Roman Sionis was content. True, all his assets were being siezed by the Gotham City Police and Batman, he was suffering from a twisted vertebrae, and he was down to his last $8,000 in loose cash, but he was alive, and he still had his pistol. He was invincible.
"Old Cobblepot certainly knew how to take care of himself," thought Sionis to himself. True the whole Arctic theme was a little overwhelming at times, but the liqour was fantastic. To be sure, it could never beat the high proof stuff Sionis imported from the British Isles, but it was the kind of stuff that naturally froze the inside of your throat. But perhaps Sionis was only served the best stuff because of the mask, but he wasnt complaining.
Sionis shook himself. Perhaps he was losing his tuch on reality. He had been thinking about things that had nothing to do with his purpose in his actions. Thank goodness his thugs weren't here to see him lose his marbles. A criminal he might be, but being totally off his rocker was the Joker's shtick.
Sionis shook himself. That was the second time in one night it had happened. Then he found he didn't care. He didn't have anything planned. This was just a little time to himself. Just an average night.......

"Where's Ozzy?" the Riddler proclaimed when he walked past the hostess in his green suit attire.
"Mr. Nigma, we have other guest," the hostess in her penguin attire protested. Edward only gave her a side glare. Cobblepot was charging him a fortune with interest. It was criminal. He said he pay the small man for his black market goods once he had the money. He always paid Cobblepot, but he was slightly strapped for cash at the moment. He didn't deserve to have the interest rate jacked up to such an unreasonable level. He also didn't deserve the threatening message. Edward frown only deepened at the thought. He was the Riddler. He might be an a questionable business, but he always paid back his investors.
He should have waited before purchasing Nina's apartment, but he would never admit to her his current financial predicament. It was a puzzle, and he was always good at solving them. Yes, he already had the solution to the problem if Cobblepot would give him those explosives.
"Jennifer," Edward began in a soft sweet voice, "I understand that their are other customers, but if your boss continues to screw me over a grudge he's holding it will not be a riddle of what happens to his business," he finished in a stern voice with a glare to match. Allen behind him with him AK-47 only emphasized his threat. "Now dear, could you please inform Cobblepot that I want to speak with him." He knew they could settle this matter diplomatically, but his anger was tugging at the end of his shirt. He hated being threatened.
"Mr. Nigma, Mr. Cobblepot is currently not in. He has a meeting with his merchants," she said quickly.
"I'll wait," he pronounced as he headed into the restaurant.
"But...but Mr. Nigma it could be all night," the young hostess shouted back.

Sionis heard yelling and looked over. A moment later he groaned. One of his lesser favorite criminals in Gotham had just walked into the room. It wasn't as if he disliked The Riddler, but the whole green tight thing just wasn't his favorite. Sionis looked over and called to The Riddler. "Hey, Ed, get over here you psychopathic genius!"
Sionis wasn't really expecting Edward to come over, but it might just be worth it to figure out what he was yelling about. Plus, Sionis wanted to dangle the fact that he had just recieved an order of a dirty bomb in Ed's over-confident face.
"Let me buy you a drink! Waiter, the finest you have," Sionis called to first Edward and then a very timid looking waiter. The night was beginning to look better......

Edward frowned when he heard one of those horrible nicknames. Was it impossible for anyone to call him by his real name? Okay not Nashton, but Edward. He didn't believe it took a large amount of brain power, but it obviously did. His eyes immediately found the source of the voice. Oh joy...
He didn't hate Roman, but he also didn't enjoy his company either. The man was a gangster in Edward's opinion. No different from Thorpe, Falcone, or Maroni, to him. He would never quite understand why the public media deemed the man a 'rogue.' He wore a black mask, oh so threatening. Sarcasm obviously, to those to imcmompentant to know that. He also didn't enjoy the psychopathic comment. Edward was not insane. Definitely not.
Though a large part of him just wanted to walk in the other direction and completely ignore the man, he knew that wasn't the intelligent option. Black Mask had influence in the city, and Edward would prefer not to have another enemy on the streets.
Mentally preparing himself, he forced a smile as he walked over to the man's table. "I've never been one to illogically turn down a free drink," he stated calm, but there was an edge in his tone. He was still furious at Oswald. When would the annoying bird be back?
He took a seat across from the man wearing a mask. "Doing anything of interest?" he asked with bare minimum concern to the topic. His eyes had darted to the executive door Oswald would walk out of if he ever left.

Sipping his drink very slowly and deliberatley, Roman stared into the eyes of the Riddler. This was one of the upsides of the mask; nobody could read his emotions. Consequently, Eddie couldn't possibly know that Sionis was taking huge amounts of pleasure from the completly cluelessness of Eddie. "Oh, not much. Ruling Gotham, killing my opponents....recieving shipments of 25 kilogram radioactive warheads." Sionis knew from his extensive research that Nigma held a certain fetish for crimes involving dirty bombs. He might sell the warheads to Nigma, or he might just dangle them in his face for a little while before using them himself. Either way, Roman couldn't wait to see Edward's face.

It was unlike Freeze to make big appearences. But Cobblepot had a deal with Freeze, that extended into his profits. Freeze didn't like Cobblepot nor many of his "associates" but it was a cold and harsh world that is unforgiving as a harsh winter storm. With a loud and sudden voice, "Greetings gentleman". The penguin sure knew how to create a base, cold, damp, and harsh just like Freeze.
"How are you Edward?, still using those riddles of yours to fool batman?" Freeze then turned to Black Mask someone who he never really cared about yet knew he had a share in Cobblepots insurances or lack of for that matter. Insurances didn't matter to Freeze as long as the job and the long term affects were in shape. Freeze pointed his gun at the cigar box and pulled the trigger with chilling determination, the solid blue and white beam of energy struck the cigars on the table and froze them solid in mere seconds. He then walked over and smashed the table.
He then looked at Black Mask, "You do realize that those cigars and alcohol are decreasing your life-span and keeping your body warm, which makes you nervous and human to say the least" Freeze aimed his gun at the ground near the table, pulling the trigger, after he adjusted the gun, the beam projected and with the light arm movements an ice chair was made, which Freeze then sat on. "How long has it been since we had the gang together?" Freeze disliked saying that but he had to make conversation interesting. After all he was only here for the check that cobblepot was going to give him.

Word on the street was there was a themed club. Costumes, liquor, themes, and money. Thoses things Catwoman could do. As she stood at the front, her toned, curved form clad in purple leather tonight, she was curious.
Shown where the bar was by a flick of the head of the bird-adorned woman, she raised a brow. It seemed this may be a place to fence items, even. Making her way to the bar, Catwoman sat neatly on a stool, waiting until her turn for some refreshment.
This was a good time to take in the patrons in all their colourfully clad glory, and take notes.

Freeze looked at both the Riddler and Black Mask. "Gentleman, I think it is time we call the gotham villians for a meeting. We only do so twice every year, but if we don't act now we all will end up in Arkham. Batman, batgirl, nightwing, and Martian Manhunter as well as GCPD have been cracking down on all our assests. Last week they took out twenty five percent of the mobs holdings in Russia and Ireland. The week before that GCPD SWAT teams discovered the location of our old bases. Lucky the Penguin and the Riddler were able to remove the credit and assets into a newer vault. It's time to call the meeting. I have a plan but it requires all of our efforts, and the city will be shakened"
Freeze had finally made his move. He wasn't one to think of grand schemes but his molecular and scientific intelligence allowed him to create a scheme that was balanced by the biggest gangster in gotham, one of the smartest man in Gotham, and one of the wealthiest in Gotham. The Last meeting the Supervillians had ended in a brawl between Two-face, the Joker, and Hush. Every year the meeting was held in outside locations. Every year new weapons and new ideas were placed on the board. Picking someone to lead the meetings was always hard. Freeze usually stayed out of the policy makings, until now.
Many of the criminals were arrogant, dim witted, or insane. Unlike Freeze, who knew how to deal with matters effectively and subtle like. Instead of blowing up half of Gotham like the joker or holding people from ransom. Money never interested Freeze, but it was a tool that he needed for research that would cure Nora. The cure was taking Freeze years to perfect, but he was closer than he was ten years ago.
Things weren't looking great for Freeze's associates. Most were dead, imprisoned, or roaming the streets biding their time to act with full force. The ones remaining were the most cunning and the most naive. Arrogance and Ignorance invaded their minds, occasionally Freeze's. "Roman, we are going to need your tactics and strategy to make the plan work, If you contract me to work for you, in the next few weeks, I will need your help later. I think it is time that we take one of batman's own and take them as insurance, we do that and Batman won't touch us... Lets say Barbara Gordon. We get the commisioners daughter, we hold the commisioner who will inturn stop batman from hurting us. Then we leave a mark in Arkham blowing up what we can, and releasing whoever we can. I'll talk to our friends in Metropolis and see if they can get ms. Lane, we have both then neither superman nor Batman will hurt us. Once we release them, we take over Gotham split up the areas with two or three villians per district."

A rather oddly clad man caught her ear. He was speaking loudly about money being lost. Really. It seemed there were more men in Gotham who couldn't manage their funds that could. Turning on her seat, she listed for a minute longer before slipping down, and walking over to where Freeze was. "Excuse me, but if you're trying to get your money back, I know of a possibility." She nearly purred, her voice low enough for the men to hear, but very else.
"If you're wanting to go against Batman, I'd recommend something a bit more original."

James stood outside the club, infront of the fire exit. He stepped forward through the door and into the atmosphere. Craddock wandered to the bar and ordered himself a drink.
"Bloody Mary" Craddock mused. He grabbed the drink and propped himself against the bar. He saw his beloved Selina on a table with a few faces he recognized. Selina mention the name Batman and Craddock went cold. He down his drink and it was visibly passing through his body. Craddock the order another drink and walked over to the table.
"Pardon me but, Batman you say?" Craddock sat at the table "I'm in"

Roman watched Freeze destroying his cigars with no emotion. "Those are expensive, you know." Impassively watching as Freeze sat down, he pulled another cigar from his inside jacket pocket. Always had a spare.
The first emotion he felt since his pleasure at Eddie's disbelieveing face was surprise at the entrance of Catwoman. Did she ever take off that purple leather suit of her's? Probably not, but hey, Roman wasn't complaining. There were advantages to a skin-tight leather suit.
The second emotion was pleasure. He had always liked the Gentleman Ghost. Sort of an aura of mystique.
The next emotion was interest. Freeze had a point. It had been a while since the underside of Gotham had gathered together. "Good plan, Freeze, but we need a more permanant solution to the Batman. The Commissioner can't stop Batman from doing anything."

Catwoman smirked at that comment. "You fellas know the best way to incapacitate a man?" She smirked, finding a chair and sitting down. "Find him a woman to occupy his time. Or something that will draw him away from all this, so we can play."
While it was damn good advice, an inkling of doubt crept into her mind, despite that cheshire grin playing on her lips. Batman could be occupied, but even better would be the man behind the mask kept busy. But as far as her knowledge went, no one knew whom he was.
Biting her lip, Selina had a thought. Not the best thought in the world, but hell, it would more than likely get results better than ice would. She'd have to visit someone of her own calibre. A woman.

The conversation was going well. If only Cobblepot was here than things could really be moving. But Freeze knew that his main purpose was to get Nora's cure which he was working tirelessly on. The more batman appeared the longer it took for him to re-build his life and his wife's life.
"Your right, what about that Billionaire Bruce Wayne. I know that a new galery walk for gotham's entertainment and art science show will be coming, Wayne usually has a party for those things. If some of can go undercover and get into his party. Then you could use your time to create a pre-occupation while the other villians head to Arkham to release some of our allies. The comissioner usually goes and Arkham is far away, security will be light. We will split our teams up. Ghost and the others will head to Arkham. Catwoman and her friend can go undercover. While Black Mask, his men, Me, my men, and my polar bears Altra and Shaka, no one would dare move a muscle. But we would only be stalling them, and we would need the money to buy more weapons.
But we need Ms. Lane as insurance. She is the clumsy reporter who can't keep her mouth shut about anything" Freeze liked the idea of getting the annoying reporter and making her feel terrible in fact the idea warmed him. "She did a cover story of my wife and blamed me for her condition, pathetic, insensitive woman" We keep her for as long as we need her, then we hand her over to the joker and he can do whatever he wants. Except rape her or kill her. Then we tell them that if they want the violence to stop, that batman reveal his identity, and his accomplices identities as well. After that we imprison them in Arkham along with Superman" "Though we do have a problem that hinders this; money. Without finances this plan will crumble after we crash the party. Someone needs to contact Lex Luthor and tell him to open a new account for us and the coming plans ahead"

Edward sipped the apple martini that the bar tender naturally put in front of him. No waitress or waiter was stupid enough to bring him scotch or whiskey. Okay honestly, plenty of waiters lacked any basic knowledge, but all within Iceberg knew he only drank his apply martinis. The only time Edward drank hard liquor was after a particularly hard day. He thought of the last time, and he inwardly frowned. He listened to Victor go on with his ridiculous plan. It lack creativity or any challenge. You do not reveal Batman’s identity through threats. You deduce it through logical clues that you make through obscured riddles. The point of Batman’s identity was a riddle after all. Victor’s plan was similar to going to a website for cheat codes. It was lazy. He studied Selina from afar. He had come to the conclusion that Selina and the Batman were on good terms, but it appeared his facts were incorrect….unless this was a rose.
Then again, Selina always enjoyed pretty objects more then men. A typical woman if he ever saw one. She lacked depth. Where the hell was Oswald? He just wanted his biochemical weapons and then he could start on his legitimate plan. His affair at the Iceberg lounge was only supposed to acquire a partial space of his time, but instead it was dragging out far more then comfortable. He was also being forced to communicate with people who considered themselves intelligent because they had some unique attribute. He rolled his eyes reaching in his pocket for another lollipop. He had better things to do then listen to this nonsense, and the fact was only confirmed by Victor’s last statement.
“Luthor and I have had questionable affairs recently,” he stated, not even looking at the others. His eyes were glued to his candy. He would not ally with Luthor. The man was meant to be a challenger not an ally. He actually held a reasonable amount of intelligent which meant the man could easily stab him in the back without a moment notice…or threaten to make him a terrorist under US Homeland Security and kill your henchman…oh wait he had already done that. No, Edward would not be getting involved with him in that way. Edward had another plan for Luthor. Saudi Arabia was quite a beautiful country after all, though he never enjoyed the heat. “So unfortunately I will not be able to participate in your…game of feed the hippo…I mean child’s game…or is it criminal master plan,” he chuckled to himself, “No, I think my first description was the best.” He plopped his lollipop in his mouth and pushed himself off the chair with his cane.
“I did quite enjoy the company. I must thank you for reminding me of how failure looks like,” he stated as he nodded to the other men. He glanced at Selina for a mere moment. She would fit into his plans soon enough. She was a key piece to Batman after all. He smirked. They were all merely pawns. Pathetic pawns. “Good night,” he said with a wave and turned towards the door to Oswald’s private area.
When someone stopped him. He glared. “Get me Oswald now, or I will help you solve the riddle of what happens to the middle man,” he growled out.

It was clear Riddler had nothing to do with this, which was ok. Freeze could care less about anyone except Nora, Altra, and Shaka. Indeed where was the fat monocle wearing wealthy penguin. It was getting on Freeze's nerves. After all he was only saying ideas, nothing that he really thought of. And if he did he would have incorporated the Riddler and the others.
Checking his watch, it had been two hours and no sign of Cobblepot; a dreary sign of no hope. Crowds weren't his thing. Freeze had decided right then and there to stay out of sight and mind. Focus on getting that Cure into the next stage of the disease. Sure batman was insurance, that was detramental to his research, but that didn't matter. The lot of them could be frozen and melted like ice cream sitting on a bench on a hot day.
Freeze immediately got out of his seat. And walked over to catwoman, whispering in her poignant ear "I'll be needed your...abilities soon for something special, you will get paid, and possibly even something more worth than money" Catwoman was a useful ally, considering she was crafty and effective with most tasks. Freeze then walked to the waitress "Tell Cobblepot he has three days to give me the money" With an icy attitude Freeze walked out and drove off back to his icy confines.
