Tim was curious as to what tonight would be like, but...
"No. No questions." Then he blinked as Selina's words fully processed - not looking to stop crime, but to do it? What, exactly, did Selina have planned? He tilted his head a little, giving her a side-long look, then shrugged. He'd find out soon enough. He did a quick estimate on how long they had until they reached the roof based on the height of the building, the location of Selina's safe- 'lair', and the elevator's speed. Long enough for a quick equipment check, he decided, and counted off the time in his head as he ran through it. Armor in good condition, all his grapples accounted for, emergency jump-line right where he'd left it, collapsed staff secured for quick deployment, full supply of R-shuriken and batarangs - All set.
He grinned up at Selina just before the elevator doors opened, brighter and broader than he was usually wont. His self-discipline was pretty much the only reason he wasn't bouncing on his toes with excitement. He loved being out on the streets, loved flying and loved his job, and tonight seemed just so very promising. Sure, things were probably going to be pretty different with Catwoman than it was with Batman, but that was hardly a bad thing, was it?
"I've never been the one making trouble before. I usually save it for the bad guys. This is gonna be interesting."

She turned to him as he spoke not with a question, but a comment. "Well, maybe I was being a bit too far out there. We're not exactly going to be stealing tonight. But I do want to see your approach to security systems. I know you're usually trying to keep them working, not circumvent them."
She points to a few rooftops, a path between them if you're used to travelling these routes, instead of street level. She's always enjoyed this starting point because of her first move; she walks right off the edge of the roof, a feat that looks nearly insane before the small, nearly invisible ledge hits the balls of her feet.
Whip out, she's already swinging across the empty space to the second rooftop, which is lower, and further away, otherwise she'd just jump it. She doesn't bother to glance behind her as she's already on to the third, and then the subsequent rooftops, pausing to sit on the ledge of the final one, her legs swinging beneath her as she glances out to the night sky. It's be an insult to make sure he's doing ok. After all, he does usually team-up with Batman, so this has to be a piece of cake, no?

Robin hopped off the roof after her, letting himself plummet for about half a story before he fired his line. The wind was a roar in his ears, and he released at the top of his arc, twisting mid-air to see where Catwoman was heading before firing again. It took him a minute or two to get used to the way she moved - so different from Batman - and figure out the best way to tag her the way he did his mentor, but he managed it, settling in just off to her left. He felt a lot like Nightwing as he did, with the way he had to move.
It was kinda cool, even if he wasn't half so flashy.
"I actually break past security systems a lot," Robin admitted, now that they were close enough to actually hear each other. "More than I fix 'em, really. I need to get around them to do my job sometimes - searching for evidence, recovering hostages, getting the drop on bank robbers and museum heists... That kind of thing."
Security systems tended to have redundancies that made shutting it down more difficult than it was worth, particularly if you didn't want it alerting the security company when it down anyway. Much easier just to shut down the bits you needed to.
Well. 'Easier' was maybe something of a relative term.
"I've never done it to steal -" and never would, if he could help it - "and I've never done it just to do it, so this is still going to be pretty novel."
And fun. He hoped he did well, though, and didn't disappoint.

Hearing the discharge behind her, she sighs, wishing she had a few gadgets like Tim had. Then again, there is also a higher probability of things failing. Which is why she keeps it low tech in some areas, and dependable. Less can go wrong.
So as they sit and discuss their next avenue, she takes time to contemplate a few things. Is she ok with having someone follow her? Yes, even if he's taking a more flashy route than she is. That will be a divergent route; she'll need to teach Charlotte to keep closer to the shadows. But as she turns to Tim, she has to nod. "Well, we won't be stealing things tonight, but you're helping me already. I will admit, and apologize in advance- but having a tail, to a degree, is different for me. But there are ways to sidestep setting off the alarms, or altering security. Batman is used to offense. I'm used to avoiding all engagement entirely; so it's a different tact all together." She nods perfunctly before pointing to the next building they were going to enter.
"The Bradbury building not only houses several luxury apartments, but also several high-end luxe shopping establishments.. We're going to be tackling not one, but two apartments, and one of the high-end jewelry stores. Not to take anything, but I want to see how you'd enter. A bit of B&E. Thing is, you can't use your fancy-" she shook her gloved hand at his grappling gun. "...whatever that is. Old school methods. They have security, cameras, guards, and infrared. So this has to be not only stealthy, but awareness."
Not that they would suspect Robin of foul play, but still. This was a risk venture at best, a horrible mishap at the worst. The good thing was that either way, it would be a learning experience for them both.

"Grappling gun," Robin volunteered. "And the only help it'll be giving me in breaking in will be getting me there."
No tricks or gadgets, huh? That was okay; he could do that. He frowned at the building for a long moment, trying to recall exactly how the Bradbury Building was set up. It wasn't like he had detailed blueprints stashed in his head - though that would certainly have been more useful - but a general outline was better than nothing. He looked over at Catwoman, tilting his head curiously.
"Any specific apartments or store you want me to get you into? And which do you want me to get you into first?"

She smiled at his filling in the gaps. She knew what it was called, but she was referring to more than just the gun. "Mhm. No bat-gagetry." Her eyes flicked to the building and then to Tim, now Robin before her.
"I want you to tackle 401, 807, and then the jewelers. The corner one. O'Daniel's. I will be shadowing you, but I want you to go in. Not for me, but for you." She raised a brow, waiting to see if he had any questions, or furthermore, objections to that request. She needed to see how he would work, to get a picture of how she would have to frame things. And that, to a degree, would mean her being hands off.
"Also, there is going to be a time restriction." And then the aftermath. That will, and would be fun for a different reason.
