Selina hated being encumbered. She couldn't be as free as she wanted. It was like calling a cat, or demanding they do this, or that. Even with her arm encased in plaster, well, she wasn't too happy. But if it meant later down the road she could do what she please, she could attempt to suck it up for a while. There was always an excuse to be had when there was money.
She nodded when she heard his response. There really had never been a time when the Bat family had sustained wounds at her hand. Or vehicle. Well, Batman had sustained a few scratches, but he willingly had engaged her. When Dick, in that skin-tight blue outfit tried to joke with her, she just stared at him. It was like Batman cracking a smile; not natural.
"I know too much? Shit. You know who I am, and can go tell either your father, or Batman. It's vis a vis, kid. You tell, and your fun is gone. I tell...and you would be dead. I'm not trying...to threaten, but Eddie and Ozzie may deserve being locked in jail, but hell, the Tuesday nights at the Iceberg involve a LOT of cash, and bets on who are behind those masks." Selina paused, hoping she wasn't being too haughty. Cracking a bit of a smile, she shrugged, trying not to shift her arm. "And if I tell, you tell, and we're both outed, and dead. I already get enough shit for tangoing with Batman. Even...you know...he's something else."
Selina then snapped her mouth shut, tilting her head back. To say she had a crush on the man was not even hitting it. It was an ongoing thing with them. Push and pull. Get one step forward, then 8 back. Head tilted back, she started talking again,"I know he's a good man, beneath all that. I'm not exactly a bad person, either. Hell, I donate to a lot of the same circles that the others do. I just....can't be so black and white."

He continued to wrap her arm carefully, trying not to cause more pain as he wrapped it tightly. He just wanted to make sure it was supporting her arm to help it heal correctly. "Ha, you really think I'm going to go running back to the Bat to tell him who you are," he said half jokingly. "You known I'd be in just as much trouble as I might be with the Riddler. If he finds out that I was outed the way I was, I don't think I would really want to think about it." He was more serious about the last part.
Bruce had trust issue and he knew that. It wasn't everyone who knew who the Batman was. And Dick wasn't about to let up on it. He had already caused enough problems for Bruce, he didn't want to be the one that caused his identity getting out.
He listened to her go on as he continued to wrap the bandage around her arm. "He's something all right," he said sarcastically. He gave a hint of a smirk knowing where she was headed with this. Dick had long ago seen the way the Batman and Catwoman acted around each other.
"As for the how black and white scene...Why do you think I try to slip out of those parties as soon as they start. At least you have a choice to go to those. I have to be there as long as they are running. How would that look if Bruce Wayne's ward just walked out of one of the charity events, blowing off the how charity thing," Dick commented. "That's not to say I haven't missed a few here and there, who doesn't. I can't really stand being stuck in those at times." He spoke truthfully over the how issue. He tightened the wrap on her arm and used two clips to hold the end down.
"There that should hold," he commented when he had finished. He looked back up at her again. "Don't think I haven't noticed the way you two act around each other at time," Dick continued on about how her and Batman had this little dance between them.

She snorted, trying not to move. Tilting her head to look at him, she smirked a bit. "I know, but the dresses, the hair, the makeup, drinking, throwing around money like that, it's so much fun she said flatly. "I hate it. But I have to keep up the appearance, you know? I run my own business outside of the whole....night life thing. And trust me. I've been out with Bruce Wayne. As have most of Gotham's elite. He's dull. I don't get it. I left the date, it was that bad. Even though...shit." She paused, her eyes going wide if she were imagining something.
"The Wayne mansion would be something to look at. No...not to steal. I know what you're thinking. But...the art. You've probably seen most of it. I've just...heard the tomes and pieces of work that are within those walls..." She closed her eyes, nearly returning to the room, instead of day-dreaming. "Sorry about that. Art major." She knew she shouldn't be just chit-chatting with him, but hell.
Her fingers pressed against his work, and she nodded. "Yeah. But I doubt Batman is going to be asking out a thief anytime soon. It's ...difficult, Dick. I can't...exactly just go out and date. Well, I can...but...not Him."
Selina pointed to his tray of goodies. "You have any salve there? I know my face is sort of hacked up. And, my thigh." She said plainly. There was no way she would be able to be that close to Batman. They fought and bantered like any other two people...but...she sighed. It was different.

He listened to her got on and then look at the work he had done on her arm. "I should know the place. I've lived there long enough," he commented. Dick was a bit surprised that she was going into this detail with him. It felt so strange talking with the woman he and the Bat had chased down many times before. And now here she was talking with him.
When she said the Bat not going to asks a thief out anytime soon, he couldn't help but hold back a laugh. He understood what she was going on about. He would find it odd for the Bat to go and do that. Though he was sure others would have found it weird that Dick had gone out with an alien before. Not only and alien, but a princess at that. He wasn't about to go into anything about his work with the titans or any relationships.
He looked over at the tray when she asked about something on it. "Yeah, help yourself to what ever else you need," he replied. He went over and grabbed the tray. Dick set it beside her on the medical table so she wouldn't have to get up.
It felt so awkward having her in the room. She was a beautiful woman, but Dick was constantly reminded of who this was sitting there. He walked a bit away to give her space.

A rather beautiful women in a make-shift sheet dress, to be exact. As he brought over the tray she automatically went to reach with her left hand, sighing as she used her right hand instead to grab the small tube. Looking up at him for a second she shifted the sheet away from her leg, showing several nasty gashes from the road, and slathered on some of the antibiotic ointment. She repeated this where she had lacerations, her fingertips feeling out the spots on her face that hurt before she applied the stuff.
Setting the tube back down, she shrugged, letting her leg dry before moving the sheet back down. "I just...thank you for this. It's...going to be interesting when we meet again, which..may not be for a while, well, considering. I don't have Batman's sort of toys to help stabilize my arm for now. But....I guess it's not going to be that hard to get ahold of me. Just...send me the name of a company, and I'll make a donation. Would that be, well, a proper thank you?"
Green eyes looked up at him tentatively. He had Selina Kyle, Catwoman, wounded in his own home. "Or...if you can think of something else, let me know...I can't stop what I do at night...but...I can reign things back a bit. Or..." She was rambling a bit. "Or...if you ever need info from the other side....I could possibly let a few things slide." It was the least she could do, considering he hadn't turned her in, and had fixed her up.

"Money is not necessary," Dick replied holding up his hand and shaking his head. He didn't want any form of payment for what he had done. He was just helping someone out who needed the help. Dick would not be able to live with himself if he had turned her over to the FBI.
The police were one thing, but the FBI were another. Their treatment for criminals were probably more severe than just getting sent to jail and serving a sentence. Dick was only doing what he felt was right when it came to them getting into the accident they had on the motorcycle.
"Though I might take you up on your offer for possible information sometime in the near further," he said. It never hurt to have someone you could get information from. Especially in the city of Gotham. He looked back over at her. "Is there anything else you need treatment for, or are you alright," he asked on last time to make sure there was nothing else he would need to get for her if she had any other injuries.

Selina shook her head. "I just need to throw my gear into a bag, slip on my boots, and grab a cab. I can go see the doc tomorrow. You know how that goes." She raised a brow at him refusing the monetary gift. She would still do it, but...without his permission. Not that she needed that in the first place, but whatever.
"Just...get ahold of me. Either at night...or hell, we run in enough of the same cirlces, give me a call on my cell phone." She shrugged, tugging on one boot, then the next. She was rocking a sort of toga-biker look, but it was better than 'ran over cat' motif she could be doing.
Easing herself off the bed, Selina smirked up at Dick. "Thank you for this. I won't forget it. And I'm not saying I owe you...but feel free to call in a favor." Grabbing her tattered suit, she stood there a bit awkwardly, wondering if she was going to have to walk through his entire place to get down to the lobby for a cab.

"Yeah," he replied to the whole injury thing. He had done that a few times. But in the past, the Bat-family had their own doctor to take care of them who knew who they were. That's not to Alfred didn't do a nice patch job, but some injuries could be more serious than others.
Dick looked over at her as she started to put her boots back on. "Same," he replied. He wasn't much for words at the moment on giving out his number, but it would help if something were to ever had. It never hurt to have contacts.
As she got off the medical bed, Dick thought about something. "Are you really going to do out there like that," he commented. The Catwoman suit under her arm might get some questioning if someone were to see though folded up.
"I mean you could barrow a hoodie or something and a pair of jeans," he finished what he had meant to say. He was sure he could find a pair of jeans that belonged to Babs that had been sitting in the laundry that had already been clean. He wasn't exactly thrilled over the idea, but Babs probably wouldn't one pair of jeans disappearing.
Dick didn't want to just leave Selina to walk out of the building the way she was dressed. That would catch more eyes than if she was to have something a little more suitable for going out on the streets. He made the offer in case she wanted to take it up.

What? The look she was rocking wasn't cutting it? She looked at him for a few seconds before stammering out, "Um. Sure. That would be great. You have a bag I could shove this stuff in, possibly?" Standing there dumbly, a thought came to mind. Her own bag. That was one thing she couldn't leave here. Scanning around the room while he went to grab a few things, she finally saw the discarded black leather satchel.
Limping over to it she grabbed it, checking it over to ensure no rips, or anything missing. Thankfully the sturdy leather had no lacerations, and was still in good condition, nothing missing. Going back to the table, she sat on it, her foot still hurting somewhat. It was a miracle she had been able to slip back into her boots. But...he had jeans for her? Glancing into the hallway, he couldn't wear her size, now could he?

"Alright, I'll be right back," he replied as he left the room once again. He headed for a small hall closet that had it's own washer/drier withing the closest. Opening the closest doors, he went for the drier first. He started to dig through the cloths that were within it. Neither him or Babs had had the time to get their laundry out this morning and had left it in there from the night before.
After flipping through the articles of clothing within the drier, Dick came across a older pair of jeans that belonged to Babs. There were two other pairs, but he learned to recognized which ones Babs tended to favor to wear. He made sure he grabbed a pair she probably wouldn't miss. And if she did, he'd find some way to draw her off the subject.
Grabbing the jeans, Dick jogged over to another smaller closest near the main entrance to his place. Opening the door, he found a hunter green hoodie, he wouldn't mind loaning out to Selina. He could eventually get it back, if not, it didn't really matter to him.
It was so strange to be running around still in his Nightwing suit and having Catwoman in his place. At the moment, he was glad Babs hadn't been there. He would explain this if anything on the subject came up, but for now it would be alright.
Dick walked back to the safe-room. Returning with a pair of jeans and a hoodie for Seline, he walked over to her. "Here, these should be alright, I hope," he said as he held out the cloths for Selina. He didn't say anything else as he handed them to her. If she had any questions, he would answer them though.

Well, that was quick enough. Setting her bag behind her, she would pretty much look like any college student out there. Taking the items, she smiled, and offered a 'thank you,' as she tugged the jeans on beneath the makeshift dress, and then pulled on the hoodie. It dwarfed her, that was for sure, but it was better than a sheet. She had to almost force her arm through the opening, but it was better than shoving a floppy arm through it.
Peeling off the sheet, she handed it back. "You've done a lot for me. I'd say I'd take you for dinner...but judging by these jeans, you're seeing someone." She said, waiting for his reaction. "Then again, you're a bit young for me." She laughed, offering her good hand. "Then again, Wayne probably is too dumb t o get it. So...if you want a decent night out, give me a call, Dick." She added, slinging her bag over her shoulder.
if there was a weird night out there, this would surely qualify. "So. Is there anywhere I can grab a cab?"

Dick stepped back to give her her space once she had taken the cloths. This was definitely awkward for him. This night had been on crazy ride. At least he had been able to help her out. It wasn't everyone who would actually take this easy and not turn it against you in two seconds. He had a feeling that since Selina was in the same boat as he was, he might be able to relax a bit. But he would still keep an eye on her. He couldn't take his chances.
After her handing the sheet to him, he rolled it up and placed it on the counter top. He'd deal with cleaning everything up once she left. After that, he'd take care of any cuts he had sustained during the accident. He had been too concerned about helping her and not leaving her behind.
All the while his back had been bugging him, he has ignored the pain. He'd take some medicine and then take a hot shower to help. He would also work on his motorcycle later maybe in the morning. At her comment, he looked up at her again. "Uh, yeah, I don't think he'd been all that happy if I did anything like that," Dick replied. "She's understanding to a point, but with how this all turned out it might be best just to keep things quiet."
He watched her as she started to get ready to head out. "I'll keep that in mind," he replied to her last comment. Dick led the way to the door. "I can walk down with you. The building can be quite confusing if you don't live here," he offered her. He didn't mind heading down with her if she needed any help. He was a bit concerned over the minor dizziness she seemed to have after the accident. He just wanted to make sure she made it safely to a cab to get home.
As he walked out of the safe-room, he was allowing her further into his place. He didn't have much of a choice. It wasn't like there was a fire escape and she had already figured it out. He knew if he went down with her, he would have to slip something one quickly to hide the Nightwing suit. It wouldn't be that hard.

Selina nodded. "Well, tell her I'm a friend of Wayne's, from the ever-ending benefits. That is always a good excuse. As she followed him to the door, she smirked, looking him up and down. "You know, unless your building knows you like to fight crime at night, or that you prefer to dress like -that-, you may want to grab a jacket, or something." She smirked, her splinted hand motioning to his suit.
Or, we can totally go down to the lobby like this, me in ill-fitting clothing, you in...um...that." She teased. Shaking her head was her next move, a bad one at that. Leaning aginst the wall when her head spun, she tried to keep up her cool facade. She was doing pretty good, but getting home would be better.

The slightest hints of a smile came to the corner of his mouth at Selina's teasing over the way he was dressed. He glanced at her and said equally as teasing, "What this? Sure why now after all the secret seems to be getting out." He was only joking and he new she'd pick up on that. After all he wasn't a fan of what had happened between the two of them this night.
As she seemed to get a dizzy spell again and was leaning up against the wall, Dick moved in, concerned over her condition. "Try to take it easy," he said, stopping himself from getting too close. This was still Catwoman. But he was concerned over her possible concussion. It probably wasn't all that minor with how hard a hit she took.
"But you are right," he spoke up knowingly. He reached up with his right hand and removed the eye mask from his face now. She already knew it was him, and like she said about everyone in the building, they didn't know. And Dick didn't plan on letting anyone else in on the secret. His blue eyes had concern in them over the whole situation.
"I'll be right back," he said. Dick started to walk off back a small hall closet, He'd be quick about it since he didn't want to keep her here much longer. And she needed to see a doctor as soon as she could. He pulled off the gauntlets as he walked toward the closet. Opening it, he threw the gauntlets in there for now and found a pair of jeans he had left in there after he had done the laundry. He quickly slid the jeans on over top of the lower half of his suit. The boots of his suit would pass for civilian shoes for now. There wasn't anything special to the sight of the boots any how.
Dick figured as soon as he got back up he'd end up cleaning up, take a shower, then crash for a few hours, before getting to work on his motorcycle. So, he pulled off the top half of his suit and threw it into the closet as well. He grabbed for a plain solid grey t-shirt. He pulled it on over his head, once again covering up his muscular chest and hiding all the past few scars that there on his body from all the years of crime fighting.
He turned back toward Selina and walked toward her. "Is there anything else I can get you or help you with before we head down? I don't want to have you falling over half way down," he said. She just seemed so out of it, he worried if she'd even make it to the front of the complex to leave. Normal he wouldn't be all that concerned about Catwoman. But now this was Selina and it was the least he could do to help her out after what had happened.

He caught the fact she still wasn't feeling good. At least Batman had taught the kid well. And to be honest, that is what she still thought of him, no matter the height change, deeper voice and the blue instead of green and red. Robin. Nightwing. Whatever. The sad part was that she wasn't going to be able to properly let Batman know that. Oh well. Still leaning against the door frame, she smiled, her green eyes showing the briefest flash of recollection when his mask was removed. It really was Dick Grayson, Bruce Wayne's ward. Holy hell. Or Holy face-mask, like the kiddo used to sputter.
Blinking her eyes, letting them close for a minute when he walked off, she just lightly acknowledged him with a “Ok.” while she waited. She heard a click, a thud, and then another click as some sort of door shut. Opening one eye when she heard footsteps returning, she raised a brow. Sometimes it shocked her at how much the bodies under the masks and costumes looked like...dare she even say it, real, regular people. Ones that went to class, or worked, or did rather mundane day to day things. Like right now. That awkward conversation between two people in the wee hours of the morning. After a motorcycle crash. A crash that had unveiled two opposite sides of a coin.
She had to crack a smile at that thought. Harvey would like that one. Thinking rather quickly over what had happened in the apartment, she retraced her steps like she would in a heist. Nothing came to mind, that was until she thought of the bathroom. “My other mask is still in the sink...” She told him, her face blanching a bit. For a burglar, a cat-burglar at that, she was embarrassed. And unsure if she should walk back and get it, or let him. It was already awkward to have her there, she could feel it. Looking over his personal life, that with his girlfriend. Who..if she was thinking correctly, was Gordon's daughter. The redhead. She could contemplate that quandary another time.
“I guess, after that, I may need a hand getting downstairs. And yes, I'll make sure to get everything checked out. It's not like I don't have a Batcave with...well, whatever it's stocked with. No doubt a Physician on call.” She laughed a bit, waiting for him before chancing even a step away from the wall.
