She had tried her damndest. Even with her pull with Arkham's security at the moment, she'd had her difficulties. The food was a non-issue. She'd been able to have portions of each section of the Gala's themed areas packaged, and sent to Ivy. Several small carafe's of the wine, as well. A duplicate place setting; fine bone china, the silver, all of it.
She'd even sent over a few of the delicate scarves for Ivy. She'd declined to send a dress. Or anything of that sort. But she had thought to send a masseuse. Because, why not? She knew the sting of not being able to come to the Gala would be bad enough. She'd sent an invitation as well to Ivy.
But the real kicker was the setup she'd sent over. To the naked eye it was a simple computer. But she'd hooked it into the security cameras with Lex's help. She'd explained in detail that Pamela Isley was a friend. And not only a friend, but a dearfriend, and could not make it. Luthor had understood, and smiled, showing her how she could link the glasses to the feed sent to Pamela, and later on could skip, or even skim channels as she wished to look on differing birds-eye views of the festivities.
So when it was a bit before the Gala, Selina slipped on her 'glasses' and pressed on her earlobe.
"Ivy, can you hear me? This should be hooked up and ready to go. I wanted to give you a bit of a tour, first. Then I'll let you play around as is when people start to arrive." The feedback from her first words buzzed harshly in her ear before everything went smooth. Or so she thought. Ivy, if everything was working up to spec should be able to hear her words through the computer. If not, she was going to have a hell of a time hearing anything, and Selina would need to make visit to the tech folks.
On the monitor would be a crystal clear view of the starting point of the Gala; the entrance. Awash in blues and water, it was a calming, brilliant entrance. And it would only get better.

"Yes, I can hear you, darling," Poison Ivy replies, sounding in very good spirits. After all, while Selina has already been extremely generous in providing so many things that has made her stay at the asylum less than completely miserable, all of that pales in comparison to what she's getting this evening. She's really outdone herself this time even though, sadly, most of it is a 'this evening only' thing. Still, she's not going to complain about it just because it can't be a more regular thing.
And she's done her own part in making how she'll be enjoying the Gala happen. Not that she knows anything about the tech setup, but she imagines that Dr. Arkham could have put his foot down and claimed that it 'wasn't in the best interest of his patient' if he'd wanted to, regardless of how many strings Selina has to pull. However, she's left him with little excuse to say so - not only has she continued to be 'on her best behavior', her apparently declining health has him eating out of her hand to some degree. It worries him and a worried man is more likely to make unusual allowances.
Of course, even as much as she's going to enjoy all of this, that doesn't mean it won't be without mixed feelings. After all, if she lets herself this could all be just a painful reminder that she's not there herself. She likes fun parties like this, and it's really not fair that she has to be locked up for this one - it was enough to make her consider escaping just to attend, but while that would have been a short bit of entertainment in exchange for a huge amount of hassle. No, it's better that she stay at the asylum for it. But she just has to view this as a special and very welcome diversion from the usual here at the asylum - a chance to escape mentally for awhile at the very least - a special treat rather than something she's being deprived of.
The masseuse certainly helps with that.

She can hear the response through her earpiece- her upgraded earpiece, she should say, and nods, the view bobbling slightly.
"I'll walk you through each area. Lex and I came up with a cohesive theme, after rejecting many ideas..." She leads Ivy through the themed atmosphere's, starting with the entrance in it's blues, going on to the more airy 'mingling' area, with people in corresponding attire attending to the food stations.
The airy decor leads to the next area, a more solid, 'earthy' venue, which is the bar. It's set in more tans and taupe's, areas of flame and braziers scattered throughout. The next area is warmer, as they've already traversed through water, wind, earth. The fire environment is just as such. Awash in vivid reds, flame, and bright color, the different flooring, and tables, as well as bars and associated dance floor seem to come quite alive.
The next area is a more formal dining area, incorporating thoughts and hints of the prior environments. A rich hardwood floor, glass tables, and a rocky area show off a look over water. Selina points out that it's a hologram, and where the official 'presentation' will be taking place. A few steps more, and the balcony seating area is shown. Open air, of course. With rich, plush leather seating and an enviable view of the skyline, it's bound to be popular later on in the night.
Pausing, Selina excuses the awkward view as she sets the glasses down, as to show Ivy a full view of her dress, and of course, her newly gifted bracelet, ring and necklace.
"I'm quite aware it's Lex Luthor, and many aren't as fond of him, but can you see this bracelet, Ivy?" She rotates her right wrist to show off the intricate metalwork, and the large gemstone inlaid within.
It's a few more moments, when Selina is fussing with a few switched, and then Ivy is able to switch between screens at ease, to follow whatever area she would like.
"Sound is going to be different, considering there will be more people. But as soon as the auction, as well as the presentation start, those should be somewhat easier to follow." Going to sit, she slips her shoes off for a moment, grateful for the small reprieve to chat with her friend. It's bittersweet she's not allowed, even on good behavior to come to the event.
And while Ivy may not be one of the more outright malicious 'villains,' she still doesn't find it quite fair to have to sequester someone that is her friend, no matter what her extracurriculars. "So, Ivy, I thought you'd approve of the dress, and please tell me that Javier was good to you." The masseuse was one of her finer ideas to send Ivy, other than the food, the liquor, and the observation equipment. She'd heavily debated sending a dress and so forth, but that might've only served to hammer home the fact the redhead couldn't come too.
"I just hope that the other's there...aren't too wound up by me working with Luthor to...work on the Asylum." She's careful to choose her wording on the subject, considering the secure, yet still open channel they're speaking on. She hasn't heard much grumbling, other than the obvious with the Joker, but that is for an entirely different reason.

Watching as Selina gives her a tour, Poison Ivy scrutinizes the decor of each environment with a critical eye. She's been to many events in her life - some, though admittedly not many, were even bigger than this Gala. So it takes quite a bit to impress her, though she seems to be reasonably so with what Selina's showing her. Well, except that very predictably she's quite certain that there's not enough greenery among the decor, though if there was enough decor to satisfy Poison Ivy then there wouldn't be much room left for the guests. Still, she particularly appreciates the dining area, even to the point that she might consider visiting the place when she gets out.
When the tour is finished and Selina shows her what she's wearing, there's an audible gasp of delight. "Why, Selina! You look utterly divine! Where did you find that dress?" she gushes, "And yes - the bracelet is lovely! Lex is responsible for it?" Just because she can't say that she's a fan of the man - an opinion based largely upon the mere fact that he's the head of a ridiculously large organization - doesn't mean that he can't have managed to pick out an honestly quite beautiful piece of jewelry.
Granted the freedom to change the view, she does a few times just to test it out but then stops back on Selina - after all, she should have plenty of opportunity to mess with it later so chatting with Selina is far more entertaining at the moment. "The people watching is always far more entertaining than the actual conversation anyway," she remarks as Selina comments on the sound. She supposes that they might have given her a proper teleprescence, but then again she's not sure that she'd enjoy that - having that kind of crowd talking to her while she's locked up? The conversation would likely be far more irritating than entertaining. No, it's enough just to watch, so she's content with the setup.
As Selina mentions the masseuse, Poison Ivy can't help but smile contentedly, "Yes, he was..." Normally she really, really doesn't like to be touched, but a massage is different. And much more appreciated than a dress would be - while there is some fun in wearing a dress just for yourself, the real fun with such finery is being seen in it. So if she's not going to be seen she might as well be comfortable, and the only thing not completely lacking in the standard issue patient uniform at the asylum is comfort.
The last thing that Selina says causes a laugh, and she says, "Actually, since the majority of the patients here already couldn't escape in their wildest dreams, they're actually looking forward to an improved facility." But, of course, those aren't the ones that one should be concerned about anyway. "As for the rest... The general consensus is that there's nothing that you or Luthor can do even combined to keep them in here, it's cute that you're trying, and if you somehow manage to actually make it a challenge, then your challenge is accepted," she says with a grin. Of course, she's in the latter group herself, though she's not simply speaking for herself - she does like to keep up to date on the latest gossip in the rec room, so she's actually able to provide an accurate summary of patient opinion on such topics.

Selina can't help but blush at Ivy's comments. "Lex, actually. I had a few dresses chosen, but nothing really worked. He had this sent over day of. I'll have to ask him where he had it made, because it's divine!" Running her hand along the bodice, she does admit it looks good, and fits like a glove. Somehow the man had gotten her measurements, or close enough, and had it custom made. The beading at the bodice was delicate, the main part of the dress form fitting but blossoming out in a rather delicate hem that showcased her legs in the front.
Her wrist his rotated again as her fingertips play along the delicate filigree. It's not only a pretty bauble, but it's technology is just breathtaking. Enough that she smiles sweetly before turning back to the 'camera' that Ivy is viewing her through. "He is. The necklace and earrings as well. I guess the man wanted me to look appropriate. If I had to chance a guess, I'm thinking he may be wearing emerald as an accent tonight for his tuxedo." She quips, and goes to sit while she has a minute or two before everything starts. Ivy is getting the hang of the system, and the two women banter back and forth somewhat. "I agree, but sadly, I have to entertain people. There is a reason I'd rather be a guest at these things, than host them. You can leave when you wish, you don't have to talk to everyone, you can ignore people...." She could go on and on, but no doubt Ivy understands the endless tedium herself.
Selina nods, noting the tone in which the masseuse was commented on. She can't keep the devious flicker out of her eyes at that one, and nearly starts to laugh. While a dress would have been nice, it wouldn't have been appreciated in Ivy's current location. So she'd sent alternate comforts, one could see.
As Metropham is addressed, Selina listens with rapt attention. She can understand wanting an improved facility, clearly. But the challenge? Well that little tidbit she'll have to relay to Luthor later. And she lets out a good laugh at that one, shaking her head. "I'll be sure to let Mr. Luthor know that. And for the record? I still think it's stupid that you're in there. I'd rather have you here with me, because you get these sort of events. And how ridiculous they are. And boring." She whines out the last word, rolling her eyes as she shakes her head. It was a common rule to always have a 'buddy' at these events in case of unwanted attention, or even boredom. And she so wishes she could tell Ivy what she was really doing with this whole buddy-buddy Luthor thing, but she doesn't trust her words to be held for all eternity on tape; be it visual, or audio. But the deviousness in her green eyes only hints at what her true purpose is in the whole Metropham endeavor.

So not just the jewelry but the entire dress? Okay, so the man really does have good taste - that doesn't make her like him though. Actually, that simply makes Poison Ivy all the more suspicious about why the man is giving one of her friends so many things, because whatever the reason is it can't be for anything less than sinister. Unfortunately, it's simply impossible for her to do anything about it while she's still within these walls, but keeping Luthor away from Selina will surely make her to-do list when she gets out.
"I certainly can't argue with the color," she has to admit, though it's that detail that makes her quite certain that, as lovely as it is on Selina, she's quite certain that she could pull it off even better. Granted, if it was purple or something then clearly it would favor Selina, but green? As if anyone could pull off green better than her! But she forces herself away from that line of thought - thinking about clothes is so depressing when you've had nothing but the standard issue asylum uniform to wear for so long. A 'shopping' spree is certainly on the to-do list when she escapes. Not that she doesn't have so many lovely things back at her hideout, which is still undiscovered, but it's all last season now...
Nodding easily as Selina complains about her hosting duties, she comments, "Perhaps we'll have to compare experiences afterward and decide which of us had the better time." Because, on one hand, Poison Ivy won't have to deal with any of the things that Selina listed. Though on the other hand, she can't really participate and is in the asylum. Which may sound on the surface to be much more unpleasant than hosting a party, but Poison Ivy has hosted large events before - it really ought to be quite comparable. Well, except for the fact that tomorrow one of them will wake up free to do as she pleases and the other will not, but that's where the comparison breaks down.
Yet she knows that it won't be that much longer before she'll be free again - she just needs to set a date. Well, she's always simply needed to do that, but she thinks that she's about ready to actually do so - her plans are finally starting to come neatly together in her head. Though she's been careful not to boast neither more nor less than she always has about how she'll easily escape the moment that she wants to. Something she quite firmly believes even among the talk of upgrading the asylum - partly because she figures that it will be a process that will take far longer than she's going to wait before she's out, and partly because to say that she has her doubts about their ability to put any sort of roadblock in her plans even if it was finished is putting it mildly to say the least. She'll be able to waltz right out no matter how fancy the lock is that they put on her cell.
Looking amused when Selina says that she'll pass the gossip on to Luthor, the rest of what she says prompts a disgusted exhale. "I know! It's not like I killed anyone important or anything," she says with a roll of her eyes. Well over a hundred unimportant people, but really the world is better off without them. Most of them were criminals even - they should be thanking her! "Well, I'll simply have to find a way to make it up to you for not being there when I get out," she promises, "I mean, of course I'll be awfully busy at first, but the moment things settle down, we are going to have some fun." Both out and in costume, yes!

"You know I prefer a purple, but I can't argue with this. It really is the prettiest shade of emerald." She fusses with part of the emerald chiffon skirt. It's quite form-fitted in the bodice, but the rest is like there is nothing there. The gown really is a piece of art in it's own way as it drapes perfectly on her. The color could have been purple, but she's nearly as fond of green as she is the former. When she's not wearing black, or grey, or some other muted tone that is.
As Ivy mentions her own hostess endeavors, Selina raises a glass to her. "Now that I will hold you to, Ivy. I still can't lament enough that I wish you were here at my side, rather than there. While Lex has a fantastic palette and taste, as you can see, it just would have been more fun with a woman. Things like this always are with a friend who understands."
Sipping the bubbly, the cool champagne quite refreshing, Selina snerks lightly at the admission. Killing isn't her bag, and there are more than enough other's in her circle of 'friends' that she could ask a favor of, if she really needed to. "You better not forget that. We'll have to hit up the Iceberg, and of course, that new store on 5th and Quid. No one understands shoes like you do. But you can't forget. How long until they're letting you spread your wings again? And if you need me to stop by with another basket, let me know. Hopefully this time I'll be able to get a few extra things in, you know, considering I'm co-heading this 'revamp," she says, her jeweled hand motioning to the venue around them, her tone blase as she shows her disdain for both the security[lack of it] at the Asylum, as well as her friend having already overstayed her time there as well.

At Selina's words, Poison Ivy can't help but grin wickedly. "Well, of course! Naturally, there's no substitute for me. But I'm sure that you've managed to make up for what Mr. Luthor lacks and that the gala will go off splendidly. Though perhaps at some point we may be able to arrange for something ourselves - trust me, that's doable. I've had so many interesting ideas while I've been in here - none that are ready for discussion though," she says, chattering easily even though she's going to remain very tight lipped about her plans.
The best way to keep a secret is to keep it in your head, after all. Not that she doesn't trust Selina with her secrets, but she knows how unsecured this conversation is - especially on her end. Rumor has it that Dr. Arkham spies on everything on the asylum. Which can't be literally true, but then again the rumors probably wouldn't have started if they weren't at least partly true and since there are hardly any situations where it would be impossible it's best to assume that nowhere is safe. She'll just have to wait until she's out to wow Selina with her brilliance.
When Selina asks when they're going to let her out, Poison Ivy can't help but laugh and say, "Oh, they aren't planning on letting me out of here until I'm 'cured' of my 'insanity', at which point they'd want me to go to trial for my 'crimes'." Even without the air quotes it's easy to tell which words she finds ridiculous by the contemptuous way that she says them. "Which is why I'm securing my own release. And that will happen whenever I'm in the mood for it..." she adds with a shrug, but then brightens at the idea of another basket - after all, Selina is pretty much single-handedly responsible for making her time at the asylum not totally miserable. "I will have to ponder and send you a list - there are a few things that are barely outside the rules that I'd love to have. And between your influence and the fact that they know I won't do anything bad with it, I don't see why they'd refuse," she says with a shake of her head.
Which is true up to a point - she's proved very conclusively that she can and will avoid doing anything that would compromise the many privileges that she enjoys. But, on the other hand, her frequent talk of how she intends to just walk out of here at her convenience has got to make them wary - and the more intelligent would note that if she does try to escape then she will suddenly not care about losing her privileges. Then again, she's talked about escaping from the moment she arrived and has apparently not lifted a finger in an effort to do so, so it's easy to dismiss it as all talk.

She laughs and beams brightly at Ivy's words again. It is true that the coupling of her and Lex has been going swimmingly. But it's only because they have a common goal in mind, and both are business owners. Even though she has a faint inkling there is more going on behind Luthors' easy, focused demeanor. Waving her hand at the woman who she is chatting with remotely she quite understands the need to not want to talk so publicly.
"We'll have to catch up over dinner on that subject then," she states, understanding not wanting to garner more time in the facility. As Ivy continues to talk, Selina takes note of this and that, and smirks at the talk of escaping. She doesn't think it's bullshit, and knows her friend is quite capable. Quite. And not a woman to be easily trifled with considering how 'gifted' she is. But Selina shows her own distaste in the word selection as Ivy, and in another breath, is quite glad she's 'sane' enough to have never been caught. Then again, she has a bit of pull, and dislikes confrontation. Both ingredients in a recipe to not get caught. She just prefers getting in, getting what she needs, and getting out. Quickly, quietly, and with stealth. She isn't much into the big show for some of her other counterparts. Why the need for such a production at times?
"Well, the sooner you send me the list, the sooner you'll get the items you know. And we may have a bit more pull after tonight, and this." She motions to her surroundings as they chatter, glancing at her bracelet-cum-watch-cum-gizmo Lex bestowed her with. She's sad to have to cut their conversation short after a few more minutes, but she has a Gala to co-chair.

"Hmm, yes, I know just the place..." Poison Ivy replies, refraining from mentioning where exactly. As easy as it is for her to avoid spilling secrets, she does look forward to a time when she won't have to be so tight-lipped all the time. Not that there aren't quite a few things she would still keep to herself even if she knew that their communication was completely secure, but it would be so much more freeing if she could put her tongue on a much longer leash than she can afford to do presently.
If you were to ask her, she's definitely not crazy. Not even a little bit! Yes, she recognizes that she broke more than a few very serious laws an excessive number of times, but she certainly doesn't believe that those laws are legitimate or see why anyone should adhere to them. Absolutely nothing she did was wrong, and the fact that anyone else thinks so is frankly baffling to her. And that the fact that she feels that way has caused them to decide that she's crazy merely indicates that everyone involved in that decision are idiots. But rather than sitting in her cell stewing about how unfair it all is, she instead notes that at least the asylum is much better than prison in so many ways - she's allowed to have so many nice things they wouldn't let her have in prison, she's absolutely surrounded by people who are easy to manipulate, and she has had to endure far fewer annoying trials. There's the occasional hearing to determine whether or not she's 'still too insane to go to trial', but that's been it.
"I'll get to work on it right away, then," she replies with a nod, "Not literally of course - it wouldn't do for me to miss a moment of this evening." Even for something as fun as pondering what sort of lovely things that Selina might be able to convince them to give her.

Selina smiles as Pam muses on somewhere to go. She trusts the woman in her judgement of shoes and restaurants. The rest? Well, she trusts her gut and goes with each circumstance as it crosses her path. Not that she questions the woman's judgement overall, it's just that a cat is wary of most things it comes in contact with. And Selina is no different.
With a nod, Selina encourages that. "Maybe even by the end of the night. If you just mention my name, and your requests, I can pull that from the footage. Because of course we need to chat about what happens tonight, after the fact. But as soon as you think of those items, the sooner I can get them to you. And I'd hate for you to be in want of something that I could easily procure, Ivy." Standing, Selina smoothed down her dress idly as she gives a bit of a wave as she says goodbye, at least for now. She then strides over to where a small group of people is congregated; Luthor being one of them, another being one of the water acrobatics, another performer dressed in green. They're almost ready to start accepting attendees, and she's rather excited to get the whole show on the road. And even better to get together with Ivy post-Gala to chatter like women are prone to do about who wore what, and even who did what sort of actions. Because where is the fun in just going to an event like this?

"Of course..." Poison Ivy agrees immediately with a nod. No big occasion such as this is complete until one has thoroughly discussed it with one's girlfriends. Especially in this case where they'll surely end up with vastly different perspectives on the entire thing, as Selina will experience it first hand and as a host, while Poison Ivy will be the proverbial fly on the wall.
Nodding again she laughs as she adds, "And I'll ponder what I'd like as I watch the Gala then - though I worry that will make the list consist entirely of jewelry and other pretty things." Because she really does enjoy anything and everything fashion, even if there's not much point to it in the asylum. Especially clothing, as she's expected to use the standard ugly uniform just like everyone else. Ah, but things like jewelry, perhaps a hat, hair accessories and such... And what might she be able to get away with in the shoe department? She'll have to be careful to remember to mention the more practical things she'd like - cosmetics that she's in danger of running out of mostly - before she gets too deeply into pondering such things or she'll surely forget.
After she's said goodbye - adding in a reminder to have fun - she takes the time to thoroughly familiarize herself with the system she's been hooked into. She certainly doesn't want to miss one moment of the action because she doesn't know how to get the best view of it, after all. Fortunately, though she may not be the most naturally gifted at technology, she's a genius and learns quickly so by the time the first guests begin to come in she's pretty sure that she has it down. And at that point, she at first gives herself a wide shot of the entrance area so that she can observe them as they come in without focusing on anyone in particular. After all, anyone who is really important will show up fashionably late so the people who arrived a little early won't be anyone she cares too much about.

As she watches the guests begin to come in, Poison Ivy notes many familiar faces among the guests. Of course, just because she recognizes a person doesn't mean that she thinks that they're interesting or care at all about them - she knows a lot of people, after all, especially in certain social strata, and a lot of them aren't really worth knowing in the first place. Still, she's certain that there's going to be at least a few interesting people attending, and she certainly won't want to miss spotting them among the arrivals.
Though at first she comes up empty: boring nobody after boring nobody... Oh, and there's Rupert Thorne - he's a somebody, but he's still boring. Just as the novelty of watching this begins to wear off and she starts to feel just a little bored, a couple catches her attention. Not because she recognizes them immediately, but because the woman gives her that very vague feeling of having seen her before and the man she's with is wearing a hat that makes her viewing his face from her vantage point difficult. And it doesn't escape her attention that he seems to be avoiding the cameras of the press on purpose either.
Fortunately, the security system she's been tapped into is more difficult to avoid than the flashing cameras, and a smirk comes to Poison Ivy's face when she recognizes Eddie. Oh, well, now this will be fun to watch! A foolish person to invite since she hardly believes that the man has any ability to control himself for very long. Hmm, and the woman with him would be one of those ridiculous henchgirls he used to have, now apparently with him again. She's never had the displeasure of meeting the woman, but she probably came across a photo of her at some point - it's a good idea to know what there is to know about her fellow rogues after all.
As the man makes his way further in, she's soon frowning because she finds herself suddenly torn between wanting to watch for more interesting arrivals, but also wanting to keep an eye on whatever Eddie manages to ruin. But wait, wasn't there some sort of split screen feature? Messing around with the controls for a moment, she smiles in satisfaction as she puts one view back at the entrance and the other following Eddie. And she's quick to be glad that she did, because on the one screen, she notices the teenage girl lingering near Selina - now who is that? - while in the other she can see that Eddie seems to have turned his attention toward a certain local celebrity reporter of no real importance. Now, what does he have to do with her? Whatever it is, she's sure that it's something barely worth rolling her eyes at.

In spite of her interest in Eddie's antics, she's not so distracted by him as to see if she can't get an audio feed of whatever he's saying - no, for the moment she's literally just keeping an eye on him. Instead more of her attention lingers on the view of the entrance, as the guests keep coming. But most of them are completely boring, boring, boring...
Wait, back up - some of those boring people looked vaguely familiar. It takes a moment of pondering, as she's certainly not used to seeing them in such plain clothes, but weren't some of those boring people police officers? Now, why would Selina go inviting so many of them to this party? That's certainly not her idea of a party... Yes, she could see inviting the Commissioner to something like that - he's one to include on the list of city officials for an event that's supposed to be fore the city, but surely he'd be enough on his own?
But her pondering of that is interrupted when she notices a couple arriving - one that makes her instantly roll her eyes. She doesn't much care for Wayne. And the woman with him is certainly no Wonder in her eyes. She doesn't know much about the super-heroine, but if only because of the side they're respectively on she suspects that she wouldn't like her. An idea that's only confirmed by the fact that she apparently consented to go anywhere with Wayne as her date.
Though as she's stewing at that and ignoring more unimportant guests, another pair catches her eyes. Especially since the somewhat laughable height difference in the couple - to the man's disfavor - makes them stick out just that much. But there's Ozzy and Lola - the latter of whom she quickly makes a mental note to remember to meet with after she's left the asylum. She does have to follow up and make sure that the woman has been properly educated, after all, whether her business partner is happy with that idea or not.

After Oswald and Lola, those incoming prove to be boring, boring, and more boring again. So many faces she recognizes, so many unimportant ones. She couldn't care less about what the asylum doctors are up to this evening, for example - they simply don't matter in the grand scheme of things.
Though she can't help but admire a dress or two - Ms. Noble's in particular... Doesn't she have one like that in her closet at the hideout? She'll have to pull it out when she's able to... No, wait, on second thought it would be a bit out of date by now - she'll have to get a new one. Ooh, but updating her wardrobe would be horrifically fun when she gets out! She'll have to rope Selina into helping her. The woman has such good taste! Not that Poison Ivy doesn't have a tremendous amount of that herself, but it's always good to have a second opinion when one is on the fence about a particular item.
As she's pondering this, it seems that the guests are finished arriving - at least all but those who have gone from being fashionably late to embarrassingly late - so she shifts the camera from the entrance to more of an overview of the mingling guests. And what is Eddie up to? If he hasn't gotten himself into trouble yet, it'll only be a matter of time and she doesn't want to miss that! Though she doesn't miss the fact that the young woman who was standing near Selina is now following her - hmm, important or unimportant? She'll watch until she's sure.
