Heather is bored. Of course, that's mostly because the brave toxin is preventing her from having any pre-show anxiety whatsoever. Of course, given how big of an occasion she hopes that this will be, a little boredom is a small price to pay in order to not have the jitters. She glances idly at the dials on the machine next to her. To someone not familiar with sound editing equipment, it probably looks like a large, random mess of wires, dials, and small flashing lights. It's set to record, rather than broadcast - Crane didn't happen to get this guest for her with good timing to make it live. Which is just as well, since she'll have a chance to edit it before it's broadcast in case it doesn't go well. Not that she's worried that it won't - why wouldn't it go well?
Right now she's just waiting for her guest to regain consciousness. She looks over at him for any sign of movement beyond shallow breathing. Crane tied him up to a metal lab chair, and it seems like overkill to her. Then again, since she's not afraid that her guest will escape, anything would seem like overkill. But his hands are tied with wire behind his back and to the back support, his feet are crossed and tied with wire to the base of the chair, and there's rope wrapped around his waist. Even if she could fear she'd suspect that he's stuck - she may not know a thing about tying up a person, but Crane does.
She sighs to herself while she waits - she's had enough time to get everything ready that she needs. A mic has been placed just in front of her guest to make his words easily caught, and she's verified that all the equipment is functioning perfectly. She's sitting on a comfortable desk chair in front of the machine, wearing a set of headphones to better verify the sound quality. Yep, everything is in place, just got to wait for the guy in the wolf costume to come to.

Wulfen groaned with discomfort as he finally came too. He looked around the room he was still in abit of a daze and his thoughts were still cloudy. He looked around some more before he realized that there was a mic in front of his face. He furrowed his eyebrows and confusion was plainly written across his face.
"Where am I?" He asked in a raspy voice. Then he cleared his throat. "Who are you?" He asked in a clear voice. He tried to rub his head but found that his hands were bound. He struggled against his bindings alittle and found that it wasn't just his hands that were bound. HE was bound. He struggled against his binds then stopped when his head started to throb.
"What's all this?" He asked finally noticing the radio equipment and the other things in the room. "You weren't the one in that mask were you?" He asked. If she was the one wearing the mask she's alot stronger then she looked.

Heather's boredom suddenly vanishes when the man groans and indicates that he's finally waking up. The room they're in is small - the machine is in the center but there's room all around it. Where Wulfen has been placed with his back to one of the walls there's enough distance between them as she sits at the machine that she'd have to get up to touch him, but not much further. The room is lit only by a single spotlight above her, leaving the corners in shadow and the man somewhere in between. But it's not the lighting that she cares about, it's the audio.
And when he talks, it's with an ear for how coherent he is - she can't interview someone who can't talk properly after all. But he seems more dazed than anything. His questions are interesting, and she easily answers them. "I have no idea where this is, come to think of it," she replies, but shrugs that off as unimportant. While she was awake when she was brought here, she hadn't really been paying much attention. As far as she can tell they're still withing Gotham somewhere, but it was quite a drive from the station. "And I'm VerMillion - have you heard of me?" she asks.
She was somewhat famous, at least in some circles, before she was kidnapped. And after that happened a few days ago her name and face have been plastered all over the news - kidnappings always make for good stories, but to have it happen live on a radio show made it even better. To have the victim herself happily proclaim while overriding her station's frequency that she'd be broadcasting a show only a day after she was kidnapped made it even better. One would have to be a bit under a rock for the past few days for her name at least to ring a bell, if not her face. Or, rather, her hair since that's even more distinctive than her face.
Yet, in spite of the fact that she's a kidnap victim of the Scarecrow, she looks quite relaxed as she answers his questions. "And this is all so that I can interview you, when you're ready," she adds, not quite realizing how strange that might seem. But at his question about her having been the one in the mask, she laughs and turns in her chair so that he can better see her. "Do I look that tall?" she asks, before laughing again. There'd be other ways to tell, of course, but the most glaring difference between her and Scarecrow is the height difference - he's almost a foot taller.

Wulfen wasn't all to thrilled at her answer to the "where am I" question. It made him feel somewhat worried when he heard that the person holing him (or at least he though was holding him) didn't know where they were. Though he felt somewhat better at hearing the other person offer their name. 'VerMillion, VerMillion' He thought. "Wait.. The girl with the radio show?" He asked. He had listened to her show before. He never called in or anything and he didn't listen often but he listened enough to know who she was. Though he had never actually seen her. He stopped watching the news coverage of her capture after the hundredth time they said the same thing. "Weren't you kidnapped?" He asked still in a daze.
He looked at her trying to take in what details he could. She didn't seem like she was going to hurt him, as a matter of fact she seemed completely innocent. Also he felt somewhat relieved that someone wasn't panicking due to his costume. Even if he didn't know why.
"You want to interview me?" He asked. His head was still throbbing when he asked the question. He finally managed to open his eyes completely and regain his senses. He sniffed the air quickly to see if there was anyone else nearby. He didn't smell anyone. At least not yet. Just this woman across from him.
"Sure we can start the interview if it will get me out of all this." He said indicating his binds. And when she shifted in her seat asking if he thought she was the one in the mask he let out a chuckle. "No I guess he was taller." He noticed that she was a very pretty woman.... He hoped that she would be a kind and nice as she looked.

"Yep," Heather replies simply, though she thinks that 'girl with the radio show' is a rather weak description. Though she's never really cared what people in general think of her and the brave toxin only makes that worse so she shrugs that off. The question about her being kidnapped also gets a, "Yep." And she appears to be completely unbothered by that. Really, it's more of a technicality - Crane brought her here and she didn't want to go... It's not like he's doing anything bad to her. And each day that passes makes her more and more content to stay. Especially if this interview turns out well.
But she certainly looks pretty harmless, even if she looks like she doesn't have a problem being here. She's short, thin, and hardly looks like she could put up much of a fight even if she wanted to. And aside from the fact that she doesn't seem to care that he's tied up, she certainly doesn't look aggressive at all. Her only intention here really is to interview him, so his third question also gets a, "Yep."
Though his statement after that needs to be corrected. "Actually, I don't know what he'll do with you when we're done, but I doubt he'll just let you go," she says, but shrugs that off. Whatever happens to this guy when she's done with him is both not something she has any say in and not something that's her problem. Perhaps she'd have more concern for him if she wasn't on brave toxin, but while she's able to feel concern it's... hard.

"Yeah I've listened to you." Wulfen said when she confirmed him knowing who she was. He was alittle confused about her reaction to being kidnapped. But he didn't push it though he did think. 'What was that syndrome called?'
He looked at her and wondered what she meant by 'interview' He looked at her and thought. 'This isn't the asylum is it?' He figured that judging by the radio equipment it wasn't.
"Wait you don't know?" He asked feeling abit of concern. 'That makes thing even worse.' He thought. Then he shifted around in his seat.
"So is this all you want from me? An interview?" He asked. "You didn't have to send that guy." Then he looked at his binds. "Are these really needed?"

VerMillion smiles when he says that he's listened to her. "Oh, cool, I love meeting listeners," she comments, though that fact will have no real effect on anything. She just likes the confirmation that there really is a lot of people out there who like to listen to her. Sometimes that can be a little bit of an abstract concept since she's more used to being alone in a booth talking to people over the phone - almost feels like she's talking to disembodied voices instead of real people sometimes, except when she meets a listener in person.
His question causes her to shrug and say, "Nope." What else can she say beyond that? But as she's currently incapable of worrying about her own problems, she definitely can't worry about someone else's. Actually, she takes the worry in his voice as an overreaction; as far as she can see, any sort of worry in this situation is completely uncalled for. But then, she's on brave toxin.
When he comments that she didn't have to send Crane after him, she laughs. "Oh, I didn't send him - that was his idea. I just said I needed someone to interview. He worked out the details," she replies, appearing unconcerned. She didn't ask for Wulfen, or anyone else in particular for that matter. She just needed someone. That Crane brought her a vigilante was an unexpected surprise. He could have brought her someone that people have actually heard of before if he was going to do that, but she'll not complain. And when he asks about his bonds, she shrugs again and says, "That was his idea too."
But while he may be extremely concerned about all those details, she has something else in the forefront of her mind. "Anything else you need to know? Or can we get started?" she asks, starting to get just a little impatient. This should be a fun interview and she's eager to get to it.

Wulfen smiled and nodded. "Well Its nice to finally meet you." He said then he shifted around in his seat and then gave up against the binds.
'Lupin are you there?' He mentally asked his friend.
'Yes I am, I just thought you would like some quiet in your head.' Lupin replied.
'Thanks.' Wulfen said back. All this was kept within his head though.
He felt uncomfortable about the fact that neither of them knew where they were. "Ok then. I just was hoping you would know." He looked around the room and he couldn't find any new details.
Then he looked at the woman. "Well if this was what he had in mind he didn't need to be so aggressive about it." He said.
'What do you say Lupin? Shall we go through with it?' He mentally asked.
'We don't appear to have a choice.' Was the reply he got.
He looked at the woman. "Well VerMillion..... I guess we could go ahead and get started." He said. He looked around one more time to see if there was anything else in the room that he should watch out for. But he didn't see anything. So he sniffed again more just to take in the scents in the area so he could try to get out at a later time. If he got the chance. And also if he needed to find this woman again it would be that much easier.

The room really is bare of anything unrelated to its intended purpose, as it's not used for anything else. It would almost diminish the awesomeness of the machine if it had to share space with anything, at least in VerMillion's mind. Oh, but this guy probably can't appreciate being able to override any radio signal in Gotham.
She shrugs off his comment on Crane's aggression, saying only, "I'm sure he had his reasons." Reasons that she doesn't really care to know, seeing as his method for catching her 'guest' has absolutely nothing to do with her. He's here, he's able to talk, and that's all that really matters to her.
When he says that they can get started, she reaches over to the machine and pushes a couple of buttons to start recording. Then she lazily leans back in her chair, putting her feet up on a corner of the machine where she's unlikely to accidentally bump any of the buttons. Just because he's all tied up in a chair doesn't mean that she can't kick back and relax, after all. The spotlight above her causes her and the machine she sits at to stand out brightly against the shadowed corners of the room.
And aside from the machine itself, a few supportive electronics, and cables attaching them together or heading into the wall, there really isn't anything worth noting in the room. No syringes or other sharp objects in sight. Only a technophobe would find something to fear in this room, at least as far as its contents are concerned. It's probably even more boring scent-wise - it smells more like VerMillion than anything, partly because she's currently here and partly because she wanted to make sure that she knew how to run the machine herself instead of needing Crane's help with it for her first show so once she had a time frame for that in mind she had more of a drive to poke at it instead of Crane when she was bored - not that she left him alone. And he's the only other person who has been here recently. Perhaps Wulfen might pick up a few scents of the chemicals of the lab just outside of the door, but either VerMillion's nose just isn't sensitive enough or she's gotten used to it.
"Let's start with the basics, then," she says once she's settled, "Who are you, and why are you dressed like a werewolf?" Her voice is light and conversational, as if they were both lounging around in her booth at WGGZ rather than kidnapped and in Scarecrow's hideout.

Wulfen couldn't help but laugh slightly at her response of 'he had his reasons' He looked at her and asked. "His reasons? The dude really didn't need to garrote me." But he shrugged. "Eh, I guess I can be alittle extreme sometimes."
Then he sniffed the area again. He noticed a few new smells but he couldn't tell what they were. All he knew though was this woman had a unique smell. And he found himself thinking back fondly of when he met a certain woman. But then he brought his mind back to the present.
Then he chuckled at her question. "You know. Your the first to ask me that question." He said. "Well I'm Wulfen." He said as if he was introducing himself to a new friend. After all in a situation where your being held hostage. The last thing you want to do is antagonize your capture. Granted he didn't know who his capture was but he would rather play it safe. "And its kinda a long story why I picked a werewolf. But main reason is that I've always loved the werewolf mythos, and one of my good friends was in the same family as the wolf." He said. Implying that he meant a pet dog. But not letting on that he had one living in his head.

VerMillion shrugs off his complaints about the way he was brought. She wasn't there, so she can't say, and she doesn't really even care anyway. Though she's guessing that he fought back, which is a stupid idea when you're going to lose.
Ah, but forget all that! Once the interview starts, VerMillion quickly finds herself getting comfortable. There's a lot of things about being here that are weird, unfamiliar, etc. but interviewing someone falls squarely within the range of 'normal'. She didn't do it very often in her old show, but she did actually do it. But this time she both isn't afraid to ask anything she wants and has no reason to censor herself either.
Then again, she doesn't know the guy she's talking to so they're just getting started - before you dive in, you have to break the surface. "'Wulfen'?" she repeats, as if she didn't hear that quite clearly, even though she did. "What is it about werewolves that you love so much?" she asks curiously, before adding with a little amusement, "Don't tell me it was the 'Twilight' series?"
As she sits in her chair she watches him idly, though she's not at all concerned about him sniffing the air. It hasn't even occurred to her that he might want to escape actually, so it's more just being sociable. Well, except of the fact that she's doing so with a bit too much eye contact - after hanging around Jon so much, when she's on brave toxin she tends to forget that staring tends to make people feel a bit uncomfortable.

Wulfen nodded after she repeated his alias. Or at this moment it was his name. "With a 'U' not an 'O'" He said. He looked around the room and smiled at the strangeness of the situation. He was kidnapped and so was this woman and she didn't seem to care. He was still alittle worried about what was going on and what might happen afterwards. But he wasn't letting it bother him at the moment.
If he weren't bound he would have brought his hand up and pointed in the air to make a point with his next statement. "No!" he said quickly "I haven't even picked up that series." Then he looked Vermillion in the eye. "And the 15 minutes of it I saw waiting in line at the electronics store ruined the werewolf legend." He said. "And I'm not completely sure what I like about werewolves.............. I guess maybe they just seem kinda cool....... Well........ I guess a few of the game I played as a kid might have something to do with it." He smiled fondly as he thought of the game he was referring to.
When he noticed that she was looking him in the eye abit of Victor shown through. He shifted uncomfortably in the seat he was in. It wasn't him being stared at that made his feel awkward. Rather it was having a woman stare at him in a one on one setting made him feel this way. This wasn't the first time either.

"Uh-huh," VerMillion says when he protests, her tone skeptical enough to suggest that she's merely pretending to believe him. Though his alternate explanation is what really gets her attention. Mostly because it's so... weak... "You 'guess' they're 'kinda cool'? That's not really why you chose a werewolf is it?" she asks with a knowing smile. Actually, it's an educated guess more than anything. She just knows that if she were to run around in a costume, she'd pick a costume that had more meaning to her than being 'kinda cool'. She had more instantly passionate things to say about the costume she put on for Halloween last year.
"So how did the Scarecrow manage to catch you anyway?" she asks now, as if the previous question was unimportant, her eyes not faltering for a moment. Her eyes are hazel, but appear lighter than that with the way the spotlight above her makes her and the machine she's sitting at stand out against the rest of the room. And her hair is more fiery than ever when so much light is on it, contrasting sharply with their darker surroundings.

Wulfen thought about it some. He had to tell her something better then what he said. And well. He wasn't going to tell everyone about Lupin. The only people who knew about Lupin either cornered him in or found it out on her own. He also hoped that this woman sitting across from him wouldn't find out.
"Well....... I guess my ancestry might have something to do with it." He said. My grandfather was German.......... And the werewolf legend started in that part of the world." He said after a few seconds of thought.
"Well Scarecrow sorta roped a bit of wire around my neck and sorta cut off my air supply until I blacked out." He said without thinking. "Wait? Why are you asking that?" He was getting alittle bit confused but he wasn't going to let it show.
He caught himself looking at her eyes again and quickly looked away. He glanced around the room again. Trying to find anything else he could look at other then her eyes. Her hair also had a interesting quality about it. And needless to say he was having a hard time not looking at her. But he kept trying not too.

"Uh-huh," VerMillion says again as he explains about his ancestry, still not sounding very convinced. Mostly because he seems to have put so much thought into that answer. One shouldn't have to dig that deep to know why someone wears something, even if you're just talking about regular clothing, let alone a costume. No, now she's completely sure that he's intentionally not saying. "Not going to tell me, are you?" she asks, looking somewhat entertained by that.
But she's also entertained by his answer to her question about his capture, actually laughing before she asks, "So you were defeated by... wire? I thought you needed a silver bullet to stop a werewolf." She smirks before shrugging and adding, "I'm asking because I wanted to know." Well, that and as the interviewer it's her job to ask the questions.
The problem with the way that the room is set up, is that with the spotlight above her it makes the rest of the room look more dull and uninteresting to the eye, which is also attracted to bright colors like her hair. His eyes are being drawn to her the same way a cat's eyes are drawn to small movements - it's instinct, really. Instinct also tells one that when someone is staring at you there's something horribly wrong going on, even if the one doing the staring looks totally relaxed, leaning back with her feet propped up in front of her.
