Kara faced away from Kal. It was all part of the challenge. What was the fun in knowing where he was going to throw the stones?
The next had a spin to it. It was reducing it's air time and getting more movement to it. Too easy. Kara shot it out of the sky withing seconds of it's flight.
The next was an arched on. This time Kara gave it a bit of time. She wanted the distance to it. And as it was further away, she fired at it.
But the last one, Kal had definitely put more strength into his arm. The last one zipped pass her. And it was moving quickly out of sight. Though Kara still managed to target it and spend it shattering into pieces with her heat vision.
She turned around slightly to look over her shoulder with her hands on her hips. "Next," she spoke. A slight smile on her face.
"By the way, why didn't you go into a profession such as this baseball these humans play? I heard the gamers are quite rich, but no so much as these football players," she started off.
"I've read up on that game, but calling it football does not make much sense compared to the actually sport they call here soccer. Why isn't it hand ball or something," Kara spoke up.
She was definitely learning more of the culture they lived in. She could have learned it in less than a week. But she promised Kal she would try to keep the powers to a minimum while living as the humans do.

Clark watched as the rocks fly only to be hit by Kara's heat vision. As he watched a small smile crossed his face. Much like the smile of a proud uncle. She was getting better..... Not that she was bad, after all she had her powers long so to speak.
After she took out all the rocks he had thrown he scooped up abit more. "Well I felt it would be best if I didn't. That would make it fair for the humans." He commented with a slight grin. As he spoke he threw a few more stones through the air. One skipped across the ground slightly, the next he caused to spin through the air like a Frisbee seeing as it was a something of a disc shape.
"And you're right about football. It does seem rather strange. From what I understand they don't use their feet much in 'football'" He replied after giving it a moments thought. "Also I don't know why they're payed that much."

"Seems rather unfair to hold back such abilities," Kara replied.
She hadn't seen the one on the ground coming. Even with the slight delay to her reaction, she still managed to take it down a few seconds off from her earlier attempts.
"I mean I understand for the sake of the human's fairness. But it's difficult hiding it when it is what we do," she said.
She then saw the faster stone being thrown, Kara was going after them later because she was distracted by the new conversation. "That's how the human's see you though. As a type of idol or symbol," Kara brought up a slight point.
But the difference was Kal wasn't paid for what he did. He did it because he cared. As sappy as it sounded, but the truth.

Clark watched Kara stop the rocks and nodded with quiet approval. Of course she would be good at this but still it was nice to know that she was doing well at this. "You're right it does get hard to hide our powers sometimes. But its for the best that we do." He said in response to her comment
He crossed his arms looking around the island to see what else he could use. After all it seemed rather pointless to keep her doing the same thing over and over seeing as she had it under control. Maybe they could? No...... How about... They covered that last week. It was getting harder and harder to think of ways to test her without pulling out the same old tricks.
"Don't worry. I'm sure that with time humans will accept you the same way they've accepted me." He said showing that he truly believed what he said. But didn't want to sound over inflated or anything of the like.

"The humans see you as a champion. How is that something you hide? Why would you want to hide it," Kara said.
Kara did not understand Kal's way of earth. There was so much to learn. He had the best sight, but pretended to wear glasses. Ok, so he wanted a life to call his own.
But way take such a level of hiding. He could at least use some of his true powers to help him succeed more. Maybe she was jealous of seeming how some of the other Leagues lived. She was a teen after all, when she wasn't Supergirl.
"But have they really accepted you, Kal? Some still fear our kind. Like we might turn on them. We are powerful enough to do so, but they don't seem to stop worrying about the what ifs," Kara stated.

Clark looked at Kara as she asked her questions and listened to what she asked. "Well I personally don't see a reason to use my powers to help advance my placing on Earth. After all that would bring more attention to myself." He knew it probably wasn't the answer she was looking for but it was the best he could think of at the moment.
He gave a nod when she commented on some humans still fearing them. "There always will be some that fear us. Its just the way these people are." He looked at her with a firm look. "But that's no reason to stop protecting them."
