Tiffany was not a man for humor. He was blunt and straight to the point. Humor was used during a time of relaxation not during work. During work, it merely wasted time in the limited hours of the day. However, when Selina made the comment of Batman having a crush, the briefest and smallest of smiles appeared on his face. It was humorous, but also a very plausible possibility. Could they use this woman to capture the Batman? The Batman certainly wasn't their main concern at the moment, but he would have to be dealt with none the less.
"Protecting animals is quite a noble cause," he said going straight back into business, though not as noble as protecting a human life. Tiffany did have a soft spot for animals. It was similar to his soft spot for children. He loved dogs and horses. When he was younger, he rode every day and had a pet golden retriever named Lucky. Yes, animals were beautiful creatures that were punished by human sin. It was quite an unfair treatment.
He listened to her inform him about the encryption that needed to be unlocked. He was certain his men could work pass it, but again, it was an unnecessary waste of time if she was willing to unlock it herself. He nodded. "Yes, that would be greatly appreciated. Is there a particular computer is has to be read on, or will my office computer be able to handle it?" he asked straight forward. He had no problem leading her to his office. While she still rubbed him the wrong way, his absolute disgust had been nulled. He would have no qualms about moving the conversation to his office on the floors above, but if it needed a higher tech computer in the classified area, he would decline the offer. He certainly did not trust her in any classified area or any average civilian in Gotham. People with that much sin could easily be pulled into the darkness by the evil. He would not willingly give up information that could leak to the outside world.

Selina nodded politely to him when he mentioned the animals. But his preceding smile had sent a chill down her spine. Hopefully...he wasn't thinking to use the comment she said. Shit. Bait, for Batman? That could blow up in more ways than one. Luckily there were ways to get out of her building...beyond what his men would be aware of. And Liv would cover for her, easily. It's why she paid the woman good money.
Holding back as he mentioned moving to another computer, she smiled, nodding again. “Oh. Any computer can read the files, Agent Tiffany. I just need to walk you through a few steps,” Moving to put away her files, she turned to look back up at him, her body seeming to ease with the lack of formality. “To be honest, I'm glad it's in your hands, rather than being funnelled through several others, Agent. When I normally do business, I prefer direct contact. Thank you.” After the remainders of her own documents were placed away, she scooted her own chair back, and reached for her crutches.
As gracefully as possible she stood, waiting to follow him from the tiny, nondescript grey room and to his own office, crutching along through the staring glances of the other agents before finally making it to his office. Only after the door had been secured and he was seated, did she offer to walk him through the steps. As the small drive was inserted, a prompt would pop up, asking for his name.
“I...secured this information, with only a very limited user set, in case it got into the wrong hands,” she lied, a finger pointing to the box. “You were one of those included. Just type in your name.” Was her gentle instruction, then ushering him through the following steps while he then entered in a password, and then agreed to view the documents. That was it. The fence would be shut down. The computers would be futzed with temporarily as well. And no one would be the wiser, with how everything was implicated. There was the back door for Eddie, as well as Selina's little entrance piggybacked on that as well. Everything implemented, nothing traceable.
Standing from where she had been leaning on her crutches, she cleared her throat. “Is there anything else I can help with, Agent Tiffany?” she offered, shifting slightly as she stood. Not from the surge of success coursing through her veins; but because it was painful to stand for long periods of time with her injuries.
And now Eddie would have a debt to pay.

Tiffany listened to her instructions as she lead him through step after step. Nothing was out of the ordinary. As an FBI agent he was accustomed to secure and classified documents. When the files finally appeared, he carefully started glancing over them, observing everything. He took little notice to the woman who played along with sin too much for his liking. He would certainly set up protection, especially if he could use her to bait out the Batman, but she wasn't her primary focus. Silly muggings or revenge attacks were almost in the past of Gotham. Most all small time criminals had been captured. Tiffany's focus was on the demons in this town that dressed in strange costumes for attention. However, Tiffany would never let a citizen down, even a questionable citizen like this woman.
He nodded to her. "No, I believe that is all," he stated. He then reached to his phone and pressed a button to one of his administrator, "Someone please come and escort Miss. Kyle out." His finger then left the phone, and his focus went back to the screen. "We will solve this case as soon as possible, Miss. Kyle," he stated but did not look at her. As soon as the words left his mouth the alarm started going off. His eyes pulled from the computer up to the flashing light. He didn't even have time to question it because one of his men slammed open the door.
"Metahumans are fighting at Gotham University sir!" a small agent shouted.
Tiffany frowned immediately before standing up. "Get me Force," he said before pushing past Selina. He then stopped for a moment at the door. "Make sure someone shows her out," he stated finally. Metahumans...they were so rare in Gotham compared to other cities, but they could be dealt with as well. As he mentioned before, there were much bigger demons to handle compared to a simple mugging.
-----
Tiffany entered FBI headquarters overwhelmed. He hadn't personally been there for the Gotham University. In the middle of his drive, he was informed of an escape on the border by one car. He still did not understand how a car had managed to get pass the fence and the surveillance system. He was forced to follow in the car direction, but they had lost them on the highway. They spent the rest of the day questioning different surrounding cities in hopes to determine at lest who made such a risky move. For some reason, his contact with headquarters was shut off. It was the main reason he had come back early. What was going on today? It felt like the protective glove that he had on Gotham was being slowly pulled apart.
"Agent Tiff, you are finally here," an agent stated coldly as he entered.
"Yes, I will dealing with the border breach. What has happened to communications?" he asked as he followed his man to their main elevator.
"It happened 5.3 hours ago, but our server has been breached by an outside force," the brunette agent stated as the elevator brought them down.
Tiffany's frowned deepened. He had figured at much. "How did they get into the server?" Tiffany asked. The government had constantly been expanding on cyber security. It should not be so simple.
"We're not sure how, sir, but we know who," the man said as the elevator opened to one of the many basement floors. Tiffany followed him to the main computer room.
Tiffany's brows furrowed. "How do we know who, but not have any idea how. Did we trace the location?" he asked just as the man stopped outside the door to the main computer area.
The other agent shook he head. "No, we cant' trace it," he stated, "But....you have to see this to understand." The agent opened the door.
Tiffany was flooded with green light and squinted for a moment.
"Hello Agent Tiffany, I have heard you have decided to make my humble city your home for the time being without introducing yourself to the host," a high pitched voice echoed in the room. Tiffany blinked and an image of a man wearing a green bowler, suit, and purple tie came into view. He was rolling some type of candy in his hand. "I knew the government was full of ignorant puppets, but I thought they at least taught their puppets manners," the man continued with a smirk as he leaned into the chair. "As I am certain you have determined by now, at least I hope you have determined if you had even a shred of intellect, is that the current upheaval of your day was by my doing. I did warn you it would occur, but I can not be surprise that you could not solve a simple riddle. Quite pathetic," the man said with a sigh. The man then stared at the camera for a moment with a taunting expression. The lollipop continued to roll in his fingers, "It's quite fine though. I will give you another chance to prove yourself. Riddle me this," he threw his hands in the air dramatically, "A Rabbit hops into the water to play with the Rooster. He didn't realize the water belonged to the Rat. The Rat ran to the Tiger and Dragon to share his concern, but knew both would laugh. The Dragon, Tiger, Rabbit, and Rooster are dead. The Rat gets his water back. How does the Rat accomplish this without going to Walmart? I will give you a clue, it has something to do with the Goat." The Riddler began chuckling to himself before bring the lollipop to his lips. "Good luck Feds, let's see if the mice actually possess enough intellectual stigma to play with the cat." He plopped the candy in his mouth then the screen went completely blank except for a question mark.
Tiffany stood there, his hand in a fist.
"It's been repeating every ten minutes since the virus attacked," the agent who had lead him here told him.
The Riddler must have escaped and used the metahumans as a distraction. Despicable man. God had given him brilliance, and he shunned him. He was tainted. If he had more forces he could send men after him, but he was still under a budget crunch. "I want everyone focusing on the riddle, and someone needs to get me the Director on the phone. He has to be warn that one of these things escaped," Tiffany stated as he headed to his FBI analyst.
Deep breaths. One escaped, but you still had three in lock up.
