Another one of those days. She felt restless, and just wanted to get done with the slew of conference calls and mindless data comparisons. There had been several new releases of camera out, and the phone calls she'd been fielding about getting upgrades to her prior placements had been overwhelming. While she really shouldn't complain about the steady flow of business, she just wasn't in a mind to sit at her desk today.
So again, she had found herself quietly curled on the modern chair overlooking the city. She'd been lucky to have found this office space, and to snag it before it was purchased by who-knows-what business of whatever. A mug of steaming tea was in her hand as she sighed, inwardly willing the minutes to pass faster.
She had a one o'clock appointment in a little more than twenty minutes and wanted to look good. It had to be a new client, because the name wasn't familiar, nor had her cursory searches pulled up anything of relevance. Allie knew to alert her when the client showed, and then at the proper time, either let them in to her office, or she would come out. They had a system, and it worked so, so well. And she still had time to smooth the wrinkles from her dress, and reapply a coat of lipstick.

One’o’five wasn’t exactly what Len would call fashionably late, but he wasn’t exactly eager to prolong the wait before this meeting. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t excited, it had been a few years since he had last had the pleasure of seeing Selina Kyle and he was still reminiscing about how lovely the last time was.
She had straddled his chest. Aaahh. Memories.
In the frosty villain strode, hair combed and a crisp, black tux. He felt ridiculous and like he was in a bad James Bond Halloween costume, but he didn’t really look THAT bad. His goggles were tucked into his chest pocket and Allie cocked a brow at him when he pushed through the office doors.
Cold walked straight for her, a devil may care smile and a glimmer of heated appreciation play across her eyes gave a clear message to the secretary. “Hello Beautiful” Allie smiled despite feeling a smidgen uncomfortable with the pet name, but Cold pulled a folded up piece of printer paper out of the inside of his jacket. “Sorry, I’m Clyde. Clyde Scudder. I have an appointment with Miss Kyle at One”
Allie perked up a bit and nodded. “Oh yes! Of course! Mr.Scudder. We were expecting you, so sorry about that I was a bit distracted--” “No worries” Cold raked a hand through his hair, messing it up with a sort of coy, boyish charm the secretary was a little surprised to see on such a weathered face. “I--I’m sorry about that earlier comment, I was a little surprised myself”
Despite herself, Allie leaned forward and tilted her head inquisitively. “About?” The man grinned wolfishly, curiosity was always good. “I didn’t expect to see someone quite so pretty. My mouth gets ahead of my brain sometimes” The blond blinked, then had the modesty to blush a little and cover her mouth to giggle.
Still giggling at the grinning man, Allie leaned over to her intercom and pressed the large button. “Miss Kyle. Your One’o’Clock is here”
Cold gave his head a nod. “Thank you Miss---say---Wanna see something cool?” The brightness in the secretary’s eyes was all the Rogue needed to know he had her, hook, line and sinker.
Five minutes passed by after Allie had informed Selina that her appointment was there, and still Mr.Scudder did not show. There was a simple explanation as to why; Allie was currently held in the man’s arms, back to chest, pointing his cold gun at the office lobby’s fern.
She giggled as his goggles sat on her nose crookedly, far too big for her but they would suffice as he helped her aim. “No. Ahah. No Allie like this, lock those elbows---There you go. No when you fire it’s gonna be bright. Don’t be scared about kickback, it’s smooth as a kitten”
Cold was purring sweet nothings into the secretary’s ear as he helped her kill the defenseless vegetation.

Lost in watching a curl of smoke from an adjoining building, legs finally uncurled from beneath her as she stood, carrying her half-emptied mug to her desk to check the time. It felt like merely seconds had gone by, instead of ...nearly twenty minutes. Shit. Blinking as she stared mildly confused at the clock, she was wondering just what the heck was going on with Allie. Just then Allie announced her one o'clock appointment. Sometimes clients were late, she had to understand that. Alec had been out of the office on lunch and a few errands, so he wasn't out there. But her secretary was pretty on top of things.
Her tea was set down on the desk as she strode to her door, opening and closing it with a certain dedication, the short hallway opening into the reception area. Giggles and proud encouragement hit her ears as she opened the door. Considering Allie had announced the man, perhaps he had wanted her to come out and meet her? This whole thing was rather peculiar as the hallway was traversed and Selina moved to lean against the wall, watching the scene before her.
Shaking her head, she couldn't help from allowing the bemused smile to form on her lips. Snart. Of course he'd use a false name. And of course he'd go after Allie, showing off one of his toy's. And poor fern. She'd have to call up Ivy and see if she could help out. Filing that away for later, Selina watched as her fern was subsequently wiped out. Maybe that call to Ivy wouldn't be needed.

Cold was too perceptive not to notice when he was being watched, even with a lovely woman in his arms he perked up and looked over his shoulder just as Selina got comfortable leaning against the wall.
That boyish grin strengthened ten fold and slowly, the man spun Allie around in a little twirl; aiming her back towards her desk. He quite enjoyed flirting with her but he didn’t want to get her in trouble, at least--not the kind of trouble that’d get her fired.
His gun now safely back in it’s holster, tucked under his rented tux, Cold cocked his head inquisitively at Selina and just looked at her. God he surely did enjoy just taking her in, she didn’t need to be provocative or say anything for him to simply enjoy that she existed.
Cold gave an innocent shrug. “Hello again Kid. Been a long time” The soft tone that he had been using on Allie disappeared into the ‘6am-drinking hot glass’ raspy voice he usually boasted, it sounded like it should itch whenever he spoke but he carried the uncomfortable baritone well. “Hope you don’t mind me using an alias, I didn’t think you’d give me the time of day if I made this appointment as Captain Cold”
He was teasing, but trying to stand at an angle that hid the little love handles that the too tight tuxedo revealed.

"Mhm." Her arms had crossed as she watched his little moves on Allie. "You might be calling Pam up, because you owe me a new fern, Lennie." She drawled, her eyes twinkling with joy as she saw the lengths he had gone through to see her. And a tux? Now that was a treat on this rather bland, boring day at the office.
"Well, it wouldn't have been nearly this much fun if you'd used your name. And you-know-who- would've been here before you stepped foot across the office threshold." And he was trying so, so hard to look good. She had to give the man credit for that, as she unfurled her arms and crooked a finger at him to follow her. To her office.
"C'mon, you. Let's go chat a bit more privately." She winked at Allie, who was clearly flustered, cheeks bright pink as she was busying herself with stacking papers.

For a split second a sour expression lingered on Cold’s face; the notion of having to get a fern from Poison Ivy was NOT a pleasant one, there was no way he was going to do it. He’d just buy one from a local hardware store or something equally less dangerous.
Tugging his lapels until they were straight, he forced a smirk back into place and stalked after the gesturing women like a tom cat on the prowl. He tucked his thumbs into the pockets of his slacks, giving Allie one last bemused wink before he disappeared down the hall back towards Selina’s office.
“I knew you’d appreciate the game, you always were one for foreplay” Cold looked around at the walls and various office art that decorated the place. It looked cozy, but so enclosed and cramped. It didn’t feel right, not for the woman walking ahead of him, it felt too much like a cage.

If the waiting room seemed cramped, her own office was the opposite. Floor to ceiling windows, light, airy furniture. If she had to be stuck in a cage, she was going to be able to see out of it in as many directions as she could. Illusion was sometimes the best distraction.
Sauntering down the hall, she didn't even bother to look behind her. If he'd gone through the troubles with not only a false name, but wooing her secretary and a tux? He'd follow. And the subtle noises behind her told her so.
Opening the door and holding it momentarily for Snart, Selina waved a hand in a wide arc before her. "Welcome to my daily home. Where I am a professional, and trusted, and something of that sort." She snorted, before offering him something to drink. She had quite an assortment, between the small espresso machine, the minifridge, and of course, sparkling water.
"Meow. You know me a bit too well, you know. What are you doing in Gotham?" Locking eyes with him for a second, she went back to her desk, perching on it's surface instead of going behind it to her chair.

Snart whistled in appreciation as he oogled the spacious office, walking passed Selina to boldly lumber towards the window. “Nice digs to be sure, you’ve done well for yourself pussycat” Cold mused idly, talking more to himself and the office view than to the woman behind him.
Cold held his hand up to politely refuse the woman, he wasn’t thirsty at the moment though he would probably find his mouth going dry by the end of this meeting. It wasn’t as unpleasant a notion as he might have normally thought.
He looked over to Selina, considering her for a moment before smiling. “I’m on vacation. Sort of like a Tour of Crime across the US of A. With two Flash’s in Central and Keystone my joints and I needed a break. Gotham is my last stop until I head back.” Snart walked around her desk and sat himself down in one of the lovely little chairs that was situated in front of Selina’s desk.
For a few terrifying seconds he thought his ass might punch a hole through the chair, it was so light and dainty. Thankfully it held and he continued. “Was thinking of one last hurrah before heading back home---That and I owe someone money”
He had the decency to avert his gaze from her in embarrassment.

She knew better than to bring up just who he owed money to. And considering he was going through all of these fun little niceties, she refrained from being too bitchy. After all, they had worked together. And Lenny, well, she did have a bit of a soft spot for him. If only he didn't act a fool so much. He was so much more than just the quips.
So she nodded back to him when he politely refused anything to drink. Green eyes watched him as he glanced around her office. She had done well for herself, so far, even going as far to parlaying her once cover business into something legitimate. That was a shock she had never expected. Someone actually going to a woman instead of WayneCorp for security. She'd made quite a few good contacts in that case, even making a name for herself in Gotham, to a degree anyone could without stealing or causing havoc in a mask.
As soon as he sat, she pressed the ball of her foot to his knee, gently applying pressure. "Well, that certainly sounds like a hell of a time back home. Flash. Two of them. You'd think they would parcel them out, considering what they do." She shrugged slightly, perched on the edge of her desk still. She was, and wasn't shocked he hadn't gotten caught. He was smart; and had the brains. But it was always the hubris that caught most of them. At least in her experience.
"Well, if you are thinking of a good time, I may know of someone that might be able to help you settle this debt." She'd just give him the money if it would help him. But there was a certain code, she knew that he followed back in Central City. And hell, why not have a bit of fun, and help a friend out?

Cold’s eyes instantly glued to the foot on his knee, a coil of heat welled up in his belly and it was a bit of a wonder that he managed to keep from twitching in response to the contact. Dammit. He was gonna get distracted if she kept doing things like that---Aw hell she was going to anyway.
The Rogue let his eyes snap back up to meet her’s and he smirked with open, male satisfaction.
“If this friend is of the feline variety then I couldn’t say I could ask for anything more” Gently, a rough hand moved to encircle Selina’s ankle, treating the appendage as if it was a piece of glass work, instead of the deadly weapon it was. He remembered what she could do with those legs.
“I plan on going out with a bang before I go back to getting my frosty ass handed to me back home”
He kept his hand on her ankle, a gentle reminded of his own prowess, though his intentions were merely to enjoy the contact until she chose to break it.

Blinking her eyes in feline satisfaction, she too relished the contact. It had been a while since they'd had fun like this. Plotting, planning, executing. Her last taste of the darker side of the line had been with Eddie. And while she'd done many teamups, there was something so delectable about partnering with men that were a few shades to the left of 'bad.'
And Leonard, well, he played into everything he almost made Bruce look like a bumbling teen. His grasp was hot on her skin, and green eyes met his.
"Well, I think she is. And maybe, if you ask nicely, she may indulge you in a bit more." Winking, the ball of her foot increased pressure on his knee.
"You have your rules back home. You just need to figure out how to circumvent them, Lenny. Then you wouldn't be put behind bars, AND have fun."

Cold took a moment to simply enjoy the tension between them, she was a woman who knew how to have fun and he was a guy who could appreciate that. He couldn't help a little grin from forming.
"Oh, I think I manage to have plenty of fun, even with my rules...You ever break out of jail through a mirror?"
With caution, the ice villain slid his hand around till his palm gently cupped the back of her ankle, leaning back in the chair he asserted enough pressure to lift up the lovely appendage to his mouth. Cold made sure to keep eye contact with the deadly seductress before him, planting his rough mouth on the curve of her ankle joint; where those amazing legs met her foot.
It was soft and quick, he wasted no time pulling back and smiling up the length of her body. "Pretty please"
Cold tried his best not to appear pleased with himself, but he was a bit proud. Seduction wasn't his forte, he had read at least three magazines on how to be romantic with strong ladies; he thought he was doing rather well.
He knew he was no looker, but he was enough of an alpha male to be alluring to some. At the moment, he had no time to think about his own grizzled looks, instead he crowed loudly to his fellow Rogues in distant (and not so distant) Cities.
Take THAT you assholes.

She didn't wear stockings. There was no need for them. But today, she'd felt like it. His lips would meet silk so fine his mouth would barely taste them. Then again, she knew Lenny. And Lenny had a keen sense of tactile familiarity. Allowing him to do as he wished was something she rarely, if ever, allowed anyone to do with her. It would have taken a quick flick of his own wrist to disable, or worse, injure her. And easily.
But he knew better. And she actually enjoyed her time with him, no matter how much he would rag on his looks. If she could get away with heists in a cozy parka with a hood like he did, she would. But there was just no damn way Gotham would let her stalk around like that. Sadly. And she liked Gotham more than she cared to admit to relocate. And Lenny was just so quick. If she didn't know better, she'd have thought he grew up around cats. He knew just when to move, when to lavish attention, and when to pull away. The perfect way to tease a feline.
And all with that coy gaze. He could've asked her to steal...well, anything at that point, and she'd probably agree. Finally cutting off the gaze she'd held the entire time with a slow blink, she sighed prettily. "Actually, no. A mirror is something else. Then again, I've not been incarcerated before. Meaning, well...you know, I've never been caught." Winking at him, her foot pressed once more against his knee.
"What were you wanting to lift? I'm in."
It was really that simple for a woman like her.
