Alfred arrived at the grocery store, he had a handful of things on the list to get for the manor today and rather not put them off. As he walked down the first isle he made sure to avoid a rather fast moving young woman in a hurry. His eyes went wide a moment before moving aside. “Pardon me.” He said noting she seemed oblivious to him as she darted along.
As he continued onward he began to pick out the items he needed, master Drake went through things to spread on bread products like they were water from a fountain, he suspected it was his young self being eager or something. Turning the cornering he adjusted his outfit a more causal suit for out in public when not escorting Master Bruce.

It's always hard to go grocery shopping for Jon. For Heather herself it's easy - anything that can just be thrown into the freezer, and then into the microwave when she's ready to eat it. But Jon seems to be rather reluctant to eat in the first place, so she tries to find things that are a bit more tempting. And yet they still need to be within reach of her limited cooking skills - she has to remember that if VerMillion takes over while it's cooking, she'll be lucky to get back to it in time. Soups and stews are good ideas for that reason. You get tired of that after awhile though. Maybe she should invest in a slow cooker...
Pondering these things as she stands with a shopping basket over her arm, her eyes skimming over the offerings in the canned food aisle. Hmm, canned spaghetti sauce... it sounds delicious and it's very tempting, but her last attempt at spaghetti didn't go so well. Overcooked pasta is just awful! Perhaps she should stick with tomato soup...
In spite of the fact that she's being searched for by... well, everyone, Heather's not too concerned about trying very hard to hide herself from sight. Yes, her face got plastered all over the news for awhile, but the funny thing about that is that mostly people remember her hair. It is her most distinctive feature, but she has it mostly tucked up into a baseball cap at the moment. That plus the fact that she's alone, doing totally normal things, is enough to cause your average Gothamite to not look twice at her. People looking for expect her to be hiding somewhere with Jon, probably dressed in rags, with a haunted expression on her face. Not in a grocery store pondering tomato based recipes with a frustrated frown. Most people who do notice that she seems to resemble the missing radio personality when she's out on such errands tend to assume that they're mistaken. But most people are just too busy going about their daily business to notice a plainly dressed young woman who doesn't appear to be in any distress about anything except possibly her upcoming meal plans.

He noted a face he vaguely remembered. His eyes darted slightly over it was a miss Heather Glass, she was noteworthy as she'd been missing and kidnapped by one Scarecrow. yet here she was shopping like normal and that was suspicious all on it's own. No doubt if master Bruce were present he'd be investigating himself but he rarely did the shopping. However he also knew her beign alone could all be a ruse so one should be cautious about any actions taken. He strolled along coming up not far from her. He decided if he intended to poke around he'd go back to his old service days. When suspicious about someone act causal. Only good news was he wasn't spying on Russians or Ukrainians or some east german USSR agent these days.
He looked to her and with his typical soft spoken voice asked "Excuse me miss but i seem to have missed an aisle someplace. I swear they change them every few weeks. I'm lookign for the Toiletries and soap if you'd be so kind?" Of course Alfred knew damn well where everything was in this store and he knew the rotation down to almost a science but no need to tell others. If nothing else if she replied it'd perhaps give off inflections in her voice or demeanour. Most did not realize the little things we did to give ourselves away. Posture, breathing, voice tone or tempo all gave off clues.
