Tables turned. As she could sense the shift...it was near a density shift as he paused ever so fleetingly, drawing her in with every shift she could nearly taste on the air. She was confused. Wasn't he suppose to be chasing her...not him..asking her questions on what he..wanted? That was a bit absurd. Nonetheless she let him draw close, their lips almost grazing eachother, before he turned and fled. Smiling as she watched him dip off the rooftop, she had to break into a grin with ease as he swooped through the sky.
"Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you...." She murmured, a claw looping the zipper on her catsuit and tugging it down, revealing the jewelled pendant. If he was going to chase her, it wasn't going to be purely for her good looks. Especially since she'd duped him once before. It was a shame she lost the satchel; it had been crafted of fine lambskin. Durable. But she barely kept anything in there that what she'd taken in the night. All Batman would find is a neatly scribbled note, and a 'love, Catwoman' at the end.
Chuckling lightly, she shook her head, thinking on how he had frozen. Was he that deeply enmeshed in justice that a mere woman not..fighting him, and bantering back and forth would throw him off his game? if so..she knew a way now to keep him on his toes.
Nonetheless, she took the edge of the building and swung down to the fire escape. She'd easily stashed a jacket, and a few other things which she could use. In this case, she easily removed her mask and cowl, and threw the taupe trenchcoat over her outfit. A simple transition, and she looked much like a socialite that had been out late in the city that never ends. Tugging her collar up, and shaking out her hair, Selina Kyle raised a hand to hail a cab, and head home.
