It used to be that I was content to play Mr. Freeze with his more standard backstory - where he's working on curing his poor wife Nora, frozen and practically dead. But then I had one and then another person want to play her, and I was also happy to start a storyline where he managed to cure her. But then that player left, and then the next player left, and now I find that I've grown so fond of that storyline that I don't want to shelve that thread and go back to having Nora frozen. Of course, I could always NPC her, but since she's so very important to Mr. Freeze and with the plotlines I've been wanting to do with Arkham City now being open, it would be a lot better if I didn't have to do that.
Therefore, I'm asking if someone will please play Nora?
She's not a very difficult character to play - not unless you greatly expand upon her. By herself she's not necessarily that interesting - she's simply a good, kind woman. The situation that she's in that's more interesting - waking up ten years after nearly dying to find that her husband is some kind of a super-criminal who did it all because he is completely devoted to her and nothing else. She's also not a character that requires a huge commitment - she'd most likely be RPing primarily with Mr. Freeze unless you want to get her into more things, and I only post so fast. If you do want to do more with her, you'd definitely have the opportunity to do so once we get into the plotlines I'm cooking up. If you don't know very much about Nora but you think you could play her if you did, then I'd be happy to teach you everything there is to know about her - which isn't much, because she's spent most of the comic canon and her various portayals and adaptations as a Noracicle and she doesn't remember any of that so you don't need to either.
I do want to warn you if you take her on that there's going to be lots of fluffy romantic things. But they're tragic romantic things - I always like to say that you have the most fun as a roleplayer if you're a bit of a sadist toward your characters, and that's definitely true of how I play Victor. But based on past history, this couple is a popular one for random people on the forum to read, even if they're not involved. Join me, and we will make them cry!
Interested? Just let me know! Preferably on AIM, but you can reply here or shoot me a PM instead if you want.
