Freeze never really traveled much, but there was something of high Value that he wanted and he was sure Catwoman wanted it as well. The Egyptian White Diamond. Freeze needed some new energy in his suit; diamonds were perfect for that. They lasted longer than the energy cells and were fairly easy to steal and not order.
The University was bustling with students and the diamond was on Display in the Library. It was a cold night, which made Freeze happy, as the afternoon would only get worse. Getting his equipment on, adjusting his suit and gun, Freeze took to his van and drove to Gotham University. Walking through the back way was much easier than going through the front. Freezing the door with his gun, the door broke into pieces. As he walked screams were heard everywhere and security guards raced towards him. Freeze fired his gun at the floor as the blue beam of Ice blanketed the floor keeping the guards at bay and knocking them out in the process.
Once in the library he looked at each of the students faces. "Leave and no one will be frozen". The Librarian walked up to Freeze, "I'm not afriad of you!" Freeze smiled and blasted her, she was now a statue of cold and temptation. "Your foolishness and braveness will not be accounted for in my books" Every student now ran out the exit doors. The place was calm now.

“Alright class, line up single file…” it was a cool and crisp morning in the middle of July, which was odd to start off with. But none the less, Conner Kent did as he was asked in got into a line in alphabetical order. It made no sense whatsoever to him. They were in high school, why do they need to still lined up this way like they were elementary school kids. He couldn’t help but sigh. The class was off to visit some stupid dinosaur exhibit and the teen of steel only signed up for the trip only because his best friend insisted on him coming along to keep him company for the long bus ride from Metropolis to Gotham.
It wouldn’t have been so bad if his friend didn’t get sick the day of the field trip, which left super boy only to be alone with a bunch of other kids he hardly knew. They tried their best to include him but he knew to keep his distance, all he needed was to give a hug to someone and they might have their ribs crushed. Any contact can mean danger of revealing his secret identity.
So today, of all days, in a museum crowded of civilians was under attack. A large wave of student ran passed him screaming and Superboy raised a curious eyebrow. “What the…”
He rushed into action tossing off his white button up shirt to reveal his black T-shirt underneath with the red superman insignia. He never leaves home without it. Tossing the white shirt on the ground as he ran and feeling the tug of the jeans on his hips he spotted a blue skinned villain otherwise known to many as mister freeze.
“I would say freeze… but that’s a bit over used don’t you think?” Super boy called out. He directed his attention to mister freeze and hoped drawing his attention away from the civilians would allow them the chance to escape. Which they did as soon as they saw the miniature superman appear, they fled the scene. No longer captives of the icy terror.

"You people never learn do you?" Freeze laughed in his icy heart of a superman wannabe. Sure of course people loved batman, but not many people did the things he did. Though there were always villians or antihero's. The diamond was only infront of Freeze, having a feeling that Catwoman should be here any minute now. Maybe Gotham's finest would be here, maybe Commisioner Gordon, afterall Gotham was in need of it's demented and dim witted heroes, who couldn't defeat the captain of ice.
Freeze pointed his gun at the young boy. 'Your arrogance has gotten you no where" said Freeze with a rough and icy pose, that was sure to scare whoever was left in the building. His finger pressed the trigger as the intense white and blue beam hit the boy in the chest, as he continued holding and directing the beam. Letting go since the boy was now basically frozen. The boy's legs, chest and arms were frozen. Freeze turned back to the diamond and blasted the glass casing in ice. After doing that the casing shattered, and the Egyptian White diamond reflected off of the tears of ice that were remaining on it.

Superboy was now immobile. He couldn’t move, well he could but they were just stiff. The teen of steel focused his eyes on the diamond. “So that’s what ice guy wants…” super boy thought to himself. Narrowing his eyes he focused creating a telekinetic shield between Freeze and the diamond. He thought he might as well screw with him and make him occupied for a few seconds while Super Boy slowly would regain his mobility.
A few seconds was all he needed. Narrowing his eyes again at the blue skinned man of snow and ice. Conner Kent also known as Super boy’s eyes went from a piercing blue to a shade of Maroon. Then a burning red as two twin beams of heat sizzled from the back of the new colored iris’ of super boy.
The twin Beams would hit freeze knocking him into a nearby museum wall possibly knocking him into a few nearby exhibits. A large crater, would be made after Freeze’s body slammed into the concrete. Superboy smirked as he flexed his muscles and using his super strength broke free from the ice. He was blessed with super man’s strength, and powers. Of coarse a simple freeze way wouldn’t stop him for long.

Freeze was about to get the diamond, when he was blasted into a few walls. The dust and metal all over his suit. Freeze wasn't injured, but the sheer power of the little twerp made him annoyed and wanting revenge. The fire alarm was next to Freeze. The only way to stop this idiot was to pull that alarm, water as a solid was ice. Freeze would be able to freeze him completely. Freeze grabbed his gun, which was under some rubble. How dare he attack a man who knew more science than most people in the world. How dare he!
The alarm went off and flashed red, as the sprinkler system went on, water surrounded the whole area. Freeze click his com-link "Catwoman, are you there. I have a job for you and the reward is all yours, as long as I can take some samples from the item". Catwoman was probably on her way, she was a good associate who got the job done, like Freeze.
The staircase above the library was down the hall to the left. Freeze ran down the hall almost slipping from the water. The only way to drive this baboon out of the library, would be to divert his attention long enough to get the diamond. Freeze stopped before getting close to the ramp. Noticing that the fire trucks would soon be coming, it was of course eight o' clock at night. Freeze watched the window as the firemen entered the building. Grabbing his gun, Freeze ran to the elevator room. The firemen were taking the elevator, it would be their last mistake. Opening the doors with his strength, Victor noticed that the elevator was coming slowly. Firing his gun at the elevator shaft, the elevator stopped with a thud and a loud, screaming, prompt of panic. Ice now covered the Elevator poles. Elevators are weak during fires and snow storms, soon the cables would snap and the firemen would fall to their deaths. Tall and jagged, the ice would not move. The lights near Freeze were flickering, like a lightening bug who was being hit too many times. The brown and tan walls around the area with breaking paint, seemed un-changed with all that was going on. He ran back to the stairs and to the information desk, creating a wall of ice where the entrance was. No one was getting in and no one was getting out, well except Freeze.

Selina blatantly ignored the com-link message. Hadn't Victor realized cats didn't come when they were called? Or demanded to be at a place at a certain time? Rubbing her temple she continued to relish most of the dirty work done by Freeze and the boy, the slick, wet, cool mess soon consuming the library. Once the duo had skirted around to a different area, she would slip from the shadows, and most of the puddles left, and deftly grab the diamond.
At this point, alarms were blaring, people were screaming...and it was just a mess. Slipping back into the shadows, she had to think on how this was really not her sort of gig, but well, Victor did tend to like big scenes. Rolling her eyes as she tucked the gem into her side-bag, reaching back to where she had stashed a rather scholastic looking trench-coat.
Tugging off her mask, that was tucked away too, a pair of gaudy, but trendy pair of glasses put on as well. Slipping into a small crowd of screaming, terrified students she made her way out a side exit.

Super boy broke free of everything thought bound him down and would use his super speed to easily catch up to freeze. He attempted to tackled him through the brick wall of the museum, almost making them both fall three stories if it not for Superboy’s flight ability, who he would hold freeze if his attack happened to land.
“DAMN IT! WHAT ARE YOU AFTER?” Super boy cursed. He was angry now, it was the one thing that separated him from superman the most. He had less control, angry before freeze can answer he tossed him into the museum building crashing through one of the side exits.
OOC: Pardon my rough housing with Freeze, i thought it'll be a good way to get catwoman involved.

Before Freeze could react, he was thrown into the side exit of a museum building. The impact didn't injure him but it did startle him. That boy was dangerous especially too himeslf. Freeze's suit was still in tact but his left shoulder felt moments of pain. Freeze carefully walked back blasting the buidling with ice until the exit was shattered. The firefighters were still trapped in the elevator. As Freeze stepped back into the area, he heard a fainy snap.
The line had broken and the screeching signalled the elevator was going to crash soon. Freeze took the stairs, yet when he got to the diamond level, the diamond was gone. Catwoman, of course. Freeze picked up his comlink, "Catwoman, you have the diamond I suppose. Where are you currently?" Freeze looked over his shoulder making sure the guards had left. But when a few guards clicked their pins of their guns, that meant that they weren't happy. Before they shot, Freeze quickly turned and blasted them into ice sculptures.
Victor needed that item for some cash and Catwoman was the best thief in the world to get it. The police were still outside, trying to break into the entrances to rescue the firefighters. Realizing that the windows were a way out of the museum, Freeze pointed his gun and froze the windows. the glass stiffened and also expanded. Freeze ran towards the window and smashed into the frozen window with ease and speed. He blasted his gun as he fell to make a slide, which reminded him of his days as a child at the playground alone of course.

"I'm out.." Selina would finally answer. "I'll meet you later...." Her soft voice would reply, before Freeze could here the comlink click off. She wasn't going to answer to him, nor risk getting caught tonight. She wanted to first inspect her prize, and then, well, she could pass it off to Victor later. Possibly over a Martini at Oswald's. Walking with the throngs of people outside, she easily blended in, green eyes cast skyward, curious if Batman would be appearing tonight for the festivities...
