Edward had gotten back to the suite about an hour ago. Wu had informed him of the main gangs, and he easily contacted suppliers with opium. Edward had never been too fond of drugs. They distorted the mind too much for him to ever have respect for them, but it was necessary if he were to ever create the proper distraction to stay in the high classified Chinese government building as long as he needed to. It would also draw the Chinese government to focus on their own government officials who were being framed with being near the drugs instead of the cyber attack that he would have used on the United States. It opened up the opportunity for Wu to campaign on a non corrupt government. Dealing with drug dealers was beneath the Riddler, but again, it was worth it for his plan to be a success.
After such a long day dealing with the scum of the Earth, Edward was exhausted. He sat on the couch with a book in hand. It was some Chinese propaganda book he had managed to pick up at one of the many flee markets. It wasn't anything to terrible interesting just praise on Mao's leadership. It was mostly just a way to keep his mind active yet still relax. Nina was on the recliner reading her own book. They had chatted for a while, but luckily, Nina had realized his lack of interest in conversation at the moment. They were easily able to read in silence.
The night probably would have continued in this comforting way if Edward hadn't of heard a strange noise. His eyes pulled from the book. He glanced at Nina first, but she was still reading. It wasn't a loud noise. It was just a noise that should not be occurring, and Edward had always been quite talent and catching something that was a miss in a situation. He turned to Allen who was playing solitaire on the dinning table. He then glanced around the room quickly, and decided that it was nothing. His mind must be tired to be playing tricks on him. He should certainly go to bed soon.
The noise appeared again. It sounded like cutting of glass. If Edward was not in his field of business, he certainly would not recognize it. Edward, however, had cut many glass window cases to steal diamonds or precious artifacts. The sound was common to his ear. His eyes turned to the window immediately, and he saw a black figure outside, hanging from their window and cutting the glass.
He smirked. He put his book down on the coffee table and grabbed his cane before standing and walking over to the window. It wasn't until she managed to remove the large glass from the window did the noise from outside sound loudly in the suite causing Allen to look up from the table. He watched as the woman easily entered from the full wall window and stepped causally on the ground like a cat. It was always quite impressive watching Selina at work. It felt similar to watching a ballerina on stage. "Why hello Selina, dear," he commented as she replaced the glass she had entered through, "You know you could have come through the door if you planned to visit." The smirk on his face danced in entertainment. This day just became a bit more interesting.
He stopped in his thoughts immediately though. What was Selina doing in China? How did she get out? Questions ran through his mind and the smirk that had been on his face left for a serious slightly confused expression as he watched the woman in a tight cat suit turn to him.

Nina had managed to find a copy of a book on traditional Chinese medicine in English during one of her ventures out into the city, and she's finding it very interesting. Very unlike western medicine, yet she finds herself wondering if there are several points of it that may be more correct - never mind that the basic approach is so different. So when Edward seemed more interested in reading than talking, she certainly didn't mind diving back into the book.
And she's absorbed enough in it that she doesn't notice anything unusual going on until Edward puts his book down. And then it's simply to glance over and see what he's doing now. And when her eyes follow his movement over to the window, she seeds the figure on the other side. She tenses for a moment, but quickly notes that Edward seems more amused than worried, so she simply waits to see what's going on.
When Catwoman slips through the window and Edward greets her, her eyebrows lift, but she simply closes her book and watches for the moment. The crutches leaning against the wall by her chair hint at why she doesn't get up at all - she only gets up when she knows for sure that she wants to right now. And at the moment she's hasn't a clue what to make of the situation. What does someone do when Catwoman unexpectedly breaks in through the window half way around the world from where you assumed that she was? Especially if you've never met her before?

She should have come in the front door. But will all the officials milling about, and the security, she had poo-pooed that idea in seconds. Sometimes it was easier to do her normal gig, rather than go out of her way. And with this sort of ...welcome, she was going to do it her way. As soon as the glass had been replaced, she was inside. It was warm. She was freezing. Even if it was the orient, it was still chill. And being in her leather catsuit for the damn flight over, even in the Bat-whatever he had called it? She was not happy. She'd dumped her things, and made a beeline for Eddie. Not that it was difficult for her to suss out where he was. He had splattered his characteristic tells everywhere.
But he'd been nice enough to invite her out. But she hadn't thought it would pan out like this.
Green eyes glared at him from behind the mask, narrowing to slits as he hobbled over. At least she had been able to get her restraints removed before this little...excursion. As he drew closer to her, her hand would dart out, going for his cheek to connect with him. And if that didn't work, and he tried to avoid it, her right foot would hook around his left, dropping him to the ground.
“Oh. Friends in high places, you know. I'm getting into the tub. Then we'll talk about this little ...visit, Eddie.” She hissed, stepping around him as she ripped her cowl off, entirely ignoring Allen, and Nina, save for a slight smirk.
Shaking out her mop of now curls, Selina paused, turning around before heading into the lush bedroom. “Looks like you've found yourself a pet, eh, Eddie?” she purred, laughing slightly before going into the room and shutting the door with a click. Seems that the woman he would barely acknowledge had come a ways.
First, she was going to get out of her suit. Take a bath. Then have a little chit chat with Edward. A ...forewarning of sorts. The sort that considering she had teamed up, temporarily with Batman, meant he would not refer to her as her real name, unless he valued his ….well, intellect.

Even as Edward's mind was buried in questions, his eyes still caught the strange movement of her arm. Knowing how sharp the tip of those gloves were, Edward always kept a second thought on her movements to avoid unwanted damage or blood on his nice suit. He saw the movement, projected the direction, and quickly leaned his torso away just as those sharp claws almost reached his cheek. He, however, was paying far too much attention to the claws to notice the action of her leg. He lost balance immediately and hit the ground with a thud.
His face scrunched up into an irritated scowl as he looked up at the woman standing above him. There eyes barely met as she stepped around him like a worthless rodent that had been dealt with. The sound of the nickname leaving her lips caused him to grip tighter onto his cane that had fallen with him. He had been out of Gotham for almost two weeks, and he had forgotten how easily the other rogues thought they could push him around. He quickly put his cane on the ground and pushed himself up. Selina was angry and didn't want to be here, that was all he deduced from the first statement.
"It's quite rude to take your temper out on innocent bystanders, dear. I must suggest taking a class to better handle it," he muttered as he brushed off his suit and saw Selina move to the bathroom. At the mention of Nina, Edward flinched for a brief second. This was the first time since the Ventriloquist that another rogue had met Nina (Edward was ignorant to the Mr. Freeze incident). Out of all the rouge to see him with Nina, Selina was probably the best. Her indifference to everyone's personal life was something to admired....but still, Edward did not like this.
"Yes, please dear just make yourself at home!" he said loudly and sarcastically as she went into his bathroom. When he heard the door lock, he glared at it for a moment. "It's Edward, stupid cat," he said under his breath as he headed to the kitchen. It wasn't that he disliked Selina. Quite the contrary, he thought Selina was an intelligent independent woman and one of the rare rogue he 'almost' considered a friend. He just hated when that independence ended up with him getting thrown out of hotel room or off ships....and for some reason, those type of actions occurred more when they were abroad.
He walked into the kitchen and opened the cabinet. He grabbed the hardest liquor he could find and poured it into a glass. Selina was in a mood, which meant he was about to be lectured. Being lectured by a woman was something he absolutely hated. "I hope you don't mind, but it looks like we will be having a guest, Nina," he said to her before muttering against his glass, "We should find some catnip and fish and see if we can lead her back outside." He then took a sip of the burning liquor.

Nina visibly flinches in sympathy when Edward abruptly ends up on the floor. However, quickly seeing that the woman, who is quite capable of causing much more harm, didn't do so she decides not to react to that further. She doesn't know very much about how the two of them interact, but what she does know and her experience of being around Edward tells her that it's extremely likely that he did something to deserve that at some point. If she were even slightly the type to express her feelings through physical violence, there's a good chance she'd have done something of the sort herself at a few points.
Still trying to fully come to grips with their visitor and the way she greeted Edward, she doesn't really react to the smirk the woman gives her. The words, on the other hand, prompt suddenly narrowed eyes and a scowl - instantly offended. Though the expression fades quickly in spite of the sheer depth of the emotion: Well, what do you expect her to think seeing you here? she's asking herself as she forces herself to calm down. Nina can be confident that the woman will either not be around enough to make her opinion matter, or she'll quickly learn the error of that statement. One can not know Nina and see her as anyone's 'pet'.
Well, she's definitely getting up now. She abandons her book to the coffee table before grabbing her crutches and pushing herself to her feet. She could actually probably walk a bit by this point, but after all her knee's been through she wants to be very careful with it. Still, she'll probably ditch at least one crutch in the next few days. She's already stopped using the knee immobilizer. She follows Edward over to the kitchen in silence, taking a seat on a barstool. "Would it matter if I minded?" she asks rhetorically.
She resettles herself, though she keeps her crutches more immediately at hand this time since getting up from a barstool is quite easily done and the odds are high she won't be sitting there for long. Then she looks more directly at Edward as she asks, "Are you okay?" She suspects that he's perfectly fine, but she doesn't want to assume. Though immediately after that she asks, "And do you know what her problem is?" Perhaps surprisingly, her tone for that question is suspicious and almost accusatory. She doesn't really want to jump to the conclusion that he did something, but that's definitely the safer bet than assuming that Selina is just randomly angry. The more direct question of 'What did you do this time?' hangs in the air, unspoken.

He continued to glare in the direction of the bathroom as he sipped from his glass. Nina barely stopped his glaring as he noticed her movement to the chair. It caused his irritated thoughts on Selina to halt for a moment. How was he going to explain Nina to Selina? He was never a man to hold onto a woman, and he certainly did not want news of him with a woman to pass through the underworld. The rumors were already annoying enough.
'Have you've heard? Riddler's got himself a Harley.'
'Hah really? Surprise the dude can look away from the mirror five seconds to even get a girl.'
'Yay seriously, bet the girl is lathered with black and blue bruises in shapes of question marks!'
Edward had caught that conversation in a bar he was at when he was sorting out some last minute plans to get out of Gotham. Let's just say, those two ended up with a few question mark bruises themselves if they managed to survive their trip to the hospital. No, he plan to keep Nina a secret as long as he could, but Selina also wasn't a gossip. She wouldn't care...
At least, he hoped she wouldn't. He also felt a bit out of his element because he usually enjoyed some friendly flirtation with Selina when she wasn't acting like a wet pussy. Now back in the day when he traveled with the elites, he managed to balance multiple women easily. The issue in this situation was that both women were very...deadly, and he had no interest in dying tonight.
Nina comment caused Edward to chuckle and finally turn his glare from the bathroom to her. "I suppose your right. We don't currently have a choice," he commented. Selina was a woman to do what she want when she wanted. Very little could stop her.
Nina's next question caught him off guard. Okay? Of course, he's okay. He's been through much worse then being kicked onto the ground, but then he realized that Nina hadn't really seen him get hurt before. He didn't even have enough time to answer the question before she was onto the next. He was an intelligent man so he easily caught the accusation in her tone. His lips pursed in annoyance. Her attitude wasn't his fault! Okay, obviously her being in China had something to do with him, and it was a riddle taunting him annoyingly in the back of his mind. She couldn't be here just on a friendly visit. Did the favor he ask for go wrong? Was she hiding out here? If that was the case....then he was in for more then an earful after Selina's bath. He would probably have healing scratch marks for days. Great...just great.
"Don't give me that look," he said pointing a glove finger at her face and those accusing eyes. "I am completely innocent here. She agreed to do it!" He waved his hand with his cane at the bathroom. "I could hardly be blame if she's a little rusty at her talent. Some people need to practice to hone in their skills. Not all people can be as lucky as me where practice is unnecessary." He pouted like a two year old before settling his cane back on the ground and bringing his drink up to his lips again.

She was freezing. And irritated. And...baffled. Here she was, in China. With Batman. And somehow she was going to do this entire trip while keeping her own damn identity on the down low. While she had never even fathomed how this was going to happen, she wasn't entirely..sold on it, either. But thanks to the little....deal the two had made for the time being while the FBI was encroaching on Gotham...there was little she had to say. And little she had been able to pack. Once the door clicked shut, she jammed it easily with a small wedge from her belt. Nicely as it was, there was also a bug attached, so she'd be able to hear all the griping and whining that was sure to come from her 'friend.' And she was correct as she started to peel the now-damp suit from her body. Walking over to where the tub was, she started a hot bath. A bit of time in there, and she'd be good. Time to think, time to figure out what to formulate on how to tell him...the exact why's she was here. That his little heist had gone well, that -no- her skills were not rusty, but maybe his wordcrafting was, considering tall, dark, and brooding had figured out the riddle left in the computer system. After sinking into the tub and warming up, and laughing considerably at the little tete a tete the duo was having, she emptied the tub, and wrapped one of the lush towels about herself, more than a bit tickled when another door in the bathroom lead her to where his room was. Smirking, she opened the rather large, ornate wardrobe and rifled through his clothing until she settled on a vivid emerald dress shirt. She had enough other sundries to make the shirt into a suitable dress for the time being. That being as such, she made her way back into the bathroom, twisting and tying the dress until it resembled a chic dress in the rich emerald color. A quick brush of her hair, and she looked almost good enough to hit up that new bar in Gotham's something or other hotel. Gathering her few things; her belt, boots, suit, cowl, and the small satchel that nearly blended with everything, she finally reached for the small wedge, replacing it in her bag. Casually walking out, Selina Kyle nee Catwoman for the time being carefully laid out her suit and other items on the couch. “Nice conversation, Eddie. And for the record, the heist went well. Tiffany is a religious nut, but...a few words and I seemed to be able to get him to think I could be used as bait for Batman. Nothing a batarang couldn't do, right?” Smirking to both Nina, and Edward, she padded barefoot into the kitchen, grabbing two glasses; one for Nina, one for herself. Leaning across the bar, she crooked a finger to the bottle. “Toasting to unreasonable men, “ She paused, a grin blossoming on her lips as she raised her glass to the other woman. “Nina, correct?” She said, clinking her own glass to the other woman's.“But, as things happen to be, I'd prefer sushi, alas, this is China, not Japan, as your wordcrafting may need a bit of ...help.” Another sip. “Unlike another tall, dark and brooding man who figured it out with ease, and wrangled me onto his own personal jet, you know.” Another sip of the liquid, and she leaned against the bar's counter, peering at the other two. Glancing at the glass, her nose wrinkled. “ Beggars can't be choosers, nor can thieves be too picky without a plan...” was her soft murmur to herself. “So, as it goes, we land, I part ways, telling him I'm going to see if I'm able to get any intel and meet back in...oh, a few hours. At least that's what '95 minutes' sounded like to me.” Winking to Eddie, her large green eyes settled on Nina for a second or two. She'd already seen the crutches. It seemed that injuries were the new 'it' accessory in Gotham as of late. Which reminded her she'd need to be a bit..careful. “And to be honest, I have no idea what the four of us are going to do here. It's going to be tricky enough with him and I not knowing each other's identity. But, I do know we all want Tiffany and his little circus out of town.” Downing the last of her drink, the glass was carefully set down as she awaited her answer, and questions. “See? No lecture, Riddler. This is a bit of a different...MO, even for me.” She was teasing Eddie again, considering she had caught most of the conversation whilst she was enjoying her warm bath.

There's a slight decrease in the suspicion in Nina's expression at Edward's reply, but not very much. She knows extremely well by now just how easily Edward blames things on other people's lack of intelligence when the fault really is his. All she can really determine from his defensiveness is that he doesn't want to be blamed for whatever is going on. Which is better than the other option, she supposes, but there's still plenty of skepticism in her tone when she simply says, "Uh-huh." Clearly the jury is still out on whether or not she really believes him.
And she doesn't really feel the need to say anything more than that two syllable indication that she's still skeptical. Everything happening here in China is Edward's business, and so is whatever this woman is doing here. As a result, she's probably far more capable of patience in this situation than Edward is and is simply now in the mode of waiting to see what happens. Of course, everything happening here also effects her too, since she decided to come along. Not that she has any regrets at all about coming, but that does make her rather curious about exactly what's going on.
Fortunately for both of them, it doesn't seem to take too long for Selina to take her bath. Given the weather outside, it isn't a hard guess that the woman simply needed to warm up and change. Though she raises an eyebrow at the 'dress' the woman has on when she comes out. Evidently Selina found his clothing before she found hers.
She assumes that whatever is said now, she'll be the silent observer, but Selina almost instantly changes that by including her in the conversation. Okay, so maybe she's marginally forgiven for the 'pet' crack already. Even if the woman apparently listened to what they said while she was in the bathroom - she's kind of used to being spied upon at this point. She accepts the offered glass, though the reason why Edward didn't offer her some is because he knows that Nina isn't much of a drinker even at the worst of times. That's Edward's unhealthy coping strategy, not hers. However, the toast that Selina gives is something she pretty much has to drink to. "My leg is his fault," she says with an angry edge to her tone, before clinking her glass to Selina's. Clearly there's a story there she's not going to share at this point, but it's a quick way of indicating that she has personal experience with Agent Tiff's unreasonableness.
After taking a sip of her drink, she nods and says, "Yes - and you're Selina." She's not especially... happy that yet another rogue has seen her with Edward and knows her name. Though she's known that Catwoman's name is Selina ever since Edward's drunken rambling even if he hadn't said it again moments ago, and now that she has a face to go with the name she supposes that it's only fair for Selina to know who she is. Equal ability to damage the other, and all that, though it's already clear to her that Edward must have some level of trust and respect for the woman to react to her the way he has.
She listens to the rest silently but attentively, eyebrows raising and eyes shifting over to Edward to see how he's reacting to this. For her part, all this information just makes her quietly brooding. So, Batman has figured out Edward's riddle and is in China? That's... she doesn't know what to make of that. Since Edward told her about what he's trying to do here, she's found herself hoping that something - anything - would stop him. Well, anything except her, of course. But she also doesn't want anything to happen to Edward - ah, there's that mixed feeling again she's gotten so very familiar with. Though she supposes that overall this is bad news for her personally as well. But then... how will Catwoman being involved change things?
But mostly she's watching Edward at this point, as it's probably a good guess that he won't be taking this nearly as calmly as she is.

Nina didn't believe him. His lip pursed more before he took another sip of his hard liquor. His fingers tapped against his cane in thought. If the plan hadn't gone the exact way he wanted, she obviously had to get out of Gotham for a time, but still, why come to China? To yell at him? It fit most women need to nag every man in their life MO pretty perfectly. It still seemed odd. There had to be another reason she was here, and it involved him and his current plan. Why would be involve in his current plan? Had someone blackmailed her? Did the FBI manage to break his code and plan to use her as bait? No. No. The FBI barely has the brain capacity of a mouse. Only someone who was intelligent could figure out his riddle. The only person he knew who was up for such a challenge was....Batman.
He didn't have much longer to toy with that idea because then Selina walked out of his room.
He choked on the liquid that managed to go down his throat the wrong way. He coughed into his sleeve as he forced himself to turn away from the image he just saw. Selina Kyle wearing only his shirt. It certainly did not help that Selina’s physique could be comparable to perfection, and Edward loved the color green. The woman was trying to torture him for some sick revenge. He heard Selina walk by him, and with his eyes still focused on the floor as he continued to recover from the cough, he got the barest of glance of her bare legs.
Mother of…
He causally turned back around like he had gotten control of his little coughing episode and nothing was out of the ordinary. It wasn’t like a half naked seductress was walking around in his shirt while his…his…Nina was sitting right there at the bar. He hated women.
Luckily, Edward’s mind was comparable to a beehive. It could focus on many things and still hold a conversation. The words just held less emotional value with a distraction in front of him. The mention of the pitiable head agent barely causes Edward to blink. He knew the single man was not the issue with the FBI. He was a fool and didn’t even count as piece on his chessboard. Now, on a more personal level, he did have a fun little game the man could play on a later date.
He was quite pleased though, that the plan went as suspected. He certainly had no reason to be concern over her ability. The fence had shut down like he had requested. Her explanation though on how she managed it only gained a rolling of the eyes from him. “It’s not that far fetch of a conclusion to come to. If the Batman knew your identity, I have no doubt he would watch from the window as you undress like most attentive stalkers,” he mumbled, but he noticed that Selina was focusing much more attention on Nina then him. The corner of his lip dipped downward ever so slightly. There always felt like an underline plot going on behind this lioness mind, and he did not particularly like the idea of Nina being involved in it.
He also just didn’t like two women in his life becoming friends. One woman was bad. Two that communicated, gossiped, and analyzed, would probably lead to Edward’s death.
His focus that was on Nina’s softening expression, Selina’s graceful pose along his counter, and the clink of their glasses is slammed to halt at the mention of Batman.
He barely catches Selina’s jabs or the wink shot in his direction.
Batman is here.
He is in Beijing.
He figured out his riddle, obviously not all of it if he hasn’t gotten a hold of Wu. He also is putting his faith into Selina. No offense to the woman. She is far intelligent, but she is a wild card in everything she does. She walks on the line of grey every night. She could hardly be considered reliable, yet she had found him. Did that mean the Bat was only a few minutes away? No, he wouldn’t have waited for Selina’s bath…unless he really is a stalker and happened to be in his bathroom. No. No. Selina just confirmed that they do not know each other’s identity. It really was a risky move on the Batman to bring her, almost desperate. The mention of the FBI agent caught his attention barely. Ah that’s right, he had told Selina the mere basic of his plan, i.e. his plan, if successful, would take the Feds out of Gotham. He had left out all the points between point A and point B, but Selina on most occasions respected another’s privacy.
The teasing was lost to him at the moment. There was a riddle plaguing his mind. Why was Selina here when she knew Batman was searching for him? Did he trust Selina? More then most rogues, but no.
He sat his drink down on the counter as he took a step forward to Selina. He no longer cared about her little clothing. His mind was on his plan abut to be stopped, and he needed to know exactly which side of the line Selina was walking on now.
“Dear, I am afraid you forgot to answer the most important riddle,” he stated as he stopped himself a mere half a foot away from her. “Why are you here?” he asked in reference to his suite. His eyes then fell to her glass as he watched her drink it. He smirked. You always needed something for an upper hand. “I must mention that it is highly possible that not all my beverage are safe to drink,” he commented as he brought his eyes back towards hers. “But it would be rude of me to stop a beautiful woman from having her drink,” his smirk still playing on his lips.
Selina would not turn him into Batman if he had anything to say about. It was a piece on the board he wanted to either get control or get rid of as soon as possible.

Selina quirked a brow, her head canting to the side. Raising her empty tumbler, she pointed to it with her free hand. “Oh, you mean this liquor?” She quipped. “The same liquor you were drinking minutes ago when I was in the bath? Surely you wouldn't ingest something toxic to yourself, AND offer it to a guest, Edward.” Smiling, she winked at Nina this time. She didn't need to mention how stupid that would be. He'd be insulted! Slowly turning her green gaze back to Eddie she refilled her glass. “And you must be talking about lovely Nina here. You know I'm spoken for, Eddie.” Raising her glass again, she stood, walking confidently around the bar to go and settle herself atop a bar stool with ease. Even in that 'dress.' It must've been made of silk, the way it felt against her skin. At least the man had good taste in clothing.
Draping an arm along the backside of the stool, she nodded to Nina. She had caught the gist of who she was talking about. “Tell me about Tiff. He really is stuffy. The names he called me. Really. I'm half tempted to believe it's a rumor he's actually married. A woman that interested in him must be insane. Not that I'm one to judge...” Her gaze shifted from Nina to Edward at the last of that sentence, an almost cruel smile on her lips. She was toying with him, it was that clear. He was nearly salivating like Pavlov's pups waiting for her answer. And she was going to give it time. Gingerly swirling her glass, the liquor rolled like the water outside had offer her cowl. And while she adored water....being outside on the rooftops when she wasn't used to them, in the pouring rain was a different matter.
“Here? Well, for starters, I'm visiting someone I would consider a friend Edward. And of course, to thank you for the text letting me know your end went well on the gig. And of course, you know me, I like a little follow up on those special favors. But you know, China is quite nice, especially compared to Gotham's takeover.” Raising the glass, her eyes shifted between her two audience members. She was drawing out her story, watching him fiddle with his cane.
“And considering I know you, and it wasn't that hard to figure out where you were camped for the time being, I thought I'd give you a bit of a head's up. Considering Allen and several other guards are at the front door, the elevator, and stationed elsewhere....I took the window route. Not that I need to explain myself...” Another sip, and she smiled again, crossing one bare leg over the other. Slowly. Bobbing her foot as she would if it had a pricey Louboutin upon it, she continued.
“The real reason. Batman and I have a temporary truce. There is a bug planted in the FBI headquarters. He wants to find you, I was brought along for the ride. I'm guessing you two are about to tango, considering he was pretty tightlipped en route here on the riddle, and I wasn't going to push him. But, after that, I'm guessing there is going to be a little...meeting, you could say on how we're all going to 'band together' to rid Gotham of Tiffany, and his little mice.” Sighing, she wearily waved her hand in the air. “So. I'm going to finish my drink, go let the Bat find me, hopefully catch some sleep, and let you two play. And possibly Nina and I can chat, maybe visit a few of the sights while you both are playing, and then meet up for dinner.”
Winking at Edward, she drained half of her glass, firstly. “And rest assured he's not tailing me. One of my requests; I told him I wanted to see if any contacts knew you were about. Also. When we meet for dinner...you say nothing of my name,” Slipping to her feet, she left merely a bit of liquor left in her glass, that was placed on the bar while she stood. Pressing a fingertip to his nose, she continued, “No Selina, no hinting. Bring all the feline puns you wish. But it's contingent that my identity is kept from him. Speculate all you wish on his; I'm curious to find out who is behind that mask...” She purred, before releasing her finger on his nose and walking back to where her suit was. The speculation would depend if they all met in costume, or not. Either way, it was exciting to contemplate the cunning mind behind all that black and brooding. Snagging the leather suit she started towards the bathroom once again, bare legs in full view as she nearly pranced away from the duo.

Fortunately for Edward, it isn't until Selina mentions Batman that she actually looks at him so she misses seeing his reaction to the way Selina is dressed entirely. But she does see the look on his face after that - sudden thought, followed by that perfectly understandable question, followed by that truly absurd implied threat.
She says nothing on the subject of the safety of the liquor, though the fact that she frowns slightly and takes another small sip from her glass says enough. What prompted Edward to make such an obviously flawed set of statements? She doesn't know about Selina, though obviously he wouldn't let her drink poison and Selina seems to know that too. Must have been more thrown by the news about Batman being in Beijing than he's letting on. Or something like that.
Though her attention easily shifts back to Selina when she sits at the bar next to her. She's still not sure what to make of this woman, still very much on the fence about just how likable (or not) Selina is. Some of her actions and mannerisms are likable, while others are more... abrasive. Though when prompted, Nina easily summarizes by muttering, "Tiff! He arrested me for a crime I didn't commit and shot me twice for refusing to talk." And clearly there's more to that story, but it's a good enough summary to explain the flash of anger in her eyes. Definitely not a fan.
Though Nina knows what Selina's doing to Edward, as she's done the same thing to him before herself a couple of times, she's waits with probably far more patience for the woman to get around to actually answering Edward's first question. She'd very much like to know the answer to it too, but her expression is rather blank as she simply waits to have something actually substantial to react to. And when she does, it's simply a raised eyebrow. Wait... What's this about a meeting? And... dinner? She suddenly feels like she got lost somewhere in the explanation...
Not really knowing what to make of this, she frowns and looks back at Edward to see what he's making of this. He is, after all, the one who's used to dealing with these people, right?

He chuckled at Selina's natural calm. Did she think he was an idiot? The thought caused a low sense of anger to course his skin, but he still kept his smile and laughed as the woman moved around to continue taunting him. "Dear, would you not think that if I did have deadly items within my kitchen, I and my accompany would already be immune," he commented over her pointless conversation. That statement wasn't a lie. Edward dabbled in poison drinks quite often. He knew it was better to always take the antidote before accidentally poisoning yourself. Of course, that didn't mean her drink was actually a drink that was poison, but why inform her. Though Nina's looks were not helping.
Selina's indifference towards him was infuriating though, and the way she naturally dismissed him was gnawing at him. A large part of him just wanted to pull out his gun, but he just gritted his teeth and waited.
Once again her answer to his question brought little information on whether she was or was not helping the Batman. She was far too flippant and cat like at times. His eyes studied her as he tapped on his cane in irritation. He would certainly be drugging all his drinks with some form of truth serum when he got home, so he would never have to deal with such pointless and disrespectful jabber.
His eyebrow rose at the mention of a dinner and play time. What was she on about now? Yes, he had no doubt that the Batman would be confronting him soon, but that certainly would not be over dinner about the FBI. She then started walking away like she hadn't just stated the sky was falling. "Are you mad, woman?" he snapped, finally losing his temper. She might be able to dismiss his threat but ordering him to meet up with Batman was beyond. "I do not need the Batman's help handling the little pathetic rodents called the FBI. What do you believe I am China for? Once I am finished, the FBI will be a forgotten drain on the government deficit. There is no possible way I will be graveling to the Bat for help at a meeting, and especially not over dinner.". He huffed and crossed his arms over his chest like a pouting child. "You would have to bring my dead rotting corpse with no brain if you ever wanted me to go to such an event," he snapped before waving his hand at her. "Go home, Selina. You're reminding me of a child trying to get her divorce parents back together and the pure pathetic expression is not attractive on your features."
Ooc: sorry its short. Wrote on my phone.

She knew he wasn't an idiot. But what she did know was that Edward Nigma was a man. Reaching over to grab the pile of black leather, Selina turned slowly to face Nina. Pointing a finger at the woman, she nodded slowly. “We'll chat about that,” she said quietly. Tiff shooting people? If she didn't know Edward as well as she did, she'd suggest the two take up poaching together. But if this little hotel, or whatever she was going to be staying at had a secure, and she meant -secure- computer, she could pull up a bit of information on that topic.
Green eyes sparking at the woman, Selina decided to...add to the conversation. “Maybe your beau, and Tiff can get a bit of aggression out; you know, shooting range” Cocking her forefinger and thumb she squinted one eye shut as she focused back on Edward, who now would be close to throwing her out. Moving her thumb forward she mimicked a trigger, and winked at him.
Holding onto her things she was in the bathroom and changed into everything but her gloves and cowl, the dress carefully left on his bed with a folded over note with the following written, “Dinner will have something better...” Before she walked out, leather-clad once more.
“Well friends, I hate to head out into the cold night without you, but, we'll be seeing eachother soon. Nina, we must meet for drinks.” Closing the space between her and the other woman, Selina procured a business card and flicked it out between two fingers like a professional socialite. “My card. Call the number, or have Eddie do it. I know of a few places that would be excellent to head out for a ladies' night.” Smiling warmly, she walked over to Edward, the edge of her boot slipping between the cane bottom on the floor, effectively stopping the tapping.
“I hate to say I can't warn you any more than I have, Edward.” At his outburst, she had to contain her smirk, her eyes twinkling as she forced a serious expression. “Well, hopefully we can get the FBI out before they harm our Gotham. And, you know...if you're both my parents....who's on top?” Finally cracking a smile, she slipped her glove on, patting her dear friend on the cheek, as well as the top of the head. He was so cute sometimes when he was pissy.
Slipping her other glove on, as well as tugging her cowl down, Selina had now completed her guise as Catwoman, and made for the balcony doors. Whip in hand, she turned on her heel, and snapped it once to check it. No rain damage, thankfully. And with that, she was back into the night again, leaving the doors open, the rain thankfully having petered out for the evening. It was now time to tango with Batman. Figure out exactly what he was going to do with all this. She wasn't exactly at ease with the situation, and she needed to toy with a few new encryptions with her phone. It was always a treat to be able to own a device that routed several numbers to one phone; her normal business contacts, as well as her 'nighttime numbers.'

Nina doesn't really react to Selina saying that they'll talk about Tiff. Mostly because she just doesn't know what to make of this situation... at all. Though the random comment about Edward and Agent Tiff going to a shooting range together causes a slightly pained expression to cross her face - Selina couldn't know that Edward is the other person who has shot her before, and she could have done without the reminder. She hates guns...
But she's passive as she watches the exchange between Selina and Edward, frowning to herself. She still has the feeling that she doesn't quite understand what they're talking about, even though they're both speaking English and don't seem to be making references to things she wouldn't know about. But she does know that Edward is getting upset. And as confused as she is right now, she still understand enough to know that Edward is being ridiculous. But she'll wait to say so. And not phrase it that way, of course.
For now, though, she really just doesn't know what else to say so she maintains her thoughtful silence. Even when Selina comes back and gives her a card she says nothing and frowns at it slightly. Still, she takes it. She's just not completely certain whether or not she wants to call the number on it. Partly because she's not even sure if she even likes this woman at all, but also because she just isn't a 'go out for drinks with a girl friend' type of person even if she did. Still, the warm smile is mildly encouraging. And it's not like she isn't terribly bored whenever Edward isn't around.

Edward did not like being ignored. He did like being taunted. He did not enjoy feeling like he was being backed into a corner like a mouse, so when Selina patted him on the head and cheek he just shot her a glare that expressed his current feeling with her. The comment on whose on top caused an ugly image to appear in his mind. His lip twitched in disgust, but he kept silent and held his glare as she walked over the window. Selina would not be hearing from Nina. She would not be hearing from him either. Edward’s blood was boiling, and his mind was dancing around all the information he had gathered by Selina’s presence.
She had never given a straight answer, but her body language and attitude were clues in themselves. Batman was in China, that was confirmed. Selina was ignorant to Edward’s plans, and Batman had kept some information about him to himself. He was keeping Selina in the dark. Understandable since the woman switched side like a chameleon changes colors. It was the same reason Edward gave her very little information about his own scheme. But the important thing to note was that Batman still didn’t trust Selina. If that was the case Batman wouldn’t trust her to actually give away his location, though Edward didn’t trust her not to give it away. If Batman didn’t trust her then he would follow her. If he did trust her, and Edward was right about not trusting her, then she would go back and tell Batman his location. Either way his wonderful paid for suite had been compromised, and he needed to leave immediately. His teeth grinded together in irritation as he stared at Selina who cracked her whip. He could not even appreciate the tight outfit that caressed her curves because he was too furious.
He had known as soon as Selina had shown up something negative could only come from it. The only riddle that still bothered him was that if Batman did follow Selina, why had he not shown himself earlier? He had been waiting for him to barge through the window ever since the words ‘Batman’ left Selina’s mouth. It could be that Batman trusted her…no..no.
He wanted Catwoman to trust him. Ah, that seems to fit better. Why would he want that? Personal reasons, perhaps. All the rogues knew the Batman had some strange fascination with Catwoman. Still….
It didn’t matter. His position had been compromised no matter the reason behind it. He had to solve that issue first. He waited for Selina to disappear into the night before reaching into his pocket and grabbing small green question marks from it. He was certainly a man of trinkets. “Nina, get your stuff we are leaving now,” he stated coldly, not looking at her. “Allen grab me my bag and bring out here,” he ordered as he stuck one of the question mark underneath the counter. He then moved to one of the beams that obviously gave some support to the room above them. He stuck another one in the shadows. He hurried as fast as he could around the living area living them.
“Here, Boss,” Allen said as he placed a bag on the coffee table.
“Good, good,” he muttered, “Check the windows and make sure the Batman isn’t spying on us. He is a cheater after all. He can’t play by the rules because he lacks the intelligence. Jimmy…Jimmy! Stupid sleeping boy,” he muttered the last part as he dug through his bag. Allen had thrown some suits in it, but primarily it was his tech stuff he would need for later. He smirked when he saw what he was looking for. A small remote. He placed it in his pocket. It was a good thing he was already dressed and read to go. He zipped up the bag before pulling his phone into his pocket.
This building was an expensive hotel. Five Stars. For that reason, everything was electronic. People made it too easy sometimes. He hacked the security system with his phone as the teenage boy came out tiredly. “There you are Jimmy. I need you to write on the wall over there, What comes up must come down,” he said not even looking at the kid.
“With what?” the boy asked quietly.
Edward cringed at the stupid question and his time constraint. “I don’t particularly care what,” Edward snapped, “We got to be out of here now.” All of this had taken place within five minutes, and Edward was still feeling like it wasn’t fast enough.
“Nina, time to go, darling,” he said still glancing at his phone as he made his way to the door. When and if Batman showed up, he would not enjoy his welcome.
