Wulfen still couldn't believe that "Mr. Pepper Spray" managed to get away from the GCPD. But he knew how to fight this guy and how to beat him. But he didn't want to do it just yet he was going to see what he was up to. After all the guy evaded the cops and came straight to the docks. And he came to the eeriest part of the docks too "What are you up to?" He muttered under his breath.
He followed the guy abit farther. There were countless times that he had to duck behind something in order not to be seen by "Mr. Pepper Spray" and it happened so many times that Wulfen was starting to get alittle tired of it. But he also got the idea that the man wasn't on the look out for Wulfen. It looked more like he was looking for something else. "Well I know Black Mask operates here." He muttered.
Then he saw him enter a warehouse. Wulfen was helpless when he felt a grin cross his face. "Here we go." He muttered. "To bad I don't have anymore pepper spray."
He then crept his way over to a opening on top of the warehouse and he looked into the warehouse and started thinking about how he was going to go about doing this. He got an idea and grinned again. He then started to quietly open the window he was looking through.
Then he stopped. He had a feeling that he was being watched. He stopped and kept crouched and slowly rotated on the balls of his feet and looked to his left. Then he slowly turned to his right and then glanced behind them. When he didn't see anyone he shrugged and went back to trying to go into the window. He opened it up and froze. He had that feeling again. Instead of looking around. He sniffed. And he smelt something strange but he thought that it was simply the docks. He didn't know how wrong he was.

The Scarecrow was no stranger to the docks. When the FBI had invaded Gotham he took up residence near them, staying quiet as a mouse for some time. It had given him plenty of time to stock up on his toxin and to create his newest toxin. He was under the impression his old hideout still existed but since the FBI left he had no reason to use it, it was probably occupied by some homeless man or tore down all together.
He had been following this man for several blocks. Ever since VerMillion’s show had been started he had begun his research on more of a heavier scale. What first caught his eye was the man’s appearance, honestly it could have been anyone selected to bring in to be VerMillion’s first guest. He wasn’t going to be particular about it considering it was her first. He wanted someone easy to drag back after she was done and begin his work.
Plans change however; this man was obviously new to Gotham. The Scarecrow had never seen his costumed identity before nor was he able to pin point who was underneath the mask. Intrigued he began to follow the man wondering exactly what he was up to, he would corner him eventually and get him back to his hideout but for right now, he was interested in exactly what he was after.
The Scarecrow stayed in the shadows a good distance behind him, he watched him carefully open the window. He didn’t move from the shadows as he the masked villain or vigilante turned on his heels and looked to the left and right. The gesture made a sinister smile appeared from within the mask. He remained still and patient as he waited for him to make his next move. Nothing of the Scarecrow moved as he watched him open the window and freeze again. What was stopping him? The thought put a dark satisfaction in The Scarecrow’s eyes. This one was going to be worth it. "Are you scared?..." He whispered softly in the shadows believing to be inaudible to human ears at this distance. How could he resist?

Wulfen was just getting ready to drop down and once again subdue "Mr. Pepper Spray." But then he heard a voice from somewhere behind him. He spun around in the blink of an eye and stood up and looked around. He knew that he wasn't alone now. Because that wasn't Lupin's voice and Lupin was supposed to be the only other voice that he would hear in his head.
He then jumped forward and spun around again as the window slammed shut. Startling "Mr. Pepper Spray" into fleeing. "No!" Wulfen shouted. Then after watching the man flee he spun back around and looked for the source of the voice that scared him.
"Alright I know your there." He said. The tone in his voice showed that he was indeed scared. But he wasn't terrified. He scanned the darkness looking for the source of the voice once again.
He couldn't see anyone though. He was getting ready to step closer to the shadows to see if he could see into the shadows any better. But he stopped himself and remembered alittle exercise that he and a certain alien did. He started sniffing. He once again smelt that new smell. He wasn't sure what it was and he didn't know how to describe it. Normally he would have closed his eyes to make his sense of smell even sharper. But he was too scared to do so.
He kept standing where he was in a fighting stance with he feet a shoulderwith apart and his left foot just a few inches further forward then his right foot. He had both his hands up into fist with his right fist closer to his chest and was gazing into the shadows and sniffing the air. He couldn't pinpoint where the voice had come from. But he knew that it wasn't friendly and that it was in front of him.

The darkness from within the mask watched as the scene unfolded in front of him. He tilted his head slowly; his interest in this one was obviously well placed. He had heard him…A few things immediately came to mind. As he watched him shout after whatever he was stalking and then turn to face the darkness not too far before him.
The masked villain or vigilante had heard him from quite a distance. Even with the distort he was still able to control the volume of his voice. His hearing was obviously that above a normal human begins. His suspicions were further confirmed when he saw the creature barking into the dark. His voice was shaken, oh how he was going to enjoy every moment of this. The Scarecrow had barely moved and already he had given him so much information.
The darkness hid The Scarecrow well from him. No attention was given to the person that this man was previously pursuing. He had already chosen a test subject tonight. As the man took a small step forward towards the darkness and stopped a sinister feeling settled within him. Afraid to embrace the darkness? Of course he was afraid to face fear…
What the man began to do next further proved that there was something unnatural about him. The Scarecrow began to move and stepped slowly out of the darkness. The darkness faded around him much like a mother with her arms wrapped around her child letting go, her arms slipping from them as they walk away. He came into the dim lights of the Easter docks and came to a stop some distance from his newest patient.
“I don’t think you do know what’s in front of you…” The distortion cracked from the mask. His posture was incredibly relaxed. His muscles were loose, his feet stood a distance apart, obviously not threatened by the other man’s stance.

When the figure emerged from the shadows he took a slow step back and got his guard up abit more. 'Who is this guy?' He thought. He figured that this guy was where to smell was coming from.
He took in the man's stance and figured that he was bad news. He looked at the man and listened to his voice. It was a strange sounding voice and he figured that he was using some kind of gadget to make his voice sound like that. But he didn't linger on it. "Who do you think you are and what do you want?" Wulfen asked in a tone that said he had slight fear. But he wasn't overcome with fear. More like this was his first time meeting a man like this.
His eyes narrowed behind the lenses built into his mask. He didn't know what to do or how to do it. All he knew was that he was going to need to do something if the man attacked. He let his hands close into fists and watched the man closely.

Being closer to the man now he was able to size him up better. From the way he held himself he could assume that he wasn’t a criminal. It was only a guess at this point though, if he could look into the man’s eyes he would be able to tell instantly, but the mask he wore covered them.
He tilted his head to the side slightly and took a step forward as he began to speak. Who did he think he was? This masked ‘possible vigilante’ was obviously new to this. The question made a small sinister smile spear behind the mask. If he only knew exactly what he had just asked.
“I….am the Nightmare…I am the Master of Fear….” His head turned almost upwardly as he spoke, clearly unstable in this obsessive understanding of the world around him.His hand extended outwardly toward toward him but with his palm turned upward. “The Arbiter of Terror…” He turned his gaze back to his newest patient. His extended arm held its position but pointed toward him now. “But you…will know me as The Scarecrow…” The distortion in his voice cracked out once again.
He watched as his scared research subject pulled his features together, the closing of his fists told him a lot. How lucky he was to run into The Scarecrow so he could put him in his place, and show him what he was really doing behind his mask. That would all come with time however. Despite his raised position he didn’t let any of his other limbs lose their relaxation. Until he decided to make a move on his own it would remain this way, in his art, it was about absorbing blows and remaining loose. He would make his move eventually if this one didn’t advance on himself…but right now..he wanted to relish the anxiety emitting from him.

Wulfen kept his stance up and eyed him closely. He didn't know who this man was but the fact that he was wearing a mask like that told him he was worse then "Mr. Pepper Spray." He instantly started to get a bad feeling. It came in the form of a knot in his gut. He decided he would fight in the style that he had come to be comfortable with. Defensively. So when the man advanced he stood his ground. And then when the man reached a certain distance away from him he took one step back but stayed in his stance.
"Scarecrow?" He asked. "You mean like the Wizard of Oz? So are you friends with the Cowardly Lion?" He asked unable to restrain himself and he felt an amused grin cross his face. Then it left. "Look Mr. Scarecrow." He said staying in his stance. "I don't really want to fight right now so. If you would kindly leave I won't think any less of you." He said simply trying to avoid a fight. He didn't know anything about this man all he knew was that he gave him a strange eerie feeling.
'Wulfen, I think he's up to something.' Lupin mentally told him.
'Ya think? Don't worry I'm keeping my guard up.' Wulfen mentally replied.
Wulfen kept his stance in shape and his eyes locked on Scarecrow and couldn't help but think one thing. 'This guy is bad news.' He didn't realize just how deep he had just gotten himself into the darker side of Gotham City.

The Scarecrow continued with his steps forward now moving into a casual advance. As he got closer and his mask became slowly clearer, an amused smile appeared within the darkness of his mask. What fear made this man…or wolf rather. The thought was fascinating, why would he choose such a creature that depended upon others for survival? He had better hope that there were others here to save him…because this lone wolf was in trouble..
The reference to the Wizard of Oz outwardly didn’t seem to faze him. He only slightly tilted his head in interest, he was quite bold in the face of fear. All the more reason he would make a perfect test subject. It wasn’t the first time he had heard the taunting statement. He had quite a history of being bullied and being called names, especially when he was young. Now however, most would call him numb to it emotionally, he learned how to deal with bullies.
The Scarecrow listened to him make his plea, nothing was going to save him. A dark laugh emitted from the distortion. “No….I’m not friends with the Cowardly Lion….” He stopped in his advance about an arm length and a half away from him. “But I am newly acquainted with a Cowardly Wolf…”
He reached into his jacket pocket slowly and wrapped his fingers around something inside it. Once he held it tightly between his fingers his mind wandered to his other jacket pocket where a small pouch of his toxin lay. It was very tempting to just dowse him in it and find out what the little wolf fears. Again, VerMillion couldn’t work with a frantic guest, it would have to wait.
He pulled out the surgical wire from his pocket and let it hang loosely at his side as his limbs were rested. “Let’s not make this harder than it has to be…” He outwardly warned through the distortion. Something in him hoping that he would just turn tail and run. How he did love to see his patients cower..

Wulfen kept watching the man come towards him. He now knew the man as Scarecrow, and his little comment about the Cowardly Lion was rather involuntary..... But it helped him relax. He had forgotten all about why he first came to the docks. Now it was all about this Scarecrow guy. When the man made the comment about the 'Cowardly Wolf' Wulfen couldn't hide a grin. 'Now that really is pretty good.' He thought as always he could take a verbal jab...... Well it depended on the kind, this wasn't one of the jabs that got to him. As with Scarecrow, Wulfen too had been poked fun at for a while in his life. Which might have something to do with who he was when he wasn't Wulfen.
"Well then Mr. Scarecrow." Wulfen said :I would shake your hand, but I'm sure you understand." He said taking in the details of the masked face. Then he saw the man reach into his pocket and tensed up ready to defend himself. He knew that tensing up wasn't going to help him doge anything any faster. In fact it would slow him down. He looked at the man and then saw the surgical wire and felt his skin crawl. That stuff brought back unpleasant memories. None of them brought fear, but they brought discomfort. He simply kept his stance and said. "I'd love to... But I've got a busy schedule."

The Scarecrow wouldn’t have taken his hand if he extended it. He barely did that in his previous professions. This wolf really had no idea what he was getting into. Of course he was desperately trying to leave, that much was clear. Unfortunately for him it wasn’t going to be so simple.
He watched his body tense at the sight of the surgical wire, mentally preparing for what was inevitable. In this case the poor dog was certainly trying the flight system before the fight. His fingers wrapped a few more times around the wire, he wasn’t going to use it right away, in fact he hadn’t planned on it going into his neck at all unless he had too. Instead he would wear him down and tie him up with it when he just couldn’t fight anymore.
That was his first plan, though he was fully aware that plans often change. It was clear that he was new to this, but maybe the little wolf would have some fight in him. His feet took their positions as he moved into his Crane style stance still gripping the wire in his right hand. He let the anxiety of the moment soak in. “It looks like you just go some free time…” The Scarecrow taunted through the crackled distortion. He was tired of waiting for the wolf to make a move, with one calculated lunge he faked forward rushed him and side stepped instead. His hands keeping their Crane positions, attempted to hit him in the side with his left and come down on to the back of his neck with his right.

Wulfen eyed the surgical wire and the way the man held it. He wanted to run he wasn't going to deny that. But he wasn't going to turn his back on someone. He may have been new to all this but he knew better then to do that. He watched the man, who called himself Scarecrow, and started to look for away to run.
The taunt didn't really get to him. As a matter of fact Wulfen thought that it was rather witty. Maybe not funny but still this guy could think quick on his feet. But he didn't let his guard down. He watched the man closely and waited for him to make the first move. Unless of course he could find away to get out of there.
Then the man lunged and Wulfen reacted by stepping back and was caught off guard when the man stepped to the side instead. All Wulfen could really see was a hand coming down on him. So he ducked and felt one hand hit his side and another brush the fur like ruffles on the head part of his costume, right where his neck had just been. Wulfen found himself in a crouching potion so he did what felt natural. He spun on the balls of his feet with the ti of his fingers just inches off the ground and extended one leg in an attempt to take the man's legs out from underneath him.

It had been some time since he last demonstrated his art seriously for anyone. What better time than now with the cowardly wolf? The Scarecrow was quite proud of his mixed martial art Violent Dancing, just one more of his magnificent achievements.
The wolf had ducked leaving his hand to scrape only the top of his head, he had struck him rather hard in the side however. The Scarecrow went to make another move but saw him spin around and attempt to sweep him off his feet. Feeling the pressure connect with the sides of his leg The Scarecrow muscles reactively went immediately loose. He rolled on the balls of his feet to face toward the blow and let his body fall back naturally.
Striking the cold ground beneath him would have looked painful, but he had done this so many times before. At the right moment his muscles tensed together again and in one fluid motion rolled backward with the impact and rose to his feet again. Just like that The Scarecrow had recovered from the shot to his balance. He had to admit, this misguided little wolf had a bit of fight in him. He raised his hands outwardly to their Crane positions again still rolling the surgical wire in his fingers. His art was all about absorbing blows and striking effectively and quickly, if he wanted to defeat him he was going to have to take into consideration something rather than balance. Through the distortion the Scarecrow let out a dark laugh and beckoned him forward. “You welcome the nightmare?” he cracked out.

Wulfen felt a small feeling of victory as he felt his foot hit the man's leg. He wasn't all to surprised to see that the fight wasn't over. But he was caught off guard to see how fast the man got back up. Wulfen got back into his stance from before and got ready to see what would happen next.
"I wouldn't say I've embraced the nightmare." He said. "My dreams are more weird then scary." He said.
Then he had an idea. After all he had been on defense so far. Why not mix it up some? He took a sliding step towards Scarecrow and brought his right leg up with the knee bent, making it appear as though he was going to preform a snap kick but then at the last second lunged at Scarecrow with a punch to the jaw.

Of course The Scarecrow was able to recover fast; recovery was the best thing about his mixed art. He didn’t have large intentions of doing this dance with this wolf all night. He had come out here to get a guest and return back to his home.
The Scarecrow shook his head almost sighing through the mask. He hadn’t wanted him to explain his dreams. Of course the metaphor flying right over the little wolfs head. Or perhaps he was mocking him? Either way it was insulting, the wolf just really had no idea who he was facing. He didn't grace his words with a response, being a man of few words anyway.
Suddenly the wolf slid up to him. The Scarecrow didn’t move a muscle until his foot raised to kick him. He placed a hand out in front of himself to catch it but it never came. Instead he saw a hand fly to his jawline. The impact was rather rough, probably for both of them. The Scarecrow absorbed the blow only stepping back a few feet and grabbing at his mask. He was a bit disoriented at first. The metal from the gas mask was on both sides, it had impacted his jaw with the punch and possibly left quite a mark. He knew that the wolf was hurting too. What possessed him to punch for his jawline?
He was giving him too much credit. The mask was dark after all, but he did have to admit the little wolf had some fight in him. The Scarecrow jumped forward using his Crane position again to attack a pressure point near his shoulder. If he could he leapt in after the strike to close any gap they had between them. His hand wrapped with surgical wire went immediately for his neck to grasp it if he could.

Wulfen felt a shot of pain shoot through his arm after he hit the man's jaw. But he was too focused to react to it. Instead he just kept moving. He felt himself getting into a rhythm. He saw the man throw an attack towards his shoulder. Wulfen knew there was a pressure point there so Wulfen spun and got ready to throw a backfist into the man's head. Then he felt something go around his neck.
His reaction was to stop his spinning motion and try to pull the wire from his neck. He then felt the attack he saw coming hit his shoulder. He dropped to one knee and yelped in pain. He managed to keep fighting. He reached to the wire with his left hand and tried to pull it away. And with his right arm he shot an elbow to the man's groin. It was the most tender spot he could get to in his current position.
