Upon the news. The particular baby news. No, not Kory. Reaction for that would be far more explosive. No, it was Roy’s baby news. Which ad certainly been a surprise to many, as well as Roy. Suppose if you asked some particular friends, they would perhaps suggest they weren’t entirely surprised. It was Roy. Nonetheless, Kory was one of the pleasantly surprised. She adored kids and she already planned to book baby sitting sessions. So she was definitely excited… Also, felt a tiny bit of pressure. With the news being as sudden as it was, Roy and Dick leaving town to pick up the new bundle of joy. There was nothing prepared at home, not even a baby crib. Not able to allow a baby to come home to nothing, Kory had put it upon herself, to do a little shopping and do what she could to get the room ready in time for when the baby came home. As much as Kory knew about human babies, but she was confident she could figure it out. Or learn on the way. Either way, Kory did not hesitate and planned on not wasting any time getting started… She had taken motioned to clear space in what was Roy’s room. Clearing all that she could, putting most of the furniture, for the time being within the living room area. So that the bedroom, was sensually left to fill… Ooh, and paint. Kory was definitely feeling the room needed a nice lick of paint, well, maybe not literally. She couldn’t imagine it taste any better than it smelled. Of course, there was the debate of colour. Style. All Kory, imagined was bright… Taking short and swift time getting dressed. In a simple purple wrap knitted dress. Simple and comfortable shoes. A small bag. Little play of her loose red hair, it tousled in curls around her. Kory soon left the apartment, with much a curious mind, with a rather filled list, though as she exited through the sky. It seemed more sprung to mind as she flew. Of course, she couldn’t entirely know if it was all practical. Her bedroom when she was a child was quite different. Kory for now, followed what instinct she had.
Excitement was still, an understatement. As Kory flew through the city of Bludhaven. She made a pointed route to Gotham. The central to be more precise. She wasn’t entirely sure where to start, but given it was the centre of the city. Particularly of shops. It seemed a good choice. She hadn’t entirely planned how she was gonna get everything she needed back home with her, but she gathered she’d have no trouble lifting. Otherwise, hopefully the shops would deliver it and in time. Kory landed, mostly out of sight, mostly meaning she wasn’t entirely paying attention, some where in a quiet area. She found herself mingled a little more in somewhat of a shopping crowd, as she walked through some conjoining streets. Her eyes open, looking out for anything that appealed for her current needs. Sensually anything baby… She was still not sure what exactly she should be starting with… A crib? That was definitely a must. Though she wasn’t walking by any, soon… Nor, any paint shops. Suppose that would be in a slightly different section, than with all clothe shops. As she was currently noting, as she walked past… So many clothing stores. Shoe stores…. Ooh, shoes. As Kory stopped, finally in front of a baby shop… Perhaps a little more than one now. As her eyes looked further down the street. It was practically like a baby town, as noted by the sign over the top, that sensually spelled it out. Why had she not heard of baby town… Suppose, it seemed a little out of place in Gotham, but right now seemed so right. It was certainly going to help her… Or potentially hurt her, as there was no telling how many stores there were and her list wasn’t exactly precise or short. Though, for now. Her attention instantly brought to the first store she had stopped at. Mostly, taken by the rows and rows, of baby shoes in the front of the store. How can something be so cute? As Kory stepped closer and without hesitation began a more closure intake of the shoes. Tiny. Colourful and some even fluffy. They would be perfect for the winter. Shoes, had to be a good place to start.
