As they had been standing there speaking, just like that Bruce spoken a few words and was already on his way out. He had a habit of doing that it seemed. Watching Bruce walk away with such a quick pace left Dick a bit perplexed. What was Bruce's rush?
Dick shrugged it off, bringing his attention back to those around him.
"I guess I can agree with you on that Babs. And now worries on game of that sort," Dick replied. He wasn't trying to joke on that matter.
Bruce's sudden departure from the group had left him a little off.
"Thanks Tim," Dick replied as he ruffled up the boy's hair.
He'd usually put Tim into a headlock after attempting such a thing, but this didn't seem like a good time to be horsing around. Dick knew Tim was trying hard to be the peacemaker at times. And it didn't seem fair to start a fight around him. Tim shouldn't have to be a ref or choice sides in the silent battle at times between Bruce and Dick.
"Get any new movies lately? Or are we going to really on the smart tv to use the internet to find our movies," Dick offered up the question as he headed up the stairs.
It didn't take him long before get up stairs and hear that someone was at the door. Ok, maybe that answer to what was up with Bruce. Seeing as Bruce had rushed to the door. And there stood Selina.
Bruce must have failed to mention that he had invited her. No worries. Though he thought this was family night. Guess Selina counted as an extended part of the family, know Bruce and Selina's history.

Tim smiled and chuckled at Barbara’s Twister joke. She had a good sense of humor, if a bit twisted. (OOC get the pun XD) Tim looked as Bruce rushed upstairs in typical Bruce fashion. But he wasn’t going to pass judgment yet, he probably had a reason.
The boy didn’t try to pull away as his brother ruffled his hair, there was really no reason. Dick wasn’t one to come straight out, he had his signs of affection. Usually they involved ‘play’ punches on the shoulder that landed a little bit harder than they should have or headlocks followed by a hard noogie. Tim responded to Dick’s thanks with a small smile. That was all that was needed. He knew it probably wasn’t his place to try and get into Bruce and Dick’s problems, but he hated to see them fight. They are family.
Tim followed Dick and responded to his question.
“The only thing we really have on DVD are oldies that Alfred buys. I *cough* legally download all my movies. Of course, we could just watch Zorro for the millionth time.” Tim said with a hint of sarcasm. Tim’s face became serious again as he heard someone at the door. He peeked around Dick to see Selina standing in the doorway. What was she doing here? He certainly hadn’t invited her. Bruce must’ve. But, it wasn’t a big deal, of course. Tim walked up next to Dick and addressed her.
“Catw… I mean, Selina? What’re you doing here? Is everything okay?”

Barbara rolled her chair up the sides of the steps that led everyone out into Bruce’s study. Warmth of the AC was approving. She kept her silence, just enjoying the banter between the Bat-kids in person. Just getting in the occasional chuckle to herself. She wondered what meals Alfred had in plan for the special occasion. It wasn’t often they congregated to Wayne Manor for anything other than a crisis.
Not entirely caring much for the fact that Bruce had abruptly departed from the group, it wasn’t likely that it was for any other reason than to set things up for them. Following them nonchalantly, it was simply busywork enough to just keep her wheels turning.
The funny thing about having perfect memory recall was that you never forget any detail even in the minute of aspects, things such as smells, sounds, or even lights were burned into her mind. Barbara had never seen Selina before, but her voice was so crisp, so clear, her voice simply put a smile on her face. She wasn’t sure if Selina would recognize her, but their work together in Washington D.C. had helped her more than anyone else had this year.
The best thing was that she never asked questions. And that was the sort of agent she’d like to keep under her contacts list.
She wheeled herself next to the rest at the door and just smiled at her for a moment waiting for the greetings to be over with. Only when she got to Barbara did she extend her hand with a warm smile she spoke softly, “Selina, hi. Barbara Gordon. I’ve heard a lot about you.”

It wasn't just Bruce who answered. There was Tim....and Gordon's daughter. And Dick. And Bruce. In a split second she felt the urge to run, to flee, to just leave the whole situation and leave. And in the following beat afterward, a smile blossomed organically on her face, meeting her eyes of course. It was slightly forced, to conceal her true feelings. While she had thought it odd to be invited to the mansion, this had not been in the cards. Peering beyond Bruce, she waved to Tim, thinking fondly of how he had not only taught her how poorly she would do with a sidekick, but how he had taught her what it was like to work on a team. He was a good kid. Not only as Timothy Drake, but as Robin. Not quite as fun as when Dick had the mantle, but that was a story for another time.
Dick, on the other hand, it was nice to see him. It had been a while since she'd seen him, or Kory, for that matter. She'd always have a soft spot for the first Robin, considering how much grief she had given him through the years. And hopefully Bruce wasn't too sore about the fact his adopted 'son' had found out who Catwoman was, before he did. Winking at the elder of Bruce's 'offspring,' she heartily ignored Tim's slip up. "Well, I wasn't quite expecting this, but Bruce had wanted me to stop by...." for what reason? She had a few major topics that both Bruce Wayne, and Batman would prefer to hear. But was this a...family meeting, or? Selina felt in her bones it was something of the masked variety, but...Barbara Gordon was here. That shocked her. She knew of Gordon's daughter in passing...but had never had the chance to fully meet her.
...on the other hand, Barbara seemed more than aware of who she was. Hadn't Dick and Barbara dated at one point? She honestly couldn't recall. Sidestepping Bruce and the others, she reached firmly grasped the redhead's hand and laughed. "You're too kind! I am certainly acquainted with your father, but not so familiarly with you. Hopefully we can change that." Which was a lie, but Selina was certainly not going to bring up the fact Barbara had been shot. That isn't the sort of first date talk topic.
Squeezing her hand warmly before she released it, she still fought the rising bile that this was all some sort of trap. Had she been a true four-legged feline, her hackles would surely have been raised; her tail a bottlebrush. Every the performer, she let her gaze fall to each of the young adults, before settling on Bruce. "Please tell me I'm not interrupting anything. I only need a few minutes with your Father, if anything." A bit of a joke, considering the two young men were technically Bruce's 'wards.' Ms. Gordon being there was throwing something off, considering everyone else was aware of the other's more opulent nightly activities.
