Ghost and Superman had been brawling for hours on end. The realm of the dead had been almost destroyed from the pair's epic struggle. Craddock flew to a stalactite in the underground prison and impaled it with his cane. The rock began to splinter and crack and fell towards the floor. Craddock watched as the rock rained down on the Man of Steel. Ghost then sped down to Superman, his fist raised.
As Craddock reached the hero, he saw the glint of metal wrapped around his fingers as the bodies collided. The Nth metal that Superman had managed to obtain was being used as weapon against Ghost. Craddock tumbled backwards as the metal collided with his face revealing his true from. Craddock's face was still young but his skin was pale and cracked. A mixture of flesh and bone covered his body. His clothes changed from a dazzling White to a deathly black with rips, tears and bloodstains. Craddock rolled backwards on the floor as his body turned back into that of a human, his attire tattered and torn, struggling for breath. In the blink of an eyelid, The Ghost was present again, kneeling on the ground, staring into Clark's eyes.
"Very Well" He panted. "Forget The blasted Eye, I can claim an even better prize. The death of the one true superhero. The murder of Superman"
Craddock leapt forward into a roll, sprung of his heels and flew vertically upward. He roared towards the roof of the cave, outstretching his hand. A portal opened before him which he darted threw. It was a sunlight after noon over Gotham, Ghost closed the portal behind him to see Superman slowly disappear with it. Ghost flew to the nearest building to rest. He landed softly and leant against an air conditioning unit. He glances around and notice a slim physique in the shadows. The outline of a woman approached him. Craddock clutched his cane but was too exhausted to do anything with it, but he was ready.
"Stop." He growled. "Friend or Foe?"

The tumbling on her rooftops had caught her attention, of course. Noise like that could be a cover, but for the moment, it was nothing but distraction. As a voice finally called out to her, she stepped from the shadows, the slim figure clad from head to toe in leather, complete with cat ears.
"Depends on your definition..." She would retort, a hand going to her hip. "And whom you call a friend..."

The night had been nice, Freeze was making improvements to his suit, gun, and all manor of cryogenics, expanding the reasearch to much that the new era of tech and theory would be ready and powerful enough for Nora. Freeze's thugs and hired scientists were able to make a large base that could house all the supervillians in an abandoned apartment, sealed off by the masking scent of cold and nature. But tonight was time for Victor to take a break and see what things he could cause trouble with. Hearing some talk, Victor took the elevator to the top of a building. In a suspenseful, harsh, and chilling voice "What brings you all here?" Read more: gotham-cityrpg.proboards.com/index.cgi#ixzz1QJ8XD12i

Roman stepped from the shadows into the bluish glow Freeze made wherever he went. For absoloutely no reason at all, it seemed, Roman had turned on one of his paranormal sensors in his headquarters. As soon as it had been turned on, the thing wouldn't shut up. Something was going on in the other realm tonight. Following his sensors, he came to an abandoned apartment building on the outskirts of town. Using the thermal goggles kept in his car for just such an occasion, Sionis deduced that there was at least one NORMAL person inside the building. There was one warm spot and two VERY cold spots. It didn't take a genius to figure out what was happening. After a run up the stairs (a feat that took 30 seconds, but took about a year off Roman's life) Roman looked out upon the strangest gathering he had ever seen. A pshyco, a vixen, and a dead guy all in the same room. It sounded like a really bad joke, in which all of the following walk into a bar.
"Well, well, well. The gang's all here!"

Craddock stared at the beauty stood before him, like a mirage at sandy oasis in an never-ending desert. She was clad in leather from head to toe with boots as long as her thighs. Ghost clutched his top hat and brought it to his chest, standing upright, he bowed gracefully.
"Madam, you are most certainly a friend. James Craddock, at your service.." He said softly. "The don't call me 'Gentleman' for no good reason"
Craddock looked at Freeze. He took a long look at the man's weaponry and attire, glancing him up and down before finally speaking.
"Ah, The Iceman Cometh." Ghost said joyfully "My friend, we are not so different, you and I. Two cold-hearted killers in a warm blooded city."
Ghost then turned to Black Mask. His suit was finely pressed and his shoes buffed and shiny. The pistol in his hand glinted as it caught the midday sunlight.
"Another man after my own heart. A faceless brawled with a fancy of good suits" Craddock turned back to the group "Poetry, Absolute Poetry"
Craddock placed his cane by his side and laid one hand on top of the other upon it's head. He shifted his wait to onside and leant upon the stick. He brought a foot up to cross infront of the other and pointed his toe into the floor.
"So" Craddock mused "What now?"

James. She should have recognized the voice of all things. A quick roll of her eyes as she tried not to smirk with the pleasantries. "Mmm. Good to see you too, James. And I'm guessing these other men..are friends as well?"
Her gloved hand was still resting along her hip, not too far from where she had placed her whip for the night. At least the noise had been something worthwhile tonight, and not just some petty criminals. And if they were petty, well...she could probably help them out with that one.
As Freeze stepped into view, she had to smirk. "Ahh. If it isn't the fellow who can't keep track of his cold, hard cash and needed some feline help?" Catwoman smirked at the iceman, offering a teasing wink.

Selina. How he had missed her. Most would think it impossible for a Ghost to have a relationship with someone of this earth, but they were wrong. Selina and James were truly in love. Selina was the only one that Craddock had willing show his true form to. Her warm touch and kiss was a true comfort to Jim. Only the fires of love and revenge kept him warm in the cold of the grave. Jim often wondered why Selina loved him so. He was nothing special and he could really bring her no happiness he always thought, but after that faithful night, high on a Gotham rooftop, he knew they were destined to be together.
He walked over to Selina and outstretched his hand. James sport transformed back into his true self. His face still young but thin, his skin was pale, cracked and dry. He arm was mainly bone with flesh still clinging to it, his whole hand and fingers were skeleton and his clothes were black, tattered and torn. He took Selina's hand in his and looked her in the eye.
"I have missed you" James said softly "My Love"
James kissed Selina's hand and bowed before her. He knew she liked chivalry and Jim being Jim, manners were not in short supply. James stood with Selina and outstretched his hand to the floor below. The fire portal opened once more with flames dancing from it all around.
"Selina" James whispered in his love's ear. "A present for you"

Freeze looked at James. A man should never try to be friends with someone so cold as Freeze. But then of course it was probably the mans manners, who couldn't shy away from being calm and welcoming. Manners got people killed. Manners can get people hurt. Then when James said that both of them weren't so different, Freeze's eyes widened, though you couldn't tell because of the new goggles. "I am a man of science, and I am a man of ice. I kill if I need to, not because I enjoy it. Though some deaths I do enjoy, are... personal. This city has a scent of warm air that changes with the wind and the tide. When winter comes this city will be trapped in harsh temperatures", Freeze smirked with the thought of batman being too cold to operate in the city.
Freeze then looked at a woman who was clad in leather, purple leather, carried a bullwhip, and bolas. She was very cute, but she wasn't the person for freeze; his cold heart was to Nora. "If it isn't the four legged animal, who can't take her paws off of things she wants, and has an obsession with all things intricate". Freeze was sure his message hit home, but why he decided to talk to this people was a mystery. He didn't own them anything, and they didn't owe him either.

((ooc: hope you don't mind me jumping in. Though might help to stir things up in a bit.)
Taking a break from the in town troubles, Dick decided it was time to see what was going out a bit outside of the main part of the city. So, as Nightwing, he ventured out toward the outskirts of town. He had keep his approach as discreet as possible. The last thing he wanted was for any plotting criminals to know there was a vigilante within the grounds. He had set his motorcycle to a silent mode as he go further into the area.
After a bit of a distance in, he decided to go by foot, leaving his motorcycle hidden and set in auto mode if he needed it. There had been a lot of word going around in the underground criminal world. There was always word going about and it was sometime hard to determine what was true and what was just gossip. Though this word he had gotten hold of made him curious and want to check out it for himself.
Dick has his sources and had always been good at getting in on these kind of meeting if he paid attention enough. After perching himself on a rooftop ledge, Dick could see the bluish glow off one of the rooftops. He used a small pair of binoculars to get a closer look. And what he saw affirmed of what he had heard was not a false rumor. Though with whom would show up was only to be decided by who was most interested. And by the looks of it there were four figures on the roof, one obviously Mr. Freeze and another being Catwoman. But the other two he couldn't tell from where he stood.
Nightwing jumped back down into the alley way and pulled out a few things he had put into a duffel-bag he brought with him. He stayed as hidden as possible as he had been keeping a look out. Dick pulled out a trench coat and put it on, buttoning it up and put on a classic brown hat that it seemed a lot of figures wore. He wasn't concerned about that. He wasn't going for anything classy. He just needed to hit his suit long enough to get some information. And a lot of the criminals wouldn't question many new criminals costumes, more their motives and what they could get out of them uses wise when plotting together. Dick pulled out an ace wrap, which he wrapped lightly around his head to hide his face. Leaving spaces so he could breath, see, and talk. And then he places a pair of sunglasses over his eyes over top of his mask slightly hidden behind the ace wrap. Lastly he pulled out a pair of black work glove to hide his own Nightwing gloved hands.
Sure this was not the most extravagant get up, but it would be enough to maybe get by for a bit. It was every basic and would do the trick for now. Dick made his way to the building he had seen the group assemble. He got into the building by a back entrance and took the stairs to take his time to get to the rooftop.
It didn't take long before he reach the door to the rooftop and he could hear the voices of those standing out there. Well, it was now or never. This was his chance to hopefully infiltrate them a bit. Dick knew to disguise his voice when he spoke, but would stay silent for the most part, only to put in a word or two to keep them from thinking too much into this knew 'criminals' appearance for being there.
He took a deep breath and then sighed and thought to himself, here goes nothing. He opened the door and walked out into the seen of villains on the rooftop. He nodded to them. Keeping his head down for the moment and said in a deeper voice than his usually, "Mind if I join?" Though not really giving them the chance to give him an option, he walked toward some ventilation system to lean up against it. He figured it was best to give off a bold move with being discreet and not disrespectfully to the others there. To them, he would hopefully just seem to be an outsider looking for away to get into the higher ranks of the criminal world. He knew all too well the danger he was putting himself in.

Freeze was unsure of this random person who had decided to join their meeting, he didn't recognize the masked man, then again Freeze didn't go out much. It was getting late, and Freeze was done talking with people who were going to just sit around and not do anything.
"Well, it was interesting meeting you all, goodbye" Freeze blatently lied, because he didn't care for anyone really. Why should he? People have always betrayed each other in times of survival or threat. Freeze would not be the victim, not tonight nor ever. With that Freeze walked away, each step signalling that Freeze had lost interest in the "meeting".

"How's Nora, Victor?" Craddock asked, intending to stop the man of ice dead. He asked this question softly and comfortably but also with seriousness in his voice. James begged to himself that it would work, he needed all the friends he could get for what he was planning.
James then turn to mysterious stranger and looked him over. "Dick Grayson" he thought, once more leaning on his cane. "An ill-disguised Dick Grayson at that". Craddock walked over to the man and tore away his disguise. "Little early for you to be prancing around in your big boy blues, don't you think? Nightwing..." Craddock smiled as he looked at the shocked face of Dick staring back at him. "Don't be so surprised, I knew it was you from the start. Leave the disguise to the big Bat, okay squire?" Craddock brushed his hand over his cane and tightened his grip around the top. "I was planning on Superman first" Craddock said coldly. "But you'll have to do" James drew his sword from his cane and raised it to head height. He brought it down with a mighty blow but was blocked by Nightwing. Outraged, Craddock lunged forward for another blow but was blocked again. He heard the other villains ready themselves around him, and began to smile. "Ready, Blue?" He cackled, and lunged boldly forward.

Dick had been slightly glad to see Freeze about to leave. When Freeze got involved in plans, it wasn't always a good thing. He watched as Craddock seemed to be looking him over. Dick had a feeling he knew what the guy was thinking. This disguise was nowhere near his normal skill level of disguising himself. Dick hadn't work in the vigilante field without that skill. But tonight just wasn't his night.
He had been sloppy with his work that night and it was showing. Hey, either way, maybe he could just rattle them up a bit. As Craddock got closer, Dick didn't move an inch. Then out of nowhere the man tore away the ill wrap job with the ace, the sunglasses falling off along with the hat. And the tench coat torn away. Dick was more annoyed than shocked. Though maybe a bit in between. Dick was definitely off his game that night with his work.
"I'd say more of a perfect timing," Dick replied to Craddock's first remark. He kept an eye on the man, knowing what he would go for first. "I'll admit, not my best work tonight. Maybe a little off my game," he relied coolly to the comment on leaving the disguise to Batman. Dick was just as cable of doing undercover work. More of a rush disguise job that night with what all had been going around in that city.
He saw Craddock make a move for his sword. Just as he had thought he would. Dick quickly pulled out the escrima sticks from their holders on his back. He blocked the first blow made by Craddock. Watching the man's reaction, he knew he had struck a nerve and figured he'd come at him again. "Pretty good for being a bit off tonight, don't you think," Dick taunted the man. As soon as he lunged at him again, Dick easily blocked his hit again.
Dick knew he was out numbered, but he would put up a fight before he would even think of running out on this. Who cares if they discover that quickly that it had been him. He had at least managed to spoil their little meeting for the time being. "Always," Dick returned a smirk in response to Craddock's question. As soon as the man came of him again, Dick blocked the blade again using his escrime sticks in the from of an x. Right away he kicked out with his right leg in hopes of hitting the man in the stomach to knocking him back a few feet.

Roman drew his pistol and prepared to enter the fray. He could hold out in hand to hand combat, but why tire himself out on this little whelp. It wasn't as if the kid was bullet-proof or anything like that.
Slamming a clip into the SIG Sauer P226, Roman aimed in Nightwing's general direction, he began to squeeze the trigger of the handgun as fast as the mechanism allowed. He didn't care about hitting Craddock, it wasn't as if it would hurt the man...er...ghost.
"Freeze! Catwoman! Do something!" he yelled. The idiots were just standing there, and Nightwing had just come interrupted their meeting!

Freeze stopped, someone had asked about Nora. He knew nothing about her! This villians these days were getting predictable and dim witted. Freeze didn't trust anyone but he like some better than others. He like Catwoman and Black Mask. He didn't like the Riddler or the Joker. Now, Nightwing was here, and Freeze had a favor to Catwoman and Black Mask, so he gladly accepted the task, but first replying ''Don't worry about her, she isn't your burden. Freeze then replied to Black Mask, ''No one commands me!". After saying that Freeze fired his gun, which missed and froze the floor of the roof, which would come in useful. Freeze usually never missed, and this was because he had alot of things on his mind, looking at Craddock and Mask, ''Shoot him''.

When Superman disappears, for whatever reason, it's going to attract some attention. And after quickly questioning the surviving witnesses at S.T.A.R. Labs, Hawkgirl was at a bit of a loss on how to find him again. She does not like magic. Not that she lets it get in her way - or more properly, not that the Nth metal in her mace lets it get in her way. Still, with the man of steel missing along with the one who caused it, there was little for her to do beyond go on patrol and hope that there would be a further signs.
Fortunately, her sharp eyes catch a glimpse of a gathering on one of the rooftops - a strange enough activity as it is, but when she sees the one who threw Superman through a portal attacking someone she can't identify immediately, she's all to eager to throw herself into the fray. Not that she's one to back down from any fight, ever. And her first act is to land directly in the path of Black Mask's gun, using her mace and superior reflexes to deflect the bullets that would have otherwise been heading for Nightwing. "Four against one? How very brave you," she says sarcastically as she surveys the gathered criminals. And though she hasn't the slightest idea who the one she's helping is, if he's an enemy of this lot then she's guessing he's a friend.
But she's on a mission, and after her comment her eyes go directly to Craddock. And the way her eyes narrow and the anger seems to just radiate from her as she says, "You!" makes it quite clear why she's here and who she's really after. Not that she cares for any criminal, but in messing with Superman Craddock has earned a particular special place in Hawkgirl's heart - a very, very bad place. But as much as she'd like to ignore everything else and go after him, she does recognize that she has to factor in the others trying to interfere and a possible ally to assist. And while she may be one of the best fighters for justice on the planet, she knows Gotham well enough to know that some of the trickier ones are in this group. Then again, if any of them have the good sense to not get in the way of her overwhelming desire to tear Craddock to pieces then she can save them for another day.
Having made her presence known, she pauses to see what the others will do. While she's all too happy to fight off anyone who opposes her, she'd rather skip that and go right for the ghost if they let her.
