realize that she was holding, relieved. Though she didn't doubt Edward, she was definitely worried that Robin might not see and accept when he was beaten.
Though she promised herself not to become attached to Edward's employees after what happened to Robby, she definitely doesn't want to see Jimmy come to any harm. While she can keep herself from becoming attached to the boy, she was rather impressed by his father and would hate to see the man lose his son.
But she finds her feelings settling quickly as Allen drives through the fence, her attention turning quickly to the realization that they're now leaving Gotham and the F.B.I. behind. It brings a faint look of happiness to her face even as she glances over her shoulder to watch the hole in the fence get further away and to see for herself that Robin continues to heed Edward's warnings and allows them to leave now. While she may have hated the method to getting them here, she can't say that she doesn't like the result. If only because nobody died in the process.
