Victor smiled when she greeted him in one of the Native American languages. He didn't know which one it was or what exactly it was she said. But he could tell what it meant. Or at least he could deduce what it meant but looking at the context of what was happening. He didn't expect her to take his hand as she got in the car but didn't pull away. After all there was no harm in being polite. He found himself wondering who all he would see at this event and why he was being hired to go take pictures at this event. He hadn't been told much, just something about Oliver Queen throwing a costume party and that somehow made it important enough for pictures.
"Sorry about cutting you off like that. Its just really cold out there." He said looking at Zahira as he got in the driver's seat and shut the door. He turned the key and looked over to Zahira when she asked about her costume. "Well keep in mind that I never met her. But from what I've read and heard and what not, yes you do." He said before looking at the key turning it again trying to get the car to start. Of course. Last time it was the door. Now its the motor... Or was it starter? He looked over at Zahira again when she commented on his costume. "Yes it is. The lowly humble Volksgrenadier. And thanks." He said before turning the key again this time not looking away from Zahira. "Don't worry this isn't new." He said mentioning the fact that the car wouldn't start. Then after a fourth try the motor finally started. "Yes!" Victor muttered under his breath out of excitement.
After looking around to make sure that no one else was coming he pulled the car out of the spot it was in and started to drive towards the party. Victor took a quick look at Zahira when she spoke and then smiled before quickly looking back out at the road. "Don't worry I'm sure you'll do fine." He said after she was finished speaking. "My big worry is that I'll have trouble fitting in. I've never been good with being around high profile people." He said refering to Oliver Queen, he still had no clue what the cause of the party was and who all would be there. All he knew was that he needed to take pictures there. Though he had to admit that it felt nice to have someone there to help him. He looked over at her camera before looking back out at the people. "Hey... That's a nice camera." He said smiling up at her.
After getting lost a few times he finally managed to get them there. When they pulled up to the house Victor stopped and looked at Zahira. "Here we go." He said raising his eyebrows with a playful smile. Before getting out and running over to open Zahira's door and helped her out. Then he opened the back door and grabbed his trench coat and put it on. Then he thought that maybe Zahira might need it. "You want to borrow this while we walk in?" He asked her politely.

"Good evening, Hawkgirl," Kara smiled at the one coming party guest.
She wasn't sure what to call the League member besides what she had always at the tower. Unlike she did when she was along with Kal-El. But he was her cousin. This was a League member with a temper, she had heard.
Well enough of one that Hawkgirl took off on her own from the League for sometime. But was still considered a part of the team.
The door had opened before she could continue any sort of conversation with the woman standing with her. And there should Oliver Queen as he introduced himself. She knew of him. Kal-El had talked of him lately with Batman. Batman looking to have him on the team vs what Superman thought of the man's actions. This was the Green Arrow they talked about.
He was rather cute for someone his age. Well maybe handsome would be the better word. Kara knew to keep her manners. She wasn't just there for herself. She was there as Clark Kent's cousin and she wanted to leave a good impression on those in the League.
"Kara Kent. Pleasure, Mr. Queen," Kara said as she returned the hand shake. She took it easy as to not crush his hand in her grip. She still at times did not know her own strength, but she was getting better at controlling herself.
"You have a lovely home. And yes, it's good to see you again Dinah and thank you. You look stunning yourself," Kara replied with a smile as she entered into the house.
Kara could hear the sound of someone else off in the distance coming by air. She could only image who that was.
She ventured further in and turned slightly taking in the view of the decorations around them. Mr. Queen certainly went all out for the holidays.

Hesitating a moment, Hawkgirl very carefully shakes Oliver's offered hand. Having spent eighty five years almost exclusively people who are just as strong as she is, the past five years here haven't been enough for her to learn to be very delicate with her hands. As a result, her grip is excessively firm, though she wouldn't have taken his hand if she weren't confident that she could shake it without breaking any of the fragile little bones in his fingers. "Hawkgirl," she replies with a smile. It's not her real name, but she has no alternate identity and prefers the name that the humans gave her over her real one anyway. She's never met Mr. Queen before, though she knows what she needs to know about him already.
Another problematic thing is being invited inside - she doesn't like confined spaces at all, but she quickly reassures herself that this is a very big building, and there are surely plenty of large spaces inside. Her claustrophobia rarely prevents her from doing normal things - it's only the very abnormal things that can be problems. Everything else is just simply more difficult, but she's not one to back down from any sort of challenge even if it's internal. So she takes a breath and forces herself to be okay with the fact that she's going inside.
"Yes, a little," she replies when asked about Dinah, being able to remember working with her a few times, but never having had a real conversation with her before. Especially since she's all business when she's working - always concentrating on the mission instead of using it as an opportunity to socialize. "Good evening, Dinah," she says with a smile and a nod, appreciating the woman's reaction to her whitened wings. It's a fun effect, she must admit, even though she considers her natural gray color to be more attractive.
Being asked if she wants to give up her coat is a welcome distraction from the fact that she's inside. "Yes, though just a moment - this thing is tricky," she explains, turning slightly to be sure that she doesn't bump anything with her wings as her fingers negotiate with the zippers. The ones along her back and shoulders that keep her coat in place aren't especially easy to reach, perhaps only one notch less difficult than zipping up a dress, and there's more than one. Though it only takes her a few extra moments to have them unfastened and take off her coat. "Thank you," she says with a smile as she folds it over and hands it to him. If he had any impression that her wings might be an accessory and not actually a part of her, the close view of her back he'd be able to have now would dispel it - she's definitely not human.
She pauses then for an instant, having heard something outside. "Sounds like Clark is here," she comments idly. He's one person she does know rather well - enough to know the difference between him and anyone else based on sound alone even at this distance and with the door closed. In fact she can tell that he's not in his Superman guise because she doesn't hear the fabric of his cape being jostled by the wind.
Oliver's last question causes her to quietly mutter to herself as she wanders further into the mansion toward what is hopefully a more open area than the front entrance, "Hro, Korschian Oysters, good drinks..." Nevertheless, she's determined to enjoy herself. Or at least tolerate it all in relatively good humor.

Romance! Romance! Was much in the air… Also right here…There. This night. Dick had finally come, to sweep Kory off her feet. In a manner of ways. As the initial spark from when she first met him, shone through her eyes as she motioned closer on their way to the getaway car. Any time Dick came and took Kory away in a car. Kory got excited, because there was always the unknowing where he'd take her. Just happy he was taking her some where. A part from the times she took him by air, that was often just to make out with him closer to the stars. Kory's eyes flushed to his as Dick commented about his worry factor, in which Kory bubbled up a giggle. This was good… Kory liked when he was in these kinds of moods. Always liked him, but defiantly fun with these moods.
"Did I mention I love you?"
Kory playfully asked him back, with a subtle breathless laugh as she leaned a little, into him, tickling faintly against the warmth of his neck. Because though she joked about it… Whether it was worrying or what ever it was, it was who he was… Kory hoped he would wake up one day and change to much, although if for some reason he did. Kory was sure she could change with him. Smiling sweetly with the feel of the skin of his neck. Before kissing him deeply on the cheek. Even sneaking in her tongue for a moment. Before she giggled. Kissing him on the cheek was only a tiny bit of what she wanted to do and boy her heart was already beginning to thud racing. But before sending her lips to action on his neck in hopes to add to the mark left previous. His light caring joke as if Kory hadn't needed to ask him to stay, made her feel a lot more like she could fly, forgiven the fact she actually could. Kory smiled brightly with a simple laugh, because she knew she needn't be, but perhaps he was right. She was a little worried, even if it wasn't something she wanted to feel. She couldn't control her feelings. She could only wear them. Always happier when she shared them.
"Sort of… I wouldn't stop you if you did, I wouldn't lose it completely… But, I like you staying over… You be staying every night, if I had my way… But I only want it… If you want it."
Honestly Kory responded, whilst they finally made it too the car and Kory positioned herself comfortably in the passenger seat. Seemed he was driving tonight in a lot of ways tonight. Kory smiled between her words. Because really she asked, was because she wanted him to come over, but just coming out saying I want you to stay… She well, she liked hearing what he wanted. As she convinced him sweetly that if he didn't come over, she could find ways to cope. Although there were the things that he could do, that was just better than anything she could. As she laughed softly. Before just telling him straight. What she wanted. And what would happen had she gotten it.. Not that moving in was the topic of choice, that Kory knew as she looked to him, with a more meaningful tone. That it wouldn't mean anything him staying or moving in, if it wasn't what he wanted either. But Kory liked when Dick was happy and generally making that happen… Kory also knew, Dick liked making her happy.
"I guess that was a long way of saying… Thank-you! Sometimes i just need moments to see the luck I have… Too cheesy?"
Kory commented with an amusing look knowing what he had said, had been his way of saying yes and making her happy. She laughed mildly at herself and at the moment really. Before kindly doing her best to thank him. As Kory sat across in the car with her eyes happily upon him. With assuming the engine on and ready to go… Commenting about luck… Basically in her own Kory way, saying she knew she was lucky to have him. He was her luck if it exists. Before her eyes looked down for a moment. She wasn't too sure if it was one of those moments she made as much sense as she thought she did. More often than not, he would understand, but Kory oddly liked him being honest basically saying she's speaking nonsense. It didn't seem to bother him if it did, nor her, given not everything made a lot of sense to herself.
With another added smile and the flash of her eyes at him. There now a fancy new car… Which would help with them getting home tonight. Hopefully eventually in arm embracing mode, but it was going to be late. There was the feeling, the sun would be out first, but so long as he came… Even if it was just to sleep. It made waking up, brighter. Kory smiled warmly at Dick at the way he looked at her. From the act with the car. Half resting her head back in the head rest and giggled softly. There were times, she would do it, just because she could. Plus reactions were fun… Basically acting a fool, she wasn't as serious as Dick was most of the time. She smiled to him a little more darkly. Hopefully she made things less boring…
"You know it doesn't matter the car, its how it warms up… But it is very pretty… Plus it likes me."
Casually with a more smug look on her face as looked across from where she sat comfortably, with her head still back a bit. Giving him the knowing look. Almost the little play with her eyebrows… Unless he was going to play her in which she'd have to spell it out for him. As she reached hand across, placing it upon the top of his leg closest to her. With the gentle caring caress… Before smiling kindly and less playfully as she commented about how pretty the car was. Brightened up about the car liking her, joking about it opening up for her… Much like Dick did when she kissed him. So wanting to cuddle up to him and more, but Kory wanted him safer first. Especially when driving. As Kory watched him in waiting for the car to literally warm up. Kory playfully squinted at him. If he looked at her. She'd smile amusingly bright at him. She could tell he was checking things off… More like adding to the list, for later things. Kory slipped a laugh she had in her head, it was just to cute. Not that she was laughing at him. It just made it all more fun in trying to turn his head off… Well, certain parts. Turning them into other directions. Then as in her attempt to watch all of a sudden, Dick called out ready. Her eyes lit up to him in response.
"Brilliant!"
Kory responded with comical enjoyment. It was all just lovely to watch him be a man. Take charge in least the ways he could. Kory was in switzerland when it came between his head and his heart. Both entertained her and both she loved. Sweetly adding a smile. Soon they were off. Pulling out of the park an driving through the streets of Bludhaven. In the direction, Kory could only hope was Star City. They probably didn't have the time for pit stops, but kory would make a note of interesting stuff, if she saw it on the way for another time. Road trips though not often, were fun. Soon after a couple good farm crops. Which Kory made a note to check about the nice turnips from the turnip farm. Also a nice cheese market, which at first a beautiful smell, then not so much… Which Dick hinted winding the window up would work. Soon city lights loomed in and around them. After passing the Grell Museum. They soon drove over Star bridge. Kory peaked at all the new scenery. In wonder at a giant star on top of surrounding buildings… It was cute. Was like a nod to the universe. Kory was very happy, she was liking the city so far. It wasn't home, but it was something small. Effort. Passing the Papp Stadium with an advertisement for the next baseball game, Kory leaving with Dick a suggestion if they find the time during then, to come back for it. It could be fun. Though of course. Fun was happening tonight. As soon as the flickering lights were seen. They eventually arrived at Oliver Queens residents, for the costume party. Kory was happy once they found a place for the car. Reaching a hand to do a little shimmy with his hair, from what she messed up on the trip from playing with it. Before pulling him by his collar with little pain. As minor result from containing herself as well as she had. As she kissed him deeply for a moment. Although given the vibe Kory was sure there would be a lot more tonight. With the door opened for her. Kory was soon out of the car. With a little adjusting of the skirt of her long nicely beaded red dress. Her has casually pulling up the bustier part, but Kory was confident there be no peep show. Kory offered her purple gloved hand at her date's arm. As they walked through the chilly night up too the door.
"It really is quiet lovely!.. I especially like the greenery… It must have a beautiful view."
Kory sweetly commented about the property. The house. Particularly the surrounding land. Before her eyes looked up to the floors above windows. Suggesting the views would be to die for or the very least beautiful. As her heels gently stepped to the front door. Before coming to stop with Dick closely beside her. Making there presences known. Whether it be a knock or a buzz… Within what time there was to wait. Kory kept close. Eyes falling upon Dick in her desirable ways. Defiantly dancing was one of them. As her hand came to his chest, ran down to his belt and playfully pulled him in closer. With what space was left. Her ran back up, to play teasingly under his chin. Trailing to his neck. To the stop. Defiantly contemplating. Teasingly. With a brush of her nose tip to his own. Felt little warm fuzzes. Brushing faintly her lips against his own. Just enjoying the moment and many more to come. Most of all enjoying his company. Soon with friends.

"You know sometimes I enjoy the chance to leave my work behind and escape even for a short time," Dick replied.
His own apartment was his headquarters. Where he could get his work done. At Kory's he had time for work, but often fell into the act now, work later phase.
Though, he'd never say it to her and she knew of it either way. Dick liked his space and alone time. Or as many of his friends called it, his brooding time. Just like his mentor it seemed. But in the Bat-family, most of them were used to being alone.
As they made their way down to the car and Kory made her jokes, Dick held the car door open for her. The joining her in the driver's side. Ready to head off to the party.
The time went by fast as they came upon the Queen mansion. It was impressive, but Dick had grown up in the life of the rich. So it was some way of a sight you get used to when going out to parties. He could recall a party or two where the mansions were slightly larger and in another country.
"Knowing the Queens it probably does. They own the best places in this town," Dick replied.
He knew the family was well built into the community as well. At least Oliver's father had been from the sounds of it.
They'd wait at the door for a butler or the host himself to show them in.

Oliver turned back to the door with a smile as he began to wonder how many times he’d have to open this door tonight. He should have thought this through a little better when planning it. Ollie turned from the Girls before opening the door at the sound of a loud knock. “Thanks Kara, it’s been in the family for a few hundred years and it’s grown on me.” Oliver looked up at the grand door, and it was grand. Perhaps not in size but from the level of craftsmanship in the patterns that circulated through the wood.
His ear pricked up at the name, Clark, one most heroes knew all to well. A smile appeared upon Oliver’s face at the fact that the Man of Steel himself had arrived at the party; as Ollie was some what a fan. Oliver grabbed and turned the handle once more, opening the oak door to the sight of not just one guest but to three. The first was a man who stood over Oliver by at least half a foot. He had large shoulders with matching arms that didn’t really suit the glasses upon his nose. Was this Superman? The God among men that he’d seen so much of on the news? Ollie was surprised by his secret identity; although simplistic it was the farthest thing you’d imagine him to look like. Hiding in plain sight, Oliver thought. “Wow. You must be…Clark? Pleasure to meet you.”
The other two were a couple or so it looked in the manner of which they stood side by side. Oliver had seen him do the same with Dinah. He was younger than the billionaire yet he recognised the Gangster very quickly. He believed him to be Dick Grayson, aka Nightwing. No small hero, especially in Bludhaven, a City Oliver had frequented often. Ollie quite liked the fedora upon his head; it was quite a classy little hat to wear. Oliver’s eyes then shifted to his female companion who sparkled in the moon light like her long red dress. If Dinah wasn’t here, he thought with a smirk before quickly shaking off the thought. She was quite attractive though, Grayson had done well. There was something about her skin, it seemed to glow a dull orange shade which made Ollie smile. She must be Starfire, or Kory Anders. Dinah had shown him a picture of all the people coming to the party.
Ollie stretched out a hand to each of them, to shake their hands with a firm grip. Although he thought Clark’s would break his hand. Once he’d shook their hands, Ollie stepped out of the way to allow them to enter. “Hi, I’m Oliver, pleased to meet you all. Thanks for coming.” He saw a car pull up at the bottom of the drive with what seemed a Native American climbing out with a Nazi following her close behind. Actually he had to wipe his eyes first before taking another look. He didn’t expect that.

Clark straightened out his suit and simply stood where he was at the door keeping quiet and trying not to drawn any undue attention to himself. He couldn't help but wondering all would be there. After all he didn't show up to these places like this. When the door opened he looked to see ho it was and smiled abit. "You must be..... Oliver right?" He asked as he shifted the glasses on his nose.
He entered once he was invited into the building. "So how many people have shown up yet?" He asked kindly simply trying to make conversation. After all there was no reason he shouldn't.... After all that is how these things went right?

“Thank you Kara.” Dinah replied to the compliment and began to relax a little, for she had always seemed to get along with teenagers. It could be because she was a natural teacher having patience, understanding and leadership skills where she could guide the youth into becoming the best at what they do. And it was not impossible to see that the girl was very out going, and bright. Dinah could see a little bit of herself in the young woman at her age and this put a smile on her face. The girl could become a real great leader some day if she applied herself as one. She often imagined having a daughter like Supergirl. So spirited, a little stubborn at times, ready to go out and explore the world to define herself even more, but having children was not on Dinah’s list of things to do. The world was too dangerous to raise children, especially when your enemies knew who you were. What kind of a mother would purposely bring children into dangerous times as these? Still… it would be nice to let go of Alison so that she could find her path in life without Dinah’s hand to hold. Seeing her cousin grow up would make Dinah proud and yet sad to close that chapter on her life.
Her eyes turned onto the host of the party. She could imagine Oliver as a father. He could be just as immature as a child at times, which would allow him to bond with them instantly. She smirked a little and hid her smile behind the glass. She could also see Oliver as a great protector and a man who would stop at nothing to ensure the safety of their children. Their children… it had a nice ring to it but the idea was impossible. The very night she had lost her canary cry was also the night she was unable to bear children. Oliver knew of this and yet he still continues to remain with her, but for what reason? Her blue eyes continued to watch the man work his charm on each guest until her attention was once again drawn away by someone answering one of her comments.
Shayera’s smile was comforting in an unfamiliar gathering of others and Dinah’s thoughts had began to wonder if Hawkgirl was just as nervous as she was. The exhale created by the angel was noticeable by anyone who was looking for it, and Dinah was. She wasn’t sure as to why Shayera had done so but there was plenty of time to figure it out later. Her eyes wandered over the woman’s wings and changed from normal watching to something of curiosity and awe. She could not imagine having wings although it would be interesting to have them to further her identity as the Black Canary. After all, canaries were not flightless birds. She might enjoy the feeling of absolute freedom but not diving at ridiculously high speeds and then jerking back as if a parachute opened. She did not fight for fun, but because it felt right to help those who could not help themselves. But if she had to, Shayera would be the first woman she would ask to train her in flying lessons.
As the winged woman mentioned Clark’s arrival, Dinah considered what it would be like if Batman were to arrive. She had met him before on occasion during her stay in Gotham and especially at the Justice League Headquarters, but to see him at Oliver’s party? No, Oliver would not invite him. Not if it meant finding friction between him and the caped crusader. And yet how would Oliver act when it came to jealousy? In the past, it was Dinah who had struggled to keep her temper in check when ever Oliver would go from one woman to the other. For once it would be interesting to have the roles reversed. But other than Jason and the Bat, who would she choose over Oliver?
Dinah pursed her lips together when she saw the connection between all three men. They were very similar to Batman in many ways and all three had skeletons in the closet. Did she love any one of them more than the other? Each man brought something to her where the others lacked but she knew that Oliver was the man who would return to her as many times necessary. Batman would move on and Jason was unstable. This thought caused her heart to flutter as her cheeks grew warm with blood rushing to them. Not even an island could keep Oliver away from her. “My one kryptonite.” She uttered under her breath as she looked over Oliver’s from behind while Clark approached. By reading Oliver’s body language, she could tell that he was impressed and quite possibly seeing one of his heroes for the first time. She also noted the familiar footfalls of the gangster but could not place who he was right away. The man’s date had certainly caught Oliver’s eye, although that was no surprise to Dinah. She was used to him looking and knew better than to compare herself to other women when she held the utmost confidence in herself. And Dinah had already had her fair share of moments of making Oliver angry while Jason was around. Ugh, there her thoughts go back to Jason again! She rubbed her forehead and tried to clear her mind by taking in more drink. Easy girl, you got this. Go appear to be having fun.
“Hey Clark.” Dinah kept her eyes on her drink then slowly raised them from the glass to his glasses. She never was impressed with his geeky look but he was absolutely magnificent when he was not hiding behind his identity and saving the world. “Where’s your date?” She asked quietly mostly from feeling out of place. She could not imagine him showing up at a party without Lois Lane but then again he was Clark tonight and not the man with the S on his chest. Of course Lois wouldn’t be with Clark, not when she could have a world-saving hero instead. Maybe that’s why she did not care much for Lois? Subconsciously she could not understand how anyone would choose someone with powers over someone without them. Love was love no matter what they possessed. And why does Clark have to put on a façade around Lois and torture himself in knowing she loves someone that was not him? Or was Superman the real him? What better way to find out and distract her thoughts than by asking? “You wouldn’t like to dance, would you?” She offered and set her drink aside on a tray as the waitress passed by.
Before he could answer, she plucked off his glasses and bent the hinges back so she could tuck the temple into the inside of her dress while the glasses hung down in front of her chest on the outside since she did not have any pockets to put them in. Her hands slid through his fingers as she got into a dance position and guided his hand onto her waist before putting her hand on his shoulder. She looked into his soft expression and encouraged him with a smile that she was not up to anything. “You’re not half bad-looking without glasses.” She glanced over his high cheekbones and black hair that brought out his blues. His lips were plump atop his strong jaw. No matter how hard he tried, he could not hide his powerful muscles below any costume or business shirt. So strong and yet such a nice guy. She had always felt safe around him, not just in a crisis but also to be able to trust him with anything she had to say.
“Just who are you, Clark? Are you the well-mannered farm boy and boy scout? Or are you the never failing hero Metropolis has come to adore?” She moved in time with the music, finding it easy to do so with a rhythm and beat to follow. She squeezed his shoulder and felt as if she was squeezing a boulder wearing a suit more than an alien. How does a man such as Clark be so alone in the universe and keep his sanity in fighting against the corrupt? Or is that the answer to her own question? Fighting always keeps him distracted and sane? Or maybe he was a quick healer in the sense of mentally healing as well as emotional like Dinah was. Her eyes moved past his shoulder and back to the door when she saw another couple enter into the Queen‘s “castle.” .
Dinah recognized Victor almost instantly due to the war costume and the way he walked. She felt relieved that she could talk to someone she knew, trained, and accepted as a good friend. But who was the woman he came to the party with? It was not Alison. Did Alison know that he was there without her? The camera Victor brought with him suggested that he was there more as a photographer than a guest at the party. Even then why didn’t her cousin join him? Knowing Victor he was probably too shy to do just that.

Too be honest, Zahira could only be so sure what she had said, but hoped it was along the lines of: Hello, Hi or some sort of greeting. Given Victor smiled, it was received, well? After the pause. Zahira had soon found a comfortable position in Victor's car. Along with her Pocahontas attire. Her brown eyes looked to Victor warmly as he apologised. "It is pretty nippy out there… I can't say I've ever really had anyone drive me before, not since… But, certainly never as accommodating as this." Smiling at his words, Zahira's eyes escaped momentarily at the situation and really hadn't minded at all. Not that she'd even really noticed he'd cut her off. Had he meant to, maybe. Barely needing to look out the window and the crispy weather on the pavements, to know that it was cold. Though mildly commented. Shared, this alone was rather new to her, without really just belatedly putting it out there. Pausing before mentioning the experience with the wrong kind of crowd, but never really the genuine friendly kind. Not that she was complaining, she just was new too it. As she expressed she was thankful with a warm smile. "Thank-you! I'm curious how many might mistake your costume… Should we tally it?" Zahira politely thanked Victor upon the comment of her costume. With a simple knowing smile about the Volksgrenadier costume, she looked to him with a curious yes… Assuming from their past conversations, that he knew what Zahira was pointing at as her eyes scanned down… Easy mistake to make, for those who didn't know. Suggesting maybe see how many? Innocently of course. Zahira expressed a grin as he commented about the car. "For someone that doesn't even have a car, it's perfectly fine!" Zahira commented a little more confidently. Knowingly. As Victor would know she may only have a motorbike, but that alone was best used for night getaways. It was questionable whether she was even legal to drive it, so getting pulled over for general use, might just not be helpful. She really wasn't much of a car guru, to be honest. Not being a bit concerned until he mentioned it. It seemed pretty good and just as she expected. When it finally started.
Least he seemed a good driver. Hardly ever swayed from his eye line. Looked a little in her direction, out of politeness. He was after all the friendly kind. Which Zahira has come to realise more and more was genuine. Although, its just hard when you've been tricked before. That was hardly someone like, Victor's fault… It wasn't hers either, but placing blame really wasn't solving anything. It was just a very human thing to do. Zahira was sure it just took sometime for some people and being in a party situation tonight. As she'd mentioned. Was defiantly new. Not so much whether they'd like her. More just not really sure what was expected at these places. Though just at her seemingly little concerns. Victor piped in… Hard really explain how, but his words were quite convincing. Settled her mind, least for now. Maybe realising she wasn't alone. She was so used to doing things alone. This was defiantly a new beginning than she'd ever imagined. Her cheeks blushed a little with a little awkward, but mostly assured smile. Breathed a little. Wasn't that what her mother used to say? Her throat a little caught to respond, but curiously looked over to him as she listened to his concerns. Maybe she wasn't the only one new to this, that was kind of nice. "I suppose we're a little like two peas… People are usually either afraid of what I am or just not aware. I think i stopped worrying sometime ago…. Or maybe I do… I don't know much about high profile, but you seem genuine. That accounts for a lot!" Zahira said with understanding. Maybe not to the tee, were they in the same boat, but Zahira defiantly could relate in the not fitting in department. Though it wasn't exactly something that she seemed to worry her. Least the fact that she didn't… Did it bother her? Yes. To a degree. She'd more or less gotten use to it, but certainly wasn't by choice. That wasn't to say she could communicate to people. She certainly could. In work was generally easy. It was comfort environment. Had some sort of notion of what was expected. Maybe part worried for them finding out the snake side. Because either they'd be afraid of her if they knew. If they didn't, she'd much fade in the distance. As Zahira shared a little to him. Which right now was quite new to her… In latter terms, she'd rarely ever really had even close to friends. That hadn't tricked her in some ways. This world was filled with charmers… Confessing as she looked to him confidently. That she didn't know high profile, let alone people in general half the time. Though she was assured, what Victor was. Was real. Given so far what she'd experienced, that was a highlight. Maybe most important.
Soon reaching the destination. Zahira peaked out the window… What was this? That house was nearly as big if not bigger than the museum. The surrounding land… It was defiantly spectacular place. Trickling lights everywhere. Was pretty and naturally eyes drew into the shadows. This would be a good time for a prowl… Though, what this could lead, even simple in sight. Would defiantly be beneficial. Before her eyes returned as Victor responded to her camera. Her face exotic face lit up at his words and his smile. It certainly was dear to her heart. The small things she'd managed to get and take with her. Meant a lot. "Thank-you! It was my father's… You're welcome to borrow it, if you'd like…" Kindly responded as her fingers gently played with the camera in her hands a little. Before turning it over a bit and holding it. Whilst offering Victor if he'd like to use it anytime tonight! It was more vintage, but Zahira thought it give a nice touch against the modern. Or maybe she was just a little too old school. With a half smile, but it was dear to her heart… Finally the with the car stopped. There was defiantly that extra rise. Just even as she felt it. Victor spoke. She smiled with a little blush to her cheeks, knowingly understood at his eyebrows raised. "Lets… It's very grand!" Zahira added her smile with a nod in response. Now or never kind of deal. As her dark eyes ran back over the entrance with a little concern. She'd been in more complicated pyramids than this and those hardly seemed as nerve racking. As Zahira lightly commented on the scale, with a little high note of worry in her tone. Assuming it would mean a lot of people. Before realising she was still in the car. With her hand paused at the handle. The door had practically opened itself, before humbly realising Victor had. Not realising he'd disappeared beside her, to appear on the other side of her door. It was again unexpected, but she didn't mind. As soon hopped out of the car. Shifting her costume a little from the car ride. Straightening some stuff a little. Running her hand through her black tousled mane of hair. With the little blue strands she'd added. Wasn't soon, Zahira felt the icy chill. Perhaps she should have looked for more fabric to have added.. Paused a little as Victor had retrieved his coat and then offered to her. It certainly was kind. "Sure!… If you don't mind… Thank-you!" Hardly could find herself to just pass it up. Not that it was a long way to the door and if he didn't mind. Thanking him after possible help to put the coat on and then began the stride up to the door. It wasn't overly gigantic of a coat on her. She wasn't exactly short and petite… Placed her hands comfortably into the pockets. With her little bag on her shoulder underneath and the camera around her neck. Zahira eyed Victor a little playful look. "Hmmm, it even smells like Volksgrenadier! So what battles did this one see? Siegfried Line?" Zahira commented with a nice grin. Before lightly laughing. Not really enlightening on what it smelled like. She really couldn't know, but it defiantly had that old kind of aroma. She pretty much was around it much of her life, especially with work. Artefact and a like. As they walked to the front door. Asking him some finer details. He seemed pretty in the know of this king of history. She could only assume he'd attach some kind of story. Right? As she suggest and questioned a little. Had she gone egyptian, then surely added detailing than just a tale… Soon making the little steps up to the door. After noting some interesting people making their way inside. After greeting a rather good looking man. Defiantly well built. "Do you know much about the people that own this foundation? Queen did you say?" Zahira asked a little more closely to Victor. She knew really much less than he probably did. Just recalled Queen. It really didn't ring many bells back from her homeland. Before stopping sort of the man that would greet them. Staying a little at Victor's toe, but not completely hiding. Just a little hesitate of it being all quite new. "Hello… It's a pleasure! I'm Zahira Ormarr…" With somewhat ease, Zahira expressed a polite and hopefully warm greeting to the fellow. Who she was assuming either owned the place or simply welcoming them. Extended her hand a little hesitantly at first, was that right gesture? Going a little by feel at this point. Before offering her name and allowing Victor. More here on business than merely the party. Did she hear correctly, moments before? Hawkgirl? As Zahira of course a little more closer to being inside. Where it be warm. Would start to take the coat off and hand it back it back, once Victor was ready to take it back.

Victor shrugged slightly and chuckled abit. "Well I can say that its happened far more then one time." He said. "I even wrote a report about it for class one time." Once he found the spot to park he walked Zahira into the large mansion. "I don't know much about these people. I just know that I'm supposed to get pictures here for the paper." He said plainly. After all he wasn't too too excited about being here.
]color=888888]"Well most of this outfit belonged to my Grandfather. And he fought all through Operation Overlord, or as most know it D-Day and the Battle for Normandy. He also fought in North Africa, Germany...... He was all over the Western Front of WWII. I still don't know how he survived it all."[/color] He said answering her question as they approached the door. When they got to the front door and Victor saw Oliver standing there he just sorta nodded in greeting. "Hi there Oliver. I'm supposed to be taking pictures." He said raising his camera slightly. He looked around and saw Dinah dancing with Clark.... Clark? What was he doing here? He had met him once before and had gotten his scent..... In other words he knew who Clark was. He found himself wondering how the people here would react if they knew who Clark was. He then smiled in greeting towards Dinah when she looked in his direction. He looked back at Oliver. "So is there anything special I should know? Or is there anything special you'd like me to do?" He asked just to make sure.
