The night wasn't quite at midnight, but it defiantly felt dark. It always did in Gotham. As the black knee length boots hit the outside pavement. The blaring music from the seedy night club was behind them. No this wasn't a date. This was more about target practise. Sometimes they were so stupid they were right for easy picking. It hadn't taken much other than a few turns of her head and half a wink. Just a slight notion she was interested, but of course half the attraction the possibility she might just bite. Who knows? What Zahira did know was he was leading them astray. For now. He was the tall dark. Rather brooding type. With charm and it had come on strong. Which was never a good sign. No. No. It had defiantly been on her scent. Her hands straightened her dark shades. They were enough to give her the cover she needed. Her hair was slick back in a high ponytail. Let's just say Gotham hadn't seen her yet. As her black boots made the general sound as they turned that corner. When it had been another, this was the no turning back now. As the next street became darker. The lights were growing more dim. As if she was completely out of tune to the sounds around them. She knew who exactly was trailing whom.
Her half black fingerless gloved hand slid in her jacket pocket. It was black and leather. Cut mid thigh length, with the blackness peaking from underneath. Her hand that was free was for now his. As he led the way. After all was this what she wanted. It was something along those lines this man had seemingly pulled. So there were some flaws in his charms. Eventually the darkness felt it had engulfed them, but it didn't shake her in her boots. An alley? How perfect. There was that slight hesitation from him, but there was no turning back now and she wasn't backing down. Her lips had faintly curled in a smile, but he didn't feeling the meaning behind it. He was too busy trying to grab her. Helped greatly as Zahira pulled him in. Her back seemingly against the wall. As his lips came to her collar bone and made up her neck. As her lips hovered. 3. 2. 1. As the voices came. So they did make it, is seemed. More the merrier apparently. There was little reason for the man to keep up the act. Where was a woman to run now?
Going with it for now as they circled around. Only space free led to the alley wall. Taking a step back and they met it. She felt the aggression building, didn't one know what happens when you corner a creature like her? At the words of 'Let's play a game', her senses ran up her arms. This was a case of the cat and the mouse, more snake and the mouse. Only who was the mouse? In her quicker movements back and going along with showing fear. The hand before came at her arm again, grabbing her. As if to try to coast her to play easy and fair. Only the second she felt the touch, she could feel her skin, like scales crawling and her instinct was to strike. Her hand reached for his arm twisting it as her other elbow struck across his jaw firmly with blow after blow after blow. Her smile grew to a smirk. As in a swift motion twisted his arm and flipped him. Still twisting until she heard the faint snap and his scream bellowed to her ears. Her sharp end of her boot came down to his ribs, with another faint pop. The smell of the fresh blood came to her scent. His death wouldn't be hers to take, but he was down where he deserved. As the pain of the ribs made it harder for him to scream. His moans echoed ever so slightly. It halted the group, but did not make them run. By tonight they will know fear. As Zahira stepped away from the body. Removed her glasses at this point. As she backed up again, but with sense she was claiming her space. As her senses were widened, Zahira knew this alley the moment she took a step in it. This was her playground. This was her fight.
"You wanted to play? Well come on, let's play, but we play by my rules."
Her words came sharp and direct from her tongue. There was defiant bite. As she was after all the one that set this game in motion. Motioning a hand to provoke them into the coming fight. Was she still just a woman in their eyes? Why were they hesitating? She stood, but not entirely without movement. As she was getting herself in the moment. Her stance as it were. It was strong and sent that faint chill. As her eyes peered through her dark lashes with the sharp intent and almost the hint of something a little more sinister than normal. Her targets were set. With the wall still behind, gave the impression they had the upper hand and maybe they believed that as well. Her growling hiss was very faint at her breath, if they didn't know now. Zahira was sure they would by the end, just whom they tried to trap. The Black Serpent. Filled with danger and fear, but in these rules none of them will be leaving on their terms.

A motorcycle had picked up the activity going on. Nightwing had been follow these two guys by tracker. Well at least one of them at the time. There was some underhanded dealing going down. And he would strike before it took place. Just another warning against those in his town and trying to mess with it.
The motorcycle had picked them up on the move though. Out of sort for the time that had been set for a meeting. Something was going on.
So, he took the chance to go after them. The motorcycle catching up as he had been on someone else's tail and had dealt with them. He found the tracker to an alley.
The motorcycle's lighting bouncing off the walls as he turned to face down the alley. Spotting the woman and a man in the alley. Another down on the ground as he pulled. He could tell a bit from what was going on. Nightwing didn't need to see what had happened to know what had gone on.
And Nightwing was going to play it both sides. He knew how to work it his way. So take down who he thought was the least interesting and get to know what was going on with the subject of interest.
Dick drove the motorcycle into the alley. Having to pull to a sudden stop as he whipped off the helmet and sprang forward to attack the other man still standing. Quickly managing to knock him off his feet with a few swings and a sweep kick.
He had take the bike for a test run as well. A basic model vs. his usual bike. But it needed work and this was the time he could get to run it through it's beginning paces.
Once the man was down. Nightwing stood before the woman. Keeping his composure over all this and taking in everything. Watching and taking in everything. He never stopped keeping his mind alert.
"Any problems here," he asked.

There was still the groans embedded, muttered close to where Serpent stood in her stance. As if ready to dance with the devils themselves, but really? There was barely any horns. They were just men, were they even that. It did not matter. What mattered was in stopping them… It prevented it being another woman in Serpent's place that may have been more victim. That was the point… With darkened eyes upon the challenging man. There was that hesitation. Or something upon seeing what had just happened to the other. Still it didn't make him run. There was after all a wall looming. Then as Serpent stood, with the faint sway of her body. In Preparation and awaiting the sight of movement. There came a sound… Movements of sorts. From behind the man. More. Could there possibly be more… Just more victims of her own. The vibrations the bike made, bellowed with rippled through the ground and up Serpent's feet. Felt the intense. Burning and hot engine. It was a beautiful heart beat, more so than that of who ever laid at her feet. Transfixed ever so silently upon the lights. As if slowly revealing its wonder. Like a light breaking through the darkness. It halted and soon the heart stopped..
Followed of course by a different kind. At first he was hidden, but Serpent knew well his distance. Simply by the faintest sounds of his feet. So much so it wasn't easy to pick up every one. Though there was defiantly a unique scent. No wolf. No Bat! Serpent smirked to herself, no but she now knew she had smelt it before. To the point Serpent could tell he had been to this city before. He wasn't someone new. He knew it well. Before the man that stood before her could realise. He was being attacked. Serpent's hands relaxed a little, she hadn't exactly intended this kind of play, but Serpent could easily adapt. As her eyes sharply watched as the masked man took the other off his feet. Leaving two limb bodies at her feet. Moving her head to the side. Was he the knight in dark tights? Just as Serpent as beginning to believe so from his words, Serpent could smell the other men approaching. Somewhere creeping behind him in the shadows. So what, he was the leader of the pack… "Now that he's out of the way, I suppose you want to play now? You should know better…" In response Serpent spoke low, but direct. Toyed within her tone.. Perhaps this man down was just a decoy. Which ever. Serpent wasn't going to so easy hand over her trust… Not when as Serpent proposed the initial beginning of the possible challenge. The group of men behind him were approaching closer. There was even a hint of a smile. As if Serpent wasn't at all bothered by this. Though she began creeping back. Back towards the brick wall and the faint shadows cast there.
Creeping back with her eyes still glared darkly upon him. Tracking. Alert. The snake retreated into towards its environment. With a gently sway of her body. Her eyes hooked mildly at his own. Through the mask. He was still a man, no matter the disguise. With a gently transfixed motion between the eye contact, he shouldn't be too hard to manoeuvre? "It's not going to matter how many…" Serpent then added from her few feet back. Shortly after Serpent felt the chilled stone of brick at her back. Her dark skinned fingers, half gloved worked down along her buttons. Loosening them. Until the opening of her leather jacket came and Serpent slipped it to the ground at the wall above. Revealing the mid thigh length black leather skirt and the black top that wrapped around her bust. Cut short before her torso. Eyeing the masked man, questioning and watching for what movements he was going to take. Was he really aware? Serpent thought as she turned to reach up a hand at the looming dark wall. Before sliding up her other arm. Adding a leg, before finally she wasn't touching the ground anymore. As if slighting up the side like a snake. Slowly she moved up. With a darkened smile. Hearing the approaching sounds. As Serpent stopped at a decent enough level on the wall. Turning to face the masked man. As if sitting upon the wall, but horizontal with the floor. As Serpent glared with her darkened eyes. In position high enough she could have some advantage. With a toying smile towards him. Serpent reached out a hand. Challenging him. Motioning her finger as if to say 'come here', but that may be difficult if he knew better.

"Well that's one way to say thanks," Nightwing said as he crossed his arms and looked at her.
Not that he expected a thanks any ways. He didn't even know her. And by the way she was acting, she was being cautious over trusting him at all.
Of course, she had all reason to act the way she was, They didn't know each other. And Dick didn't trust her either. But this interaction was rather amusing to him. And he wanted to see where this would lead. At least as far as finding out more about this woman's work. There had to be more to her than just being cornered in an alley and happening to be able to take out two big guys like them. She had had them knocked out cold.
And for her words, she seemed to be challenging him. He could hear the others coming in. Not knowing who they were or what gang at the moment. But he could sense their presents.
But what the woman did next caught his attention. And there was the little detail of her changing down to another outfit. Well at least taking off a layer. And what he saw...well it did catch a little of his attention. But hey...she looked good. Who wouldn't take a notice?
Then it was the going up the wall...now that was odd. Ok, she was a meta. And now she was challenging him.
Nightwing gave a slight smirk over her actions. But the thugs were coming up. And Nightwing knew it. Turning quickly, throwing several wingdings at them. Then going after them. charging into the fight. His escrima sticks out and turning sharp to hit the first person in view.

There needed to be a reason for gratitude… Alas Serpent was failing to see it. As the smirk broadened on her lips in response, the look of amusement as he crossed his arms and the look of pride. As she waved a finger to him as if he was the naughty one. Though judgement was yet to be really seen. He was a man in black and blue, unknowing what alley he had really stumbled upon. It was a matter of what side he was on, but like all men he could lie. Serpent wouldn't be fooled again. She couldn't allow it, as she showed the faint look of doubt. Serpent was stronger now. She was a warm heart wrapped up in cold blood, it was easy for people to look past the fact she was still just a girl. It was easier to give them what they wanted. She could feel his attention upon her. Revealing her skin underneath. It revealed much more it seemed. His weakness? Serpent bellowed out a soft humming laugh. It was easier simply by the change of his scent, so subtle, but enough she could grasp the concept. Prepared however he wished to play with her as she had found her position on the cold wall. Revealing clearly she was more than just a woman that took a wrong turn. Her eyes danced with his behind his mask, remaining shortly there as the thugs approached her dark eyes trailed his contours as he had turned… What woman wouldn't take notice?
Shifting in her position slightly as he attacked them. Little metal pieces flew through the air and soon he charged them head on. He wasn't one of them… Was he someone like her? Now there's a concept. Her smirked partially turned to a smile, but soon a more toying one. As one of the thugs had found his way below her. "Hello, Hon!" Serpent toyed with a wave of her hand. With his back to her and his guns pointed at her newly winged fella. The thug blinked up at her as he turned to see the creature staring down at him. Fiddled with the gun at her, Serpent frowned faintly. "Oh, am I out of reach? Allow me to come to your level!" Serpent played upon her words to him. Almost a mocking softness in her tone, before Serpent with her agility leaped from the wall as if lost in the shadows and she appeared with ease behind him. Rising from her crouch, she tilted her head as her hair fell down her face and smiled as he turned. As if she was the dumb one as his gun drew. Her smile had as quickly died and her hand motioned a hold of his head. Driving him into the wall with enough force to unleash the damage to his skull. He slid to the ground. Then there came a grab at her hair by another and it had hauled her back stumbling upon her feet a few paces. With that laugh at her ear. The sickening kind. His voice. 'You should know your place.' Fingers lingered to the base of her throat. "Let me guess... Its on my knees." Serpent half rolled her eyes as she spoke as if she was shocked, but he simply laughed. As he drew her in closer. There came her growling hiss from her lips. Waiting for that time the creature could strike.

Nightwing gave little attention to the now known meta. He had a hunch he could figure out a bit of this scene now. But even with a hunch, he couldn't call it case closed.
Even with his actions against the other men, she wasn't out of sight. It was something Nightwing was known for. He could observe when it seemed he wasn't paying the least bit of attention.
She wouldn't have noticed that he saw her slam that man into the wall. And he kept in mind she was trouble over that division when it came to fighting. She wasn't afraid to cross that line. Not exactly someone he would join up with in a normal fight. But he hadn't exactly expected a meta to be the one on the run.
It took little effort for Nightwing to bring down the three men he had gone up against. They weren't nearly as fast as he was or skilled. And Nightwing was deadly with the escrima sticks in hand. But he knew how to use them proper for his line of work.
As soon as he had gotten the other three out of his way for the time being, he caught attention to the fact that one man was holding the meta close. Before any action could be done, Nightwing threw his escrima stick at a force to knock the man out, but not kill him. Nightwing would not cross that line.

The situation was that the pretty boy in black and blue stumbled upon a trap… It wasn't complete smoke and mirrors. The hunch upon his crafty shoulders was expected, but whether or not it truly rattled his brain… Was yet to be portrayed… Especially if he was trying to wrap her in a bow in his mind, but distracted? That he wasn't. Wasn't he the clever bird? In a world like this, at night… One needed to be switched on in more ways than one. Know your environment… Where you lacked, you could gain elsewhere. Just like she had proven with the man nearly spilling his brain on the wall… Although that wasn't really the hard gain here… That was more simple tactic and well, poor sportsmanship on his part. Least he fell accordantly. She wasn't going to sugar coat it. She was dangerous, but the man wasn't dead. She certainly had the ability to, it was wise to keep the threat, but Serpent knew her limits. Of course the instinct was sometimes over bearing, but one always needed something for them to over come. Life wasn't so easy. It wasn't all roses and butterflies. It had thorns and beauty would always die. Whether her tactics. Her style was not up to part, it worked for her.
Which of course at this tiny the hand foolishly came at her throat. Dark gloved at her dark skin. Poetry in motion. As her dark eyes looked through her darker lashes, with almost a proud look. Slightly tighter and her skin didn't change a lot in colour. Biding her time. Naturally. Speed and patience. Was hard for some to balance. A question… Why does one go to the throat? Leaving arms. Legs alone. One against four… Seemed a poor bet. Just at the mere second of using his chest as a foot rest, magical sticks came out of the darkness behind…. Such beauty. Such craft. Smile broaden, good aim… Serpent wouldn't be on to exactly ask for it, but she wasn't one to complain about aid. The hands left her throat as the man stumbled back. Possibly looking if there were any stars falling from the sky. Serpent certainly felt more of her comfort back, but her smile soon evaporated into a more snarl of her lips. Releasing her fangs as her eyes danced at the rhythmic way the man stumbled in the daze. This was not hard defeat. Not a great launch. As with the sharp swift movement. Her fangs sank into the base of his neck. Injecting the venom. There wasn't the need to inject much. The man was already heading in that direction… Thanks to her new friend. As like the previous man she bit. He fell limb to the floor. He wasn't dead, but one could believe he was. Her venom had funny way in settling the pulse control. Not to mention the blood flow. To unknowing, he was dead.
Of course. In that instinct. Another raises a challenge. As her eyes shot and targeted the approaching man. Dark look with a dark smile. "Come on, baby!" Sharply pierced from her tongue. He didn't backdown. Brilliant. As his attack came. She blocked it. Twisting down and around as he aimed her head. Blocking the next attack, with her elbow soon following and a grab that was aiming to put her in some tremendous lock or hold. Serpent used it for leverage and flipped him over her shoulder. It was with more the correct balance than just shear strength that allowed her to do that. Giving her extra ground as she stalked him in her mantis stance. Her body flowed in a hypnotic rhythm. Keeping to every instinct and keeping her on point. On Target. Just as the wise logic caused him to pull his gun upon her. Her snarl upon her lips as with a swirling kick at his feet. Bringing him to his knees. In the time taking advantage of taking a good hold of his arm. Twisting it at its socket. The gun fell, but she hadn't exactly ceased. As the man winced in the agony. With the dark chuckle from her lips. With the arm twisted, Serpent did a sharp pull up and down, before it was realised. He was a little more subdued now, not enough for Serpent. She didn't do things on maybes. Dragging a nail casually across his cheek. The fear was trickling out… If you come out to terrorise the city. Its women. You desires a little terror… His eyes hang on to her fangs now. His pulse was already quickening. She could sooth that. Make it more comfortable. As Serpent soothed him with the stokes at his cheeks. Bringing his eyes to her own. Locking into her hypnotic stare. As the stillness grew. She could feel the hold getting stronger. "Shhh… Shhh." Serpent coached with such subtly from her tongue. With a smile and as her eyes stared into his. There was blackness in there and not the like the black of her clothes. With the simplest sway. His eyes followed suit. She did use toxins or anything unnatural. Her manipulation tactics were purely natural. "I'll make this easy for you!" Serpent spoke lowly. Confidently. There was only one thing left. With one sharp lift of her head and sank her fangs within his neck. He needed a little more than the previous. Serpent took the correct time. Feeling the pulse subsiding. Slowing. The skin tone would naturally grow a little paler. As Serpent's venom over took his system. Becoming more still by each injection. Feeling for it. As her eyes kept open. She did have the ability to keep going. To kill him. Just nearing the brink. Serpent withdrew from his neck. He again least looked dead. As Serpent's finger remained for a moment underneath his chin, before allowing his body to sink to the ground. With the faintest glimmer of the venom that coated her bottom lip. She was not without her way of justice as her eyes looked out for the next challenge. Were they all gone? Done for?

All or most of the men were out cold. But Dick knew possible a few dead. After seeing the last scene between the woman and the last of the thugs, he knew she was trouble.
He wasn't exactly sure what her meta powers were. But he had gotten a few glimpse. So it was time to change game plan. If she was in a full attack mode against them all, Dick was prepared.
That was what any good vigilante would be able to keep up with. Always staying one step ahead of their opponent. She seemed to be lost at the moment, looking for more to fight. Making sure all was clear.
Nightwing never trusted someone right off the bat. They have to earn his trust first. It was up to them to prove they were worth it. And there the list was getting shorter these days with how everyone was trying to get close knit.
Dick placed the escrima sticks back in their sleeves. A hard look in his eyes toward this woman killing the man that lay before her.
"It's not hard to tell these guys were looking for a good time," Dick replied.
He'd play both sides of the field. Give her the chance to come forward or to take this as a threat for an attack from him. He'd watch her body language to find out for sure.

They could come in singular or group. Serpent would find a way to bring them all down… Not exactly too their knees, but more or less. As her dark eyes with a very cold stare. across her collection of bodies. It was much all in a days work or night, generally. Emotions? They generally didn't run any higher than her cold stare. This maybe a way to play, but emotions had nothing to with it… Least not the Serpent side. Though a hint of a smile dis set, least out of the fact her trap has worked, but she wasn't one to celebrate. Nor did she seek Glory. She is what she is. Any bells and whistles were already there. There was no switching it off or switching to another game some where else in the city, not until it was over. Though, 'lost' wasn't exactly the word. Serpent knew her environment with all her senses, plus. She was the one that led them here, even if had seemed the other way around moments before. For the time being her fangs sucked back into her gums. The venom still filled much of her gums, from having been just released. In preparation. Maybe. Standing more standardly before the body behind. Half masked in shadows and darkness, but she was still visible. Of course more woman, but the creature was always on primal alert. Her sharp eyes scanned as if pin pointing a target. Movement.
Only to fall upon the man in black and blue…. The hero. Th knight in spandex? Well, least it looked like spandex. No swords, but he did have nice shiny sticks. Not that Serpent was in anyways wishing to mock him… Just observing. As soon his weapons were hidden, up his sleeves. Pretty much takes the pun out it. Though much was certain, even in the musk of his scent. He was not made simply with what he held in his hands. Just as Serpent wasn't pinned to just her strong bite. Neither woke up and became as certain in even their stance. Their movements. Though something could be said that something at some point added to them. Not that Serpent could so easily pin point it and neither did she overly care to know. Maybe, but in no great effort. Just as her snaky look stared upon him, cold. His eyes fell upon her… Oooh! Serpent defiantly felt something in that. Struck a nerve or she at least something. Because judgement was there. He was not the first to misunderstand her. Or maybe to a degree they were right, she was in no way up to fight someone on it. Nor did she care greatly to change someone's mind. They either change or they don't. How charming! Not to mention direct. As Serpent caught what the masked man had to say… Smart. How very smart. "It was… Until the tables got turned." Serpent responded in her dark, yet feminine voice. With the faintest now, before eye line trailed to the bodies now on the floor by her. Around him. What was he expecting, her to say he was wrong… He wasn't. Serpent knew… Has anyone turned the corner, would have had a good guess. Because naturally girls just go out hunting for boys to rape so often.
Serpent had stepped out of the shadows by this point. Although not entirely having the intention to just walk up and start shaking his hand. He may be for the good, but that just didn't account to everything and she wasn't in this game now. With the mindset to make friends. Of course same was said about enemies… She didn't quite see it, unless he made it his point to do so, but revenge was oddly weak. Not that Serpent didn't find small ways to inflict some revenge, just not entirely on her behalf and well it generally was in a minor amount of pain, but it wasn't as if it went undeserving. "What can I say… They had it coming!" Almost casually Serpent remarked as she drew yet closer, only to become to circle him a little. Not so much with intent, just the natural instinct. Expressing with her hand playfully, with a hint of amusement, with the tone 'it was an accident', but only because they both know it wasn't. Though her tone had become more truthful, because they did have it coming. Serpent wasn't cruel that she would target random men, there were gentlemen in this world. Serpent had the target set on the more jerks of the world. One that are more likely hurt women. Children. Even other men upon the occasions… In this setting. In this group, has she been what they wanted. It would have turned ugly for the poor girl. Who ever the girl or girls were, Serpent saved them. Even if it didn't seem like it. There were a lot in this world with not getting their voices heard, Serpent had to key to listen more closely. To strike when no one else would. "I would imagine you know what a good time is… Please, elaborate… On second thought, hold it." Simply Serpent called it out on him, there was no denying he was a full blown man underneath and within the stare he gave. Whether or not she saw his eyes. She knew he wasn't with his own desires for women, not that in his case Serpent was sure wasn't illegal, but well she stood by her statement. Though she couldn't gather he was entirely without fault. If he wanted to target her, she was right here.
Serpent then halted in her circling him. Catching the sound of footsteps. Running, or least trying to. "Oh no, I get to say when it is game over." Serpent darkly hissed out as if in a dash of her own shadows. Blocked one of the seemingly last thugs, trying to flee behind where the masked man had come to stand. Serpent's dark eyes stared him down and already fangs flashed out. With the mild echo of her growling hiss under her breath. The man stumbled back. Seemingly in fright. In this case, bringing fear was helpful. The man pleaded her to stop. No. To show mercy, though only with her cold look. The man then looked around. Called for help. Cried. Screamed. "You want mercy?" Serpent asked him in a slight knowing tone. She knew him more than he had gathered to knot her up until now. He nodded. Shaking. It was a strange flip. She pondered looking upon him. "Just like you were going to show me mercy or heaven's forbid those three blondes you were tailing… Oh, yes…" Serpent in a low tone responded putting the words on him. Not much else needed to be said. His eyes widen knowing what she said had been true. She may not have been there, but they had left somewhat of a trail. Was only a matter of time. The man turned, to flee the direction of the masked man. With ease, Serpent did a leg sweep. Tripping the man, who fell face first. Possibly breaking his nose, least he bellowed in some pain. His back motioned to get up. Serpent's with her black sharp heel, pressed down on his back. Causing his pleas to come from his lips. With a dark smirk. Before motioning down. Replacing her heel with her knee. Whilst her other knee was beside him. Her hands pulled at the back of his arms towards her. Bending him just enough off the ground, it hurt at where it strained at his back, but not so much so that she would break him in half. "I feel for your mother." Serpent seemingly toyed by his ear. Something spat out between his begs for mercy, in relation to possibly mistreatment, that she was quote a 'whore'. "There is no excuse… You either find a way to change or you'll find someone will make you." Serpent said coldly at the hiss of her tongue. Her teeth inches away. The man pleaded continually for his life. To not kill him. "You get what you deserve…" Serpent simply responded. Death, maybe not. Pain, more likely. As Serpent motioned, her fangs just at the skin of his neck. Ready to bite.
