Hidden away for the time being in the earlier hours in the morning, Zahira Ormarr sat at the desk in her office. It had certainly started with a little more crisp in the air, with the coming winter months, but there was still a couple of sunny days. Today certainly seemed it would be one of them. Just adding to a hopeful perfect exhibition, which would be starting shortly. There was more often than expected, paper work to be done. With artefacts coming and going at varies stages. It was fortunate that she had a close connection to a museum in Egypt, though it would at time only get her so far. So Zahira had certainly trailed through some paper work, a lot through the computer of course.. After most had been taken care of, the key that she had laid upon the desk, had drawn her attention. The curiosity had still consumed her over it. Not knowing who had sent it. Why? Nor even where it was going to lead to. Her father? That was the hope. The hand writing certainly hinted to her teacher back home, but really wasn't going to give her answers… If only she could know what the little symbols were on the key, but she couldn't say she seen them before. This City, she knew the darker places, but certainly didn't know it all by a long shot yet…
Then a knock at her door and one of the museum workers, came to say it would be time. A sweet girl name Amy, that Zahira had least come to be friendly with at work, but certainly hadn't crossed any personal conversations… Came over to hand her a small list of names. Any groups or any people wanting a little more one on one information.. It usually was small to begin with. Zahira usually found it was random, when the exhibition started. Offered free information, of course. They had to pay a small amount to come in. Which would mostly go back into the exhibitions. Zahira certainly wasn't living the rich life and nor did she require it… "Thank-you Amy… I just wish i knew what this was for!"" Zahira politely thanked the young girl, after approaching her desk and taking the list. Zahira placed the key on the desk, after a lasting curious look over it. To which caught Amy's attention. 'Oh, its a storage key… Yeah, the unit is down in the east, near the docks…' Zahira dropped the list on the table, after a quick glance, before her dark eyes looked back to Amy and to the key. Slowly picking it back up. Of course! "Thank-you… I suppose we have an exhibition to open!"" Suddenly Zahira felt at least a little more questions lifted off her shoulders. There was a crumb… With a warm smile, got to her feet. Collecting what she needed for the exhibition. Slipped the key into her coat pocket. Which she hung on a coat rack in her office. Revealing a yellow in colour dress. Wasn't too bright, enough to stand out, which could help. Which was a vast difference to her night look. But, the dress flowed just at or past her knees, Strapless and hugged in at the waist by a colourful belt. As usual she wore sandals, it was just a comfort and it was practical. A couple of bangles graced her wrists, a ring or to on some fingers. Her dark hair was left out, but was styled, with just the hint she had ran her hand through it. Natural in tone make-up to her darker complexion. Lastly, before Zahira followed Amy out the door. She put her badge over her neck, with her name and curator easy spotted.
Making her way down a hall, towards the egyptian section. It wasn't a long walk. Zahira's office was behind it and a little up from there. So she came through from the back of the exhibition. It was one of the largest in America, least regarding Ancient Egypt. It would probably change in size over the months, even years, depending on how the people took to it. Bringing awareness was always a good thing. It did bring elements of danger, but it also aided in protecting them for more centuries to come… It was always amazing to stare at a piece. Even as small as a bowl, a tiny statue that was stared down at maybe centuries go. With the egyptians, almost every thing was important. Every little detail. Walked through the newest addition to the Exhibition, which was maybe a cause of most of the crowd. The new Queen Hetepheres section. The sedan chair, being the upmost priced artefact in the section, with a little velvet rope and glass. It was glorious to the naked eye, made of gold and ebony…. With the last look to make sure everything was ready. In check. Zahira graced through to the entrance. A little stand was positioned to the side of the entrance. Zahira put down the lists and clip board down. It would save her carrying it throughout, but was a good to check back every once in a while if need be. Most of the information was stored in her head.. Zahira was in private far more timid. Even Serpent could be considered timid. When it came to work, it was a natural thing to work a crowd like this.
"Hello and Welcome all too the Egyptian Exhibition… I am Zahira Ormarr. The curator. What we have is an open exhibition, so you will be free to wander through the different rooms and sections set up. The newest and most exciting The Queen Hetepheres I, you will find that as you move through the Old Kingdom section… Some sections and artefacts have audio information, for those who have purchased the controllers, if any other interested, they are still available to purchase… Though for any inquiries or questions, I or any of the staff members inside will be happy to answer your questions… Lastly and certainly not least, have fun. Escape into the ancient world and see them come back to life.""
Zahira addressed the crowd, in a warm and welcoming tone. Offering just a little general information, hinting at a lot more in store once inside. Her hand motioned to the door with a smile as the doors officially opened and the first glimpses of an ancient world was in front of them… There were real artefacts, some replicas of the more fragile that couldn't be shipped. Especially copies of walls from tombs. Columns… But all held the heart of the world… The group of people was vast, although it was a fair amount, given it was the earlier hours in the morning. The crowds usually come bigger during the later hours and around midday. Zahira lingered a little behind the wooden stand. As the people of Gotham and people from other walks of life, entered the exhibition.

The Gotham City Museum of History, a portal to the past, a portal to "treasures" from the past, powerful treasures... Jade made her way down the large hallways adorned with white marble and blue and gold tapestries. This museum was top of the line, of course from Bruce Wayne funding it, it should be. Hmm... a new exhibit... Ancient Egypt. The walls enlarged with hieroglyphics and gold borders, all the bells and whistles to make it look authentic, just like the Egyptians would have done it. A curator was explaining the details of the exhibit and was taking questions, I like asking questions... Jade approached the woman... “Hellooooo.... I'm impressed, you guys have done a great job.” “It's so authentic, was everything shipped from Egypt? Are they legit? Reproductions I bet....” A gold belt that actually looked like a garder adorned with emerald jewels on it caught her eye. “Well isn't that a beauty, did it belong to the queen?”
Of course it belong to the queen, why would it be here. Cheshire knew the whole history of that belt, it was the reason she was here, scoping it out for her plan that would later take place in this very room, soon soon... It had the ability to make the wearer untouchable, but in what way? I need to know more...

Barbara quickly enters the establishment, rubbing her arms through her coat, trying to get circulation back into them. Even though it was a sunny day it was still cold as Mr. Freeze's lair! Maybe not that cold, but still enough to get frostbite. Now it was much warmer here. Because the Library was closed, Barbara decided to visit the Museum of History, there wasn't much of a difference to the two structures. Just that in the Museum there's more walking around and no touching the artifacts. But she needed to get away from her father somehow! The reason: Selina Kyle invited them to some Gala and now her dad wants to take her dress shopping. Not that she doesn't like shopping, just, not with her father beside her.
As Barbara walked into the grand entryway of the Museum, glancing at the different exhibits and priceless artifacts, she wondered what new relics has been placed since the last time she was here. Oh, they have something new over at the Egyptian Exhibit. Having a little interest in ancient history, Barbara took a turn into the Exhibition and became surrounded by the findings in Tombs, Temples, and in the Egyptian sand. And a lot of gold. Of all the relics that constantly get snatched away by criminals, they were mostly rare Egyptian artifacts. Maybe because of the technological and magical properties that the Egyptians bestowed upon the findings, or maybe they were just prone to getting stolen then most periodic artwork.
Whatever the case, Barbara noticed a huge crowed traveling around the exhibit. It seems whatever was added to the area was quite a spectacle to cause such a crowed. Curious as to what is being seen so amazing, Barbara pushed pass and observed the object of desire. It was....just a chair. Didn't even look that awesome in all actuality. By observation, it looked to be made out of gold and ebony, probably was the seat for a royal. Glancing down to look at the Information panel, her suspicions were correct. The Chair belonged to Queen Hetephere I of the fourth dynasty and rumored to have a scarce magical gold belt with emeralds that could make the wearer invincible.
Looking above a tall dark-haired man, she saw what looked like the curator of the exhibit speaking of the artifacts. The woman was of lightest tan skin and elegant long dark hair. She had a sort of classy aura with wearing a yellow dress. This woman must have been quite a high class to running all the Egyptian artifacts. Barbara though, became distracted from the brunette woman. Walking towards it encased in a glass case, was the Belt of Queen Hetephere.

This could never get old. As Zahira lingered at the entrance as the crowds made their way into the slice of the Ancient World. It wasn't always this way with the crowds, but when the one in the lifetime kind of pieces came. Especially of an Ancient royal, it certainly caught interest. It was most wonderful even if they left with just a little more filled with myths… It certainly wasn't long until questions. Curiosity would arise. As some locals, even perhaps out of state people came up to Zahira with enquiries. Soon Zahira left the entrance and lead in toe inside. Possibly to best tells some of the history. The myths. Zahira was gifted in great knowledge, but as she'd usually finish there was a lot that hadn't been discovered. It really was so vast. It was so long ago. So many centuries ago, but with all the treasures left behind. It was in many ways like a rebirth. There high risk of robbery. Vast risks, anywhere and even more so in Egypt, which of course would prevent certain items to come so far out, but what was showcased certainly brought attention. Allowed for protection, Zahira being the curator and protector.
Zahira finished explaining some facts about Tutankhamun to a small group, the Boy King was certainly popular. She was in the process of a top secret item, but would be awhile. The group then wandered off, leaving Zahira alone perhaps a moment, lingered around the Queen Hetepheres section… Soon a young woman approached Zahira, certainly with that youthful glow, least of all Zahira could only guess, but still that curious eye. As Zahira motioned to listen and of course smile lightly in between. "Hello and thank-you, that is such a pleasure to hear… It has only been a short time, it is certainly has taken off, better than anyone, even I could have imagined… It is a pleasure to meet you, I'm sorry I didn't catch your name? I'm Zahira, the curator." Zahira politely greeted and thanked in response. Was it perhaps a little to polite, maybe, not that it wasn't her. This was of course work. Though she was certainly delighted to hear positive responses to pretty much everything around them right now. Most if not all she had some hand in how they got here. So there was certainly some pride in that fact, even if a handful left a little happier, would certainly make it worth it. Though at pause she didn't catch the woman's name, as she politely asked and also introduced herself. To the woman's next question, there was a yes and no answer to that. Here and there. As Zahira's brown eyes looked around the vast space, of course this was only a slice than back at home, but with a half smile… "Most of the items, yes have been shipped from Egypt. As far as them being the original, there are few, but unfortunately not all. In many cases some items are just to fragile to ship, it would really do a disservice, particularly when we would hope to prolong their existence. In which case some of the items you see, are replicas… Of course we do get in a couple of gems…" As detailed and as honest as Zahira could be. Of course there was chances of secrets, but that was most likely a given depending on the item. Even the replicas were valuable, they helped to tell stories and really give a piece of what it was like. Plus, one could say what isn't allowed to be shipped was another reason to visit Egypt. Though was real, Zahira had managed or would continue to manage to bring to Gotham. Many of the artefacts were labelled whether they were real or a replica, but sometimes it didn't matter… With a pause Zahira saw the girl's eyes taken, Zahira was often fascinated by what someone would be taken by. It was usually never quite the same.. Zahira followed in suit as she smiled and mentioned the occasional 'gems', that real deal.
"It did belong to Queen Hetepheres… It has also been called the Belt of Heka." It certainly one of the more magical pieces. Filled with its own myths. Legends. As Zahira answered short, but adding that it was also known as the Belt of Heka, maybe not as well known. As her brown eyes of course glanced over the emeralds, they were a precious jewel to many ancient egyptians, not just the royals, but her eyes glance simply at the markings, the hieroglyphs of Heka. "Heka was of course being the god of Power. Of Magic. You see his hieroglyphs… The pair of serpents with in two arms. He was said to have greatly battled and conquered two serpents. Which of course it has also been said the belt carries great power, an essence of Heka… The emeralds are beautiful." Zahira then explained a little about Heka, not going to deep, though there probably wasn't a lot with what had been found so far on him, but Zahira certainly didn't want to complex. Just keep to the basic, unless more is asked. Pointed out the markings. The serpents, snakes. The arms. Certainly didn't raise a great alarm, Zahira had seen these artefacts. These markings before. Before of course Zahira mentioned of the myths of the belt. Vaguely, some people were drawn to the many powers. Curses of Egypt. She certainly couldn't say she didn't know from experience, but well there was always consequences. Responsibility. As Zahira's eyes flashed of course to emeralds that stood out it seemed to the girl. "Emeralds were certainly a precious and loved stone for the ancient egyptians from the average person to the royals, they believed the stone held special powers. From healing powers. To curing disease and to help with fertility. Which of course in most cases would have made emeralds even more desirable. Some of the oldest emeralds dating back as far as 260 million year come from Egypt… We do also have a couple that come from Cleopatra's mines, it is well known she favoured the gem stone." After Zahira added a little, maybe a little more than a little into detailing about the emeralds. They were a popular highly sought after gem stone. So it certainly wasn't a surprise to find them on Queen Hetepheres belt… "Was there anything else you wanted to know about the belt or any artefact?" Zahira asked kindly, sure she possibly answered a couple questions, but the Ancient Egyptian world was vast. Very vast.

Getting in had been in a pain in the derrier, not walking through the security and metal detectors individually, rather getting past those procedures with a large silver briefcase with a ‘mannequin within.’ That is the task, Arnold Wesker, aka the Ventriloquist had to perform to enter the museum to view the newly founded Ancient Egyptian exhibit. A security guard, who was going through a divorce, had to be bribed with the last of Their remaining funds.
“Gack. Ye should ‘ge the one in here. “
“B—ut—but I wouldn’t fit Mr. Scarface.”
“I’ll make ye fit!”
The conversation between the two of them could be heard if one was listening in closely as the Ventriloquist shuffled into the exhibit with Scarface in the briefcase. The middle aged creature looked around as a large crowd had gathered for the opening. Looking around, It marveled at the affluency and decoration of the area. Bruce Wayne had spared no expense. Not that ‘It’ could tell, but the exhibit was an authentic replication of the time period and not something tacky you would find in an amusement park.
“Da jewels in here must be worth a fortune, enough’ to help us get off the ground,” exclaimed Scarface from within the briefcase.
The Ventriloquist had fallen on tough times. Awhile, ago they had been a force in the city, prior to any of the other rogues entering into the playing field, but since the arrival of Poison Ivy, the Riddler, Scarecrow, and the Penguin, the Ventriloquist had fallen down the ranks in the criminal pyramid. With barely a thousand dollars in hard currency in Their possession, the Ventriloquist and Scarface needed a big score to get back into the game.
“Take notes. We have to figure a way to ‘greak in!”
The “Thing” known as Arnold Wesker scanned the room. There were three individuals who managed to take It’s attention. One of the museum curator. A young woman with red-hair. The Ventriloquist automatically recognized her as Comissioner James Gordon’s daughter, Barbara. An interesting find.
The other was an Asian girl who was quiet beautiful and exotic, she was approaching the Museum Curator, a dark skinned woman just on the verge of introducing the exhibit to the crowd. The Asian Woman asked a question, to which the Dark skinned woman answered. The Ventriloquist approached closer to hear the answer. Standing directly behind Cheshire.
“Emeralds were certainly a percious and loved stone for the ancient Egyptians….”
The Ventriloquist listened closely, then after Zahira opened the discussion up for questions.
“How much is the artifact worth?” The Ventriloquist asked with a sharp grin, “Heeeee.”

Examining the artifact, the green gems were glinting with a shine and with further inspection they were actually authentic. That was bad for the relic, precious gem stones like these are probably worth at least with their rarity and the history behind them one point seven to three point four million. That'll bring crooks in like crows to a corn field. Listening in to what the curator was saying, Barbara discovered it belong to Heka, of course. Just bring any relic that has a powerful god's power to a city that has more crime than any city in America. The curator did seemed to love her job and talking about the artifacts with such enthusiasm.
Deciding to ask the woman a few questions, she turned around, however only to froze at a familiar face and voice. "How much is the artifact worth? Heeeee." Oh no.....What is he doing here? It was the Ventriloquist and by the suitcase he was carrying probably was his little demonic puppet in it. Quickly masking her sudden shock, Barbara calmly walked to where she could ask questions and be heard. Letting out a polite cough to grab Zahira's attention, she asked with blankness. "Wasn't Queen Hetepheres connected to Horus? She was nicknamed Follower of Horus." Really, how would a artifact that was connected to Heka belong to someone who was connected to Horus? But that's Archaeology.
It seems Barbara has some staking out tonight. She has to make sure The Ventriloquist does not get the belt, or any other villain. Of course it'll be tonight since only fools and crazies will steal during the day when there's a whole lot of witnesses. The Joker being an example.

Upon closer examination of the curator, Arnold Wesker noticed how exquisite the black woman was. It's smile widened just a bit. Suddenly It felt the presence of someone walking over to them. It was the girl with the fiery red-hair. Was she watching It? Or merely trying to find information about the exhibit herself? The Ventriloquist's paranoia began to kick in.
"What's wrong dummy? Cat got yer tongue?"
The Ventriloquist made a quick examination of the security measures surrounding the artifact. Along with the exhibit, Bruce Wayne had spared very little expense. Cameras, motion detectors, guards, 911-trip alarms, the works. Breaking into the facility might be harder then anticipated. It then began to focus back on the girl in the red-hair. The one It identified as Barbara Gordon, upon entering. The daughter of the commissioner. How much would she be worth in ransom money?
"Heee. Nothing. Oh, nothing," Ventriloquist said aloud. Turning around, It faced Babs Gordon. "Why, I believe she was. Horus, a god with the face of an eagle We believe. This reminds Us of a poem,
Hush, little baby, don't say a word,
Mama's gonna buy you a mockingbird.
And if that mockingbird won't sing,
Mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring.
And if that diamond ring turns brass,
Mama's gonna buy you a looking glass.
And if that looking glass gets broke,
Mama's gonna buy you a billy goat,
And if that billy goat don't pull,
Mama's gonna buy you a cart and bull.
And if that cart and bull turn over,
Mama's gonna buy you a dog named Rover.
And if that dog named Rover won't bark,
Mama's gonna buy you a horse and cart.
And if that horse and cart fall down,
You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town."
Ventriloquist paused, before asking.
"Barbara Gordon, the sweetest little baby. Heeee..."

"How fascinating..." Jade said with a grin. "Zahira! Very exotic... Oh, my name? Why my name is Jade..." Jade said with a wide eyed look trying to act a bit naïve. The exhibit was beginning to fill up with spectators, a young red haired girl approached the curator as well. She seemed like one of those know it all, overachiever types. Asking questions she already knew the answers to... ughhh! But Jade was doing the same exact thing. But it was an all an act to come across as ignorant of the fact of artifacts, to seem clueless and unsuspecting if you will. The girl seems like a legit brain, could be useful...
Jade now rolling her eyes, "Very knowledgeable "red", I'm Jade... nice to meet ya!" Jade the looking towards the belt again. "I just can't get over how beautiful that belt is, it's like 10 kinds of awesome!" Jade now grinning. Then a strange little man with a case, frumpy looking and just a plain out creepy approaches the little group. He seemed like he was paranoid or under the influence, but that could be just how he acted normally, who knows and who are we to judge. I've seen weirder people. Holding on tight to his case he then asked the curator about the emeralds and how much they worth, not about the history but their net worth. Hmm.. this freak is either a millionaire or just a creepy freak criminal, I've got a hunch, I can tell these things about people. By observing a person's facial expression, you can really tell their true intentions. Zahira seemed like a straight laced, serious yet gentle, kind person. Serious in a way she is passionate in her work and would like to see nothing happen to her work. When this heist goes down I will have to watch her closely, she might want to try to "play the hero" as they say.
As for the ginger girl, she seemed like the type that gets her way, maybe a rich daddy, who knows... but a know it all above anything else. Jade then noticed the girl giving the weird freaky guy a dirty look, hmm... she knows him... Whatever... But the one thing Jade knows is when the night time comes she will become the Cheshire and the lovely Belt of Heka will be hers. But for now let's get to know our little friends more shall we...

There certainly was no shock that the belt could create such interest… Perhaps rather interesting individuals, but who was Zahira to really judge. It was Gotham after all. Hmmm. Fascinating! It could be surprising how often the young egyptian heard that and it certainly wasn't in the slightest bit wrong. The history was vast and the shocking thing was they had barely scratched the surface. There were so many faces and stories yet to be uncovered, if of course they were all to be found… Somethings, in Zahira's mind were probably best left a secret. Sometimes the myth was more romantic. The chase as you would put it, was more benefiting than when you reached your goal. "Jade, very nice to meet you!" Simply Zahira extended after the introduction of names and perhaps that gave aid to the attraction of the belt. Of the emeralds most of all. As the pair stood a few feet from the ancient belt. It appeared Jade wasn't the only one with curiosity nor questions. As a pretty young red haired girl approached. Zahira kindly raised her head and direction of eye contact as the question was asked and with her own facts, certainly was someone that did a little research on her history.
Though she wasn't entirely correct, nor was she wrong as Zahira listened to her finish. "You are correct, Queen Hetepheres the first was connected to Horus, one of her titles was Attendant of Horus and also Daughter of the god which began when Huni, her father ruled… It was her grand-daughter Queen Hetepheres the second whom is believed to have been dubbed 'Follower of Horus.'" Informed in kind to the red haired girl, not that it wasn't close as Zahira told her. They were still both connected, but still separate… Of course there would be the question as to why Hetepheres may have a belt connecting to Heka, its of course something that been overly explained. As much as what has been discovered, there was still a lot of unanswered questions and lets face it, some answers may never been given unless you asked direction from the people of the ancient world. What one could do was take in account and assume theories. "It is unknown whether the belt was given to Hetepheres or made for her. One could assume as though Hetepheres was indeed an attendant of Horus, she possibly held some worship to the other deities as it wasn't uncommon for the ancient egyptians… We may never really know as the more interesting thing regarding the belt… Hetepheres tomb wasn't found intact, her body wasn't found. Now there has been debates as to what really took place… Which ever the case, there has been the question as to why the belt was left…" Zahira added and spoke to the red haired and possibly Jade, as they both seemed keen to listen. Sometimes the items with the myths of powers do attract some special attention. Although as Zahira helped to enlighten on reasons why the queen would have been connected to Heka, there certainly was little proof, although the belt in itself certainly was proof of something, but realistically would be that Hetepheres may have promptly followed one god, but didn't mean she didn't look to the other gods, it appeared it was more than common for egyptians to look to most if not all, than simply just one… Of course had Zahira enlighten on the fact Hetepheres tomb was not intact, there were theories as to why the belt would have remained, if of course it had been robbed. Perhaps it was well hidden, perhaps it was left there.
Zahira's attention is there temporarily taken again at a voice. A deeper and more perhaps manly voice. As a, Zahira would like to say elderly in a suit. There certainly something questionable about him, but perhaps it was just a hunch. Certainly not a time nor place to voice that. Panic in such a area would create chaos… Of course as his question is asked. It is decently just. Although not as easily answered. "As it stands now it is priceless." That was an honest way to say it was highly valuable, but it really was hard to put an estimate. Of course perhaps it did, it just wouldn't do much to go voicing that out loud. Now would it. As Zahira politely smiled at Jade's comment on the beauty… "It is beautiful… If it truly was Hetepheres' belt, what ever her reasons. You really can't blame her." Remarked openly, subtly as brown eyes gazed upon the belt, Zahira of course had her own personal reasons to like the belt, but in all questioning. Theories, sometimes just looking with your eyes. As the they were now and they certainly wouldn't be the last, it wasn't hard to totally grasp. If it truly held great power, well even the purest hearts could be tempted. Although oddly it didn't entirely tempt Zahira. Would it really be something she need?

Barbara listened in on as the curator answered her question on the Egyptian queen. It seemed she was mistaken on the queen's title but was close enough, it was that the curator had more abrupt information about her. Speaking of the black-haired woman, Barbara heard that her name was Zahira, that was so totally Egyptian. As Zahira continued speaking about Hetepheres and the belt, Barbara, even though she was keenly listening to the woman, was still keeping an eye on Ventriloquist. Even if he was trying to act civilian, she wasn't fooled that the villain was trying to find ways to steal the belt.
The red-head hears a voice and turns her head to look at the Asian woman that was the first to ask the curator questions about the exhibits and the belt. The woman, her name given as Jade, was apparently mocking her question first by the tone until it turned to delightful enthusiasm. Barbara replied blandly, "Barbara, likewise." Okay...something about this woman is just too fake about her. Jade was too one-dimensional and taking the whole Asian stereotyping way too much. Pretending to take a closer look to the belt but was actually taking a closer look to the Asian girl, Barbara studied her facial expressions. By someone who doesn't know what they're doing, Jade's expression would be filled with excitement and naivete, but to Barbara who was practically raised by a cop now commissioner and whose mentor was the World's Greatest Detective, there were subtle hints of study and analyzing. A sort of study like studying a person's profile.
Being knocked out of her studying the Asian girl, a voice echoing near her, Barbara turned herself to glare at the Ventriloquist, the B+ villain speaking about Horus and then it taking a turn to extremely creepy with the reciting of Hush Little Baby. As he recited it, the wary red-head reached behind her towards the hidden pepper-spray she carries in case she gets in trouble in her civilian clothing. At the end, when Ventriloquist called out her name, she knew she was in trouble but still didn't take out her defense. Instead, she took two steps back, her stance on the defensive and, said with warning, "Back off Creep." If he had a weapon, knowing Ventriloquist, it'll take him forty-five seconds to take it out and for Barbara taking out her pepper-spray, twelve seconds and seven seconds for her to beat him down.

The Ventriloquist took pleasure in seeing the defense nature of Gordon's daughter. Their interaction began to draw some attention from people who were observing the exhibit.
"Not a fan of nursery rhymes?" Wesker asked Barbara in response to being a creep. "We don't bite and will not bite a pretty little thing like you. Heee."
Arnold Wesker noticed that Barbara had her hand on something, most likely a weapon of defensive capabilities. Being the daughter of a high ranking government official, she had probably taken some fighting courses in order to protect herself It assumed. The Ventriloquist had noticed her response the moment Babs approached Them. It was a look of recognition.
Ah'' think the toots knows who we are, ya?
Scarface spoke into Wesker's mind.
"What should we do?"
Nothing for now, heh. May'ge later.
Ventriloquist smiled with a slight nod. Out of Their periphial vision, the Ventriloquist noticed a Asian Woman, the same Asian Woman who was engaged in conversation with Babs and the Curator. Hmm. They recognized her from somewhere.
The Ventriloquist turned to the curator and to the Asian Woman.
"I am feeling very threatened. This young girl has a weapon in her possession in her purse and it is making me uncomfortable. Is there a way the staff can remove her from the museum? There should not be harmful items of any kind within the halls of this beautiful exhibit! Heee."
