The sound of tires screeching to a halt, drown out any conversation that might have been going on within the bunker's entrance. The roar of the motorcycle was cut short as the driver dismounted from the bike. With the kick stand in place, the driver seemed calm at first. That was until Nightwing removed his helmet, and tossing it across the room from where he stood.
"Arsenal!" He voice ring out through the hall soon after the crashing sound of the helmet finally making contact with some equipment.
Not the note anyone really wants to hear from a returning teammate.
Nightwing came storming through the quarters on a mission. This time something he was fired up for since he had came back with great success on his shoulders. But disappointment over the matter. And hatred at the pointless work.
Bursting through the set of doors that led to the rec room, Nightwing had no intention of calming down. The doors force open hard enough to slam into the walls that were there to stop them. The rest of the team seemed relaxed, maybe even chatting to themselves. Supergirl could be seen at the far end looking through a some book, maybe even homework, while his main target was playing around of darts.
As Roy seemed to be in the process of retrieving the darts off the target, Nightwing pulled out a wingding, throwing it to land directly on the bulls-eye of the board as Arsenal is turning away. Just another mark of Nightwing's excellent marksmanship.
"What the hell was that all about? Sending me after some purse snatcher crime," Nightwing roared as he stormed over to Arsenal.
"You just screwed up two weeks worth of tracking and waiting," Nightwing continued. "You think I'm dumb enough to not notice?"
At this point, Nightwing was directly in front of Arsenal.

Not all team business was taken care of doing the late hours of night or even early hours in the morning. Quite often there be something even in the middle of the day. Whether it be a simple lead. That at least had been where Arsenal had led the group. Most of them. Save a couple of members off on maybe personal missions, there was a rotation of sorts to accommodate this to a degree. Such like Starfire was off still lending aid in New York, the titans… Nightwing… Well, not so much personal… Just off to take care of business on the other side of the city. Seemingly small, but of course also with some surrounding level of importance… The day had eventually dragged on into the late afternoon. With a little time to kill before the next regrouping… Whether there was a plan of attack in motion. There certainly cameras and other means to quickly prompt the team… With a City like Gotham, it hardly stays completely quiet.
So with the members that had returned, were chilling out in the cool bunker. Mostly in their own little corners. Arsenal even himself had picked up some darts. Get a little practice, even if he was ultimately on point. Every shot… Even scored the infamous arrow through another arrow. That deserved a little fist motioning in the air. Whilst possibly raising a high five for the kryptonian girl. He had told Nightwing, Outsiders would be strictly work, but there least could be room, for the tiniest of chilling out. Besides that was a legendary move. Dressed up of course in general rad red suit. Quiver and weapons were most likely nearby. In reach, but there really was less chances of the dart board coming back with an attack… Or perhaps Arsenal thought too soon. It was a matter of the 'final countdown' with the grumbling motorbike coming, most likely in through a tunnel… Red gloved hands pulled out a couple more darts, before tossing them in, even really barely looking at the board. Heard his name, but really didn't turn his head… It was expected. Was only a matter of time until something snapped in that bird brain of his… Not completely ignoring the stampede of footsteps. Mostly just retrieving the darts. Before the smooth whistling came past his temple and dove into the dartboard. Arsenal shouldn't be surprised, Nightwing had certainly tossed them around enough times. Though before walking away, Arsenal made a quick turn and pulled the wingding free. Turned it freely in his hand, before he could really move. Nightwing was up in his personal space and not in the mode to hug him, by the tone.
"I sure hope you were aiming for the right target or someones a bit rusty… Thats what we call, over reaching, Supergirl…"
Arsenal firstly remarked. Ignoring the aggressive brute standing in his way and about to blast him in his Bunker. Well, not Arsenal wasn't going to be that all high and mighty. It was really only a matter of time until Nightwing realised. Walked a few more paces what was between them. Twiddling the piece of metal between his fingers. Had motioned to return it, but upon second thoughts, he kept hold of it for now. Arsenal had a decent store of weapons, but he wasn't in the position like he was before. Gotta take what he could… Jesting a little about Nightwing's either good or very poor aim… Commenting to Supergirl, as a helpful tip of what not to do, with a wink. Most like he had offered to show her, even if she probably didn't need it.. Arsenal then walked past Nightwing. Reached for an apple from a bowl on the table. Offered on. Before taking a chunky bite, he heard what Nightwing said, but remained calm… Least for now…
"So, I take it we're skipping over the whole, "Hello! Good to see you again," part of the conversation?"
Arsenal looked up to Nightwing, as he took a seat at the groups table with his apple in hand. Turned it around a little. Taking another bite. On a chair that could spin. Swivelled a little putting the wingding and his darts on the table. Casually also his feet. Making himself a little comfortable. If he really needed to puff out his chest and stand tall, he certainly could if need be. Well, it wasn't exactly like he didn't know what he was doing when he sent Nightwing on the little easter hunt. Chewing away with not much sound, eyes watched. Clearly not a happy bird.
"Well, I can't exactly be in two places at once… I'm gifted at a lot of things… Time travel isn't one of them… I thought you were in this for the work? If your reacting like this, what am I to expect on something more gripping…"
Not that Arsenal was completely fishing around for answers to give Nightwing, it was true. Briefly turning his attention more promptly on Nightwing, rather than his apple. Suggesting he would have done it himself, had he not been needed across the city. In the slightly bigger mission, as leader he was needed. Though a purse snatching crime was still quite important… Turning the tables, mostly just turning Nigthwings words on him. When he had questioned joining to begin with. Keeping work and personal separate. Even though technically they were connected in that too, but that was beside the point. Arsenal was maybe playing out it could have been a test, but he knew Nightwing well enough. That was mostly the reason. He hadn't wanted to be leader, given what had happened and Arsenal could accept that, but he knew even the smallest chances. Nightwing couldn't help himself. Perhaps a little ego on both ends…Though the mission that Arsenal had led, came to mostly dead ends. The very least came to finding empty warehouses, with very little traces. Meaning they must have smelt the trail… So Arsenal certainly could give Nightwing that when he blasted it in his ear… Assuming Nightwing had been trailing this mission more closely, privately beyond the team. As if Arsenal wouldn't know. Gathered Nightwing was trying to take on more than he should. As far as Arsenal saw it, there was a fair chance it his own tailing, but it just as much could have been Nightwing, that tipped them off.
"We did come to a few dead ends… Something or someone tipped them off. Grace is going over the warehouse for anything we missed… I don't know about dumb, maybe slow… If not for you, the woman's purse wouldn't of been saved and I wouldn't have gotten what I needed… I mean yes, anyone could have, but not as good as you… Fine, the princess wanted me to make sure you didn't go over the edge… This was just easier than trying to babysit you."
Arsenal spoke honestly about the dead ends of the mission, eyes momentarily went to Supergirl and rest in the room. It really hadn't gone down as Arsenal had hoped or planed. As his voice rose a little in regarding 'someone' as his eyes gleamed at Nightwing. There was a chance if they found something they missed, but otherwise it was maybe going to take time building again or may have completely jump cities, but there was still a little something up his sleeves. As Arsenal looked to Nightwing, whether he'd realised there had been more too the simple bag grabbing. Why don't heroes ever question there might be something actually valuable in the bag more than your general bag. A little usb drive. Although it wasn't much than a hunch… Although it was something he could have sent another to do it or simply himself. As he almost showed a smile, that he had been the chosen golden boy. Having regained to his feet at this point. Popping out the usb… It was probably not wise on his part to mention Starfire had something to do with this, she certainly didn't say send Nightwing elsewhere. Mostly the general concern over his behaviour and general stress topped. Arsenal was most likely just using it as an excuse, something to get under his skin…

Supergirl had floated her way over to the couch about an hour ago. After a long patrol she had taken up overseas, it had been an uneventful night.
Sure they focused on Gotham, though there was sometimes news of activities overseas that could affect them. Well at least the cargo that came in and out of the city. It was an easy job for someone like Supergirl or Starfire, seeing as they could fly.
Supergirl had been given orders to just observe the situation over in the rumored towns. Though she may have taken a stand or two to turn the tables in some unpleasant situations.
She now sat quietly reading her history book to catch up on her homework. Not that she really wanted to, but she didn't really have much of a choice.
It wasn't until a crashing sound that drew her attention that she looked up from her book. Only to be greeted by the sight of Nightwing thundering toward Arsenal. This would be interesting.
Supergirl peeked over her book for a bit to watch. At Arsenal's teaching comment, she couldn't help, but tried to suppress a giggle. She retreated behind her book once again to avoid any eye contact with the angered Nightwing.
It was sad to say Supergirl was getting used to the bickering by now between the two. Starfire and herself had often gone off and talked over a few of the minor matters of missions. The mistakes and such.
Telling by Arsenal's tone...this might be dragged out. Especially the way Nightwing was wound up. The small smile that had been on her face moments ago, had quickly faded after Nightwing's harsh words toward his teammate....scratch that, leader.

Nightwing ignored Arsenal's snide remark over his aim. At the sound of the giggling coming from across the room, Dick shot a glance across the room. Though Supergirl did nothing wrong beside react to the situation.
He stood still for a moment. Not over shadowing Arsenal's steps at first. Irritated at Arsenal's relaxed reaction over the situation. Brushing it off like it was nothing. More like, brushing him off like he was nothing.
Nightwing glared at Arsenal over the conversation starter that had been missed. The conversation and actions of Arsenal was further irritating Nightwing.
It would seem disrespectful to Nightwing. And he felt like it was. He knew his friend, but he was annoyed at this time. Arsenal would know for one how Nightwing approached disagreements. He had gone toe to toe with his mentor before.
Nightwing followed a bit after Arsenal, keeping his space for now. Trying to keep his head as well. It was hard enough biting his tongue at that point.
"I am here for the work. The problem is the work you just sent me on, wasted time spent on another mission. I can handle this. Don't forget who you are challenging," Nightwing growled at Arsenal.
In fact, Nightwing had gone behind everyone's back with the extra bit of work he had taken up in his free time. Something that might lead to something more personal. That was the problem Nightwing had with the team, they tried to make everything a team effort. And that was the problem with Nightwing, he didn't let others in on his work unless he wanted to.
"I can guarantee it wasn't my work that tipped them off. If you think I'm so slow...it doesn't take a genius to figure out a tracker has been planted on them," Nightwing said. "Don't expect those trackers back seeing as most of them are fried."
Nightwing crossed his arms as he spoke to Arsenal. He had figured out the tracker that was on him that time in the sewer. He pulled out a zip drive that he had collected from his work, throwing it onto the table. It was files he had downloaded from the so called victim's cell phone. "Don't even think I underestimated the mission," he replied in a low growl.
The data he had collected was of no use for his current work. It was more of a use to Arsenal. He had used Nightwing as his personal errand boy.
As Arsenal got up and with the last comment, that ticked Nightwing off further. He got a bit into Arsenal's face again. This time with some distance still between them.
"Babysit?! Where are you guys getting these ideas that I will go over the edge. I've been on my toes the entire time. I've done the work I needed to take care of. And you two are still over analyzing the situation. The problem I have is you taking over work I didn't ask for help on. Let alone how you even found out about it," Nightwing said.
Though he had a possible idea that Arsenal had been talking more with Starfire. Nightwing was not willing to pin anything on Star though. She only cared for him. And after getting her back, he was being protective over his time with her. When they weren't on mission, they were off having their fun.

If Arsenal was seriously going to react at every little over dramatic, school girl tantrum, Dick would throw. Arsenal wouldn't have much time to take care what was more important, even look at his own problems. He had seen these over and over and over again. It took effort to keep up a swing. To keep up with an argument, best left saved. Arsenal was a little more on point kinda guy. Although certainly he had wanted to shut up, Dick many times, usually it would just start Dick up again. So rather than find his off switch. Arsenal could least chill and find amusement in just annoying Dick. He wasn't going to go to great lengths to taunt him. Just a little. He still cared about the poor bastard… Chomping at his apple, whilst feeling the allusive shadow cast over him. Raising a brow… He really was wanting to get into Arsenal's space. Less likely he wanted a kiss and more looking for a fight… From the way his eyes showed fall aggression. Persistence. The way his shoulders hunched. His hands almost shook. Tense! Arsenal thought before taking another bite out of his apple. Rude, maybe. Disrespectful, maybe… Jerk, maybe… Though Arsenal hadn't come to him with such aggressive attitude.
"Nightwing, I'm not challenging you… We've gone down this before… In order for there to be a challenge, there needs to be a challenger… I thought that was Bat's first rule? Which I'm hoping this isn't your way because you can't pick a fight with him, you come to me… Though, I do find it interesting that you say 'wasting time'…. You mean, wasting your time? I get you have your own thing, but we are a team… I asked you to join, so you can work with us, not against us."
Arsenal waved a casual hand in response he wasn't challenging Nightwing. Which he was sure he was from nightwing's place in point. His eyes panned through his mask over the apparent challenger, with his words. Yeah, there was a small dark joke. Wasn't like every wrestling match, Nightwing only won. Usually a draw when someone came tugging at their ears. Boys will be boys. It wasn't like Arsenal wanted to pick a fight with Nightwing. It well, Nightwing usually brought it on himself. Right now it was matter of on being ticked at the other one trying to go behind their backs… Arsenal joked pointedly mentioning Batman. He knew Bruce. He knew the relationship, it reflected in ways against Roy's and Oliver's. That was the whole point of Titans least in the beginning. Coming together as sidekicks and becoming more. The relationship was always rocky, Arsenal knew. Heard the about the fights, even the hits, but one could appose its different fighting with a friend, rather someone thats suppose to be like family. Like Nightwing's mentor, he wasn't looking so much for conversation or talking about what really was bothering him. Wasn't like it was just Arsenal that had Nightwing rubbing the wrong way… Nothing more than few smart remarks, but Arsenal certainly made note to pick up on how he stated it wasted time… His time, he corrected. Arsenal didn't care to know about personal missions or lives, so long as they didn't cross with team work. This was a mission, that would be best dealt from a group. More chances of succeeding, not that Arsenal didn't think Nightwing was all mighty and awesome. There was more odds in numbers…
"Ok, you didn't tip them off… Lets not point fingers, as it won't change the fact they were tipped off… Oh, those old things… They were just a security blanket. Though I'm curious, how did you fish out the internal device? Starfire thought they were cough drops, bless her tamaranean heart…"
Arsenal holding the apple between his teeth, put both hands up with somewhat of a smirk behind his apple, in response to Nightwing assuring it wasn't him that tipped them off. Whatever it was, it was too late to change it now… Though he certainly would be keeping closer eye on the team. If indeed there could be an inside rat… Though, lets not jump to conclusions… Taking the apple back in his hand, Arsenal smirked a little at Nightwing finding tracking devices. Held back anymore amusement in regarding the fact. Really, he hand't expected them to stay on him as long as they did. Arsenal kinda would have realised when he killed them, being on the other side of the fence so to speak. He in all honestly hadn't checked in on them often, just when… He had too… Chewing on his apple, slowly stopped for a moment with curiosity in regards to the more internal device. In which Arsenal gave him a look and a little flick of his eye brows. Relaxing a little further into the chair and his feet upon the table. Fingers pulled at his suit momentarily to flick of a little bit of apple. Directly his comment to Supergirl, in suggesting Starfire may have helped… Which was most likely a lie, well mostly, Starfire had certainly thought they were when he was showing her around his many devices. When she lent hand in on some tricky technology that was not earthly… Eyes returned sharply catching the object Nightwing threw upon the table just past his shoulder. Oooh, score… Swinging his legs off the table, turning to grab the device.
"That's my man!"
With a little more coolness in his voice, looking over at the drive, turning it over in his hands. Any lead, was a good lead. Arsenal had quickly gotten back to his feet… To not just address Nightwing, but to pop the drive into the system. See what could come to daddy… Only well, a big chunk of black and blue stood before him. More stepped in front of him. With similar height, Arsenal didn't feel small, but he certainly wouldn't hesitate a few fists to the jaw, if this really was gonna go places.
"I'm sorry, have you met you? I don't think anyones debated you put 110% into 'work'…. This isn't Titans, but I'd least thought you'd care… You've made it your personal mission to be completely apathetic, so much so, it could get this team killed… Geez, you think this is about ego? Look at you! Your greatest fear in life, the thing that eats at you… You're terrified of becoming Batman… A cold, detached, emotionless loner. I've got news for you, Bud. That's exactly what you are. You've become the man that raised you!"
Nightwing had always been someone that Arsenal thought had it all together, far more than he ever did. Envious, but even he knew the ways in which the boy wonder worried over things. Usually it wouldn't keeping growing and growing to the extent… It seemed far more now, than ever. Donna's death had caused a wave of change. He felt it. He felt the pain everyday, even he was… Well, trying… Put his apple down on the table. Before his eyes returned more direct at Nightwing. If he was looking for words… Totally assuring the fact Dick got his work done, really hadn't been the problem. After one of the last missions when the team had split. Leaving Nightwing in charge of his half, a team member was injured. Deep down, he knew Nightwing cared, least nightwing believed he did, but he was seemingly far more detached than even he could tell. His voice came not only direct, higher in volume and on a roll. Motioning a hand at Nightwing, pointing out as he listed how he was becoming the very man that raised him. The parts he knew from being his friend, Nightwing didn't want to become, the very parts in which Nightwing had moved away from, to be more. To be his own man… Now, Arsenal mostly just saw the shadow of wings.

At this point in the conflict that was brewing between Nightwing and Arsenal, Supergirl just stayed seated on the couch. Only had paying attention at this point. The fight did not concern her.
That and it was no different then the last one when the two had argued over the movements of the team during a mission. Or was that strategy they were arguing? Supergirl would shrug it off either way. It seemed to be a male dominance issue that most human males possessed.
What those two had to prove was pointless in the long run. Though to Supergirl, she didn't know their histories that well. She knew about Nightwing's up bringing and had met Arsenal's mentor before. Those two seemed to have a lot of traits and mind mentality of their mentors.
Who was she to step in on their arguing? It didn't concern her, and if it did...a pair of broken wrist would resolve the conflict of power in the group. Though they were her friends, she still had a temper.
If those two start something like this on another mission, she just might suggest to Starfire that they leave them off on some island or in the desert and pick them up later after the mission is completed. Seemed logical enough and the work would get done.
Supergirl briefly glanced up to catch Arsenal look her way over the mention of Starfire. She could tell his intent was leading to a possible match with Nightwing.
At this point they weren't bothering her, so they could have their petty fights.

”I am working with you. But to go prying into the cases I picked up outside of the team, does not mean they become the teams problem to handle,” Nightwing replied.
There wasn’t much more for him to do beside stand there with his arms crossed and staring down at Arsenal at that point. His relax demeanor to the role of a leader was a tad different from taking action.
More or less also knowing the lines that exist between team work and the personal responsibilities they took up on their lines of work outside of the team. Just because his files may have come to light or someone somehow managed to collect the information of his computer database system, does not give them the right to take over something he had under control.
When someone took a step like that, of course Nightwing was going to take that as a challenge. Someone stepping in thinking they could do the work better and faster than what he had been doing. And this case went deeper than what any of the team member would know of, let alone understand.
Gotham held many dark secrets and Nightwing knew a lot of them. And some he could only protect his friends from. And this case liked into a few things that would best be kept from those outside of the bat-families networks.
”Try it again without my permission and you won’t like the results,” Nightwing grumbled.
More of an open ended threat. There were only so many things he could do to get back at his friend for trying to track him. And communication was something they needed within the team.
Nightwing just glared in response to Arsenal’s praise. For all he knew, Nightwing could had coded the information and kept a lot of the detail for his data files. There was a lot Nightwing knew how to do with computer systems. He was one of the techies on the team when it came to gear and equipment.
Then again, he may have just left it alone since it is of no use to him.
”I fail to see how being apathetic and ego would fit in to this. Or rather over the safety of the team. I make it my job to work with the team. Give the information that is needed for the missions and no more, no less. What I do on my own time and missions, is my work alone. If I wanted help, I would have asked for it,” he responded at first.
”Here’s a reminder for ya,” Nightwing growled. Grabbing Arsenal arm and twisting it behind his back, he then pinned him to the table. ”I’m nothing like him.
He held him there for a moment or so, only to release the pressure. He wasn’t trying to hurt him at that time, but it was more of a warning that he was on thin ice on this issue. A poor choice on his part.

There was the last few gentle spins from Arsenal upon the chair. Relaxed. Infamous apple. The glare from the black and blue. Yeah, it was easy to tell what flickered in his mind. His little dot points, Arsenal was sure he had been making. Arsenal was who brought this all together, but did Nightwing really see Arsenal as leader? He might as well tried with his efforts take over the reins, even if he had realised it… When the chips were down, Arsenal would take action… Right now, this was just the continuing spinning cycle.
"Who said anything about prying? Just because you stumble upon a mission, doesn't ultimately make it yours."
Arsenal stated with a knowing brow. Not exactly about to dig into details, but hey. He said what needed to be said. Whether or not lies were weaved through or not. Besides, Arsenal could see how his words. Even maybe his actions was hitting Nightwing's nerves. He had almost come to question if he had any… Oh, yep. There's that frown line. Arsenal smiled, really wasn't about to go away by the looks.
"If you really feel I followed your every step, out of my own enjoyment… Then you don't know me as well as you think."
Arsenal overlooked at the grumbling words of Nightwing. Because tracking him wasn't exactly something just for enjoyment. Maybe it started out as initial help to save his girlfriend… It just grew to a little more. Not about to openly express he loved the guy or come out singing sweet melodies, but it wasn't like Arsenal didn't care. Wasn't like going up, saying hey What's been up? Hadn't really come with answers or Nightwing doing a lot of opening up. They were't that type, but geez. At least a little something. He knew had come into places where he was probably over stepping, living with Starfire. With all his own list of problems… Arsenal was just returning a little of the snub treatment… With what Arsenal needed in his hand and back to his red feet. Before pointedly stopping with the large lump of black and blue in his way… Before railing of in his sharp… Well, least he had felt rather pointed in truth.
"That would fall in the whelm of being detached, Moron… Maybe I was wrong to spin the lie to you, that this was just work…. It is, it isn't family, but I thought you'd actually come to give a damn about these people… The last mission I gave you, resulted in one of us ending up in the hospital. It was maybe not your intention, but you pushed her… "
Arsenal's head fell into his head momentarily as he pointed out Nightwing's words, just summoned up what he had said, but not like anything Arsenal was going to say was gonna get through. Without Nightwing trying to swing it all back. The fact Nightwing had his own mission wasn't the main reason, that was merely maybe an excuse. Though there was a level in which Arsenal believed he did have help, but it was overshadowing what was actually the issue. Least the issue for Arsenal. All the little things that added to just stirring this large pot. He believe Nightwing couldn't see it, didn't intentionally, but it wasn't just from Arsenal had saw. The team, Arsenal wasn't innocent in these either. Especially with his addiction and depression. Coming late or even skipping missions, Because he was half drunk. He had certainly been in a more straight walk now… As Nightwing stepped in. Arsenal stepped back bringing up the last mission which in result left one of the members in the hospital. Arsenal had been at the hospital. He had overheard what her father had said. He wasn't far off. Nightwing was so far over work. To get the job and protect the mission. He was failing to protect the members. Especially ones more vulnerable. Needed guidance. Not all Outsiders were superiors as Arsenal and Nightwing. Even Starfire upon occasion. They were maybe not teens, but they were outsiders… Just as Arsenal pointed the finger. He had to give it to Nightwing, to finally taking it a step further and opening it up. With the force and twist of his arm behind his back… Being shoved against the table. With a deep gush of air escaping him. There was little struggle at first, but his temper could only be tested so long.
"You could have fooled me, tool!"
Arsenal responded through the grit of his teeth. Nightwing was trained well. He had a great level of strength. Arsenal wasn't without some level or tricks up his sleeves. Pushing back into Nightwing with some level of quick use of his feet. A little speed to counter. Some wailing elbow shots to the head from the more arm that was free. Hopefully to put the blue bird into a little daze. As soon as space from the table and the grip a little loosened. Arsenal whilst still having his back faced, lifted his left leg with great force between Nightwing's legs. On target. If that all went well and Arsenal breaking from Nightwing's hold. He motioned to Nightwing's head to hit with a blow from his knee and elbow drop to the back of his head. When the fight was picked. Arsenal could truly fight, if this is what Nightwing was in for.

As the words few harsher, Supergirl's attention started to wander. She couldn't just up and leave. What if they tried to kill each other?
Or she could and just let the two settle it there way. There was always the chance of others in the room becoming involved in a fight as well. And right now, Supergirl did not want that.
The best she could do was get back to her studies and try to focus. She had an exam she needed to study for and she couldn't just do thinks the easy way. Kal had always told her to try and play it fair with the humans, which mostly meant, don't always use your powers for everything.
It was hard for Supergirl not to, especially since she hated feeling helpless. Though with school work it sometime was actually enjoyable reading these human books on history. Or to laugh at how far behind they were in technology.
At this point, she'd look up every once in a while at the harsh tones of voice. It wasn't until Nightiwng actually grabbed Arsenal and slammed him into the table, that Supergirl knew this was not her match or problem. And she tried to bury herself in her book more to focus.

"Oh, really. I know it's not just out of enjoyment. You wouldn't be able to stay patient enough to follow the pattern," Nightwing replied.
This song and dance was getting rather old. The bickering between them, only supporting their cases, not the main points. That was usually how it was between their feuds.
Nightwing's pushing seemed to of course be egging Arsenal on for all this. Bring up the past and never letting it lay dormant. At least not between these two. Any thing was fair game in their fights. Anything current or from the past.
"Hey, I'm just keeping my personal work out of the work with the team. We agreed to such terms. And if you see me taking up extra cases, that is personal work, not work I'm trying to pull from behind everyone else's backs," Nightwing commented. "It wasn't my intention for her to get hurt and you know that!"
This was more like a war of a thousand daggers. Both knew so much about the other that this could go on for hours. Something Nightwing wasn't going to waste his time in it came down to being ignored.
"Maybe you need to shut your mouth and open your eyes to what is going," Nightwing replied as he held Arsenal to the table.
He didn't let up his grip as Arsenal tried to push off the table. Nightwing stood steadfast, not moving an inch and hardly a muscle over the movement. It wasn't until Arsenal started to take a few jars with his elbow at his face. Several making contact.
Enough so to offset him and his grip as Arsenal had pushed off and gotten a more direct hit to back him off. Though he still kept a hold of Arsenal's arm behind his back.
The next attack caught him way off guard though and he didn't have time to react. Arsenal had pulled the dirties trick in the book. Literally hitting him below the belt. With a loud groan of pain, Nightwing lost his grip on Arsenal's arm and started to bend and curl in pain over that one.
As soon as this had taken place, Arsenal had turned suddenly to bring his knee to Nightwing's face, the to follow through with an elbow to the back of his head. Nightwing collapsed to almost all fours on the ground, but one hand was still over his injured parts.
"You call that a kick. You can't win a fight without playing it dirty," Nightwing replied between breaths. Boy he was really feeling that one though, but would never admit to it.
As he hardly looked up at Arsenal. He wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of knowing the extent of the blows.
While he spoke with the hand not rested on the floor, he secretly reached for a zip line from one of his gantlets. Bringing himself down to both elbows now, he fired off the line at the chair nearest to Arsenal.
"Two can play at that game," he said as he used both hands to pull the line to jerk the chair toward Arsenal. Giving him the chance to roll away a bit from Arsenal.
He'd get to his feet, still a bit weak from the low blow, he managed to stand.

The enlighten smile regained at Nightwing's words, otherwise known as Dick, or a … But, then Arsenal really wasn't going to go there. Though it was certainly was entertaining to hear Nightwing spin in words of patience… Why the hell were they here? Arsenal's eyes could have easily rolled and fell out of his skull at this point. For someone that Arsenal, sure had respect, but always thought Nightwing had it all together. Never ever fall off a wagon or several as Arsenal, but even though addiction didn't seem to take to Nightwing as it had Arsenal. Certainly something had. Yes, one of those somethings, could be Arsenal himself, but rather he one of many.
"You didn't seem to mind when it was helping you save your girlfriend. It isn't always about you… Patience? Really? So this was all an understatement?"
Arsenal said with not entirely eye contact, but with certainly more serious grit to his tone. Of course he wasn't going to dive into the fact he cared about Nightwing, that would hardly seem manly right now, but that had hardly started out the reason. Whether it was Nightwing's fault or not, his girlfriend was taken. It might seem wise to follow up on patterns, as Nightwing put it so pointedly perfect himself. Certainly questioned and pointing out as Nightwing played the patience game and Arsenal pointing out the so called 'patience' man before him. Least it was less steam bellowing out of his ears. Arsenal had certainly thought something or someone was gonna pop.
"Intentions or not… I cannot ignore reality…"
Arsenal wasn't going to keep spinning this cycle, if it was like play to deg ears. Much like the many times someone had tried to help Arsenal kick his addictions, a lot of the time was merely def ears. Didn't want to hear what he knew was true, though Arsenal was sure that there was parts of Nightwing was truly not seeing it. So set on doing his day to day, with little to no real attachment… Maybe it wasn't so much Nightwing's work that needed help, but rather himself. Both professional and personal. There was a separation, there always would be. This was work, but there was a line in which they did and would blend. That was what generally separated them from their superiors, but more and more Dick was just becoming more like Bruce. Starfire when she was here, certainly livened him up, but hardly seemed blissfully enough.
"Talking is sort of what I do, but I can also kick your teeth down your throat!"
Words were certainly a strong suit, Arsenal certainly had plenty in his back pocket and certainly not running out of them, but they certainly could lend him into trouble. Generally trouble he could weasel himself out of, but then occasional he'd hit a snag. Usually with Nightwing to help bail him out, or more to tell when to shut it. Which could be now, but partially Arsenal knew some had certainly ticked under his funny bone. After coming in, with demand and chaos. Arsenal certainly could dish it back. Someone had to and whilst he had the art of words. Arsenal was well, he could certainly kick Nightwing's butt. Or more pointedly kick his teeth out. With the tighten grip behind and locked in. Really what Nightwing would gain, in trying to suggest he could subdue Arsenal. There was certainly no time wasted. In attempts Arsenal made for the loosening grip and his heel came at a blow between Nightwing's legs. There was all the chances it would get blocked, but Arsenal instincts were right. Hey, well sometimes you had to play a little dirty… After bringing a tough knee to the face and an elbow to Nightwing's head. Arsenal could almost dust his hands off in victory, but if he was seriously anything like Bruce nowadays. He wouldn't know when to lay down. Nightwing needed to finish this, he was after all the one that started this. Though Arsenal may not exactly just let him take the win. A red gloved hand came now at his freed elbow, not greatly injured by it, but flexed any stiffness out of it. With a mild smirk upon the collapsed bird on the bunkers floor. There certainly wasn't a lot of joy in taking a friend down a few pegs, but hey…
There was the unexpected twist, well he certainly expected something, but Arsenal certainly didn't see the zip line work coming. Not until it flung towards one of the chairs at the table closely behind him and in pulling it. The chair came almost at a catapult at Arsenal's legs and lower back. Wiping him out pretty much. Taking him off his feet until the hard hit of the back of his head to the tough floor below. His hands came to his head at the pain, no broken bones, but he was sure he'd feel the impact across his body tomorrow, if not more if this was merely the beginning of the fight. Arsenal ached groans at the pain. Clenching his eyes, whilst trying to blink back to clarity. Was sure Nightwing wouldn't simply stop here. Rolling his side, to gain back to his knees and hopefully to his feet, looked through his heavy eyes. In retaliation with his own zip line, pulled the chair out of the way and threw it unknowingly towards Supergirl's direction.
"Then you better buckle up!"
Arsenal shouted through his teeth in response to the game. Although at this point it might be more heading to war. As Arsenal would manage back to some footing. Leaped between the distance and leaped to potentially knock back Nightwing. To truly start the rough-house. With plenty of punches and kicks just waiting to unleash.

Supergirl tried in a way to hide behind her book. Trying to the hardest to ignore the two guys...wait, better to say boy, were starting up a war.
This was getting a bit ridiculous. She sank down a bit to reach for her book bag. She was fortunate enough to still have a cell phone on her at the time. Ok, ok, it wasn't the ideal communicator for the team, but it would have to do for now.
Grabbing it, then looking at the contacts list, she was able to find Starfire's personal number. With on tap to the screen of the phone, she was able to get a connection to Starfire.
While the boys were still rough housing in the background she was able to get a hold of her.
"Hey Star, you might want to get over here. We have a bit of a problem with the guys. Either a battle of the egos or just a male dominance issue. Whatever it is, you better get over here soon. I have a feeling there won't be much of either of them left for any missions or patrols if they keep it up," Supergirl reported to Starfire.
She didn't give her much time before she hung up to keep them from hearing what she had done. Call it, calling in the reinforcement.
Supergirl hung back a while longer. The battle raging on between the guys. And then it escalated when Arsenal threw the first low blow. And from there Nighttwing played a dirty trick by pulling a chair to him.
Supergirl caught part of it as the tried to stay back from the mess, cringing at the sight of Arsenal's fall. She was always taught to not pick a fight unless it was yours to fight in. And this was not her's. Those two wouldn't kill each other. Hurt each other, maybe. But they needed to work it out for themselves.
The fight went on a bit longer before a chair was being thrown in Supergirl's direction. It was then that she used her heat ray vision to destroy the chair to protect herself. Not that it would cause any damage, it was just her first instinct.
Ok, this was really getting annoying now. And Starfire was taking too long to get there. She was getting tired of the back and forth fighting. The two who were suppose to be leading the team were acting like children. Though both of them had valid points. Just two different views.
"That's it," Supergirl had said after destroying the chair and she fly over to the two of them. Faster than the flash she had moved in front of the two.
She grabbed the two of them by one wrist each and held them off the group as she floated. "Give me one good reason I should just break each of your wrists to end this fight," Supergirl grumbled at the two of them. "At least I'd be speeding up the fight a bit."
It was a threat, but something she wasn't afraid to follow through with unlike her cousin. Ok, a bold move standing up and threatening the leaders. Maybe going a bit too far on the threat, but at least it would get her point through.

The tamaranean princess, Starfire. Was out of the city and in another. New York City. Pretty much shoulder to shoulder with the current Teen Titans and even upon occasion literally bumped a shoulder here or two during the training session with the new recruits. Certainly passing the 'newbie' stage. Kon-el maybe gave her a run for her money, well almost. He was quick, but Starfire still had her wits about her. Starfire was after all a commander in the depths of space… After the many spins in the space simulator Cyborg had created, the gang ended back in the living quarters of Titans tower. It certainly breathed that breath of home, especially for Starfire, but it was certainly becoming a home for all the recruits. There was little need to ask it, Starfire could simply see it. especially after going through it some years ago. More than teamwork. This was family. As Starfire had comfortably sat upon the large sofa braiding Wondergirl's golden hair. Whilst others took to game playing or some sort of devouring of foods. Least those in the room. The tower was indeed filled with more than you average household, maybe even most building in the city. Either way, it certainly was a hot spot for the otherwise quirky teens and sometimes just the quirky… Starfire's golden fingers ceased momentarily at her master piece of a braid, as the familiar ringtone enabled; by a rather famine voice to some current tune on the radio that Speedy had happily encouraged. Starfire was hip after all.
Naturally answered the phone, which had blinked the 'codename' for Supergirl. Otherwise known as Kara, so it was better left as K. The mystery K, that a certain green pup had quizzed her about, but Starfire didn't reveal anything she was sure she shouldn't. Giving beastie a smile and a scratch under the chin. There wasn't much given space for even a 'Greetings', as quickly as Starfire answered the phone. Supergirl's voice gave her the rundown or otherwise by the sound the '911'. Held the phone against her shoulder with her ear, whilst continued with the braid work. Randomly nodding in response as Supergirl spoke on. This seemed ironic whilst Starfire was amongst the heroes of tomorrow. Supergirl was amongst children. Typical, as Starfire could only shake her head knowingly. Even the echo of chuckles from Beastie and Vic. The other end of the phone ended. Hung up, but Starfire was certainly alarmed. Soon finished braiding Wondergirl's hair… Even though Starfire wasn't entirely sure what had happened or what was happening between said boys, but she certainly had a few ideas.
"Duty calls, apologises… I'll call in soon."
Starfire didn't linger, pulling her purple boots back upon her golden feet and left the sofa. Offering her goodbyes. Least her goodbyes for the time being. They were needing her less and less now, that she could only gather how long it would be, but she certainly savoured the time… Starfire offered the general hugs to her friends and teammates. Some lingering in the hug, with cute remarks, that simply made her giggle. With the last couple of waves. The tamaranean left the tower and took flight from the island. Over the city and over the smaller towns in between. Starfire had certainly picked up speed, but not completely dire. They had fought rough many, many times, but she had to question if they'd actually take it steps further. Wouldn't that be going over everything they had told her she couldn't do. What she restrained from… Then maybe humans didn't always listen to their own words, but Starfire certainly hoped there wasn't any serious damage… No time was wasted once Starfire had reached Gotham and the particularly the Docklands… Gave up the secret passwords and scanning system, which was questionable, but access was swiftly granted. Starfire passed through the doors, it would seem just in time. Her familiar golden body dressed up in her purple gear. Red hair tousled down in red curls, whilst her bright green eyes were abruptly on target or targets. She would assume this wasn't just about business, then it could have easily started over someone burning toast. Frown came with flying chair fragments.
"Hi boys, you look terrible… I don't know if that would help, or make them all but a little useless… You can bet they'd try, Supergirl… Do we need a little time out? I'm sure we can find rope if that would be easier."
Starfire extended the welcoming, it certainly wasn't cold, but it could have been on point in her tone. With her hands momentarily at her hips. A defiantly warmed nod to Supergirl. As Starfire made the move between the space, offering words to halt Supergirl from her threat. The boys after all were human and they tended to do a lot with their hands, mindfully Starfire said little not to spark up another fight, but she also knew that wouldn't stop them. Not with such prides and egos. Starfire motioned to counter the weight, not that they were heavy for the girls, but Starfire certainly felt more ease taking a grasp of Nightwing. Putting his feet back on the ground, though kept her golden hand firmly at his chest intending to keep him back. With eyes and frown on him. They were really just as bad as each other, but for such caring individuals, they seriously couldn't growing legs or other limbs. Suggested openly a 'time out'… With of course an added bonus of rope. As her eyes looked between the boys and to Supergirl… Whether or not they could be civil and talk without, but otherwise binding them to chairs could work… Well, maybe not entirely up and leave them. Starfire could only imagine who's get out first and no doubt it would just add to the competition…

"That was a time when I needed back up. I'll admit there are points when help is needed, but this last mission has nothing to do with anyone here," Nightwing said.
The mission he was talking about was treading on personal levels for him. Something he did not want his friends or teammates getting involved in. This was the secretive side to Nightwing that seemed to cause the most problems and misunderstanding between him and others. Especially Arsenal.
"There is plenty more I know compared to you on how to take someone down," Nightwing replied.
He was trained in many different art forms and that was no lie. Even Arsenal would know this. Considering his studies and his age, he had years of training.
The low blow took a bit out of Nightwing, though he had his ways of getting back at Arsenal for that one. The chair trick was just the first of them if he wanted to keep it up.
And it seemed at first, Arsenal was willing to keep up the tricks. Though when the chair was sent in another direction, it could be taken otherwise. Maybe landing on his head knocked his aim off focus.
Nightwing didn't wait for Arsenal to make the next move. He got back to his feet. When Arsenal did step it up and leap at him, Nightwing stepped forward and blocked any on coming hits.
Soon in returned several swings and hooks at Arsenal in return. A few chances at taking kick shots at him as well. The soreness still there and nothing he could do about it.
It wasn't until it was too late that they would both be struck by Supergirl. Her grip on his wrist was sure enough to believe her threat of breaking a bone or two. But she was out of line. At least that was how Nightwing saw it at the moment.
"Stand down Supergirl, this isn't your place to step in," Nightwing said. He said it in an even tone. No anger towards her, just words of a leader. The leader that knew better than to step into someone else's battles.
Supergirl held them off the ground. And it made it difficult to fight against her and her grip. To fight her would be a ticket to the hospital with her anger against them. But her doing so could and would lead for dismissal from the team. Or at least a suspension on her membership.
No sooner after Supergirl had taken them on, Starfire had stepped into the place. And she was right in foot with Supergirl on taking this fight down a notch. Nightwing just looked at Arsenal through narrowed eyes. Almost if looks could kill type of look at the moment.
When Starfire set him to the ground, he was ready to move right back into striking Arsenal, but Starfire hand on his chest held him back. His narrowed eyes found her's and he just turned away. His anger had boiled to a dangerous level.
He said nothing to her at first or any of the others at the moment. Waiting for Arsenal to make a move. "This has nothing to do with you," Nightwing said. This could be aimed at both Supergirl and Starfire.
They wouldn't understand the line of his mission he had been working on. Arsenal hadn't seemed to notice what so ever with what he had done. Nightwing was feeling attacked on all levels. He had taken something up on his own and now others were trying to get involved.
And in truth, it had nothing to do with the team what so ever. Only Nightwing. This was something he had taken on alone and only he could handle it. But it seemed everyone was more than eager to step in on his part and they knew nothing of the risks or work he had been doing.

Did Arsenal really truly care that Nightwing had his own little missions? Seemed that was the question. This was seemingly avoiding the point Arsenal was making, but then it was after all Nightwing who had stormed in here. Marking his territory… Really, he thought Arsenal wouldn't bite back…. Potentially a little deeper. Although until Nightwing made that first move, he was all, but calm. Steady like a stream.
"Really, you called dibs? Well, I guess we might as well hang our capes up, Supergirl… Sounds, Nightwing has called dibs on saving the planet… Here I thought we were fighting for a free country, a free world… Tell me do we not want the same things anymore?"
You can take that down a little to select hearing or potentially very good hearing. As Arsenal nitpicked Nightwing claiming the Mission had nothing to do with them. Sure personally perhaps not, but who really says dibs if you stumble upon the same mission. At this rate Arsenal was digging at Nightwing, in a ways Nightwing knew Arsenal was right, even if he was avoiding the rest. As Arsenal stepped back more in Nightwing's face, before expressing in jest too Supergirl, even if he lacked a physical cape. Before pressing it was a 'free country' a 'free world'! Were they not at the end of the day Outsiders, heroes wanting the same thing? Arsenal certainly didn't have the background as leader as Nightwing and there was fucking way, Arsenal didn't respect him. Perhaps Starfire was right, but Arsenal wouldn't admit, he needed Nightwing on his side more than his pride could punch it out of him. So naturally his pride is gonna be challenged when Nightwing walks in here, questioning him at all as a leader. Or better yet, start barking claim even if Nightwing didn't notice he was doing it.
"Take someone down? Perhaps if this was the roller disco… I'm a little less PG!"
Arsenal mocked Nightwing's words, though there was the gleam in his eyes through his mask and he could see it straight through Nightwing's. They knew each other very… Very well. Knocking each other down should really be expected, just as much as sizing each other up. Began with maybe arm wrestling as kids, it was almost fist cuffs now days… Poof of Arsenal's dangerous side was certainly a square hint between his legs. Did he really for get Arsenal meant something? So, Nightwing was little boy wonder for the winged bat… He seemed to forget momentarily they were both sidekicks, that kicked down their own doors together… Now had resorted to chairs? Even if Arsenal flung it away, this was a more hands on wanting kind of fight. It hadn't entirely built on just this day… It had certainly been coming both publicly and privately… A smirked played at his lips as Arsenal came to, Nightwing was on his feet. It was game time now. Pushing from his feet and leapt. Arsenal would have been disappointed had Nightwing not counted with a move. What was use to winning a battle half fought? As Arsenal leapt to literally take Nightwing down, he was met with the firm counter of a summersault from Nightwing. Pushing him off firmly by his feet to Arsenal's gut. Flinging Arsenal in mid air, only to roll with speed back to his feet. As Nightwing's kick came at a head. Arsenal caught it in the face. Spitting out blood, but didn't stumble so much off his feet, that Arsenal didn't return with a hopeful favouring upper cut to Nightwing's otherwise perfect jawbone. What ever Nightwing did next, Arsenal caught square at his nose and his it hard. It was really not time now to stop to check if it was indeed broken as the blood began to come. Running down and splattering against Arsenal's cheeks, masks and running down his lips, as the hits didn't show down. Just as Arsenal aimed to grab at Nightwing's throat and he would have felt the red glove that little bit firm. As Arsenal raised back his other to fist to really aim hard. He felt the shear pressure. The restraint at his wrist and even before he could look. His feet were certainly not anywhere near the ground and pulled away from Nightwing…
"Hey… What the….? SUPERGIRL!!"
Once Arsenal realised before he potentially could have cussed down a storm, he gulped down his words and potentially a little of his pride. As his eyes widen… This girl was tiny. Could fool you that she was a cheerleader on you doorstep seeking girl scout cookies or potentially a new cheer, before realising she was barely legally. She was not completely innocent… She was dangerous. She was tougher than she looked, something Arsenal should know a thing or two by now. Before he could make it up to Supergirl, her tiny hand was tightening around his wrist. His bones. Crushing his pulling back and release arm. With out it, all he could really do was aim. Arsenal winched at the pain, attempt to find, twist to find comfort, without moving so much to make this entirely worse. If he struggled she might just ripped his arm off and that was just not good for anybody.
"That is no way to speak to a lady, Nighwing… Now, Supergirl I'm sure we could work this out, if you'd be so kind… I'll do your homework for a week!!! Tutor! Please! Come on! I thought we were like niche?"
Arsenal could almost roll his eyes at Nightwing, as blood trickled down his chin, he'd kick him in the shins if he could reach. Like threatening Supergirl was really a smooth move nor barking orders when he was hardly in position. Arsenal grinned a smile to Supergirl as he asked with more becoming tone in hopes for his freedom without broken bones. Paused with a charming smile. As his eyes almost looked doe eyed to here, before his eyes wandered for clues… Ah, school! Maybe a little bribery. Offering to do her homework, though there was great possibility he'd not even get the first question right. Tutor. Anything, before Arsenal expressed with his hand. That they had become buds, though purposely chose as Supergirl had mentioned sometime earlier. Arsenal was seriously hopeless if he could least get a rise… The hellfire came! Well, almost. Though of course Starfire would be selective and select Nightwing to put back on the ground… Though Arsenal did feel a great deal of relief once he did feel the ground again. Not to mention his wrist, which he was to happy to kiss. Before he shook back any lacking circulation. His eyes trailed as Nightwing was held at bay. Arsenal was certainly ready, though he was always calmer as he attempted to wipe any of the blood on his tatted arm. Though it was certainly one thing to come in here, challenging Arsenal, but to talk back at either Supergirl or Starfire for that matter. Neither one of them deserved it. Arsenal pushed through enough, though with Starfire in between it held back anymore, but Arsenal pushed enough to push his hands on Dick to properly back him up.
"Don't talk to her like that… This is all about you… Seriously, I think you made that pretty fucking clear when you got here… God, your head is so fucking detached… You said open my eyes… Was that it? Huh? I'm sorry Princess, he needs to know… As much as I would maybe like to rip his head off, he deserves to know… Then maybe you wouldn't have to resort to baring the loss of a life alone… And I'm not talking about Troy!"
Arsenal could almost spit in his face, as the anger was easily brought back and it was out. Sometimes Arsenal said the harsh harsh and a lot of it was true. Even he at times wouldn't realise the regret of things he said until after it, but in the heart of it all. He did care. Truly cared and whilst this was playing around in circles, trying to fit work and just brush personal. Arsenal couldn't keep the secret. Seem good of a time as any. Nightwing really thought Arsenal sent him off just because of missions. Looking him in his eyes everyday, knowing this, after everything… Frustration fell out of his voice, deep, hurt. He had all the pains and scars, he had fallen… After they picked him up, could he seriously let them fall. As Arsenal repeated Nightwing's words, that he had asked him to open his eyes… As his voice sincerely apologised through the grit of his teeth and shook his head. Even with the gesture of his hand that part of him certainly wouldn't mind continuing this fight, but deep down in all of Nightwing's fault. Certainly far from being a saint right now in Arsenal's eyes, but he deserved to know. Knowing Nightwing fall well, had the roles been reverse, he'd know Arsenal would want too know… At the very least get it started, but Arsenal was sure with the tone of his voice, it be enough to stop Nightwing in his tracks, as Arsenal's eyes went to Starfire referring to what she was baring alone. Perhaps his words didn't spell them out, he left that for Starfire. But his voice lowered enough as he mentioned Donna. As Arsenal's hand motioned to sit and land on Nightwing's shoulder. Supportively more than any sense of fight. Although if someone asked about 'Troy' he'd simply say the fallen city. After all his life had all but fallen with her death.
"You have the chance that I don't.. Don't fuck it up like I know you do… Like I have… Open your heart, before you shatter hers."
Arsenal unless prevented, gripped his hand a little firmer at Nightwing's shoulder. As his eyes looked pointedly at Nightwing's, as Arsenal spoke to what he would assume would hit the right places in Nightwing. In many ways they were a like as they were different. What Nightwing did with the words was up to him. Not that Arsenal was telling him really to do anything exactly, as the relationship was between them and Arsenal had stepped in between on in only fun before. Who was really blinded that Nightwing loved Starfire? What ever it was, he simply meant don't just sit on the edge of the pool, only dipping your toes, you got to go a little deeper sometimes. Arsenal at that stepped back, even if it was risking with Starfire's starbolt only inches, but he doubted she'd really hurt a hair. Wasn't like she didn't want Nightwing to know…!
