This wasn't the planned location for the head quarters at all. At least Dick hoped it wasn't. Roy had wanted everyone to meet up at the same place to begin with. And what better place than the old empty boat house that was long the bay.
The perfect place for criminals to meet. Which meant, it was perfect for the 'Outsiders'. What a team this was going to be. A name like that said it all. They were all outsiders looking in.
Each one almost as lost as the other. No team to fit to and seemingly no life to lead on their own as a vigilante....No this wasn't the reason. Though for some of the members, Dick could see it that way.
The team was to operate on the missions the League didn't generally like to pick up. And the work was too much for the Titans. It would require a team of upper scaled powers and experience. And who better to lead the team than...Roy?
Dick had gone along with this. And really...why had he gone along with this? This team was a bunch of misfits. And the mix of the team was asking for trouble. With Batman heading off to communicate missions to them that the League would not allow him to take a squad.
Then there was Supergirl, someone Dick had gotten to join the team..with Kory's help. A head strong super teen. Inexperienced with the whole 'teamwork'.
And then there was Wulfen. Someone who needed the experience of working on a team as well as working as a vigilante. Someone Kory suggested and Roy had agreed to.
Roy was the leader, given the money was coming from his ex-partner the most to fund the 'club house' as Roy had put it. As childish as always....
Kory was also a part of this whole thing. She had been the one to work with Dick on the idea of just how the team might run better with him in second command. Even though the idea had passed by him and Bruce one night. But it meant one more thing for Dick to stay in control of. Dick had followed Kory's suggestion. Though he also thought there was more to her thoughts of him not having to work more than he already was. Maybe an attempt to steal more of his time, not that he was complaining.
He wasn't sure just how many more Roy was planning on inviting. With himself and Roy being the only to humans on the team with two super-powered aliens and one meta. This was an interesting mix.
And this is what it all led to...Nightwing waiting at the docks for everyone to show up. Roy couldn't have picked a better place. And yet it was so obvious of a place like this for people of any gang to meet up.
As for the supplier of the funding, Dick was left to wonder if Green Arrow would even show up just to see the team off. After all it was his money and he needed to see what it was going toward.
Dick had told Kory he'd meet her at the docks. And he was already there waiting for her in return.

Kory had told Wulfen that there was a team that was supposed to meet up in the docks. It was some kind of group that was meant for people who didn't have much experience being with a team or something like that. And he had been told to wear his costume...... so he had gotten in his Native American themed outfit. Complete with bow, arrows, and warclub. He wasn't trying to be overtly stealthy out here in the docks.... But he was on alert. Last time he was out here hadn't gone so well. And he didn't want a repeat of his run in with Scarecrow.
After wandering around the docks for abit he stopped and sniffed the air. He found a scent that he had smelt before. He followed it for away and then found someone standing out here alone. He was going to get ready and sneak up on them before he realized why the scent was familiar. It was Dick..... Or rather.... What was that name? Oh right. Nightwing. He made his way closer and cleared his throat. "Hey there Nightwing." He said in greeting. There was no reason to be hostile. He wasn't competing with Dick anymore. He had realized that Dick and Kory were together... They felt the same way about each other that Victor felt about Alison.

Nightwing had known the wolf man was coming long before me announced his arrival. This was the trick of the trade when it came to the Bat-family.
Nightwing had been perched up on an old crate. When Wulfen came within range, he jumped off the crate.
"I see you got the invite from Starfire then, Wulfen. Glad you decided to show up," Nightwing said. There was no icy tone. Just the huskier voice he used as Nightwing compared to being Dick Grayson. Though his did not differ as much as Robin and Batman.
He looked around knowing others would soon show.

"As have I," another voice spoke up from the higher levels of the old boating warehouse.
Kara Zor-El appeared more into there view as she floated down to them. Or better yet, Supergirl She had slipped in by a window. There was no point in taking out any walls. After all knowing of the Bat-family they didn't like to give away their location. And since this was a meeting, it was best meant to keep it low profile.
Kara could see Nightwing within the dim lighting by the clear night. The moonlight casting shadows and the light clinging to what it could.
There was another figure. More of a Native or wolf combined. She wasn't sure. But she'd take a guess then.
"Though you are the one that told me," she said to Nightwing as she landed not too far off.
As she walked closer to them, she looked to the other figure. "I take it you are Wulfen, if I am not mistaken," she asked.

Wulfen brushed his hands against his pants for no real reason other then to distract himself from the uncomfortable feeling he got near the docks. "Yeah she did tell me. Though I'm not so sure what this is. Just something about a team." He said with a slight shrug.
He turned over to look when Supergirl flew in, he squinted as she entered and tried to identify her through the lenses in his mask. "Yes I'm Wulfen. Its nice to meet you.... uhhh...... I want to say its Supergirl?" He said hoping that he didn't come across as rude. He just didn't want to guess the wrong thing simply based on her outfit.
Then he noticed that there was something similar about her. Both her appearance and her scent..... Or at least he thought it was her scent, only because it entered the room the same time she did. But it was somewhat hard for him to easily identify any scents right now because of the fact that he was still rather uncomfortable due to his past experience at the docks.

"Strictly a team and organized for covert missions the League will not take on. We do not draw the public's attention and neither do we want to," Nightwing retorted over the matter.
There was a serious business tone to his voice. This was Nightwing in a focused mode. Often the side that was seen if he wasn't going to mess about at all. Kory knew this side to him a lot. And so had the other Titans.
But this was the side of him that was a bit more icy as well. He wasn't all that trilled with joining another team not after losing Donna. The Outsiders were to be nothing like the Titans.
"This is Supergirl," Dick clarified between the two.
He looked around slightly. A look to say he was still waiting for others, but he did not say it out. "Like I had said the Wulfen here, this is work that requires dedication and silence. The League doesn't know of this. Not yet at least," he said.

"Wouldn't count on it my lad." John spoke from the darkness he was lurking in as he overheard Nightwing's conversation. The glow of the embers in his cigarette lit up his face as he stepped from the gloom. The kid he revered from years ago, when he was still Robin, a little lad running at The Bat's bootheels. The blonde was wearing Supe's costume but didn't look a thing like him, he wondered if she would treat him the same way here male name-sake would, with hostility. And of course there was Victor, Alison's fella, who John was surprised to see had taken up vigilante work. A nice band of misfits like him, perfect.
"Heyup mate" John said as he walked up from behind Nightwing and stood at his shoulder. "Don't know if you remember me but I was mates with The Big Man a long time ago, you were on'y a nipper back then."
"Basically, Bats know's what going on here. He's happy to let you kids off the leash as long as there's someone he trusts looking after you. And Volia, he sent me. I've no ties to any of The League so I won't jeopardise your secrecy but he trusts me enough to keep you lot safe so I'm in. Any questions?"

Post by Kory Anders - Starfire on Jun 21, 2013 8:25:34 GMT -5
There was a blast in New York. As happened on occasion, when one wished to play a bad guy or gal or a group. Sometimes questionably human, even remotely alive, but one couldn't be really shocked anymore. The titans manhandled and the young up coming were vastly rising in the training. Starfire was finding less and less time needed there, but still finding it hard to just completely hang up her titans cap. Maybe it would never really go away. It was something only a titan knew in they're heart. It always be something special. Plus there was some still need and guidance she could offer, but it was feeling near the end. Especially if the Outsiders was calling her and who was she really to refuse being on the team. Especially given the teammates. Although how Roy or Dick explained it was deridingly questionable. More a job and don't make friends whilst doing it. Less heart ache, but Kory thought it was more heart breaking going from a cold stand point. Though with her lengthy conversations with Victor Stone, it would be a bigger deal and it was time. Plus she would follow Dick Grayson and someone needed to look after the pair. Besides it wasn't like she could visit or one couldn't pick up a phone.
So after the battle and a couple moments with her fellow titans. Starfire made the trip back to Gotham. The sun was gone, but the fiery tamaranean was still very much alive. Flickering as you will. Like a shooting star through the night sky. A lengthy contrail that was her hair, but lit like fire. Sweeping, chasing and following her every little turn she made. Of course there was come part of the trip where there wasn't any buildings. Some trees, but Starfire was flying high above those. The air was thick and warm. Not icy cold which was nice. As the starfire suit covered her orange body. Least covered in places. Lifted for support. Contoured muscles, whilst exposing the rest of her well tone physique. Quite a little dewed with sweat from the previous battle. Dirt patches here and there. One on her thigh. No marks or if there had been, had closed or healed by now. After the calm ride through the whistling air, Starfire soon came into Gotham. Heading for the Docklands. The meeting of the new gang. She had to admit she was quite excited to get a little more hands on a team, than mentoring. Not that she didn't enjoy it, but this would be a little more. Plus whether it was to make friends or not, she had friends on the team. Not to mention more time with said lover in blue and black. Only of course she was technically dating his slightly more intriguing half. Starfire could assume she knew a little more on the 'meeting place' than they did. As sweeping in, seeing the weird gang circling in shadows. Pondering what the move was. Roy, well. He was already there. Kory gathered by his message. They just didn't know by the looks. Recognising them all, save one angelic gentleman. With a bag of some sugar made cookies, it felt like a thing to bring snacks too and one could be a little hungry after a battle.
"Greetings… Outsiders!"
Spoken broadly and kindly as the tamaranean princess walked from where ever it was she landed. With really no nerves. After all she knew 99% of the faces here and in any case open to new faces as well. As her piercing green eyes swept over Nightwing. Naturally it was hard not be drawn in. Wulfen, it was still cute seeing Vic in a wulf like suit. Even not been with him in battle as much, he was defiantly special. Potential for sure. Supergirl, the golden haired kryptonian or better known as Kara, as Kory kindly offered them all a friendly smile. She was still very much Koriand'r, but a little more grander in her hero attire. Coming stand closely by Nightwing. Hands gently on her hips, still with cookies in hand. Before running a orange hand through her fiery red locks, that extended down her back. Flickering closer to her thighs. Starfire was literally her own personal heating system. Even though this was meant to be unlike Titans and already it was. Meeting up in shadows in the dark with nothing but maybe a shady lamp post. This was already not they're style. It was really no point hiding, when you all stand out. This was low key, but there was a little titans feel. Mostly just because of the three involved. Though the kinda tall, angelic man was mostly unknown to her, but he looked nice. Not coming in on most of what he said, but not sure that be best chosen words to tell Arsenal. They were a little more than teenagers now and Starfire was mentoring some herself. Of course he wasn't here. As her eyes looked to Nightwing.
"He's kind of angel like… Pleasure to meet you, I'm Starfire. I hope I didn't keep everyone waiting. If there isn't anyone else we're waiting on… I do believe the leader is waiting for us…"
Starfire said smoothly leaning in towards Nightwing's ear, not exactly a whisper. As her eyes took in was it a trench coat? Kory looked to him a little look of curious wonder and a kind smile. Before politely reaching out a orange hand. Introducing herself to him. Starfire for now, but she was sure Koriand'r very soon. Before looking between them. Were most of them all here? Starfire didn't think she had been too late. She was here least in time. Not that she was intentionally trying to sound mysterious. More Roy had gotten her help in moving the heavy equipment in the new location. The team's base as you were. Which was defiantly less than homely, much to her offering to do the decorating, but it defiantly was more on the flash side… As noted the leader was not present, though possible they were standing above him. Starfire gave them a knowing smile, she wasn't much one for secrets, but she didn't mind helping with this kind of reveal. As she very much gave the hint of follow my lead. Not that she had desire to lead. Rule. Kory had been born princess. Heir. To be queen. Once upon a time she had very much felt it her destiny, but somewhere along the line. Starfire learned she never wanted to rule anybody. Save lives. Help. Be a Warrior. A hero. Most defiantly. She was the living star of hope.

"Starfire! I'm glad to see you. I thought I was going to be out numbered by the men at this meeting. Not that I can't handle them," Kara said half jokingly.
Sometimes it was nice not to be the only woman with a bunch of men. She wonders how Wonder Woman can put up with the top dogs of the League. Then again she was Wonder Woman. She had heard small things from her cousin Kal over the moments with the League. Nothing much though unless all in good fun. He could be just as up tight as Gargoyle of Gotham sometimes.
And not being able to handle them...she was Supergirl. And as far as she knew from these two they were humans. Slight DNA differences with the Wulfen fella. Possibly a meta of types.
Then another guy came into the room. Someone in a trench coat that reminded her of the Commissioner of this town. But it wasn't him.
"Yeah, I've got a question. Who the heck are you," Kara questioned.
She wasn't trying to come off as snarky or anything. Kara could be rather forward in her actions. Usually the act now and ask questions later. But to some of them, this question might be on their minds.
As some have come to notice, she wasn't all like her cousin. Her ways were still a bit more brutal at time with her temper. What do you expect from a teen with the powers of Superman? She could be just as tame at times, but she likes to know what was going on before she took any chances here with these people. She wasn't always so trusting. Especially knowing that old Grumpy Cowl carried around a piece of Kryptonite with him, not trusting her kind. But that makes two of them.

Wulfen nodded along as he listened to Nightwing talk about the team and what they were supposed to do. He wasn't so sure he was interested in being with this group, sure it was neat being in a pack, but not if he was expected to do things that the big fancy super whammy team refused to do. He'd at least stick around long enough to see what was the basis of this team, and if it wasn't his type of thing then he'd leave and keep secret all that he learned here. After all he had no reason to reveal any secrets about this group.
Wulfen noticed the man in the trench coat arrive and looked the man over. There was something off about this man. Then a sneeze forced its way out of Wulfen. Boy did this man smell like smoke.... Wow! Wulfen thought his uncle smoked abit, But this was absurd. But that wasn't what was off about him. He was about to open his mouth to ask who this man was before Supergirl asked the question, she was clearly more blunt then he would have been. But that didn't really matter in the long run he supposed. The question was still asked. "I've got a small question here too." Wulfen spoke up when he knew he wasn't going to interrupt anyone. "What are we going to do with the masks? I'm not sure if I feel comfortable taking my mask off having just met most of you. I've met Nightwing and Starfire, so I'd be willing to introduce myself to them. But the rest of you." He explained calmly and politely. "Also I'd like to know if this is where we're supposed to be meeting from now on? And how often we're supposed to meet for that matter?" He may have been long winded in his questioning. But he was raised by a lawman and worked as a teacher. So it wasn't too out of place for him to do so.

Where was the boss? That would be the most alarming question at this point… Although it was understandable if they had expected the man in black and blue, but sadly no… Not quite. Merely the recruiter. Oh no. Nightwing was much more than that. Right hand man! Seemed suiting, not that Arsenal was smiling behind his flickering eyes. Occupied by the many screens before him. Not overload, but perfect amount that allowed easy over view of the streets… Particularly in the very low, low streets. Everyone seemed to have the waiting game. What if you made your mark before the target could even strike? It was bound to maybe a little crack worth to begin with, but with intense training. Hopefully with minds on task, it would follow into line… His red boots rested mildly upon the bench at the computer screens. Deep within the head quarters a little below the ground, possibly below sea level. It certainly wasn't flashy in its decked out way, but it certainly had the equipment that they needed, advanced technology, which no one ever needed to know exactly where it all came from. Shhh! Much as Arsenal's arrows. It was all for a good cause and well, he certainly hooked it all up. He was much better at tech than one probably imagined, but you know after handling Tamaranean technology. You learn a few new tricks. Nightwing of course probably helped. Jokes a side, he was a good addition to the team. Even though the fact Nightwing wasn't leader, Arsenal had to question how easy holding back that instinct would go, he was his buddy, but this team was less about making friends… Titans was unique, special. Family, but irreplaceable. They had been kids, teens and grown up along side each other. Outsiders was a little higher up from that, but they were no JLA.
Swinging off his chair, as the lingering group outside the bunker on the screen, was lets say less than really making a move for it. They really didn't have all night to, stand. Trade little banter about the weather… His eyes behind his red masks squarely mildly upon the man in the folly coat. Grandpa! Shaking his head. He wasn't about to let someone just wander in and start grounding them. Even less that impressed if Batman did know so heavily about what was going on with the new group. Arsenal was a man of mystery, well. More a man of red, but no this was taking a way the entire point in putting this team together. This wasn't about there being ties really to anybody, why start making them… At least one of the Outsiders knew what was up. With a smirk with the brightness appeared on the screen in all her royal colours… There was some need for heavy lifting and well, she was harder to keep secrets from, especially when you lived under her roof. Well, he probably be in a gutter if it wasn't for that hospitality. Somehow this team seemed ill fitted for her, but he really didn't need to look far to know why. Arsenal soon turned completely from the screens. The going ons. Coming to the decent sized table and chairs. There was training space, exceptionally well sized nearby. There wasn't however any lounging area or kitchen. A simple station for beverages, particularly good for late stake out nights to keep the eyes open, but this wasn't home. This was base. This was not comedy hour. No picnic… Not to try and downplay it still was wicked cool… With nearing one of the entrances. Yes, it was possible there were a few. Those were best unrevealed, best for popping out unexpected down the track. Pressing the flash buttons. With elevation. Arsenal reached the ground level. Exiting in style from the least appealing entrance, the door shut behind. The seemingly hidden bomb shelter, just really didn't stand out… They were Outsiders no doubt…
"I thought I said no Angels?"
Running along the comment Starfire had made as Arsenal appeared in the circle of Outsiders. A red gloved hand upon Nightwing's shoulder and eye brow raised. With some stern tone in his voice, sure playing on it, but Nightwing had to know. There was no way in hell, he was going to let this man through. Not that Arsenal was gonna buff out his chest and start beating upon it. No, but he was leader for a reason. He wasn't about to let someone else bark orders at him and not his teammates. Not to of course come across entirely unwelcoming. Everyone else… Would work wonderfully.
"I guess now is as good as any for the introduction… I am Arsenal. I will be leading the Outsiders… Whilst Nightwing was enlisted to recruit. He does not have finale sway and I do not take kindly to people appearing out of thin air… Unless you're Starfire or Supergirl… I'm sure you know where this is going, Constantine. Best of luck on your future endeavours, but please hit the road… For the rest of you, welcome to the team! Come, let me show you to our station… Which I'm sure you all have sworn not to go tattling about?"
There was an elusive smile on the archer's lips, not fully exposing, but certainly welcoming enough. There was no real rule book, they were making they're own rules more or less. Making eye contact with each. Starfire, Supergirl, wulfen and of course finally the diamond in the rough… Not that in his words putting this on Nightwing, but basically whether Nightwing had recruited Constantine or rather just appeared on his own. Which with a glance as Nightwing, Arsenal was more than sure he had little to do with this. There was a reason Nightwing was recruiting, trust for one. Knowing his brother well, neither one needed nor wanted a angel not their shoulders… Of course smiling in mentioning Starfire and Supergirl, much more pleasant surprises out of the sky. Not that Arsenal wanted to be harsh. Rude, but to the point. Ok, saying no probably be more simple, but hopefully got the hint… Well, less hope, because there was no chance he was getting access to the head quarters. Whether or not he had ties to a league or not. How he knew it was Constantine, was a question best answered another time… Before turning more upbeat enough to give the ok to the rest of the recruits… With hands expressed and turned, to start moving and show them to the head quarters. Looking over his shoulder with his elusive question, but mild, given he wouldn't kill them if they did… Slowing his pace as his ears had picked up the alluming questions of Wulfen, he assumed from the description. He was also the only other male apart from Nightwing, Arsenal was expecting…
"Wulfen, buddy! Best to keep you're mask on. Think of this more as business. Keeping you're personal life separate. Long as you're switched on when we're doing our thing, thats what is expected… As far as place to meet. I will show you… Once inside. We'll be able to answer you're questions and more. Though you can expect most nights, otherwise there most likely be some sort of alert system in place, but no doubt someone will always be watching."
Motioned a light arm around his shoulder. Not in a huge embrace, just typical gesture, to ease him in, which being easy on them, probably wouldn't be entirely often least not on the field. Like Arsenal said, personal life keep it separate. Not that he didn't care, just didn't need to be discussed in this team. Not that he would stop someone from taking their mask off if they wanted to, but it really was just unnecessary. Hopefully leading them closer and closer to the hidden bomb shelter. Possibly from a past war, Arsenal wasn't the history buff and not did he care to give a great lesson on it. It was Outsiders territory now, even if Gotham didn't even know about it. As far as how often, he couldn't be totally exact on. Most nights, whether on rotation or not, but no doubt there be watchful eyes. Suggestion more or less his own… Leading them into the small space through a hidden door. Once closed. It really wasn't much, until secretly hitting a button. With the cool security scan and the elusive access granted came. The floor dropped deep into the bomb shelter. Right into the heart of the Outsiders head quarters. Time for the first meeting…

Nightwing wasn't given much of a chance to address the mystery man as the whole team started questioning things. Not to mention Supergirl's straight forward question that was blunt and to the point.
He took note of everyone's reaction to everything that night. That was something he practiced often. It was a key in the Bat-family to know everyone and everything. The actions and reactions to follow.
And he could tell, right off the bat that Supergirl was quite the opposite of Clark....Superman. Where the man of steel was calmer and kinder in his approach to situations, Supergirl was every forward and not afraid to cut to the chase. Not to mention some attitude behind that tone. She was the youngest of them all. So some was to be expected from one her age. But something they would have to watch.
And Wulfen seemed unsure of this all. New vigilantes he was dealing with and most more powerfully than himself. And with more experience. Nightwing had wished he could have gotten some more veteran members in their field like Roy, Star, and himself. But they had to start from some where.
As for Starfire, he knew her well enough. And Roy as well. But being under the same roof as them often enough was going to be pushing it now with being on the same team. Not that he had made mention of it. But it might have been slightly noticeable to Kory of his disappearances during the day, digging more into his day work. Possibly even to Roy. Sometimes even leaving earlier in the mornings for work than needed for someone like him.
To get back to the point, the new man may have known him, but was not welcomed. He didn't need Batman watching their back. He had just escaped that not too long ago.
Nightwing was about to speak his mind over the matter before, a hand lay on his shoulder and spoke it for him. Roy was already taking charge, and saying it for him. Nightwing shot a stern look back at Arsenal.
A signal that he had not inquired for this man to keep an eye on them, but knew him. As well as a look to say he would have had it under control. Already a challenge against Arsenal's command. A minor one at that, but one enough to say that he may be set at second in command, but he wasn't just going to sit there.
Arsenal took full control of the situation. Leaving Nightwing to stand with his arms crossed waiting for the travel to the bunker. Not that he was trying to give off the impression that this all was boring him....But this was a new situation for a change. Him being the one to sit back and someone else in charge. He'd hold his tongue for the time being. There was no need for arguments over what was being said. And rightfully so. It was just the general information to the group.
Nightwing followed the group, not far off from Arsenal's left side. The team following closely behind.
"Hope the security system wasn't to complex for you," Nightwing challenged.
Ok, that remark was not necessary. Though it was better than his stern silent treatment like he was giving earlier. Nightwing being silent and arms crossed was usually a sign of his discontent over the situation. Maybe how it was handled or someone stepping on his toes.
At least the comment was relevant to their situation seeing as everyone in there would need to be able to access it.

It didn't feel odd. Not out of place entirely. Team work, it certainly wasn't new, especially with the certain man of wonder. With the smooth casual smile and glimmer behind her eyes. How often had she seen him in all his glory… She could blush, though she wasn't meaning that glory not now, although maybe a little now. No, later… Meaning more the glory in him taking lead, even though she knew. He knew, someone else was in charge. Which was a change, she knew wasn't going to be easy for him. But, working together was certainly not going to be a problem. Kory smiled comfortably as the group now mingling in much of darkness, it certainly wasn't the most flash of places. Defiantly no Titans Tower, unless it was well hidden. No… This was the docklands. Dark and dank was expected. The rackety sounds of water beating against boats echoed. Supergirl's sweet and delightful voice cut in. Starfire had certainly come to feel a warm spot for the young kryptonian and her cool, calm sense of humour certainly made the tamaranean smile. Offering a friendly hug. It would be unlike Kory not too.
"It's wonderful to see you too, Supergirl… Oh, we'll keep the testosterone level in check, not to worry."
Supergirl was young, but she was bright. Kind. Strong. Stepping back besides Nightwing, with amusing raise to her brows. Kory jested that handling the males wasn't going to be too difficult. Wavering a look at Nightwing, knowingly. Least she had experience with Nightwing and Arsenal… Yeah, not to say that duo never collided… Wulfen, Vic. Well, only time could tell, but he seemed the real gentleman… Ironically the two ladies, were probably the powerhouse of the group, if they couldn't handle them. Who really could? With a simple laugh, fading of course with the strange man had appeared. Taking everyone off guard. Somehow she didn't imagine Dick knew about this recruit, but before Kory could lead the group to the head quarters. A familiar hand came at Nightwing's shoulder, his other side… Arsenal! Guessing he couldn't wait any longer and at his first remark about the angel. That was probably more than why and of course to make himself known to the Outsiders. Looking all flash in Red suit. Weapons. Weapons and with the gaze in his eyes. Kory was sure he was on target. He certainly could be blunt, but was cool. Calm about getting rid of the strange fellow. Kory knew his vocabulary, could be far more detailed if set off… Of course a sparkle in her eyes came as he mentioned Supergirl's and her own flying style… Eyes of course didn't fail to catch any dismay from Nightwing, as Arsenal had stepped in. There was a hint… Starfire also followed the group in toe to the new head quarters. On the left of Nightwing, naturally. As Arsenal answered Wulfen's questions... The hatch door wasn't far off, but it was well disguised on a slope, almost disappeared in with the rest of the ground. Inside the small space, it looked like an ordinary space. Nothing special. Once door was shut and the hidden switch, possibly some sort of fingerprint scan, a little more advanced technology, that needn't be eluding upon, but soon opened the body scan. Least reading three of them. Two needed to be added…
"I'm sure once inside, we'll be able to get more of a run down."
Kory's more positive and warming tone commented to the new teammates in response to Nightwing's comment. Least if she was correct as to where he was coming from. As the group huddled closely together in the small space before gaining the access. Eyes and a small smile coming to Nightwing. He didn't need to be so tense, the world wasn't out to get him, but the banter between the boys… She really could hope this wasn't telling of things to come. It defiantly wasn't going unnoticed Dick's disappearing acts or half the time, seemed he wasn't there at all. Was she worried? Sure, whether she wanted to or not, she had to give him space. That didn't mean she didn't enjoy when she did see him. A hand reached for a loose hair on his suit, letting it fall from her fingers. As the flooring shifted, it was half James Bond and half Harry Potter… Knowing Arsenal, there probably was a phone booth hooked up. Boys and their gadgets… Pretty impressive, with all things considered. Soon the inside the head quarters was before them. It was quite flash… Having come down here a few times, it still was something to take in… It seemed at first odd, lack of windows. No view, but it made sense. Keep it hidden. Following inside after rolling back a door, potentially of metal. It was a little more high tech inside, than what appeared from the outside. Table and chairs. Computers very much at work. Larger screens, in different positions around the room for broad access. Tv was available, though hardly anything than the news… There was unlikely ESPN on channel 3. Moving over to the tiny kitchentte, Kory flipped on the kettle and motioned for a plate to put the cookies on. Turning back to the group as the water boiled. Green eyes peered over at the screens.

"I'm counting on you then," Kara replied to Kory.
She looked at all the men in the room. All of which seemed to have no powers what so ever. Though Wulfen seemed to be a meta. She could tell by his genetic system. Kara was quite intrusive at times. This was something Kal tried to teach her not to do. It was an invasion of someone's privacy.
It wasn't like she was doing something illegal. She had these powers and she used them to her benefit. And that was usually to help her get more information and a read on others she didn't always trust. It wasn't like reading minds, so that was why she didn't see the problem with it. But to someone like the Bat-family it seemed intrusive enough.
She blushed at Arsenal's comment about her and Kory. Another charmer? And she thought there would only be one in the group.
She sat back while the men bickered between each other. And it seemed like it was going to go on for a while.
"Can we just get on with the tour of the place," she groaned over the minor words between Nightwing and Arsenal.
She could see that these two were quite the pair. They seemed to have matching personalities of ying and yang. And they had the egos to spark flames between them.
"I can see we have our work cut out for us," Kara whispered to Kory as she followed.
She floated along for a while as they left the other man behind. They had no need for a baby sitter. She knew that feeling all too well. This was a chance to get away from that.
"Are those two always like this," she asked looked at Arsenal and Nightwing.
Kory had said about them growing up in the Titans together. Though the small words between them showed a power struggle already. Something she didn't know how it would fall out between the two. She had never worked with them. But she had heard quite a bit from both Starfire and Batgirl over Nightwing's methods of operation.
