Stormy noticed the flying lady out of the corner of her vision. The flapping of the woman's wings had actually been the first way she picked up on the lady's presence. There was, what seemed to be, a police officer nearby who'd been wounded but was still moving. He obviously didn't need her help.
Stormy managed to scale to a rooftop near and her senses picked up on something. It looked like a child, but it was not. She thought it was a little strange. She moved close to it, bounding from rooftop to rooftop. She had to make one more giant leap across the street to get close enough to it to take a better look.
She flew over the street, looking at all the chaos below for a moment. Instead of landing on her feet she landed by hitting her chest hard onto the stone ledge, her arms over it. She pulled herself the rest of the way over, rolling onto her back to catch her breath. She turned her head and looked at the doll. She was close enough that she could smell it was not an ordinary doll. She could smell the copper wires, C4, and other materials. Her face was still hidden in the shadow cast by her hood.
She eventually got to her feet and dared not approach the doll at the moment, but she wasn't going to leave it alone either. She was considering her options. She could go ahead and approach it, perhaps find a way to deactivate it, she knew how to do that, but some bombs didn't like being tampered with period. Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb.
Stormy turned back toward the scene and called over to the flying woman and the Police officer.
"THERE'S A BOMB OVER HERE, TOO."
Stormy turned back toward the doll and just stared at it. Without warning she hurtled at it, picked it up as she ran, and threw it at a force and speed no ordinary person was capable of. It flew high enough and far enough that if it detonated it would not hurt anyone else between it an the bay. If it had a delayed detonation then it would detonate in the water of the harbor, as she intended.
Otherwise it would simply blow up in her hand. If that was the case, her reflexes would allow her to react and hug it to her body, ultimately muffling the blast.

It's never a good thing to leave on a motorcycle in the middle of winter. The snow and icy air scratching against the skin of your face and if you're not too careful racing down the snowy roads of the streets, the cycle can lose its footing and slip. Then you're really in trouble. But Batgirl still has to drive it like this to get to the area she is needed most. The Batcomputer was beeping like crazy when the explosion appeared, and with the red-headed vigilante having a police radio up in her room, she knows exactly what has happened. Honestly, she was going to head up to the office building once the GCP got finished up with the crime scene, but what was heard and said on the radio, Batgirl was needed now.
A few miles away from the scene, Batgirl could see the fiery red-orange glare that was blazing on the horizon. It was like a red giant star turned supernova, and a powerful one at that.
Pushing against the brakes and skidding the cycle to a halt, the female bat took her helmet off, the locks of red hair that was not restrained by the cowl positioning back into place. Strategically analyzing the scene before her, the female vigilante notices that the main source of the fire originated from the Fun Times office building and like dominos, the neighboring buildings are catching the flames. She also notices the police cars and officers in front of the building, the cops in a near panic as they try to understand what has happened and also treating the wounded. She even saw the state Detective Bullock was in knowing the man was at the scene when the bomb exploded. He looked battered and bruised but was still standing on his own two feet so that gave the hint that the man was alright, Barbara knows he's been through worse.
Hearing the flapping of wings, Batgirl glanced upward and saw that Hawkgirl was already at the scene saving the injured and trapped. Guess the Thanagarian was in hearing range of the explosion. That was good, it meant that the buildings will evacuate quicker and civilians that are more hard to reach will be saved. As Batgirl was about to rush into the heat of the flames and collapsing rubble, she saw something from the corner of her eyes. Glancing towards the peculiar object, the red-head saw someone unfamiliar to her leap into the fiery site and begin saving people as well. It seemed that the person was helping out so they might be on the side of good, however though, Barbara filed to investigate this person when after focusing first on evacuating civilians.
Batgirl brought her hand up to her cowl and pressed a button, signaling a wireless head piece embedded in the piece of outfit. "This is Batgirl. I'm at the explosion at Fun Times Inc. and it doesn't look good B. About half of the street is engulfed. Hawkgirl is already at the scene and, someone else. Can't see their face. Anyway, I'll get back to you when I'm done. Batgirl out." And with that, Barbara canceled the signal.
Going back on the important task at hand, Batgirl studied the scene to try and calculate any possible entrances into one of the buildings. It was too late for the office building since the explosion practically ripped the establishment apart and would only be a few survivors, which by now would have been evacuated. The building to the right, however, was on the verge of becoming fully engulfed in the spreading fire. Seeing that the female vigilante is able to enter through a door, Batgirl rushed with cape and red locks flowing into the burning establishment.
Now, Batgirl knows that the Fun Times Inc. was attacked by the Joker prior to the explosion and so it was concluded that the Joker planted the bomb. However, with the Joker, there will always be more surprises, and each a lot more destructive....."There's a bomb over here too!" And there was the second surprise.

The second she grasped the doll it went off. The blast was big enough to take out the front of the building a few floors down. The shock wave to an expert was mainly designed to weaken the building that had toppled over as the concentration of the blast bounced off the building it was on and directly impacted the one that had blown up earlier. What few large piece of stone and metal that held it up groaned and snapped bringing rest of the building toppling down to the ground rest of the way. An enormous cloud of dust and debris flew up creating a thick blanket barely hard to see through.

Quickly depositing the rather shaken man in her arms on the ground, Shayera immediately jumps back into the air to go after more. Though she's just exiting the still standing building with an elderly woman in her arms when a shout catches her attention. Looking over, she sees the woman from before as the words hit her. "Oh, hell no..." she breathes, and her first instinct is to fly over there before the woman does something stupid.
Though the time between the announcement and the woman trying the exact wrong thing was only a moment and far too little time for her to more than note to herself that this is going to be really, really bad. And it seems as if that thought hardly has time to come to her that it then becomes so.
Abruptly Shayera finds herself in the pathway of a few bits of debris from collapse she's so very close to, though she manages to shield the woman in her arms with her wings at least. A moment later, she's landing - though the smoke is thick it travels away from the air currents generated by her wings. In fact, before she puts down the woman, she twists her wings in the air to encourage it to move, and once she's seen to it that the woman is safely deposited, she immediately gets to work on the smoke. Her wings can generate quite powerful gusts, though she has to be careful to make sure no people get directly in the way of it.
Banishing the spoke in front of her, she next charges over to the pile of rubble where the building once stood is, quickly lifting a fallen bit of the building's facade off of a man as she passes him and looks for anyone else she can render aid to. Though anyone left alive in that building most likely perished in its final collapse. That doesn't mean that you don't look though.

Stormy had reacted in enough time to hug the bomb. She took the brunt of the explosion. A moment later she fell to the ground, her torso hanging together only by bits and pieces. Through her sheer strength she would have been able to contain at least sixty percent of the blast. The roof took a beating, but the building remained mostly fine. There was just a very nasty charring aroudn her and the remainders of the bomb, which was mostly embedded in her torso now. Her whole body was burnt to a crisp, fingers blown off, everything decimated.
Lucky for Stormy, it was day light out. As she lay there on the roof, gradually, piece by peice, the shrapnel of the bomb began to pop out of what was left. Slowly her tissues began to rebuild themselves, thread by thread, ligament by ligament. Her clothes were nearly non existent, reduced to tattered rags. Her exposed muscles and even her skull slowly began to cover themselves up and rebuild.
As she laid in the sun the speed of her recovery picked up, but it would still take at least twenty minutes to half an hour at this rate.

"What, what?! NO"
Harvey abandoned his phone in attempt to discourage the young woman from going near the bomb she announced the existence of and before he had a chance to say anything more it went up and out. He watched as Shayera attempted to save the young woman, but by the time they made it to pavement, he could see parts of the girl's skull. His heart sank. He saw the kid, she just hugged the bomb, taking it like the worst kind of bullet.
Harvey turned his view back to the other officers working around him.
"TEND THE WOUNDED. THAT'S ALL WE CAN DO RIGHT NOW. PREP FOR EVACS"
Soon Harvey was on the horn, calling up choppers, bomb squads and everything that he could get.
He just shook his head after getting off the radio. Whoever the hell that kid was, Harvey was going to the funeral. For the moment, he just called everyone in. He made it out into the middle of the street and waved to Shayera with his good arm.
"SHAYERA!" he hollered to get her attention. Once he caught it he gave her a look. It was his work face.
"Shayera, when choppers arrive I need you to help them to find open spots to land, for now keep doing what your'e doing. Critically wounded I need over there, the not so bad off I need over that way, alright? Thanks, Shay."
Harvey would have normally been a little more chummy, but now was not the time to be chummy. He gave her a nod and made a 'go' gesture. He just needed to create some order in the wake of chaos and Shayera was one of the only people he had left that could help him with that.

In spite of the chaos that the explosion prompted, Shayera doesn't have a problem picking out someone shouting her name. Her head turns immediately toward him, though she doesn't move. Her hearing is one of her stronger senses, after all, so she doesn't need to completely interrupt what she's doing to go over to him.
And his instructions simply get a quick nod of understanding - no need to take the time to say more. Like Harvey, she knows that it's time to work, not pal around. She's just glad that someone's taking charge of the scene and organizing it - she could do it herself, but she's of better use doing things that utilize the talents that she has and others don't. Locating and extracting the rest of the wounded, especially.
Scanning around herself quickly for any more victims on the ground near her, she doesn't immediately spot anyone so she takes off to check the second building for more. And she spots a man relatively quickly, alive but too injured to move. Scooping him up, she turns around and flies him back to the ground - specifically where Harvey said to deliver the more critically wounded.
That done, she pauses just long enough to locate Harvey and quickly report something she'd spotted while she was in the air. "Looks like our bomb-finding friend has a healing ability - she'll be back in once piece in awhile," she comments with a slight smile. An ability that's not completely unheard of to Shayera, though it's certainly rare enough that it's still a pleasant surprise. Someone sacrificing themselves to take care of a bomb is much less upsetting when they survive it. But, not wanting to waste any more time that she could be spending rescuing people, she takes off again the moment she's finishing delivering that bit of news - rescues get the highest priority until the helicopters can get here.

About twenty minutes later Stormy stood, her clothes tattered, but her body put back together. She looked down at the scene below, plenty of ambulances had arrived. She heard something off in the distance and turned to it. A helicopter neared, circling to find a place to land. Stormy leaped off the building, eventually coming to a landing from the five story drop by digging her nails in the brick to slow her fall.
She took one last look at all of the destruction and then took off. Running back to the cover of the city.
There is nothing more I can do there.
