Nora opened the door for herself, sliding into the seat and looking up as the cop spoke. To a degree, she was so glad to get off her feet, her legs ached, her back ached, everything hurt. She probably shouldn't have been up and around yet if things had happened normally in her recovery.
Raising an eyebrow, Nora glanced past the cop to the dark alley where she assumed the featureless man was continuing his wanderings. Seemed odd that a cop didn't mind what he admitted to be a vigilante to meander off...of course, she supposed that might very well have been the perfect way to get him off the streets. Let him die somewhere, forgotten. Oh, that was a cruel thought. Nora scowled to herself, brushing it aside.
Nora didn't respond to the first question, feeling it was rather rhetorical. Well that, and she couldn't have answered truthfully. She was new to this Gotham...it wasn't like she remembered it. This one had gone insane.
As the car pulled out, and she assumed they were headed towards the Police Station, Nora sat quietly, studying the cop. He seemed sort of like her. An average, weary person, stuck in this world of lunatics and self-proclaimed heroes, just trying to survive another day.

Since things with the FBI have really started to heat up, Hawkgirl has been keeping her head down. And for good reason, if recent rumors about how they've been going about their activities are true. She's unsure about just how, well, involved she wants to get. She's never really broken the law, and as far as she's concern it's the right of the country's government to figure out how to police its people. And whether or not they're going too far is something that ought to be up to humans to figure out, not her. On the other hand, when she got word that they were going after vigilantes as well as criminals that rankles. But as far as she's heard they haven't taken the next step of going after outright heroes like herself, so it's definitely better to keep her head down.
Then again, when she spots someone she recognizes limping down an alleyway, she definitely can't overlook that. She reflects momentarily on the fact that she'll definitely get lumped in with the vigilantes if she's spotted helping him, but the odds of that appear to be low and if that happens she's one who can deal with it. And the Question doesn't appear to be in good shape. She doesn't end up pondering the issue for more than a few moments before she slows and lands easily not far in front of him. "Need a lift?" she asks, almost rhetorically.

Wasn't that noise wings? He looked up slightly when the thanagarian landed. Question put his back against the wall of the building for support. To alleviate the pressure off his shoulder. "Haven't seen a purple car around have you?"

The surprised lift of Hawkgirl's eyebrows is obscured by her helmet. "All cars not under a streetlight look black or gray to me at this hour," she comments with a half-smile, "But unless finding this purple car is really urgent, I suggest saving that problem for later." She doesn't know much about humans in terms of health, injury, and medical care except for where not to hit them too hard and how to apply a bandaid, but it doesn't take a genius to tell when one is in rough shape. Especially with the blood and the way he was moving just before she arrived.
A bit more seriously she adds, "I can take you wherever you're trying to go and help you find that car once the sun's up, though." Which she's guessing is the proper order of priorities anyway.

Thats the thing, His car was the point of interest. Of course the color of the car would be skewed, had it really been this dark this quick. Somewhere along the way Question seemed to have lost track of cogent time other than the day, moth, year. Crucial points to remember when one has been smashed in the head or something of that nature.
He nodded slightly to the vocalization of the current state of the light. Though it was a good Idea to find the car, At least then he could take his mask off. "Some point I need to be able to take this" he gestured to his lack of a face "off. An the thing I need to do that is hopefully in my car. It would be too much to think that it hasn't been found yet"

Once again the surprise in Hawkgirl's expression is mostly hidden by her mask, but it comes through in her voice. "You're looking for your car?" she asks, though she's careful not too look too amused by that. She's guessing that there's a story behind that. "If you can tell me exactly what it looks like, it's outside, and it's in Gotham, I can find it. Could be buried in an impound lot and I'd spot it. And it probably wouldn't take me more than a day if it isn't moved around," she comments. Finding an object is so much easier than finding a person that way.
"But, like I said, would have to be daylight. Is that soon enough?" she asks, reflecting on the fact that she doesn't know a thing about his mask. She certainly doesn't have that kind of a problem with hers. Then again, she only wears her helmet for cultural reasons anyway.

"Yeah" He said "I can make it a bit longer than a day. Its a 69 GTO Judge, purple, body is stock, an you have no clue what I'm talking about" He stopped himself before he started to ramble about that car. "would it be easier for you to find huntress?" Thinking on that, He was slightly surprised that she hadn't found him first.
He leaned back again. feeling light headed. "you don't possibly keep track of time do you?"

"Not even a little," Hawkgirl admits, "Cars and I don't work well together. But I can find a picture of one like it and go from that." And at least it sounds like it would be reasonably distinctive, which is a definite plus.
She only pauses for a moment to consider his question before saying, "Now that is a definite possibility if you want something done tonight." Vigilantes are surprisingly easy to spot - probably because they don't generally have to worry about being followed. They're the watchers, not the watched. Criminals are completely different that way.
His last question gets a frown. "Last time I noticed a clock it was just before 10," she answers.

"I thought as much, even with the wings I completely over look the fact your not from here. The woman the drove away with her is pretty intelligent. More than likely its not going to be visible "
"10..." Pushing almost five hours bleeding out maybe more, that couldn't be a good thing. "That would be great,"

Hawkgirl smirks a little at that, commenting, "It's nice to be mistaken as 'normal' every once in awhile." It would probably help if she ever removed her helmet, but she likes keeping herself from forming any strong attachments and never showing her real face helps with that. "And there's visible to humans, and then there's visible to me," she says with a smile, "The only likely reason I wouldn't find it is if it's been covered up completely or hidden in an enclosed garage. I can't see through solid objects." And she can only shrug at that. Her powers of perception are formidable but have their limit, and he'll just have to hope that this woman didn't exceed it or that he has another way to find his car.
She nods at his last comment as she asks, "Want to come with me while I look for her? You wouldn't slow me down, and you'd know her habits much better than I would."

"if we can find her before the night is out. " he understood her about her ability to see things clearer. "are you sure I wouldn't slow you down like this."

"If she's in her normal patrol area, it shouldn't be hard," Hawkgirl says confidently. On the other hand, depending on what she's doing, Huntress could also be incredibly difficult to find. They'll just have to see.
His question gets a laugh and Hawkgirl answers it at first by stepping over to him, wrapping his good arm over her shoulders, putting the arm on that side behind his back, and carefully scooping up his legs with her other arm. Probably not the most dignified way of carrying someone, but between his injuries and the need to carry him in a way that doesn't interfere with her wings limits her options. "Positive. Humans aren't that heavy," she comments as she spreads her wings and easily launches herself nearly vertically into the air. And the ease with which she both hangs onto him and flies suggests that she really means that, in spite of the fact that he's actually bigger than she is.

Lucky for him, what other people thought about him was none of his concern. That was their problem not his. Question understood or at least thought he did about the logical reason Shayera couldn't carry him another way. It would either interfere with her ability to fly or strain his injurries further.
"Good to know that hundred an eighty plus pounds is light to you. "
As for the location of huntress, that would be easy. If she wasn't in her area. Locate the mob. She wouldn't be far from them.

At first Hawkgirl flies nearly straight up to quickly gain height in the air, but then gradually she turns her path to a level flight and builds up speed. The only thing that really slows her is the need to be careful while flying through an urban landscape, and she's taking some small precautions about being spotted.
"180+?" she asks, "It'd take two of you to slow me down." And her completely serious tone when she says that indicates that she isn't joking or even bragging, just stating a fact. The city blocks below them pass by quickly; it'll only take a minute or two for them to get to Huntress's area, and with any luck actually finding her when they get there will be just as easy.

"Impressive" To a human it was, specially considering her size. It was rather strange to be this high. He was normally used to roof tops an the like. But this was incredible. no wonder so many wanted to fly.
