Pretty much useless besides stopping that one attack so far. Nightwing rebound quickly knowing Freeze wasn't going to waste him with him. The crowd was the aim target now. Nightwing knew Freeze would just continue doing this time he could and then run. The police would be there in a matter of minutes yet. Every second counts.
Nightwing wasn't going to play this game and had to think quickly.
Another shot was to follow he knew that. So when he landed, he was going to strike again. This time....
And just as he had thought, Freeze was moving for another attack. Nightwing was going to sacrifice this weapon to gain the upper hand for the moment in regards for when he got unclose and personal wight he walking snowman.
Nightwing whipped out one of his escrima sticks. In the same movement, he turned on the electrical component of the weapon as he threw it from its sleeve from his back.
The weapons was aimed to intersect with the beam again. His calculation was on time with the angle and force to throw it. It intersected. And with that the electricity would travel through the beam of ice. Electricity didn't work on pure water, but Mr. Freeze's weapon didn't use water. The chemical matter and particles that would help conduct the charge to continue on.
And with that Nightwing, at the same time charged at Freeze. Taking out the other escrima stick ready to strike. And other hand ready to pull on the explosives against the snowman or wingdings this time to catch the ice beams to cut them off from their targets.

Though he sees the vigilante throwing something else at him, Victor thinks nothing of firing again - most likely whatever it is will be just as ineffective as the wingding. Only it's not - much to his surprise, the sound of crackling electricity greets his next shot, and the blast coming from his gun fizzles somewhat. Not completely, but what little ice makes it to the crowd is no more than a light misting - cold, but not especially harmful. Frowning, he looks over at his gun, which his HUD is indicating has lost its power somehow. Which is rather baffling to him, actually - this wouldn't be the first time that he's been attacked with electricity and of course he made sure to fully insulate his suit. So that shouldn't have worked at all, so what happened? He pulls the trigger in frustration, but it's clearly inoperable. Well, he'll have to figure out what went wrong with it later - he shifts it into the built-in holster on his suit that the keeps it in. Then his attention lifts toward the vigilante. " You are an annoyance," he states, before starting to walk quickly toward him. Of course, 'quickly' for Victor in his suit isn't actually that quick when compared to the moves that he's seen the other man already using, but though he can well imagine that vigilante could stay fully out of reach indefinitely, he also suspects that's not what's going to happen. If the other man won't fight him at close quarters and tries to keep throwing things at him instead then he's quite capable of forcing the issue. Current Stats:

What mattered most at the moment was that the crowd of bystanders were not effected by Freeze's last attack. Huh, snow in the summer. Better than what would have happened.
Nightwing was pleased with the results of his action. Freeze's reaction to the disabled weapons was just a bonus. This would keep the match on level grounds for now. Though the suit was going to be an issue.
The wingding he had throw did little to no damage to the suit, so throwing things was not going to work. At least not those. Freeze's suit slowed him down, that was noticeable, giving Nightwing the advantage of movement. The advantage for Freeze as well was that it was daylight hours. No shadows to blend in with for Nightwing. The bat-family all being night dwellers.
Continuing on with the attack, Nightwing used the one escrima stick to come in for close hits. The electric shock on as well. Sparks could be seen at the tips of the weapon. Nightwing's goal being to make contact with the suit. Any open parts or gaps were targets to him.
If Freeze is able to fend him off, he'd fall back a bit. In which case, he would throw the explosives aimed at Freeze as he would retrieve the other escrima. Preparing for another attack once he would have it in hand. The two sticks together provided a more powerful serge of electricity.

The surface of Victor's suit is hardly smooth and uniform - it's made of many pieces, and there are what appear to be gaps between the plates, various ports for various purposes, and the like, but though Victor doesn't make any effort to protect them, that's only because the electric charge of the escrima stick appears to be completely ineffective. The reason why he was so surprised by the damage to his gun was because he really is quite good at coping with that kind of attack - he'll have to see what failed. However, Victor's own attempts to get the vigilante within reach are also failing. The young man is simply too fast for him. And when the vigilante decides to change his tactics and throw bombs from a distance, that settles the issue for Victor - he needs a new strategy. Dodging the bombs as best he can - he can't be sure whether or not such a weapon is powerful enough to damage his suit or not without a direct test and he'd like to avoid that - he withdraws himself. Let's see... losing the ability to shoot his gun is a huge problem, though he has other methods. In pondering that, his eyes suddenly look up at the ceiling for a moment, then he abruptly turns and charges toward a wall. There aren't any people in that direction, but it's a very important wall nonetheless: it's load-bearing. Current Stats:

Nightwing sees the movement that Freeze is now taking. He wasn't coming at him this time. And he could tell his explosives were hardly effective. In an indoor location like this, he was not going to use any heavy duty weapons or explosives. There were too many civilians around in the bank.
Though this change in direction was a change in the strategy now. His speed was enough to keep him out of Freeze's ability to make contact with him. Especially in that suit. He had changed the pace of this match. And now it looked like it was Freeze's turn.
Freeze was charging towards a wall, but what for? It only took Nightwing seconds to notice the large objects on the ceiling in a lineament with the wall. If Freeze hit hard enough, there would be debris falling onto the civilians in the way.
Nightwing had to act fast. And in those few second he had, he'd be quick enough to take the chance to try and slow him down. Though he had to get the civilians out of the way. There were a few on the ground.
"Get off to the right," he shouted to the people laying on the ground. A few were quick to act seeing the vigilante looking their way.
Yet, there were two still laying on the ground. At that second as he had shouted, Nightwing throw a bolas to try and at at least tangle Freeze up to lessen the force to the wall. As he did this, he was headed in the direction of the two people too slow to get up from the ground out of the way.
Nightwing grabbed the child in one arm and grabbed the young woman's arm with the other. There was no time. But he'd be able to get them out of the way in time before any debris was to fall. There was no doubt something was going to drop.

With his metal suit to protect him, Victor has much less to fear than anyone else in the building about having something heavy fall on him, and with his cold gun out of commission he finds himself in the position of having to press every advantage he has. He pounds hard against the wall, using his understanding of engineering to guide him to an educated guess about where he can do the most damage in the smallest amount of time. And as he'd expected, once the vigilante begins to see what he's doing, the man becomes more concerned about the civilians than he is about him. Which is a good thing, as Victor's aim is to bring down the ceiling upon all of their heads. Though the safest possible spot is next to another load bearing wall, that will most likely stay erect and keep the ceiling next to it from collapsing, giving the civilians a place of relative safety to run to. The worst possible place to be in this situation is anywhere near to Victor, as the moment he destroys one too many supports the building begins to collapse upon him. When he sees that happening he's quick to turn away, but he has to use the enhanced strength of his suit to deflect many large pieces of debris threatening to crush him. When the collapse is over but before the dust has even begun to settle, Victor is able to use his HUD and the information from the sensors on his suit to see through the cloud of concrete dust and spot the hole that is now in the ceiling. And the collapsed rubble makes a ramp of sorts up to it that he can make use of. So without delay he heads for it, hoping that the vigilante will be too busy helping the civilians to follow him or at least won't be able to see him through the dust. Current Stats:
