You win some. You lose some. As goes the general motto. Just another rounded way of saying give and take. Of simply in this case. What had seemed poor luck or simply bad judgement. As the serpent creature had been pinned against the wall. His limbs tightly around her tiny form in comparison to his own. it had not be so much quick reflexes. More just quick instinct. There had been no set target for the nips. The sharp bites. They were there and everywhere they could plunge into. A couple of misses with his own movements causing the bumps and shakes. In the attempts. Attention averted to the initial instinct. Survival partially. She was unable to stop the attacks from the large bat. As a claw dug deep. That it almost felt like he had torn half her cheek off the bone. As the burning sensation spread. The blood dripped and her sound of the pain. Not quite a mighty scream as mostly was muffled with teeth at his flesh. It wasn't long until the grip around her had disappeared. His own bad judgement.
Who ever knew a snake could fly? Least it was the closet she was probably going to get. More like fell, but in her fall. With the rope in grasp and the beast unaware. it was one step closer to bringing him down… Maybe more than one step. At the initial feel of his falling towards her. Had she not be agile enough. There was probably a very high chance he could have squished her to the floor beneath her…. Now that would have a been a tragic story. Instead had caught some grounding on the opposite wall of the bat cave. Which added to the tightness. the pressure of the rope. That had not only restricted him of his wing use, least one of them, knocking out the counter balance and along with bring the beast to the ground. Was this now nearing the end? The creature couldn't play with that mind set. It wasn't over until it was over. When one game ended another always started. Although in this case. It was pure fight of the feral. Territory a little. There wasn't the room for both so called predators. Not in this city and there was vague attention on another bat. A bat in a cowl, that was questionable if he needed to also get pinned. To what ever degree that could be. Later times. Though most certainly if she wasn't on his radar yet, she most likely will tonight… She wasn't much one for the big flashes. The glory, though one needed to make reminders every once in an while… As eyes glared down as the beast had crumbled into the ground, possibly a broken bone by the sounds. Limbs that had been bound were still bound. A wing still free and possibly his legs. Along with his head of course. One shouldn't under estimate the power of jaws… Thats if that wasn't the bone he broke… That might be difficult. Though trying figure out which bone he possibly broke really wasn't an interest to her. Being taken down a peg or two was. Now was to take down the rest. Tangle the beast as well as she could, before sending him, where he was probably best. Prison if not an animal shelter. What chances would he have there in finding a home? Who would take him in? The Serpent stepped down the wall a little. As her dark sharp eyes inspected him below. There was a motion, but it ceased before any sudden movement. Almost just crashing as if in a sofa bed. Only much harder.
The danger wasn't completely gone. As tangled. As pathetic as he looked as a beast. There was always a chance. One could never assume one didn't have an instinct to survive at the very least. She was sure she had the ability to kill him. It, but that wasn't why she was here. It was a risky move. Leaping from the wall and possibly landing on top of the beast. Rope in place. As she had motioned for a dagger at one of his shoulders. Fangs out. Her breath near enough at his enlarged ear. Nothing so much verbally spoken, but very much the essence of the threat. To give up. Not that she so much the creature to show a lot of mercy. Knowing the fight was all but over, but she come here with all intentions to win. The blood dripped from her cheek. Made a tiny pool beneath. Wiped a little on her arm, with her darkened gaze and her bloodied lips. Stained at her chin. The sensation on her head was mild in the back of her mind. In the initial mindset to look to bound him more in the ropes. As strong as she may be, she alone wasn't going to be able to drag his carcass out of the cave.

The beast's breath came heavy, great gusts of hot and foul breath shooting from flared nostrils. He felt her approach, felt her presence a top of him. It was a foolish action, even with Man-Bat's weakened state. His eyes snapped open, pupils slitted dangerously, and with the last of his strength he attacked. His body twisted painfully, moving into a roll in an effort to trip up his opponent. His neck jerked back, teeth parted to clamp down onto her leg, sharp teeth burrowing into torn flesh. Man-Bat attemped to shred her side with the sharp talons of his foot if she should topple to the rock beside him.
It was a painful effort, and after the moment of attack, consciousness slipped away with a fading, deep throated rumble. His massive, winged frame began to shrink, fur fading into pale flesh, wings dissolving into bony arms, talons morphing to toes. The Man-Bat was Man-Bat no more, as the bare skinned body of Robert Langstrom took shape, bruised and bloodied. He sleapt upon the cold stone without a sound, tangled in rope, with the finger of his right hand giving a slight twitch before settling still and relaxed. In his slumber, Robert hardly noticed the frigid air that touched his skin.

In the swirling mass of stillness and darkness, the snake had perched upon the back of the enlarged beast. Like a big black pool where her own black feet stood. With the mere sign from every breath that came. Just enough to break the droplets of water somewhere deep in the cave. There was an ache she could feel, just from the mere shift in her stance. The vibrations that flowed through her system. Like a fluttering of music, just on a very bad key. Least for his sake. As a deadly smirk was on her lips. Drawing closer to his ear. Smelt the sensation of his blood vessels fighting. They were gonna give a good fight. The creature could give them that. A grip still firm on rope, but nails entwined in his fur. Not in any form of the kind affections. Just as with the flick of her tongue, to hiss the harm of the pulse beating not even an inch from her lips. Calling to be met. That was when the last waves broke. As in the beast shear attempts twisting his body. Enough to unsettle where she had perched. He defiantly was sharp, had perhaps learnt a lesson not to abide his time. As in the roll that threw Serpent off to the hard lumpy ground of cave and a piercing pain spread up and down leg. Like a hot warm wetness, that spread. Mingling within the torn black fabric. There was a sharp escape from her lips, not so quite a scream, but a sound of pain. Before her head flipped at him with dark protruding eyes and sharp hiss. The beast was going to have to rip her from limb to limb if wanted to win this battle. He certainly could play feral.
Sharp pains along her side from the talons of his feet. It was possible something was pierced with flow of spot at one spot. Mixed in the aroma of the already spilled blood combined with sweat and filth. Then in her attempts to rip herself free. His attempts slowed. Weakened. Rising her head up from the floor, in the freedom. Motioned to jump on him. Not to allow one more second of foolish behaviour. It was worth the risk. With fall soundtrack of her hiss and clash of her fangs. Ready to chop down and pump as much as she could before… The creature froze for a moment, as something was changing. He was changing? As his wing shrunk. Her darkened eyes looked to where it had once been large. Blinking. There really had been a man here all along! The Serpent slipped off, but remained a inch away. It hardly made her heart swarm to see what was left of his humanity. With in a flip, all there was a limb man bound in rope. Took in a last intake of the scent. He smelled worse than he had before… A dark hand touched at his wrist. Lifting it up and let it drop. Allowed the subtle flow of how the poison played like a blanket over his heart. Pulse slowed. It was quite a sound, maybe not hear, but she defiantly could feel it. Though Serpent bit his wrist, one more dose. Too seal it hopefully for the journey to his next resting place…
After some careful moments of bounding the man in the rope. Hardly could call him a beast now. Broke free the last victim, that was still want kicking in his own slumber. Finally after the battle, Serpent allowed the outside in. Heard more than trickles in the deep dank cave. Heard the echoes of waves. Lapping at the ridged edges. How the wind beat against the openings. Up the darkness of the walls, the creature emerged. With the limb body of the survivor and dangled the bound man in the rope. Not to much length, but a few more bumps against the hard rocks on the walls would hardly be a bad thing. Slumped the bodies on the ground, before the Serpent slithered its way out of the cave. Camouflaged by the darkness. The shadows. The wind warm against her skin. When she did get to her feet, putting the weight down wasn't easy with the gash. The blood still trickled of the warm pain, a limb, but the Serpent wasn't defeated… Dragged the bound roped man, with the last length of the rope, bound him to a nearby tree. Not far from the road. The sound of a helicopter was felt throughout he vibrations. The shift change in direction of cars and sirens. The Serpent didn't need to go taken him to the police. She wasn't exactly on their good list. It was question what list she would be on. As if in moments of the cars appearing. Lights in a magical array. Serpent's dark boot flipped at the pedal of her motor bike. A hand ran mildly over her leg. The spot on her side. As blood trickled over her finger tips. There may be a hospital visit or maybe more the first aid kit. In one last sharp look from the Serpent's gaze. Cops! Could sense the alluring questions! The Black Serpent had stopped the beast. Saved Gotham…. But all for what? For all the stories that could come, it was possible they could just think she betrayed the beast. Like the predator that she could be. After all! Who trusts a snake?
