A long day and a long week it had been. Well the day had not been that long. It had only just begun at a point. Though after being back on the Eastern coast of the US, Kara had had a busy morning. Supergirl had been up and down between a few situations that morning. And in Tahiti, the sun was just a while after the sunrise. So the day had only just been starting there. Well maybe a hour or two by now.
Supergirl had made her way out to the beach there waiting on a friend. Flying towards the island, was a sight to see. The large mountain way of the middle of the island and the white sandy beaches that surround it.
The blue water, crystal clear from over head. And Kara was liking the sight of it so far. She had mentioned to Kory Anders about meeting up. And Kory had said something the night before about Dick having to get back to Bludhaven for some important business that had come up.
She wasn't sure just when he had left that day. But she was sure Kory probably had flown him back. And now Kara was stuck waiting on the beach for Kory to show up.
Though she did not mind at all over the thought of just sunning for a while. She had quickly change out of her super suit and into a nice blue sport style bikini, that she now way on her back soaking in the sun.
She lay with sunglasses over her eyes as she lay there on the white sandy beach. Just listening to the waves gently hitting the shore. Island birds could be heard as she lay there.
But when she caught a shadow casting over her sun for a moment, she knew her friend had shown up.
"Bout time. I was starting to think you were going to spend all day with your boyfriend instead of meeting up with me," Kara said.

It had been a much need vacation. It was just splendid. It had been wonderful and it needed to last a few more days, but the life of a hero you had to make sacrifices here. There. Everywhere. Kory knew it had taken a lot just for Dick to come just these few days. Once they were here and found ways to relax. He didn't seem to regret it so much. Of course there had been that call. Though she wasn't so sure it was so important or Dick just finding an excuse, least it wasn't right a way. So they had a couple of days left. Which she knew Dick was silently more happy about than he might was led on. He had so much to deal with and for a moment he could just deal with them in Tahiti. Not that is didn't stop him from finding work here at certain times. He was very caring, but most of his time. Her time, was spent together. With all the dodging calls and limit time, there was little time spent apart on this trip. And no, they weren't left twined up in bed all the time. There was snorkelling and even some surfing, which Kory cheated slightly given her flight powers. Also a lot of time just relaxing on the beach.
Like Kory had planned for this morning, only she was meeting up with Kara-el. Whom she was friendly with, but they weren't that close. Not yet, thus moments like this… As Kory walked along the beach, rather solo. With her tiny light purple bikini. Leaving the rest of her orange skin bare to best soak up the sun. With a simple bag over her shoulder and thick sunglasses covering her green tamaranean eyes. Her red locks were left out and free. Tousled in the way she had just simply ran her fingers through it after just jumping out of bed. Though still with usual glow and shimmer, like little flicks of fire. Finally spotted the young kryptonian, with her beautiful blonde locks glimmering like gold. Still young. Tiny. Yet hard to miss. Soon Kory loomed over where she laid, with a happy smile to be meeting her here. It was defiantly paradise in feel.
"Greetings Kara… Oh yeah, it was another long night… Its the good thing about vacations, there is little need for time, it simply just isn't there, but I wasn't going to miss this… I promised… So, how have you been?"
Kory warmly greeted Kara, even given her eyes were shut. Kory wouldn't disturb her peace to much. No, Kory was here to join her. As Kory rolled out a large towel upon the sand and soon laid down. To best soak up the sun. It wasn't at its peak yet, as it was morning, but it was still strong. It felt good as Kory rested her head back. Before responding to Kara's words in regards to her 'boyfriend', it did bring the gentle warm and fuzzes now that it was a official. It was that odd thing that made things more comforting, even if it was just a label, but with Dick he was always much more than that. Her expression brightened as she mentioned last night. Just like most nights and odd times through the day. There really was little time apart. That was kind of the point. It was for only a short time, but it was what Kory wanted even if just for a moment. To feel pure happiness. Love. It was feeling like home. Why would she want to leave this? At least not now. As she smiled through her words as her eyes looked through her sunglasses to the sky above. The waves crashed like harmonies. A melody that helped ease her heart when he was on her mind. Still goosebumps… Though in the losing of time, Kory hadn't forgotten the call Kara had made. Kory very rarely forgot anything in regards to her friends. After all Kory wanted to be here. Kara was still young and an outsider as Kory was still to this planet. There is no escaping from time to time, you will feel more alien. Not every human is so kind or welcoming. A lot of the time they will surprise you. As even now as they laid down, a few passing people greeted them and offered rather pleasant smiles. It was enough to put anyone in a happy mood.
"It really is so beautiful and peaceful here. Not to mention everyone is so welcoming… Did you come for a vacation?"
There was little struggling in Kory's comments on the place. Even simply this beach. As easily soaked up the peacefulness. It was pure serenity. No ill. No odd dark corner. It was just sand. Water. Tropics and a lot of sun. Not to mention the people as she commented at those that went by. Kory paused to wave and greet a sweet man, before his eyes hardly blinked, nearly running into a tree before he went off. Kory then sweetly looked over to Kara as to ask if she was here for a vacation. She was sure they could do some fun things despite Dick, there be plenty of time Kory simply eased herself. Taking the scent of salt and the sound of peace. This spot right now, seemed like a good one. As she stretched gently her muscles from last night, they were just a little heavy, but the energy from the sun was defiantly a nice kick to her system.

"A long night? You don't say," Kara said playfully as she sat up, propping herself up on her elbow. She pulled her sunglasses a bit off to show her crystal blue eyes sparkling.
"I've been good. Been here and there lately. Helping out or just hanging out with the Titans from time to time. And picking up the grunt work for the League as usual," Kara replied.
Kara leaned to one side on her towel as she looked up at the tall red headed alien that stood on the beach with her. She couldn't remember the last time she had seen her, But had heard a lot about her from the Titans of course. Connor was a bit part of the team.
"They don't seem to turn many vacationers away. Especially when it comes to the beach," she said.
She looked out at the ocean for a moment and then back up at Kory. "I wish. I'm between classes back at school. Just decided I didn't want to stay town for the rest of the day," Kara replied back. "Well, how about you? What have you been up to?"

The sand swirled warmly around Kory's golden toes as she now faintly loomed a generous shadow over the kryptonian. As Kory patted a little more on the towel along the sand. It was a good spot. There was nothing planned, not yet Kory was sure, but there defiantly felt no hurry. It was defiantly a good thing to have every once and a while. As soon as Kory set her belongings down. Kara sat up to welcome her. Kory smiled extra warmly as Kara questioned the rather adventurous night. It had been good. More than good.
"Oh yeah… It was a beautiful night to go dancing as well as Marco Polo… It can be hard to sleep or relax when one generally patrols at night, but I do think its been good, for both of us…"
Kory said happily. When was she ever one to deny an enjoyable time. As her smile brightened as every night had been quite spectacular and mostly because it was not the usual. As Kory remarked the dancing, that wasn't so new and Kory played upon the game they had played. As if Kory couldn't find him as she playfully added to her smile. Given her keen sense of smell… Before Kory laid herself upon the towel, mentioning about the shift given what the nights are generally like a hero, although Kory was mostly talking about Dick in this, but it was defiantly good for them both as Kory happily smiled. It was a simple joy, but it meant a lot. Before Kory turned her ears to Kara.
"Oh that is wonderful… I must of missed you, we should hang out next time your in New York. The recruits are coming along amazing well. Especially Conner, he's very super. JLA! Wow thats the big leagues as Vic would say. What kind of work do they get you to do?"
Kory brightened at the mentioning Kara had been hanging with the Titans or the Teen Titans now. In fact Kory did recall some of the titans mentioning. No surprises given Conner was now a Titan and well they were a great team to hang out with. They were more defiantly family. It was defiantly a wow little moment at hearing about the Justice League. Kory remarked happily and half quoting Vic Stone as Kory joyfully laughed a little. It was defiantly impressive as Kory asked about the work. From the sounds Kara wasn't a member exactly. It was defiantly admiral Kara was offering the help to so many. With her knee gently raised. Kory still looked to Kara through her glasses, but was defiantly soaking up the sun. With the water lapping nearby. Kory's cheeks glowed at Kara mentioning about the welcoming locals.
"It is defiantly paradise…"
Close to the paradise of Tamaran, but defiantly paradise. Beautiful. Warm. Peaceful. Though Kory had to admit she was very fond of Bludhaven. Smiling sweetly to Kara as she looked to the sea. There was defiantly the good chance they'll be jumping into it eventually, whether one need to cool off or simply splash around. As Kory listened in. So this was just a little down time for Kara. They'd have to make the most of it so Kara could enjoy all she could.
"You have been busy. I didn't know you went to school, what are you studying?… Well apart from the vacation. I'm with the Titans, as a mentor, not full time. The rest of my time is spent in Bludhaven to help Nightwing… If your stay is short, did you have anything in mind you wanted to do besides sunbathing?"
School wasn't something Kory had ever done personally herself, she couldn't technically or legally given she wasn't human and most in regards to finding her way on Earth was helped by titans. Mostly by Dick. Though was kindly curious as to what Kara was studying. Given the power the Kryptonians had and the fortress, Kory knew they had great knowledge. Had to be something for Earth, Kory knew Kara had seen the universe nearly as much Kory had. As for Kory herself, there wasn't anything different. Besides moving between the Titans and Bludhaven. As Kory smiled. It was more than just nice. To be surrounded by friends and spend the time without the man she loved. Before turning to Kara given this was a stop over, Kory asked sweetly if Kara had anything else in mind than sunbathing, not that Kory couldn't lay here forever, but there were other activities if Kara had something in mind. Kory was up to enjoying anything. Almost anything.

"So not only do you spend your days with him as a civilian, you get more time alone with him on patrols? You two must have a hard time keep your minds on your work," Kara smirked at the thought between the two.
Kara couldn't help but to ask. After all he had heard so much stuff about the two from some of the older Titan members when she would go to visit. Connor wasn't one for gossip around the place. Usually trying to keep out of everything.
"Glad to hear Connor is doing so well. As for the work the League has me doing...grunt work. That's what they have me doing," Kara said.
Kara let herself fall back onto the beach towel as she groaned. Her sunglasses falling back further on top of her head as she fell.
She lay there for a bit. Letting the sun hit her pale skin. It took a bit to get a tan if she tried. That also was due to her body needing to use the sunlight to give her body energy. She let herself stretch out on the towel as she then looked back to Kory.
"Yes it can be. There are so many places on this earth that are beautiful and fascinating," Kara said She slightly leaned forward to rest on her arm again.
"I've been studying in journalism," Kara replied. "I'm not really sure. Know of any activities you'd care to do today? I'm up for anything."

Resting back. The golden tamaranean. With her red tousled hair in bundle around her shoulders. Some escaping like liquid fire over and down her chest. Hands settled her sunglasses in better fit. Feeling. Taking in the sun rays upon her face. Her skin. The gentle tingle as she felt her energy warmed up from the inside. As Kory of course turned her head to give Kara her full and undivided attention. There came a soothing chuckle passed her lips at Kara's questioning. About the late nights and Dick's ability to stay focused. To a degree Kory thought easily, given they were still going strong, but lucky for them they had Kory in the relationship… Too keep them from being too distracted.
"Its not really changed since I met him… We were titans, we lived in the tower… We all did… But, um. Sure its an added bonus with the passion we both have, but lucky for us. I'm tamaranean. In the heat of battle we're trained to not get distracted… I'm sure its harder for Dick.. On the more low key times when he doesn't need me… I just watch close by. He's quite beautiful to watch."
As always with Kory's sense of humour was also plenty of truths. Though the so called spending so much time together wasn't new… Really at all. As Kory looked and explained to Kara. She would know having spent time with the titans. Living all together in the tower. They didn't just fight together. They lived together as well. It was seemingly different then with all the responsibilities Dick had, not just with the Titans. Come to think of it, he always carried more. Regardless whether it was healthy for him all the time, but it was who he was. The leader he was. Smiling added as Kory of course admitted with the added passion, its a little more so than spending time with your friend, but they were titans. As Kory seemingly joked that it was harder for Dick, though when he set his mind to the task, well there was little Kory could do other than be there or let him do his thing. For herself she was trained not to be distracted in battles, well depending on the sort. Kory smiled as sure there were the times they couldn't fight the attraction, but usually when they knew the battle was won. Besides they were titans. They didn't lose. Before glowing her golden cheeks openly telling Kara of the times Kory did just sit back and watch her man at play or work, it was Nightwing after all.
"Your not a member of the JLA?"
Asking curiously as Kory looked to Kara, as by the sounds she was just helping them, but from the tone in Kara's voice… Kory could take a leap and a guess, that Kara wanted to be. Or least a member of a team. Kory could understand as her eyes trailed over the young alien with the notion Kory did care. It could be quite lonely. Titans had been such a wonderful place to have fallen to after everything and to grow with people Kory knew loved her as much as she loved them. Smiling sweetly least Kara was trying. Helping the other heroes, but perhaps still the need for some place. Though she was Supergirl. Titans probably wasn't the greatest fit, but perhaps Kara just needed to find a different team. Though Kory could be wrong. Doing any sort of work for JLA was pretty impressive to say the least. They wouldn't ask it of Kara if they didn't think she was the only one to do it. That Kory could be certain of. She was kryptonian.
"So I have seen… I think I saw most of them last night"
Kory muttered softly with the escaped of a relaxing sound. As she turned her head to the skies and seemingly closed her eyes. With the faintest smile as her words trailed out. Though just as her mind floated back to a close memory, it seemingly went to just peace. Not exactly blank, but just letting everything fall away for a moment. All Kory felt was the sun and the company of a kryptonian young lady. With the crashing of the waves. The cries of sea birds. As Kory listened into it all, but made way to listen to Kara. Feeling her weight enough falling where Kory laid. As her mind trailed to activities they could do. There was fun to be had on this beach. Now burying Dick and making sand castle upon him, seemed too far out of reach. If he didn't fall a sleep he wouldn't wake up in a mote. Though that one time, when out popped a giant, that was an unexpected surprise. Kory chuckled silently. No, there was fun to be had without her boyfriend. Kory would just have to bury him another time on the beach.
"I never knew you wrote, Kara. I'd love to read some… Do you have any with you? You should come over sometime and study with Dick… Sure. They play volleyball over there. We could swim. We could snorkel. The reefs are quite stunning. All the colourful fishes. Dick was down there for a long time… Or we could go shopping. There's some nice handmade bracelets I noticed and Dick is always insisting I need more clothes… So, what seems most appealing to you?"
With the mild surprising tone in Kory's voice upon hearing Kara did some form of writing. Somewhere in her mind, Kory envisioned a lot of story telling and was very keen to take a peak. As she politely asked… Only if Kara would be comfortable with it. Before offering the chance to studying with Dick. Which Kory wasn't overly sure what he studied. He did explain often, but he was seemingly cute in telling her. Resulted in well assault, but Kory did help in the studying, it least seemed to help him. Even if she wasn't actually sure what she was studying. Before Kory motioned her eyes. The gesture of her hand to the many things they could do defiantly do. Making a point about Dick enjoying the snorkelling or so Kory assumed and he thought he'd be sleeping most of the days. Or whether as Kory finished with the idea of shopping. That was the general human, girly thing to do. Which Kory enjoyed as well, just not to a great extent. She had most of everything she needed, but she could do with a tiny bit more. Before turning her red head to Kara and offered her the choice. Coming to think of it, Kory was sure she left a ton more out that they could do, but least there was some options.

"Is that all you talk about," Kara laughed. "I've heard about him. Never really met him."
Kara had yet the chance to meet with the leader of the Titans. Well former leader. She had met his mentor already. And right off the bat, the two didn't hit it off. If he was anything like Batman, she could care less to meet him. She didn't understand how her cousin could put up with such a stone cold guy.
Then again, Kara took differently to people then Clark. She was a little quick to judge at times. She just wasn't always patient enough to really take the time.
"Not a full member. They have me running training missions and the smaller stuff. Which I can honestly say gets old at times," Kara answered back.
Kara sat back and listened to Kory. The ocean breeze gently grazed her skin and blow through her long golden blonde hair, These were the times she could enjoy. Relaxing on the beach and meeting up with an old friend.
Well at least she was trying to get out more and hang out. It had always been on her mind. And she tried to when she could. But with the League and school, it could keep her busy at times.
"Does it look like I brought much with me," she looked toward her small book bag laying near by.
A kind smile on her face, show she was joking a bit. But she hadn't brought much with her besides her swimsuit, a change of cloths and her suit hidden within her gear. Though she could always run half way across the world and get stuff within seconds.
Kara grabbed for her cell phone as she turned over to grab it from her bag. She checked the time. "It's still early. Did you want to hit the mall first and see if there might be more people on the beach later in the afternoon," Kara said.
She looked toward the sun then, shielding her eyes from the bright light. The sun was high in the sky and it was becoming a lot hotter out. She knew humans did not care for the hotter points of the day, figuring more would come out to the beach in the later afternoon.
"Volleyball sounds like fun later though," Kara replied to her.

It was certainly a warming buzz feeling. Lying out upon the beach. Especially today. Resting her head back with just the peak over to Kara for a glance, but the mentioning of Dick. Least even his name caused the tingles go up and down her spine. The subtle way the laughter seeped from her lips at Kara's words. She just didn't understand. She didn't didn't know love. Kory felt mildly bad, but in time she would. Though even if she did she couldn't know a love as Dick and Kory shared. It was like no kind Kory had even seen on Tamaran. Well, there were a lot of kinds. Finding herself smiling with lack of getting rid of it and Kory wasn't trying to. Kory looked upon this day as what it was meant to be a good day so she hoped. Of course what she could recap last night was pure amazing. What tonight would end up like, Kory could question a little. Mostly the tenderness of his lips. Feeling him kissing her back and the grip around her waist as if for a moment she made him feel super strong. He defiantly seemed like it. Even when his hands would move to her legs. Along her skin. His lips trailing her neck. Kory shivered a little down where she laid and muttered a single sound of joy. Before Kara's words cut through and Kory smiled. To know of Dick, but not ever meeting him. It was hard to try, grasp. Kory couldn't recall a time she didn't know him and then mostly Kory just didn't try to. There was no point looking back.
"I could introduce you, if you like? He won't disappoint. The fact he stopped just enough to try and understand me… When no one else saw more than just an alien. It says a lot about who he is."
Kory kindly offered to Kara, to introduce her to Dick. As kory could hear the interest in her tone. He was quite the leader. The best leader to many of the titans and quite a man. Kory felt no shame in talking him up. He didn't need it though. He was just Dick Grayson. That meant everything to her, of course to others it was more Nightwing, but everything he did came from the heart of Dick Grayson. Kory knew that well. Enlightening a little upon when Kory had met him. A fond memory she didn't mind in the slightest. To her he wasn't Robin at the time. She didn't understand anything at that point. He was just a boy in a cape and shorts. Very cute boy in fact. Then the moment he kneeled to her level and looked in her eyes. As if saying Hey. I don't understand you, but I want the chance to know you. That was the heart he had. Kory had just as much wanted to know him and so she learnt. He was Dick Grayson to her from day one. The masks were just extensions of who he really was. There were the parts of him influenced by Bruce and for the most part some of them were good. Not always so bad, but Dick Grayson wasn't Bruce Wayne. Once upon a time Dick Grayson was a flying Grayson, Kory knew that time spent more than helped shaped the man he was and also of course his teen years spent with the titans, but all titans did. They grew and learnt together.
"Maybe you still haven't found where you belong Kara. Your young, you have plenty of time to find it… In fact, Dick is thinking of putting a team together. If you'd be interested. I'll probably join a little later, for now the Titans still need me."
Humbly Kory spoke to Kara in response of the rough times with the JLA, it sounded. They were the big league in the hero world, but not everyone's destiny. She was only a teen still, barely an adult. Of course that was in human years, but Kara was still young in kryptonian years as well, as Kory kindly looked to her. There was a whole lifetime to find just where Kara really belonged to. Was that not usually the destiny? Right now felt like the place. Kory smiled. Before enlightening upon the recent conversation with Dick. With everything that had happened and the talk of a new team. It wasn't as the likeable team Kory would expect. Not like a family, but it was what Dick felt needed to be done. The last thing she knew she shouldn't do was stop him. Supergirl could be a good addition. He didn't know her enough, but perhaps enough to knew her power she could add. For now Kory would remain a mentor until the Teen Titans no longer needed it, it was only telling how long that would be. They were all rather naturals, but still in need. As Kara spoke of her belongings. Kory looked over… No, it didn't look like there was much. You never knew what people with abilities could pull. She had the swift super speed that Kory couldn't. Though she didn't look very inclined to just use it. It was quite a comfortable spot. Relaxing, while Kara thought over what they could do. Kory was content with anything. The company was defiantly a good one.
"Certainly. It isn't very far… Not that would be a problem, but I suppose that would raise a few eyebrows… I do want to get Dick something special. I just don't know what yet…"
Kory smiled and nodded as she agreed. It was a wonderful idea, despite some sun lost, but it was enough and by the sounds it be regained later on. It was just a little walk back up the beach and a short stroll, as Kory mentioned. Before amusingly realising they both were the flying kind, so getting around wasn't really a problem. That would really shake up this place, not that there were really a lot out and about, enough… Enough that even Dick would find out. Kory gave a sweet amusing look to Kara as she began to mooting back to sitting, before slowly getting her feet. Brushing the little bit of sand from her golden flesh. Before making a note Kory was wishing to get Dick something, mostly just because she could and she loved him… Especially after they had officially began dating again. Kory just didn't know what to get him yet. Was there anything he needed? Wanted? That he didn't have already. He wasn't the overall material guy, but something sweet Kory was sure to please him. Cotton candy wouldn't be much of a shock.
"It defiantly would be fun… Maybe by then Dick will be up. He loves volleyball. He managed to counter my super strike I made last time. It was very impressive. Even if he still ended up in the sand… But I could introduce you then and see what he says. if you like, Kara. "
Slowly Kory began rolling her towel she had laid upon the sand, back up and placed it in her bag. As she of course agreed to the game of Volley ball. It was always fun. It could be quite a challenge one on one, but Kory was sure she could take the Kryptonian. Kory amusingly look in the direction of where she was staying with Dick, half expecting him to run down the beach. Why was there music playing in her head? Shook the thought. Knowing he'd be awake hopefully by the afternoon. It be worrying if he wasn't. Sharing of course Dick's skills and Kory's rather strong strike of the ball. Well, naturally getting carried away happened. Especially when she was having fun. Laughing a little as she recalled he still fell over, but he was impressive just as he was cute. Before Kory enlightened on the fact she could introduce them then, if Kara wished and of course if Dick managed to show. He was also good at disappearing, but on this island was there many places he could really go. Why would he hide from Kory? She couldn't really imagine that happening. Then finally Kory took to her feet. Waiting for Kara. So they could walk the sandy beach and a little up the path. Finally coming to the mall. It seemed such a earthly thing to do, especially for two alien girls.

"I'd like to meet him sometime. If that's no trouble to you of course," Kara said.
She didn't want to impose one either of Kory or Dick's time. That was the last thing she wanted to do. More of not to cause any more problems for any one else. Kara seemed to be getting under the League's skin quite a bit lately over full membership.
"A team? Clark never mentioned anything about a new team being started," Kara said. Her attention drawn in by this bit of information. "You know you're starting to sound like my cousin. You don't hang with him much do you?"
Kara looked off in the distances toward the buildings that line the boarder of the paved road ways and the sandy beaches. Her mind distracted by the thought of this team Kory made mention or and now the idea of shopping.
She was more interested in getting more information. But she knew there was plenty of time for that later in the day.
"Yeah, trying to keep the earth girl act up here a bit. Hence the reason the lack of the cape and letter S," Kara laughed a bit. "And I take it, it's official between the two of your again? Oops...Sorry words gets round after seeing some former Titans at the Watch Tower."
She felt bad for letting that last part slip out. But she had heard a bit from Cyborg back in the halls with someone else. Super hearing had advantages and disadvantages.
"Sure, sounds great," Kara said as she gets up quickly. She grabs her towel and gentle shakes it off. Folding it over her arm and then grabbing her sandals, she looks over at Kory. "Guess their used to beach goers coming straight from the beach with the sand and all." She dusts off a little bit of sand from her arm and her legs.

Whether it was his name. The sense. The essence. The thought. The tone. The list of it all. Dick Grayson in general rang every time the bumps on her skin. The prove that he made her feel. Kory could almost swim off into a sweet delight. Along with the sun above and the sand below. Not to take anything away from the quality time with Kara. Whom, Kory hadn't overly expected. A tamaranean and a kryptonian. It was defiantly not the norm, but then who gathered they've be on Earth. At the same time. Kory simply smiled at Kara's words. Concerns. Trouble? Time could seem hard to obtain, but it wasn't as in doubt as many would expect it to be. Kory could easily find it and still save the day generally all in the same day. Today was no exception. She couldn't deny a day with a friend.
"Its certainly no trouble at all. I'd be happy to introduce you…"
Kory looked over to the blonde beauty with an reassuring smile. Talk about norms. Dick and Kory just wasn't the conventional relationship and nor had she tried to make it out to be something that it wasn't. Rules just didn't rule them. Not that they hadn't made their own. Kory was sure Dick wouldn't mind meeting Supergirl. From the sounds of the surprise and height in Kara's voice. Might be intrigued by his new team. Not something Kory knew in all great detail, just enough. Dick was the leader. A great leader. Kory hoped for the best intentions, but certainly in the wake of Donna's death. It was give and take how much weighed on his mind. Let alone his heart. Kory smiled warmly with a soft laugh at Kara's questioning along with the mention of Kal-el. Kory wasn't surprised he hadn't told her. She wouldn't be surprised if he didn't know. He was superman, but he was still one figure in a much larger battlefield. Kory raised a brow at Kara comparing her to Kal-el. Was she?
"I'm not sure Kal-el would be aware of it, but yes a new team… You'd have to discuss the details with Dick… I am? Not often, no. I did cross paths with him recently, but can't say we exactly clicked."
Simply Kory commented, he often just wasn't in the circle, though had Dick been in touch, Kory wasn't so much in the loop with that. She knew he admired Kal-el, he after all became Nightwing, but Kory wasn't sure Dick was making a point to exactly be close to everyone right now. Ever since Donna died. With an added smile Kory confirmed there was a team, but she didn't know the details. Curiously remarking Kara comparing her to Kal-el, well it wasn't a complete stretch and she had visited with Kal-el most recently, but Kory for sure believed she had always sounded like herself. Of course she respected Kal-el. He was superman. There just were a lot of things that also separated them from each other. As Kory smiled playfully at the fact they didn't completely click, but it didn't seem so shocking to her. With both girls now at their feet. Ready to go shopping. It felt so oddly human. Though it was quite easy to tell that the mention of the new team had sparked interest. This was going to help once Dick was a wake to answer these questions, that Kory was sure were on Kara's tongue. Eyes casually scrolled down as Kara mentioned the lack of the s. The cape. Neither one Kory possessed, but Kory could understand. Even herself had to keep it up to an extent, but it seemed less and less she had an disguise now days.
"You could be mistaken easily for a human, but I'm sure we can find some additional perks… We'll see what we can find."
Kory commented in response to Kara's joke, least Kory assumed she was being sarcastic. Smiling softly, before remarking that Kara could be mistaken for human, least it wouldn't be as hard for her. She looked at least more human than Kory did. Kara had blonde hair, blue eyes with pupils and a shade of skin often seen in humans. But Kara didn't wear a mask and an easy face to recognise. Kory was sure Kara pulled it off nicely so far, but assured Kara that they could find the additional items to help her. To help her stay on this planet with little trouble. Sometimes it took having more than super strong skin to take it all and she was young and she was kryptonian. Quite different than being tamaranean. With a friendly smile before packing up her things, Kory then began shortly the trip up the sandy beach with Kara. Even though not sunbathing… Still feeling the sun. She really enjoyed the heat. Before Kara then questioned Kory's relationship with Dick, it wasn't totally off left field and Kory was happy to answer it. There was no shame. Kory wasn't sure it was overly a secret. Least Kory hadn't tried to keep it that way. Dick on the other hand, maybe. There was no denying the tingling sensation Kory got from thinking about it though.
"Oh, yes Kara we are official… Oh no apologises required. I'm more than happy to let it be known… Should be noted that we never officially broke up. We were forced to do it… I love him. I've always loved him."
Naturally her voice rose to sound of admitting that. Happily nodded to make it very much known. They were together. As much as together they could be, despite not officially living together, but it was close and they could only get closer. With what room there was left. It was hard to say on behalf of Dick himself, but Kory still felt for him what she first felt when she first fell in love with him. Kory very friendly walked close beside Kara. Almost shoulder to shoulder. Particularly with a smile on her face when saying she didn't need to apologise and it was clear Kory was more than happy to talk about. With the little hint of her brow. Not that she was in anyway wishing to rub it in, there was little to gain in doing that. More just expressing the happiness. As her cheeks glowed. Who didn't like good news? Kory playfully cleared her throat as she made a point in noting that she didn't overly see it they were official 'again', because technically what and how it had happened. Was out of their control. Kory hadn't wanted to leave, anymore than Dick had. Which ever it was, they were together now. As openly as Kory said it. She loved Dick now. She always had and knew she always will.
"You really have been around the titans, I'm not surprised they told you… In fact I don't think they were surprised."
Kory then playfully commented to Kara, she hadn't taken to much to what Kara had possibly let slip. It didn't bother Kory. It really wasn't a secret. Though from the sounds Kara was defiantly more in the groups loop than Kory thought, mostly when Kory wasn't there by the sounds, but between Roy. Gar. Vic. Especially Wally. Kory wasn't shocked they told her. They seemed more relieved by them dating official now, but having lived all together for a lengthy time, it sort of was a given. They knew Dick and Kory's relationship pretty well. Strolling up the sandy beach with Kara. Defiantly feeling the sand between her own toes. Kory grinned happily at Kara's confident remark. Eyes looked between them as Kara remarked about the sand and was sure there was a solution. Kory really didn't want to make a mess of the shops.
"Oh right, the sand… We can use the showers… There is some outside… Or we can use the one at the resort I'm staying at."
Kory happily suggested before heading to do some shopping. Stopping as Kory looked around and pointed to the showers outside. Least handy to remove the unwanted sand. Which Kory had used frequently whiles on the beach and caused minor chaos. Or there was a shower at the place Kory and Dick were staying. Good chance he was awake now or would be if she kindly woke him, but that would greatly make it hard to surprise him with anything, but it wasn't completely without reach.

"Kal has told me a bit of the Bat-family before. And that would be fine," Kara replied.
She followed along with Kory. Listening and taking to the conversation quickly on the subjects.
"This is true about the whole human thing," Kara replied.
She could see the differences right away. Kory was a strong warrior princess from another planet. The tall, tan, red head does stand out quite a bit. Especially against the petite blond standing beside her.
"So I have heard quite a bit about form the others. You two have quite the history together. But it was just a passing buzz. You know they care for the two of you. Even with him off doing his own things and you still stepping in to be with them," Kara said.
The Titans were always so close knit. They were a family to each other. They even welcomed Kara as one of them very time she came to visit. But most of them were teens, so there was bound to be talk among them of the other Titans at times.
What group of teens at times didn't need a rant every once and again? They'd have to be beyond super to be able to put up with living with others like them day in and day out. Kara had heard quite a bit from Connor on his isolation form the others. The farm was a great escape for them at times.
"They weren't really all that surprised. It was more of it taking so long," Kara laughed a bit over this.
Some had even gone as far to start bets. They knew how things were between Dick and Kory. Off and on at times. As well as how the two could be.
"I think the resort would be a nice change for a bit. All this sun today. I could use a bit of a break. Not that I could never get enough sun light," she smiled.

There was a lot Kory knew about the bat family. Not so much directly, but mostly from Dick. Which got her pretty close without being to over bearing. Not ever really close with Bruce, although Kory certainly made the effort and Kory was always naturally warm. It least had become more civil and Kory could only hope he didn't just see a good portion of why Dick had turned to Titans most at a certain part in his life. Pulling him further away, but really it was pulling Dick closer to himself. Ultimately Kory thought it had began to though make a change in Dick's relationship with Bruce. There was still the disagreements, but it seemed to be better. They were both adults now, one could only hope it would improve. There was no doubt in the mix of all, they loved each other. They were just blinded by their pride at time to remember that at times. Titans and especially Dick were family, but the Bat-family, Kory felt only so close to.
"it is a very special and tough family, I wouldn't feel right in giving details. That is something Dick can better answer. Or if you hang out with the Titans, Tim I'm sure have some juicy tales… He really is a sweet kid… Not to mention incredibly crafty."
Kory responded kindly in regards to the bat-family. It was in no way a lie either, as her eyes wearily left between where they were walking to and Kara. Of course Dick was the more key element of what made it special to her, she just wasn't as close to the other members. Save Tim and eventually Jason. It seemed that there was a connecting between Starfire and those under the Robin title. As Kory happily smiled in suggesting Dick and then mentioned Tim, since she seemed to be hanging out with the Titans. He probably wouldn't be hard to run into as much. There was a lot about Tim that was Dick, but probably down to his idolisation of Dick, it was rather sweet and Kory was in no way surprised. Dick inspired her every moment of the day. Though as Kory mentioned there also a lot to Tim, that was different if not more so than Dick. Tim certainly had a good head on his shoulders, especially at his age and he was truly very sweet. From what Kory had seen, he had a good heart. They were defiantly different aliens. Different beings, but they were to a degree girls still at heart. As Kory half eyed her playfully.
"Tim is also very cute for his age. He has very nice spunky hair… Don't you think?"
As much as Kory could reach out and this was human, least Kory recalled at times with Donna. Talking about boys. Well, more so like this as teens. As Kory talked about how cute Tim looked, but by mentioning his age, was clear he was much to young for her. Not that any man really took her fancy more than Dick. Though Tim looked a lot like Dick at his age. It was a little freaky at times but in knowing Dick's heart. Kory could know Dick if she was blind and def. Grinning cheekily as Kory half rubbed Kara's shoulders. Almost a bump. Happily commenting about his hair. Before looking to Kara sweetly and asked her curiously her opinion in a light tone. Also curiously, Kory could also introduce her to Tim, if by chance she hadn't properly met him yet.
"A lot of history, but there's still a lot left for us… I don't know how to best describe it. Since we met, the initial spark… Its still always there. We know each other of course… Though whenever we simply touch its like for the first time and unconditional love… I mean even now when I think of him, I get all tingly. We disagree at times, but I don't think as many humans seem to do. We've never grown tired of one another… Ironically i guess much could be said about the Titans as a whole. Nothing means more than family."
As Kory in her bubbly way expressed to Kara. Least in regards to the history shared with Dick, let alone with Titans. There was a lot the couple had gone through. Whilst many humans tend to fall out of love as they do in or simply grow tired of someone. It seemed more the opposite for them, despite how well they knew each other. It still felt there was plenty for more room to get close. It was not hard to get a little carried away nor just happy. As Kory let in how even a simple touch went a long way for them and even like now when she thought of Dick. Which happened often. They were just that close and painfully intertwined. That if they didn't end up married, but friends, there would always be a connection. A strong one. In their ways, they would always love each other. Whether it was enough would ultimately be the question. Kory was prepared for the rest of her life to figure that out with him, but taking large steps, it was too quick. Enjoying the time was just as important. Dick was her family, but in many ways as she mentioned. Much was similar with her family in Titans. She of course knew they cared. Once a titan, always a titan. They may wander off on their own adventures, but when the chips were down and titans were in need. They would always help one another. They went to a place that other teams just didn't go and only could a titan really understood what it meant. Kory laughed then at Kara's in relation to how long the relationship took to get back together.
"I think I'm quoting correctly. 'Its about a time'."
Kory amusingly perked up in relation to it taking so long. Half down to Dick, but Kory had also want to take things slow, least in the beginning. As Kory repeated the words said in the tower, her voice loverly in attempts to mimic, the male titan, but she really couldn't do him justice. Before Kory set off in a laugh. Lifting her sunglasses upon her head a bit. Glancing around. She was sure she spotted those showers… She'd used it a few times during the stay already.. Though as then Kara showed interest in using Kory's back at the place Dick and her staying at. Kory needn't search. It had only been moments since Kory left, so there was all the chance Dick was still where she left him… Or he had waited so he could pounce on what work he could. Her eyes lightened… She could introduce them sooner… Dick shouldn't be that sleepy, they had fallen a sleep earlier than previous night… Was it 3 or 4 this morning… It was hard to tell exactly. Roughly.
"Splendid! Defiantly! A break could go along way and by the looks… The sun isn't going anywhere soon… Plus a certain beach angel should still be where I left him… Cross your zehen!"
Kory joyfully expressed as she generally did. Agreeing a little more low key wasn't a bad use of their time. The point of vacation was the relaxation part. Take your time, as Kory had pointed out often during the trip… Before sweetly assuring there was plenty of hours in the day and the sun hadn't failed so far in Tahiti. Of course not until nightfall, but then it was generally still warm… Inviting… Her green eyes brightened as she mentioned Dick as she had sweetly nicknames him, should be there. Least Kory's expression was hopeful. Before stealing some german from her many visits with Victor… It meant toes or so Kory was sure it did. As Kory playfully pointed at Kara's feet. Before happily heading into the direction of the resort. Just a little off the beach. Arriving shortly to the set of beach cabins. Least Kory thought they were cabins, they were cute. With the beauty feel. They were not all too close together. Greenery surrounded to offer privacy. Comfy chairs greeted them at the front door. There had been little reason to lock the door. Having left the main door open with just the fly screen. Who in their right mind would kidnap Dick? She was not that paranoid of a girlfriend. Also the fact he was good at kicking ass, it sort of rose the chances. Small quaint kitchen, with a small cosy open plan living area. There was a small TV, but it was yet to be properly used, save for a little news.
"Welcome to our humble home, Kara… The bathroom is just here, feel free… Oh… Wait just a sec…. Dick? Are you in there? Don't rush… We can wait for the shower." With in moments of stepping inside. Kory joyfully expressed lightly with her hands to the beach house cabin. There was defiantly delight in her tone in expressing it as 'our' home and for a short time it would be. As Kory pleasantly smiled. Not that there was much of a tour, it wasn't overly big. Thus one bathroom. Which Kory happily lead Kara just past the kitchen. To the bathroom door, which was shut at this time. As Kory was about to leave Kara to it, she could use the shower first, but Kory thought she heard water running… Eyes moved between the bedroom and the bathroom. Her delicate orange knuckles sweetly rattled on the door. Just making sure, but Kory could almost be sure… Her eyes curiously before asking loudly enough so that he could hear her, but of course not wanting to freak him out. Last thing she needed was him injured or worse drop the soap. It was more uncommon them not to use the shower together, least on vacation. So it could only be assumed if Dick was there, what he took from the we. Guest hadn't exactly been expected, but not unwanted. For all from Kory's words of we, it might have just sounded like a sweet play on the situation. Something of which Kory would have naturally joined him, but it could seem a little impolite, she had company.

As Kory had left either that morning, Dick had taken the chance to sleep in. He was a night owl by far so morning never came to him early unless it was necessary.
He let the calming sound of the ocean just keep him laying in bed. Not wanting to get up and face the sun just yet. But as the afternoon started to show up, it was about time to get some work done. Even if Kory had stole him from all his computers. He still had his phone with him and a few other gear he could use to log his information he needed to keep up with the outside world.
Though he had promised Kory he would give it a rest over their break on his night work. He was lucky to get the time he did from the police academy as well. And Kory had made sure to put that time to good use.
So he carried on with his 'morning' got something to eat and then came back to wake up some more with a shower.
At some point, he heard the knocking against the door and Kory's words. He did not answer right away. She knew he was in and he'd answer her when he came out.
Dick grabbed a towel after shutting off the water. The warm mist from the shower followed suit as he left the shower stall. He had still yet to shave that morning, but Kory said something about 'we'. Did she have plans with him? Or was there someone else really there? It was hard to tell with Kory at times. She liked to be playful often and could cry wolf.
After drying off, Dick wrapped the towel around his waist and headed for the door. Everything he had was out in the living quarter of the small place. Kory was lucky he even bothered to shut the door if she did have someone with him. Usually if it was just the two of them, he let it be. But there was a bit of a draft from the screen door being left open and Dick did enjoy a hot shower to wake him up.
Opening the door, he started to head out one hand on the towel and the other on the door knob. "Who else would be in here? And what do you mean we," Dick questioned as he came out of the bathroom.
There he was greeted with the sight of his girlfriend in her bikini and by the looks of it, she had gotten back from the beach and not been by the pool like she said might be. And a small blond standing next to her. Ok, this put him in a bit of an awkward situation.
Dick looked to Kory. "You could have said we had a guest," he slightly mumbled to her while keeping some what of an uneasy smile on his face for the moment.
"Hey, I'm Dick as I'm sure Kory has already mentioned," Dick said. His eyes moving to the blond, but then returning to Kory again. "Bathrooms all yours ladies."
Dick ended the conversation rather quickly to get off to the side to go find some cloths to slip into as Kory's guest would be in the bathroom first.
As soon as they would be out of sight, he'd grab a pair of jean and a t-shirt to slip into. Though when Kory would come back to face him, Dick couldn't exactly get the words out over that first impression he had given the girl.
"You could have told me earlier you were bring Superman's cousin over," Dick said causally.
Even though the girl would have said her name to him, he recognized her from seeing her on some mission runs with the League. That and Clark has mentioned her a few times.

"I've heard quite a bit about the Bat-family. Though they keep things quiet," Kara said.
She had over heard conversations about the bat-family. And some jokes in the League over Batman being so uptight. But it was all in good fun. Every respected Batman. It was funny to think that most of the League members fear such a human like Batman, even with their powers.
"Spunky hair," Kara asked.
She wasn't all to sure what Kory was trying to say by that. She hadn't run into Tim yet. She usually would visit the Titan on weekdays after school to sometimes meet with Conner. So, he was always in Gotham when she came to town.
"I get what you're saying," Kara said. Though she wasn't much for that conversation.
It was interesting to hear, but she wasn't on the levels of where Kory and Dick seemed to be. Not from some things she has over heard at times from Beast Boy and Victor joking around.
Kara followed Kory into the little shack. It was a nice little place. And probably expensive to be able to stay in a little place by the see. She wouldn't be able to afford anything like this. Not even Clark. They weren't like the Bat-family with all the money. But she could go any where in the world when ever she wanted. Considering she wasn't in school or in trouble.
She waited with Kory as she talked about the place and looked around. Until she hear another voice. And there stood Dick Grayson. The man she had heard so much about. Especially today. And by the slight conversation, she was hardly given a chance to say much.
"Kara Kent," she said. Though she did try to avoid much glances at him. As it seemed awkward enough.
But she would admit, he was quite handsome. More so even than she had heard from some of the other Titan girls chatted about at times over the guys from the Tower.
As he rushed off, Kara looked to Kory. "I'll only be a moment or two," she said as she stepped into the bathroom to leave those two alone.
She felt bad for them catching him of guard like that. Probably not his favorite way to meet people. Though she could see why someone like him was quite on the top of the list when it came to keeping up with the competition in the Tower against metas and aliens.

So Kara didn't know Tim so well. From what she could take from Kara's subtle response, but not so much missing perhaps a hint of extra colour to her cheeks. Young, kids. His hair was defiantly a feature and similar to Dicks. Which just added to the cute factor. Not that Dick was so easily replaceable and Tim was still in the beginning of becoming his own man. Kory simply smiled and laughed subtly in response. In time Kara would understand a little more. Not that love or anything alike got overly easier, but one got to enjoy it more. Losing herself in talking about her own relationship wasn't hard to do as she could tell Kara, was only getting bits of it… Cute… Before soon the two ladies left the beach behind for a moment. Disappearing into the little beach cabin or love shack depending on how one described it. A little touch of paradise. It had certainly not been free, but it wasn't over the top expensive. Least from what Kory knew or Dick told her… It certainly was more humbling than the more hotel like accommodation. She had desired for the more beach like experience and more privacy
After stopping at the bathroom door and the polite knock… Kory half rolled her eyes in playful jest. Had he really preferred her just opening the door and just exposing more than the truth. Laughing a little under her breath. With no much of a voice, but the sound of water was certainly more clear and then soon she heard it turned off. Had it been like every other time, Kory wouldn't of even knocked, not just because the door would be left open… As was the humbling excuse, to save water. Two things or several things at once. Kory stepped back a little. In waiting along with Kara for a few moments. Resting a little against the couch. Pointing out the little details and the activities that could be found to do on the island or at sea. Then there was movement. Sounds. Kory smiled and happily mentioned to Kara she be able to meet Dick now. Not entirely expecting the near exposure, but it only made Kory smile.
"I don't know, Dick. Maybe one of the googly eyed girls from last night. X'hal only knows what happens when I'm not here…"
That was a sly joke of course on her behalf, not accusing him. Although by the way the girls acted, he sure could if he wanted to, yes a little jealousy, but savvy enough to laugh about it. Before playfully looking to Kara at Dick still wet and in his towel, shaking her head falling a little in her hand. Laughing as she leant a little further in the back of the couch. Priceless. Raising her eyes to the pleasant sight of him in his mumbled statement. Kory half gestured her hands up in the air. Naturally it was her fault, well she'd happily take the blame in this. Noting the awkwardness, knowing it could be a lot worse and it wasn't like he was bad looking in a towel. "I did say we…"
Kory said simply in her innocent defence, though no she hadn't mentioned guest. It hadn't greatly crossed her mind, clearly. As Kory smiled sweetly… He knew now… Next time she'd note to try and be more clear. Although she wasn't as complaining about the priceless moment, but no last thing she wanted was to make it awkward for him. Least he had the towel, but Kory's mind didn't need to wander far. Nothing she hadn't seen before…. Though happier note. As Dick introduced himself and met Kara. Step a head of Kory. Smiling with a sweet gratitude look in having the bathroom free, but her eyes went from bathroom to Dick…. Natural desire to follow…
"Oh certainly, feel free Kara. Take your time… "
Kory happily responded to Kara's words about the shower. Also seemingly eager to be away from the awkward encounter. Leaving Kory a moment or two with Dick. She be able to mention to him of Kara's interest in the team… Turning from the door and followed to where Dick has motioned for his clothes… Catching him putting them on. He was a beautiful man. Inside and out. She could contain herself for the time being. It wasn't as if they hadn't the time… She rest casually against against the couch, with her arms crossed. His words, Kory laughed a little at with the shake of her head. Before breaking the distance. Motioned her hands as Dick started to put his t-shirt over his head. Sweetly helped with the fitting of it. As he turned to face her. Fastened his pants, with a sweet as if taking care of him look.
"I'm sorry Dick, I didn't want to disturb your peace this morning… Are you mad? You're not jealous are you?… Actually I think Kara's looking for her own shadow. You should know how that feels… With what we talked about so far, she seems interested in the new team… I suggested you might be one to talk to about that… If you don't mind of course? I know we promised no work…"
Sweetly as Kory now faced him and apologised to him sincerely. Although in all honesty she hadn't thought it would have upset him so greatly. It was just a little girl time. Did he really need to be concerned about what that may entail. Shopping. Swimming and well chatting. Possibly about boys. Also having woken to him much a sleep, had she even told him, there was the chance he wouldn't of remembered. Just mumbles. Looking to him, hoping he wasn't too upset with her and then sweetly asked he wasn't jealous. Teasing him a little…. Before enlightening more about Kara and what they had talked about regarding her interest in the new team. Putting her arms around Dick's shoulder though reminding him about being in someone's shadow. On the other hand as she rubbed her nose against his. She could be content in being his shadow. Hopefully his better shadow. She laughed playfully as she told him and asked if he minded. Her hands falling back to come to his chest. Knowing there had been the promise of not much talk or act of work.
